(Cloud/KHLeon-Squall)

Having been placed in Spiritus's Tower this cycle, Cloud Strife crossed his arms against his chest and half-smiled at the three wary warriors sent to battle him. "Hey, Kitten. Love the long hair. Keep it. What's with the extra belts? Just more shit to tear off you when we have sex. It's a real hassle."

Laguna Loire jumped up from the rock he was sent to hide behind. "Hey! I don't care if you're Spiritus's goon this cycle. No one talks to my Baby Boy that way!"

Squall Leonhart made a shushing motion with one hand as the other held his gunblade ready. "I got this, Dad. Cloud's not acting the Bad Guy role. This is how he is without Aerith on his ass nagging him to be nice."

Selphie shifted her weight on her feet. "Really? He's sort of an asshole, Squall. Maybe you should find someone else. There's a whole bunch of new people this cycle."

Squall rested Lionheart on his shoulder and tossed his thick long hair behind him. He inwardly smiled as he felt Cloud's eyes travel down his trim muscular frame. "Maybe I should. It's been awhile since I tasted something new. This new look has been a real hit with the other warriors."

The very second Squall registered the smile leaving Cloud's face, the pseudo-SOLDIER slammed his Fusion Sword into the ground blade first. The ensuing concussion knocked Materia's Chosen to the ground.

Cloud straightened up with a hand holding his sword hilt. Luminescent eyes pinned a chastened Squall down. "Asshole I may be, but I take care of my own. Don't I, Kitten?"

Squall kept his gaze on the floor and nodded.

Cloud's eyes darted to the appearing Exit torsion. His hand left the sword to motion to Selphie, who was hugging a frightened Laguna. "Go. We stayed on this stage long enough for it to register. I'm forfeiting the fight, so the gil will go to your team. It should be enough for you to upgrade to the rose-patterned armor you wanted, Selphie."

The magical girl paused as she led Laguna away. "Who told you about that?"

Cloud's other hand pressed down on Squall's shoulder when he sensed the warrior trying to get up. "Yuffie. I speak with her, Tifa, Aerith, Cid, and Vincent nearly every day. Reno and Zack usually spar with me after dinner."

Selphie frowned as she thought back over the cycle's new rules. "But we're not supposed to…"

Cloud shook his head. "It doesn't matter what Tower I'm placed in. My friends will always be my friends."

Laguna stopped at the torsion and gazed at his quiet son. "Squall, this doesn't feel right. I should stay."

Sensing Cloud's irritation rising, Squall sent a trembling smile Laguna's way. "I'm fine, Dad. It's almost lunchtime. I'll meet you back at the Tower."

Once Laguna left, Selphie pirouetted near the torsion and bent over to wink at the couple. "The SEED Commander didn't pick his form this cycle, Cloud. I did. All us girls thought Squallie would be perfect with long hair and we were right. You're welcome!"

Cloud snorted as the torsion closed behind Selphie. "Meddling kid. Where do you think you're going, Kitten?"

Squall pouted as he was yanked back by a belt into Cloud's arms. He was doing darn good crawling away as Selphie talked. "Not a kitten. Not yours either. According to Zack, you've won nearly thirty battles since the cycle started. Not one gil has shown up in my Moogle account. You take care of your own? Who've you been taking care of, Strife? It's not me. Rude has a joint account with Tifa and Reno is sharing with Aerith as a proxy for Tseng. Cid and Vincent help Yuffie. So who is it?"

Cloud tore off a belt and smirked as Squall cursed at him. "No one. Since I was placed in the other Tower, I had to figure out how to get my winnings switched over to you. Jecht helped me since he's had to do it so many times to support Tidus and Yuna. I informed the moogle before this fight, so the gil should be there when you get back to the Tower."

Squall punched Cloud's shoulder as another belt was torn off and tossed away. "Stop it! I can remove them, if you give me a minute! I hate this separation. It feels weird without you lurking around my room at night. I wake up to your empty chair near my bed and it makes me cry."

