American Dragon Up! Season 02 Episode 07
The group were sitting around in school at the lunch table bored since it was really dull that day. They were chatting about different things regarding everything that's been going on and we see that Raven had started to wear longsleeve shirts with a barely noticable red glow close towards one of her wrists on the inner side of the arm though it was very faint thanks to how dark the clothing was that she was wearing though her friends did seem worried. Of course the rest of the school was oblivious to this and so went about their day as usual.
"I've asked Fu to look into it with Gramps, but so far no luck." Jake stated to them about what they were speaking about currently.
"Weirdly there's nothing on the Net about them either, not even in the deep or dark sites either." Spud then told them while typing away at his computer while stuffing fries into his mouth.
"I tried the library but currently nothing." Trixie then stated up next not having any luck either before adding "But that's just one of the many libraries in the city."
"We've asked the Foundation to look into it as well." Harrison sighed about their resources before adding "I've also been going through the Loreslave and all the stuff that they have on various stuff but I've found nothing useful there yet either."
"Sophie said that she'd have the Casterwill family look into it including Focauld who is the keeper of Knowledge for the family." Den stated to them saying that all their friends were trying to find out what's going on too. "I think Danielle asked Ben to request Charmcaster and Gwen to look into it too, along with Hex and Spellbinder."
"I've tried to check through the Huntsclan main Library files but so far haven't come up with anything, and I may not be able to dig more into it as the Huntsmaster is starting to become suspicious of why I'm looking into things." Rose then told them indicating that everyone was trying their best for whatever they were looking into.
"Thanks guys, but.. I think we should be more worried about whatever the Huntsmaster is planning right now." Raven stated while looking at her arm where the mark would be with a sigh.
"Why the long faces, I'd think you guys would be happy." Sun Park spoke coming over to the group seeing that they were looking upset by something before adding "After all, four of you have been nominated for King and Gween of the dance."
"Nominated for King and Queen?" Jake then questioned what she was on about since they hadn't heard anything about all that yet.
"Jake and Den have been nominated for the role of King of the Dance and Rachel and Rose have been nominated for Queen." Sun then explained to the group though they seemed to have their minds elsewhere as the bell rang to go on back to class.
The group continued to go through the rest of their day at school and eventually it was time to head on home and they'd stopped by the lockers to continue their chat from lunch about what was going on though Brad had noticed them and began to go over while they just pretended that he wasn't there. Sadly ignoring them didn't make him go away.
"So, uh Rachel, y'know I was nominated for King of the Dance and I heard you were nominated to be Queen, wanna be my date?" Brad questioned waving to Raven asking if she'd go to the dance with him.
"Sorry, but I've got better things to do than go to the dance with you." She answered closing her locker and then turning to leave going with them out of the school's main entrance.
"Hey wait Uuu.." He'd tried to call and chase after only to once again faceplant due to his shoes being tied together leaving him looking even more confused than he usually did stating "I wore slip ons today..."
The group had gone their own ways after finishing what they were talking about and headed off on back to their own respective places with Jake still going along with Rose for a bit since they lived around the same area. They'd stopped once getting close to where they had to split off at and we see them talking before the two share a hug for a moment and then Jake transforms into his Dragon form and flies off.
Little did the two fo them know from a distance using a high tech pair of binoculars was the Huntsmaster keeping an eye on them lowering the device he then sighs saying "I would have thought better, you disappoint me daughter."
Sometime later Rose returned to the lair of the Huntsclan and found it dark so she'd kicked on the lights finding herself surrounded by various other Huntsclan toting weapons moving in and one of them attacked her, which she'd jumped over kicking them in the back and grabbing their weapon as they were falling.
"Good, if only you would use those skills against the Dragon." The Huntsmaster called clapping before then snapping his fingers as the next person attacked her and she'd used the staff to parry their strike before stabbing it into the ground and kicking them in the gut knocking them back into a wall.
"I do use them against the dragon Master." she'd responded spinning the staff and holding it behind her while looking around with her free arm extended waiting for the next person to make their move.
"Do you now, because from what I've seen you've been keeping secrets from me, like your little research project." He'd answered back as two more attacked at the same time giving her no opening between them to escape.
"I can explain Master." Rose then told them as she'd stabbed the staff into the ground again using it as levarage to pick herself up as she'd flipped upside down doing a split and kicing them both in the head knocking them away as she'd continued to spin and then land back on her feet removing the blade from the ground and took another stance ready for more.
"Do tell?" The Huntsmaster then spoke wanting to hear just what she thought she could say to get out of this little situation.
"A Ghost who'd nearly caused the end of the world and the distruction of the Huntsclan with it has placed a strange marking onto one of my friends from school. I was trying to discover what it was." Rose then responds to them while waiting for the next attack to come.
"And you did not think to bring this to my attention?" He'd questioned growing more irritated at her excuses of what's been going on.
"I wanted to see if it was worth your concern, I'd hate to waste your time on trivial matters." Rose then stated to him as she was attacked by three more individuals which she'd promptly taken out by sweeping the first one's legs and then kicking them hard enough to slam into the other two.
"I will be the judge of what is and isn't important, it was enough of a concern for you to research it you should have brought it to me directly." They'd told her with an irritated tone of voice.
