New Teacher
Izuku was awoken by an ethereal ringing in his ears, launching himself out of his bed with fright.
[You have slept a full eight hours!]
[Health and Anti-Particles Fully Refilled]
"What the hell?!" Izuku shouted at his system, allowing his frustration to get the better of him.
"Izuku Midoriya! It is 6 AM, stop shouting! We have neighbours!" Inko uncharacteristically shouted at the boy for uncharacteristically shouting at his system, strange. Making sure to stay quiet, Izuku decided to do his Daily Quest, he had nothing better to do, "System, Daily Quest" he whispered.

"This isn't too bad, even a preschooler could complete this workout!" Izuku seemed to forget he hadn't worked out ever and is weaker than a preschooler. Getting into the push-up position, Izuku then endured the worst training he has ever been through in his life, after which his arms were feeling like jelly.
[Not so easy, is it Izuku?]
"Stuff it." He grumpily said, continuing with his push-ups until he finally met the goal, to which he then moved on to the squats, which were equally as brutal. "I salute those who go to the gym daily." He only complained more and more as he slowly completed his tasks. Partway through the boy's run he was greeted with an unexpected but well-received message.

"Finally! A physical skill!" Although Izuku was happy to have all of his current skills, none of them could really help him in a Dungeon or against a Villain, but now he finally had something to use, even if it was just to run away. By the end of his run, he already had 64% of the skill's progression, which he assumed was going to get more complicated as he levelled it up, it seemed to level up when he ran even when he wasn't using the skill.
Finally, Izuku ran the 2km and he was really regretting it, but he didn't want whatever mysterious punishment was coming his way if he failed. But now it was time to reap his reward!

A multicoloured luminescent ball enveloped the air in front of the boy, who stood stunned at the sight, did other Systems do this? Izuku greedily held out his hands and closed his eyes, hungering for his reward. Images of giant swords and magical wands filled the boy's mind as the reward dropped into his hands, this was not a giant anime sword. An ancient-looking book that weighed a ton and was about five inches thick lay in the Izuku's grasp, it had a forest green cover and its title was encrusted in gold and read, "Anti-Particles for Dummies", the boy was not best pleased.
"What the hell is this?!" He interrogated his System, trying to get to the bottom of this mystery, he was owed more than a book for his efforts! "Why did I get this crusty old book? This isn't fair!" Izuku further complained, "I already know everything about Anti-Particles! I studied them for years!".
[Be grateful, this book will benefit you far more than a mere sword could]
"But come on! I did that huge workout only to get a book in return, you must know how unfair that is!" The boy tried to argue his case, but it wasn't getting through for whatever reason.
[Izuku, there have been children half your age who do that workout with no problem, you are just very weak and unfit]
Izuku immediately shut up, he knew better than to argue with someone that was right, he would just look like an even bigger fool. Borderline dragging the book into his house, Izuku heaved his aching body into the shower where he savoured the warm water washing over him. Once he made his way back to his room, he checked the time, 8 AM, "Might as well start on that stupid book while I dry off." He said, still salty about his lacklustre reward.
Flipping to the first page, Izuku began to read, "Chapter One: Channeling...". As he read, the boy slowly realized, this wasn't a book about Anti-Particles, it was a book about how to use Anti-Particles. "So to start 'Channeling' I need to 'feel my energy well' by blocking out all my senses, easy.". Closing his eyes, the boy got into a meditation position and didn't focus his ears on anything.
After a few minutes of nothing, Izuku was beginning to get agitated, 'How am I meant to do this when I can always feel something on my skin?!". These thoughts kept bouncing around in the boy's head until he had an idea, 'What if I go into an early stage of sleep? One where I can still think but I don't focus on anything at the same time?'.
[You have made a correct deduction based on information about your situation, +1 Wis]
This affirmation from the System had Izuku immediately testing his plan, allowing himself to give in to his exhaustion without fully falling asleep. After another ten minutes of this, Izuku was beginning to lose his grip on his consciousness when he felt it, a cold sensation in his chest, like he was about to get beat up or take an important test, a feeling of dread so powerful it sent a shiver down his spine.