Cloud speedily removed his clothes as a nearly nude Squall reclined back onto the hard floor. His long wavy brunet locks fanned out around him. "I've been trying, Squall. Ultimecia keeps snitching on me when I try to sneak out of the Tower."

Squall gifted Cloud with a deep kiss, and petted strong shoulders, as his body was readied for lovemaking. "I'll talk with Rinoa. She should let up once I tell her I can't sleep."

Cloud made his love hiss as he jabbed in another finger. "Her name is Ultimecia. You visit her with either Laguna or Selphie with you. Your new form is all she can think about. She's talking about chaining you to the bed, Squall. I won't have it."

Squall reached down to caress Cloud's cock with a serene smile. "I'm so loved. You going to love me, Bad Boy? Kitten's waiting."

Cloud silenced Squall with a lustful kiss as his cock speared the Gunblader deep. "Manipulative tease. Evil SEED bitch. I should take my gil back. You'd open your legs for anyone for their winnings."

Squall licked his lips as Cloud nailed his willing body to the floor. "Not anyone. Only the top earners. From what I heard, Zack has you beat by a landslide. He's so friendly. Hugs for days. He loves my long hair too. Perhaps I should hang out with him and Sephiroth more often. I've developed a fetish for First Classes."

Cloud growled as he hauled Squall's lower body up to rotate his hips for maximum pleasure. "Zack's showing off for Sephiroth, since it's his first cycle here. Good luck seducing Zack with Sephiroth around. Threesomes aren't his thing."

Squall bit his lip as Cloud fisted his erection. "What's your thing?"

Cloud groaned as he released into Squall's tight body. "You. Whatever form you take. Whatever Tower you're placed in. You're mine, Kitten. I love you. Don't ever doubt it again."

Squall blinked his pretty blue-grey eyes and licked his man's kissing lips. "I won't, Cloud. I love you. Whatever Tower you're placed in, you'll always be my hero."

(Firion/Soul of Rebirth Emperor)

Keeping a sure hand on the hilt of the Blood Sword, Firion stared at the golden figure with white wings floating in front of him and his fellow warriors. "Mateus? My Wild Rose? What is with the dress?"

With eyes shut tight, The Emperor sailed around the room as he spoke. "Your deceased friends battled me while in this guise. I know not why. I asked for forgiveness and promised eternal life in return. It is man's nature to sin yet you answer sin with violence upon violence. Is that not itself a sin?"

Six-year-old Eiko waved her Tiger Racket around. "You're stupid talk is stupid! I'm hungry and don't wanna be here anymore. Be ready to get smote, Lady!"

Nine-year-old Vivi dropped his Octagon Rod to hug his fuming friend tight. "No, Eiko! Firion loves the shiny lady. You hurt Firion when you hurt the Lady."

The Emperor stopped sailing and floated in place in front of the bickering kids. "I am NOT A LADY!"

Firion's muscles tightened as he viewed The Emperor's face flicker between Heavenly and Demonic. "Children, I am sorry for taking you from the Tower so near to snack time. Why don't you two take the Exit torsion back. The Emperor and I have some matters to discuss."

As Eiko skipped her way to the torsion, Vivi turned to bow to The Emperor. "Didn't mean to make you angry, Lady. Your dress is really pretty. You gonna be okay, Firion?"

Firion drew the Blood Sword out of its sheath and held it to his side. He sent a winning smile Vivi's way. "I will be fine, my friend. Go along now. Cinnamon apples and Maria's warm hugs are waiting."

As the torsion closed, The Emperor placed a hand over his heart. "Such a good-hearted boy. I hope my future children will be as sweet-natured."

Having heard enough, Firion brought Mateus's feet to the ground with a mighty leap and one hard yank to a golden skirt. "They'll be twice as rude as Eiko and you'll love them twice as much. Who is this mysterious woman cursed to have your children?"

Eyes still closed, The Emperor shoved away from Firion. "Rude peasant! I shall bear my children! I discovered it is possible in this form and they would be safer if they grew inside me. If attacked, I can shield them with my magic."

