Shego had been snippier than normal. Drakken mostly let it roll off his shoulder, but some of it was kind of hard not to take personally.

"That is literally the stupidest idea I have ever heard," Shego said in response to his latest invention.

"Nygh! Shego! The power cell will allow me to control everyone's electricity! They will bow to me just so I will turn their heat on!"

Shego put her feet up on the table and flipped a page in her magazine. "Yeah, yeah. Sounds like a complete waste of time to me."

Drakken gritted his teeth. "It's December, Shego. Trust me- people like their heat. It's a little mediocre, but it will do just fine."

She laughed. "Oh Doc, you have miles to go before you reach mediocre."

"Nygh! Argh!" He couldn't formulate any words, so he ran his hand across his face and tried to calm down.

"On a different note," she said, flipping over another page. "I put my vacation on your calendar. I'm leaving on the 24th, and I'll be back on the 5th."

He smirked. "Going to have a lovely holiday week with the brothers?" All she did was shoot him a glare, and he gulped in fear. "I mean, uh, going to a nice resort?"

She nodded. "Grove Resort. Best in the business." She closed her magazine and got up from her chair, stretching.

Drakken took in her appearance. She was dressed in her usual jumpsuit, but something was different. Her eyes were glossed- not like she had been crying but like she was incredibly sad. Drakken shook his head. If she was sad about something, surely she would just say so. Instead, she had been more mouthy and lippy than ever.

Without so much as a word, she left him alone in the lab (probably to go shopping for this newly planned vacation of hers). He sighed. He was being stupid. Something was obviously upsetting her, but he didn't know how to bring up the subject without being a victim to her outbursts (and her plasma blasts). Shego never talked about her family. Up until recently, he had assumed she didn't have one. He thought it was safe to assume their recent family blowout was the reason for her current bitchiness.

He rested his chin on his palm and tapped his fingers on his desk. "I guess I should get her something for Christmas to help her forget about this whole mess," he mumbled to himself. "But what?" He thought for a moment, and then his eyes grew wide and a smile spread across his face. It amazed him at how easy and obvious the perfect Christmas gift would be. He dug out his phone book, and once he found the number he was looking for, he grinned. "Oh, this will be the best gift ever."

…..

A few weeks later, Shego was in a tanning chair, soaking up the sun. Mark (a masseuse on his own vacation that she just happened to meet) was rubbing her shoulders, and her sunglasses rested on the top of her head so that her eyes could stay focused on the book she was reading. Now this was relaxing. If the last few weeks had proven anything to her, it was that she needed this vacation. A vacation from her family (who she hadn't been able to stop thinking about since their run in). A vacation from Drakken (the audacity he had to call her while she was away was mind blowing- even if she did just ignore it). And a vacation from her own mind (Hell had to be a better place than her own head).

"Can I get a margarita please?" She asked as the bartender (with a beautiful body she hoped to see more of) walked by.

He nodded. "Of course, miss." She smiled when he headed toward the bar- her eyes looking directly at his behind as he walked away. (She was only human after all). When the bartender returned, she got cash out of her purse, but he shook his head at her. "It's all been paid for, miss."

She raised a brow. "What?"

The bartender took a note out of his pocket and handed it to her. "Your entire vacation has been paid for."

He handed the margarita over to her and quickly moved to another customer. "My entire vacation has been paid for?" she mumbled to herself.

Mark quit rubbing her shoulders. "Man, who did you screw to get that lucky?"

She shot him a glare, and he put his hands up in surrender. She smirked and brought her attention back to the note. "Shego, this is just my way of saying thanks for a super year and Merry Christmas. Yours and evil, Dr. Drakken." Her mouth fell open. Drakken did this?

Mark crossed his arms. "Who's Drakken? Do you have a boyfriend?"

Shego glared at him once again, and without realizing what she was doing, her hands ignited. "What are you even still doing here, Mark?"

He backed away. "Jesus, your hands- uh- they are glowing."

She rolled her eyes. (Okay, so she had screwed him, but after reading Drakken's note, Mark's presence was just annoying.) "Do you want to learn with this glow does?" She asked as a smirk appeared across her face.

He scratched his head. "Uh- I- uh-" She shot him with her plasma, and he went flying back.

She pulled out her phone. "I guess I should have picked up his call," she mumbled to herself. "Maybe he left a message."

Shego rolled her eyes at the scene she had been cursed to witness: Drakken and the buffoon dancing and singing to Snowman Hank. (Drakken watched that stupid snowman show every Christmas, and to see him form a truce to the Possible clan just because of the freaking snowman show made her want to gag).

Kim nudged Shego, causing her to remove her eyes from Drakken and Ron and meet hers. "So, you weren't with Drakken during this operation?"

Shego shook her head. "I was on vacation." She tilted her head back and groaned slightly. 5 hours ago, she had been enjoying a margarita and sun bathing. Now, she was here with the Possible's and watching Drakken act like a 5 year old. When she noticed Kim's smirk, she raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"Oh nothing. It's just that the big bad Shego left her vacation to come to Drakken's rescue." Kim giggled but tried to cover it with her hand.

Shego's hands lit up. "So? You came to the buffoon's rescue."

Kim shrugged. "I come to everyone's rescue."

Shego took a step toward Kim. "What are you insinuating, Pumpkin?"

Kim's grin grew wider. "Maybe you actually have a heart somewhere in there." Kim paused for a moment, thinking about her word choice carefully. "Or maybe you actually care about Drakken? Maybe a little too much for your own liking?"

Shego blasted Kim, which she dodged with her cheerleading skills.. "Listen here, Princess. If you think that-"

Drakken interrupted her. "Shego! This is a truce. You can stop being so threatening for 5 minutes!"

Shego didn't take her eyes off Kim, but the fire in her hands disappeared as she threw her hands up in the air. "Argh! Fine! But so help me, after this truce is over, I will vaporize you, Princess. "

Kim smiled. "I wouldn't dream of anything else." Shego sat down near the firepit next to Drakken. Kim joined her, sitting between Ron and her mother.

The Possibles were laughing at Jim and Tim's goofiness, but Shego kept her eyes on Drakken. When she gripped his arm, he turned to her, and she smiled at him. "Thanks for paying for my vacation," she whispered so the Possibles wouldn't hear.

Drakken grinned at her but shrugged. "Thanks for leaving it to come rescue me."

"I got you something." Shego let a finger run circles around his arm, and the eyes she gave him were incredibly suggestive. Her other hand found his knee, and she gripped it tightly.

"Oh?" Drakken let out in a gulp. Was she suggesting what he thought she was suggesting?

Shego smirked and she leaned in to whisper to him. "I called your mother and told her that her little Drewbie missed her so much."

Drakken moved away from her touch. "YOU WHAT?" His sudden outburst got the attention of their company, who were now all staring at them.

Shego laughed so hard that she had to hold onto her stomach. "She's hopping on the next plane for a visit," she said in between laughs.

Drakken gritted his teeth. "NYGH! SHEGO!"

"Merry Christmas, Doc," she said as she leaned over and kissed his cheek.
