Author's Note: Face earned two Army Commendation Medals, if you go by what's on his uniform in the episode "A Nice Place to Visit," but Hannibal and B.A. only have one. It got me wondering what Face may have done on his own to earn that honor.

"We need to celebrate," Hannibal said as he walked into the hooch.
"What are we celebrating?" Face asked as he gave the colonel a cigar.
"You've been nominated for a Commendation Medal."
There were shouts of congratulations all around from B.A., Murdock, and Ray, but Face was too surprised to react.
"But I didn't do anything…"
"I just got word your little stunt to draw fire away from that orphanage got some positive attention from the brass."
"But I didn't do it for a medal."
"You showed valor without expecting a reward," Ray said. "That's why you deserve it."