Firion's brown eyes narrowed as he placed the flat end of the Blood Sword's blade on Mateus's shoulder. "Who pray tell would the father be?"

The Emperor knew better than to try to knock the sword away. "A hard decision. Leon is a strong candidate. His hatred for me burns ever bright, yet his lust for me burns even brighter. You would not kill him, since he is your adoptive brother, and it would break Maria's heart."

Firion brushed the blade against Mateus's pale cheek. "Open your eyes. Open your eyes or the cutting begins."

The Emperor sighed and opened his eyes to view a menacing hero. "You should be happy. I will be a docile family man living a quiet life with my children and their grandmother at the Desert Palace. Far away from you and your doomed-to-fail new government."

Firion leisurely sheathed the Blood Sword. His bored tone belied the harshness of his words. "All your children will be mine. You shouldn't count so much on family love, Mateus. I will kill Leon if you choose him as your husband. He would do the same if I pushed too far about his dark past. Every man has a breaking point. Maria understands this. I thought you did too."

Mateus clasped his pale neck as he backed away from his World's hero. "What kind of family are you? I may have banished my mother, but it was to keep her safe from my enemies. I would never hurt her, much less kill her. And I am branded the monster? I will take my chance with Leon. You are the worst and I will die before I bear your children."

The Emperor didn't even see the razor-sharp blade as it sliced the golden dress from his body. He hastily scrunched down to cover his nakedness from Firion's lustful eyes. His wings fluttered in distress. "Villain! How dare you!"

Firion reached out to brush his fingers along soft shivering wings. "Hmm. Nice. I thought these were connected to your costume. They come with this form. It would be a shame if they were cut off one-by-one. Pretty painful too I bet."

Firion bent down as Mateus continued to mutter to himself. "What was that? It is not a marriage if we can not communicate with one another."

The Emperor answered by punching Firion hard in the face. "I am trying to cast a spell, but it is not working! None of my incantations are working. What have you done to me!?"

Firion remained where he landed on his behind and rested his forearms on his knees. A sparkly medallion appeared in his hand. He flipped it in the air and smiled as it sparkled in the light. "Shantotto has become a wonderful friend to me. She is a Professor of Magic back on her World. When I told her of the dilemma with my love life, she had a ready solution for a hefty price."

Mateus hid his tears of frustration against his knees. "Is it permanent? If it is, kill me now. Without my magic, I am a dead man once I return to our World."

The Emperor flinched as he felt warm lips run along the side of his face. "Get away from me."

Firion gathered the cringing royal into his arms. "Would marriage to me be so bad? Do you find my face and figure hideous? You may say yes, but the hard cock brushing my arm says no. Just think, Mateus, you can spend the whole of our married life trying to destroy the medallion so you can kill me. What fun we shall have."

The Emperor struggled in Firion's iron grasp, but failed in grabbing the pretty medallion. "You have no right! Give it to me! Why can't I grasp it?"

The medallion disappeared as Firion kissed snarling lips. "It is actually located in another dimension. The medallion can only manifest physically with me. Relax, Mateus. You're not powerless. You can still use your magic. You just can't use it to hurt or kill me."

The Emperor straightened up enough to raise his hand. He sagged with relief as butterflies flew from his palm. "Thank Heaven. However, I will end you as soon as I can discover which dimension Shantotto spirited your bauble to."

Firion lavished a pale shoulder with kisses. "Shantotto reassures me it should take you a good long while, at least until our third or fourth child is born. By then, you will be too busy to kill me."

Mateus shied away from the unwanted affection. "Except for my mother, I lost everything to your damned rebellion. My one dream left is to have a family of my own. It would not interfere with your future plans. You could forget I ever existed, yet you wish to take away this last dream too. I hate you."

Firion yanked Mateus's head back by its lustrous golden locks and silenced the former royal with a possessive kiss. "You think your life debt has been paid, Emperor? You speak of losing everything. Which one of us had their childhood home burned to the ground? Who was run out of every town and village by marauding soldiers? Better yet. Who was the one who sent a Lamia Queen to seduce me then kill me? Tell me, Emperor!"