"Woah! Another good skill! I'm getting super lucky with these!" Izuku said as he broke himself from his first-ever meditation. Overcome with excitement, the boy immediately activated his AP Sense, only to find that there was almost no distance, apart from inside his chest where there was a small dim pool of red and black energy (Imagine cursed energy from Jujutsu Kaisen, only red), "What the hell System! I thought this was a cool skill!".
[Anti-Particles are visible to the naked human eye, this skill only gives you a heightened perception of these particles]
"Well that sucks, I only got better AP vision." Izuku's mood took a one-eighty, luckily the system came to the rescue.
[If you level up your skill enough you will have inhuman levels of Anti-Particle perception, even being able to sense threats before others]
He was once again filled with joy, now reinvigorated with determination, he grabbed his wallet and ran down the stairs, "I'm going out, Mom! I'll be back in a few hours.". Izuku didn't wait for his mother's reply as he ran down the street and sped to the sports shop, activating his Run skill to move even faster.
[Skill: Running Level up! Lv2]
Finally, he reached the store, albeit panting and sweaty, walking in he surveyed the packed store in a pathetic attempt to find any workout equipment he could. 'Since the System awards me for stretching myself, I should probably purchase body weights as well as normal weights, to hopefully increase my training speed.' Picking up a set of four body weights of varying masses, Izuku decided it was a good time to test out his Analysis skill, "Analyse," He whispered.
[High-Quality Training Weights]
[A set of four body weights used by beginner athletes]
Izuku decided to try this on a few of the other products in the store in hopes of increasing Analysis's skill level, apparently, he hadn't been whispering that quietly as a very annoyed-looking blonde woman approached him. "Hey, Kid, could you, maybe, not whisper like a little weirdo, your creeping everyone out." She unapologetically barked, making Izuku squeak with fright.
"O-Oh! S-Sorry..." He meekly replied, his face turning blood red as he saw all the other shoppers looking at them, the woman seemed completely unfazed. However, Izuku couldn't shake the feeling that he had seen her somewhere before. Unable to resist the urge, Izuku whispered, "Analyse,".
[Yu Takeyama, Alias Mt Lady: Lv36]

"Holy shit! I just got scolded by Mt Lady! The Mt Lady just told me to shut up!" Izuku quietly fanboyed as he went to check out, not noticing the blonde's eyes tracking him when he wasn't looking in her direction. Walking out of the shop Izuku struggled to carry all of the weights he had bought, needing to take breaks periodically to catch his breath.
[You have pushed your body's limits +1 Str]
"Ha, that's funny." Izuku dryly laughed at the System, walking past an alley, much easier than he was earlier due to his extra point in Strength, a hand shot out and pulled the boy into the shadow and away from the prying eyes of Musutafu's general populace.
Panicking the boy frantically looked to the owner of the hand covering his mouth, it was Mt Lady! "Okay Greenie, how did you know I was Mt Lady?" She interrogated poor Izuku, who just wanted to go home.
"I-It's m-my S-System, i-it l-lets me s-see o-others n-names and quirks." He stammered, still with Mt Lady's surprisingly strong grip around his throat.
"Hmm, how about this? I'll give you anything you want, and you will shut up." Mt Lady said with a dangerous look in her eyes, "So what do you want?".
As he thought, Izuku realised he had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, he decided to ask for something that every other normal teenage boy would want. "Erm, c-could you t-train me?" The greenette mumbled, clearly catching the woman off guard.
"Huh?! Why? Why me?" Yu asked as she loosened her grip on the boy's throat.
"W-Well I want t-to go to UA, b-but my abilities o-only just c-came in s-so I need h-help c-catching up with e-everyone. And y-your the o-only H-Hero who offered" She was once again surprised by his answer and innocence, most kids his age would have chosen something very different.
Seeing how the boy was truly deadset on getting stronger, and because she didn't want to have her personal details leaked, she decided to agree, sure, you seem like a nice enough kid. Meet me at Dagobah Beach tomorrow by 7 AM, if you are even a minute late I will leave and the deals off.". Izuku audibly squeaked at that part, filling Takeyama with a small bit of joy. She wasn't going to be the best teacher.
The next day Izuku was standing at the beach in his gym wear doing his Daily Quest, he had been there for an hour and Mt Lady was a no-show. "Sorry, I'm late! The woman called as she ran towards the boy in her hero suit, "I got caught up in a Dungeon and I lost track of time!".
"I-It's fine, I j-just go here." He lied as he continued his squats, sweat pouring from every pour it could.
"What... are you doing?" Yu asked, tilting her head in confusion.
"My Daily Quest, it gives me +1 in my Strength, Dexterity and Agility plus a random reward. I'm also using training weights to boost the process ahead faster hopefully." Izuku explained finishing up his squats and then getting into a running stance and activating run, "Run,". As he sprinted along the beach, he found that Mt Lady was having no trouble keeping up with the boy, still asking him questions.
"So what are your current stats?" Instead of just telling her, Izuku decided to show her so he could better focus on his run.