"Yes master." Rose spoke with a bow and picked up a pen drawing the S shaped mark on Raven's arm for him and handing it over. For a split second it seemed as though he recognized it but then he scrunched up the paper.
"Soon this will not matter we will make the wish tonight." The Huntsmaster then told Rose who seemed confused by his words.
"How will we do that with one skull missing?" Rose then asked only to be blasted in the back by multiple other Huntsclan members.
"I'm sure your boyfriend will be happy to turn it over in exchange for your safety daughter." He'd then spoke as Rose was struggling to get up "Eighty Eight, Eighty Nine, you two will deliver something for me."
The Huntsboys did as they were told, though not sure why they were supposed to deliver a letter to some old electronics shop, they'd found it empty and so slipped the letter into the mail slot while Fu was there pretending to be a normal dog, seems they didn't recognize the place though they didn't really get a good look at the front or the main room of the shop before they had to escape out the window.
Once they were gone Fu checked what the letter said and immediately called Jake about what was happening. Later on Jake had taken Haley and called up the rest of the group too and they were now on top of a building with thirteen gargoyles with open mouths surrounding them and the Huntsmaster came down along with members of the Huntsclan and Rose who was being held captive by one of the members.
"The message said to come alone." The Huntsmaster reminded them however he didn't seem to care much that Jake had backup.
"As if you'd come alone." Jake then spoke rolling the skull over to the Huntsmaster who'd picked it up and nodded to the others who'd placed the skulls in place in the mouths of the gargoyles so that things could be prepared for the wish.
"Finally I can achieve the Huntsclan's greatest wish.." Spoke the Huntsmaster as the skulls all began to glow creating a square ring around them all and he'd held up the final one and it'd began to glow like the others, but suddenly there was a black energy with a white outline around the skull.
"All thirteen have to be together to be broken right?" Den questioned with a smirk as the Huntsclan had become confused by what was happening.
"Looks like the gangs all here." Harrison then added to that looking just as smug as his brother as Raven had her eyes glowing glaring at the Huntsmaster.
"Azarath Metrion ZINTHOS!" Called out Raven as the main skull began to crack while she'd squeezed her hands tighter and tigher untill she'd balled them up into fists and shattered the main skull and along with it all the twelve other skulls were shattered to dust as well.
"You didn't seriously think we'd let you make that wish did you?" Jake then questioned looking Smug as Rose elbowed the Huntsclan member that was meant to be holding her and taking off running jumping into the air and swinging her tided up hands under her feet so that they were in front of her now with Sun in her dragon form clawing the ropes and cutting Rose free.
"One traiterous daughter won't make any difference we still have you outnumbered." The Huntsmaster then reminded them however the others didn't look phased.
"Maybe you don't get it, we're not stuck up here with you." Haley spoke flying down in her Dragon form.
"You're stuck up here with us." Danielle in her ghost form then finished before taking a deep breath and unleashing her ghostly wail easily pushing all of the other Huntsclan off of the roof and onto the garbage below making them groan out in pain.
Rose had grabbed one of the staffs before it could fall too and spoke saying "See I've got powerful friends too Huntsmaster and unless you wanna see just what we're capable of I suggest you surrender."
The Huntsmaster paused for a moment looking around as the Dragons prepared their fire breath while the ghost girl had her hands glowing and the ghost dog changed from the size of a puppy to the size of a large truck growling. He sees the girl who'd broken the skulls having her hands glowing with that same energy again and the two human looking guys having their hands glowing with reddish orange and icy blue energies. The other two had a broom and a mop ready to use them like bo staffs it was clear they had him outmatched.
The only choice was the chopper that they'd come in however a small black and green blob had attached himself to it and changed it rearranging it's systems and now pointing all of them at the Huntsmaster as well. The man then smirked under his mask and began to.. clap? All this and he was clapping? This was strange even by Jake's standards.
"Well done Daughter. I yeld, and by rights as your team has defeated my own you Huntsgirl are now in charge of the Huntsclan, but know that you may not be ready for this burden." They'd spoken to them giving up though his tone seemed.. somehow almost proud of Rose for what happened.
The next day they'd gone to school waiting for everyone to get there at the meet up spot with Haley talking to the group saying "I can't believe that you just.. Broke them like that. We could have wished to know about the mark or even wished it away." she'd spoken about the night before and everything that happened.
"I know, but something tells me it wouldn't have worked anyway." Raven then responded as Rose had come in the back of a car getting out for a moment wearing her huntsclan uniform without the mask on.
"Tell me you aren't wearing that to school?" Jake spoke to Rose looking her up and down wondering why she was dressed that way at all.
"I'm not wearing it to school Jake but.. I have to go. As the new leader of the Huntsclan I'll have to go to the main branch in Hong Kong, I don't really know how long I'll be there but, if you ever need anything you've got my number." She spoke hugging him having come to say goodbye.
"Rose.." Jake called before she could fully move out of his reach holding onto her hand that was closest to him. "Good luck, and be safe."
Rose nodded in response to that and actually kissed Jake, which he'd returned and the others had covered Spud Danielle and Haley's eyes even though they were all old enough to know about kissing anyway. The two then after a moment broke apart and Rose spoke "Goodbye." before then entering the car and having them drive off as she'd put her mask on as they were driving away.