Mateus gibbered as his body was thrown to the hard floor. His hands were quick to shove a furious Firion away from his nude form. "Lies! All lies! A subordinate gave the creature orders! I would never stoop so low! Do not take me so harshly!"

Firion settled enough to rest his fevered brow against Mateus's temple. "It is wondrous how truthful humans and creatures can be when body parts are being sliced. The Blood Sword has proved this time and time again. Would you like another demonstration, Emperor?"

Mateus shuddered and gently patted Firion's brawny forearms as he kissed a tanned cheek. "No. Once was enough. I am sorry. The Lamia Queen was meant to gather information only. Any further actions were decided by her. Did you sleep with the creature?"

Firion knocked the air out of Mateus by slumping his whole body on top of the Emperor. "Nearly. She transformed halfway through. Congratulations. You will not be the first monster I have had relations with."

Mateus feebly pushed against the hero's muscled chest. "Do not say such mean things to me. I know what I have done. I will have to beg forgiveness once my children learn of it. It will not help if their father is the main slanderer."

A grinning Firion raised up enough to smooth Mateus's hair from his beautiful face and kiss sweet lips. "I win."

The Emperor's eyes narrowed and he harshly bit Firion's lip. "For now. Time is on my side, Rebel. Once I find that blasted medallion, you are as good as dead."

Firion grinned and made himself comfortable between Mateus's thighs. "I can not wait."

(Emperor Larsa/Onion Knight)

Waiting in Spiritus's Tower Common Room, a proud smile blossomed on Gabranth's face. He opened his arms wide to envelop the beaming boy who ran from the front door straight to him. "Luneth! How I've missed you. I shall be Basch's replacement, since Balthier has fallen ill at home. My brother swore to Materia he would not part from his love this cycle. No matter the time pause."

The snuggling teen, who Gabranth had adopted after their first cycle together, rubbed his cheek against a warm chest. "I'm glad, Father. I have so much to tell you. I finally met Larsa at the beginning of this cycle. You were so right about him. He's been nothing but wonderful and he wants us to marry soon!"

Gabranth's alarmed eyes darted over to Emperor Larsa Ferrinas Solidor whispering with his brother, Vayne, next to the vast fireplace. "G-good news indeed. Yet we should have many talks before even thinking of a wedding. You are far too young, Luneth."

Onion Knight slightly backed up with his eyes not meeting his parent's. "I said as much to Larsa, but he is quite determined."

Gabranth glared at the conspiring noble siblings as he steered his uncertain son to a nearby sitting area. "I am sure he is. The House of Solidor is renowned for its… focus."

Once the pair was seated, Gabranth was ready to move on to a new topic when his eyes landed on Onion Knight's new jewelry. "Luneth, what is this around your neck?"

The boy's smile returned with dimples as his father ran a finger along the necklace encircling his frail throat. "Do you like it? It was Larsa's first gift to me. He was so nervous. It was sweet. Larsa told me his mother had one just like it. Vayne said the same when he saw it."

The former Judge Magister lowered his hand and sat back. His concerned eyes met Luneth's. "Have you attempted to remove the necklace?"

Onion Knight ran his own fingers along the necklace as he thought. "Well, no. Larsa told me it would bring bad luck to our marriage. I could try now."

Gabranth was quick to stop Luneth's fumbling. "No! The Emperor is correct. I would not bring bad luck to your future union."

Onion Knight frowned as Larsa placed a hand on his shoulder. "You can call Larsa by his name in private, Father. We will all be family soon."

Gabranth could barely hide his disgust as he glowered at the smiling teen standing next to his oblivious son. "Yes, Luneth, but we are not family yet."

A few days later, a frantic Larsa found his crying love sitting on a boulder in a clearing between the two Towers. "Luneth! Here you are! What is it? Please do not turn me away. I love you."

Onion Knight pushed the Emperor and kicked out for good measure. "You love me? I can't get this necklace off! I've tried and tried! Each time it hurts me more! How could you give me a cursed necklace, Larsa?"