"Those are some pitiful stats, most people's physical stats average around 45-50. Your System must have reset your stats." Yu mercilessly said, stabbing Izuku with her words, "Luckily you have me here to help you get stronger, you'll have to be the best of the best to get into UA.". Rubbing her chin, Yu adopted a puzzled look as she reread the boy's status screen, "Hey what does it mean by 'Unique Trait: Anti-Particle Creation'?".
After a few more minutes of unanswered questions and lots of running Izuku finally completed his Daily Quest, collapsing to the floor in an exhausted mess and draining the bottle of water handed to him by his teacher who didn't seem all too tired. "So will you answer my question? What is that Anti-Particle Creation stuff? Aren't anti-Particles what create Dungeons?" Yu was still as unempathetic as ever, still demanding answers from the boy.
"I-I was quirkless, t-then I fell into a-a Dungeon, k-killed a s-slime, and woke u-up in the h-hospital with a system a-and producing l-lethal levels of A-Anti-Particles. I can use them to my will if I practice enough, at least that's what the System said." Izuku battled to keep himself standing as he accepted the Quest Rewards.

Once again, the air in front of Izuku lit up, catching Mt Lady's attention, "Woah! I've never seen a System do that before!" She was awed at the glowing orb as Izuku put out his hands to catch his prize. Suddenly the light disappeared and was replaced with a large key, easily seventeen inches, and the sudden weight falling into his hands caused Izuku to stumble forwards slightly.
"Why is everything this System gives me super heavy!" The boy moaned as he activated Analysis, "Analyse,".

"Let's hold off on that for now, at least once you can at least utilize your Anti-Particles in a fight." Mt Lady said, reading the description over the boy's shoulder, "Speaking of, you should probably start training your mastery over Anti-Particles." Izuku made his way towards the AP Book that he had thought to bring, his hard work was paying off!
Opening the mini-bible, Izuku flipped to where he had left off the day before, Channeling, "Okay, so to start channelling my energy I need to feel my energy like I did yesterday, but then will it to move. That sounds simple enough." He said getting into his meditation position, "Meditation,". After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence, Izuku began to think of ways to speed up the process of finding his core, 'If I can't find my core, then I should hypothetically be able to use Anti-Particle Sense to help me find it.'.
"AP Sense," Once activating his AP Sense, Izuku's mind approached the orb of red and black matter in his core. Tensing his mind (If you can) He tried and tried to get the matter to budge, but no matter what he couldn't move it, over and over he tried to make this stupid blob move, but he couldn't do it. Leaving his trance he looked up to see a freaked-out Mt Lady, "Are you okay?".
"Your chest started glowing!" She wailed, her eyes not leaving his chest.
"Oh, that was probably just because I was trying to move my energy but couldn't." He calmly explained to the woman, calming her down a bit.

Izuku's eyes widened as the information sunk in, he needed to increase his stats to increase anything, well that's convenient.