Larsa stared down at the ground with his hands fisted. "My gift to you is not cursed. Not really. It is a prized relic passed down through our family. It is given to each Solidor consort when the marriage proposal has been accepted."

Onion Knight tugged on the jewelry as he practically spat at his future spouse. "Prized relic. Hah! Terra was helping me remove the necklace when she sensed what it truly did. She could not come near me afterwards. She was so sick with the memories. Care to tell me this jewelry's true purpose, Emperor?"

Larsa sat on the ground and rubbed his palms into his crying eyes. "I did not want to give the necklace to you! The House Solidor elders said it was tradition and our marriage would not be recognized without it. Vayne said the decision was mine when I asked for his counsel. I chose wrongly, Luneth. So wrong. Please forgive me."

Onion Knight gazed off with sad eyes towards Materia's Tower where Terra still cried in Cloud of Darkness's arms. "This necklace is a pretty piece of jewelry until I try to remove it or attempt to leave our marriage. If I try to remove it, I will be shocked like a bad dog. If I try to leave our union, no matter how you treat me, my life force will be drained the further I am from you until I am dead. Is this correct, Emperor?"

Larsa looked up to Luneth's condemning gaze and found no love there. "Please forgive me. Please."

With his petite hands holding the necklace tight, Onion Knight's eyes narrowed with purpose. "If you truly love me, Emperor, you won't care what the House Solidor elders think and marry me in front of the Gods and the Empire."

Larsa hurriedly nodded while getting on his knees in front of his soulmate. "I love you, Luneth. I will throw the elders out of the Solidor Compound if you wish. All of the nations will celebrate for a month over our wedding. I wished to remove the necklace, since I gave it to you, but I do not know how. Neither did Vayne."

A fierce look of determination came over Onion Knight's face. Screaming his bone-deep pain to the sky, Luneth called on the power of the Crystal and shattered the necklace around his throat. The exhausted youth collapsed into Larsa's arms.

To the Emperor's relief, a torsion opened with Gabranth, Vayne, and Terra arriving at the scene.

Larsa held his lax mate towards the Esper's weeping eyes. "Please. I beg you. My whole Empire for Luneth to be well."

Terra slapped the contrite teen away and commenced to heal an unconscious Onion Knight. "Luneth's internal burns run throughout his whole body. It was only by the Crystal's grace he lives. My friend was willing to kill himself so as to not be a slave. I have killed monsters who called themselves men for doing this. Why should I spare you, Emperor?"

Larsa froze as he sensed a merciless Cloud of Darkness rise up behind him. "Take my life, if it would appease Luneth's pain. I love him so much. I am lost without him."

The young man's stomach jumped as he was picked up and thrown onto Vayne.

Fran stood tall next to Cloud of Darkness. "Return with Vayne to Spiritus's Tower. It will be up to Onion Knight if and when you can return to be a Warrior for the Light."

Penelo appeared next to Larsa and lightly punched his shoulder. "Me and Vaan will look after Luneth. Take the time to get your head on straight and forget all that House Solidor garbage. Those elders only look to the past. You and Luneth are going to ready the Empire for the future."

Larsa's light blue eyes followed Onion Knight's small limp form as Gabranth carried him to the Exit torsion with Terra continuing to heal him. "What if Luneth does not love me anymore? He did not say he forgave me. Perhaps he never will. Without my love, I will die. I will die, Brother."

Vayne enveloped his distraught sibling in a solid embrace and kissed the top of Larsa's head as he spirited them back to Vayne's personal room. "You shall not, Larsa. Onion Knight will forgive you, once he is well. I spoke with Gabranth earlier. Luneth decided to give you another chance if you chose to renounce House Solidor's archaic ways. To my eternal relief, you did. We shall spend your penance training. Your last group battle was laughable. Your attention was completely off."

Larsa slumped into a nearby chair. "It was one of the rare times I was paired with Luneth. He shines brilliantly when he fights. My heart was so awed, I could not move."