Delving back into his AP Meditation, Izuku found his core after a minute or so and then repeated his tests, this time with more positive results. When he tried to move his energy this time, instead of no change whatsoever, the orb began to deform, looking more like a stretched ball than the perfect spherical shape. Seeing as he couldn't move the whole core, he decided to take a different approach.
Focusing on a select piece of his core, Izuku slowly began to separate a small segment from the main body and control that instead, which was miles easier than his previous attempts. The boy then carefully moved this smaller orb up what he assumed was his arm before reaching the end, where he then left it to practice within his conscious state. Once he was conscious, Izuku was gleefully surprised by a message from the system.

"Good job, Greenie!" Mt Lady said, giving Izuku a hard slap on the back, "Now, give me your best punch with it.".
"W-What?! B-But I d-don't w-want to hurt you!" Izuku panicked, waiving his hands in front of his face in protest
"Kid, I'm a Pro Hero and have trained for years in combat, a punch from a middle schooler won't hurt me." She spoke in a strange form of endearment. Letting out a sigh, Izuku got into his fighting stance (A mix match of styles he had seen on TV) and prepared to punch the woman, "Hang on! Your stance is atrocious, and if you keep your fist like that you will break your thumb. Here let me help you.".
After being taught proper posture by Yu, Izuku was now ready to beat her up. Reeling back his fist, Izuku squeezed his eyes shut as he swung his fist forwards, releasing all the power he had charged up in his fist. Except, the boy's fist just hit Mt Lady's palm with normal power, no flashy kaboom, no damage, nothing except a painful fist. "Yowch! What went wrong?" He said to himself as he shook his stinging fist, examining it intently.
"Maybe you used the wrong hand?" Mt Lady said as she leaned against a broken fridge.
"Yes! Thats it!" The boy exclaimed, returning to his novice fighting stance and readying his left hand this time. Once again he reeled back and swung forward with all his might, only to have the same effect. Izuku continued this pattern for hours, constantly trying and failing to get his AP to do anything.
After the sun went down was when Mt Lady decided that he had had enough for the day, "Kid, it's fine, we can always try again later. Rome wasn't built in a day," Yusaid only causing the boy to freak out.
"Yeah, but it also wasn't built in three months. I need to improve substantially in the next few months or I won't get into UA's Hero course." Izuku said, his emotions clouding his better judgement.
"Look at yourself!" Yu shouted, finally snapping Izuku out of his strange state of emotion, looking down, he saw his bloody knuckles, beaten and battered. "You are in no condition to continue, go home and rest and we will try again tomorrow." She said putting a hand on the boy's shoulder in a rare display of empathy.

Packing up his belongings, Izuku bid farewell to his teacher and set off home, as he walked he began trying to figure out his AP release problem. Walking down the street Izuku felt a growing pain in the ball of his left foot, like something was burning a hole through his foot. As he was crossing the road, the pain became too much for Izuku to handle so he stopped to check what was causing this pain.
Unfortunately, as he was doing this a car came speeding down the street, not slowing for anyone, especially not a frail fourteen-year-old like Izuku. Seeing the car far too late, the boy could only try to make a mad dash across the street, putting as much power as possible into his left leg. There was an explosion of red and black energy from under Izuku's foot as he went flying across the street faster than someone could blink.
Smashing into a brick wall, Izuku was distracted by two notifications from the System.

Once he got home, he had to try and calm his distraught mother because her 'baby boy' almost got hit by a car, it also took a lot of convincing for her to believe 'I'll be fine in the morning'.
After he showered and clambered into his bed, Izuku rest his head on his pillow, his exhaustion slowly catching up to his mind, his eyes struggling to stay open. "It's gonna be a hard few months," Izuku said before he drifted off to sleep.

Thats a wrap! I hope you all enjoyed this chapter as I had a fun time writing it! If anyone is wondering, I shortened the time Izuku had for the UA exams to make sure he didn't get too OP before UA. The next chapter will have a bit of a time skip from this one, being based roughly a month after this one, it will also be focused on Izuku's first Instant Dungeon experience. Although most of the Ideas in this story are mine, there are definitely some aspects that have been borrowed from stories like Solo Leveling. Thank you for reading!