Vayne's hand rested on a black box on the table. "We still have the bracelet which came with the necklace. Our mother only wore the necklace during official functions. When she tried to remove the bracelet, the elders threatened her. She swore she would tear her own arm off with her teeth and spit it back at them."

Larsa picked up the box and threw it against the wall. "No wonder I love Luneth so much. Only a ferocious spirit like his could survive House Solidor."

Vayne settled across from his depressed sibling. "Serve your penance with a light heart, Larsa. You made a life-changing mistake and survived. I, for one, cannot say the same. Focus on the future with Luneth."

Larsa's face hardened with determination as his hand gripped the simple golden heart locket Luneth had given him in return for the necklace. "Yes, Brother. I will."

(Sephiroth/Birth By Sleep Zack)

Sephiroth appeared for the battle in a flash of light and feathers. "All will return to the-"

A spiky-haired mini blur leaped at the General. "Come and get it!"

The General halted the smaller form's forward charge by smashing the incoming sword away and gripping a frail neck. "Fool! So quick to greet Death. Zack? Is this you?"

Sephiroth sighed as the scrawny thirteen-year-old continued to wiggle and struggle in his iron grip. His pedaling feet were nowhere near the ground. "Open your eyes, Puppy. I am not your enemy today."

Hearing his nickname, the teen Zack opened his eyes and sagged in Sephiroth's hold with a dopey grin lighting up his face. "Hi, Angel. I love you."

An extremely annoyed Cid Highwind rested the Venus Gospel on a broad shoulder and shook his head. "What did Ah fuckin' say befer we left the Tower, Pup?"

Zack cringed under the righteous ire of country authority. "Learn who your enemy is, strategize with your teammates, then attack."

Cid slammed the pole end of his weapon on the ground to emphasize his exasperation. "Which you did not fuckin' do! If our enemy was anyone else, you'd be dead. Don't start with the cryin'. Jest apologize to Vince fer bein' an idiot. His heart damned near jumped out of his cape when yer stupid ass leaped at Sephiroth."

Zack managed to swing his gangly frame enough to meet Vincent Valentine's worried gaze with teary eyes. "Sorry, Sir. I didn't mean to jump the gun. I was just so happy to be able to fight. If Spiky had his way, I'd be locked in his room for the rest of the cycle."

Vincent holstered Cerberus. "Cloud merely wishes for you to remain safe. As we all do."

Zack took advantage of Sephiroth's loosened grip and swung forward to cling to the General's long frame with skinny arms and legs. "Yeah, about that. The girls are super nice, and Reno's a hoot in any world, but no one will tell me why I have to stay safe. It's like they're scared I'll disappear. You'll tell me what's up. Won't you, Seph?"

Sephiroth automatically clasped Zack to his heart and noticed how thin the boy's waist was. So frail. He'd forgotten how fragile Zack was when he first joined Shinra. "Never you mind, Little SOLDIER. Allow the others to care for you when I cannot."

Zack kissed Sephiroth's chest as his forehead crinkled with frustration. "Why are we in different Towers, Seph? You're not really a bad guy. Are you? You just switch between Towers like Tidus's Dad, Jecht. Right?"

Sephiroth tilted Zack's head back and kissed the forehead wrinkle away. "When I am with you, I can be nothing but good. Your love drives all the Darkness away."

Zack grinned and kissed Sephiroth's chin. "I knew Ultimecia was lying when she said you tried to kill me and Spiky back on our world. My Angel would never hurt me like that."

Sephiroth's angered gaze met Vincent's crimson eyes across the way. "No. I wouldn't. The sorceress should not have talked out of turn."

Vincent held a calming golden gauntlet up to his incensed son. "Spiritus declared there would be no discord between his warriors this cycle. You will be banished if you fight with Ultimecia. I will have Squall speak with her, Sephiroth. I promise she will keep her thoughts to herself from now on."

Cid embraced his spouse's shoulders. "You get kicked out of this cycle and you can't help Zack with his daily training. It's all the kid talks about."

Sephiroth cuddled the blushing teen. "Am I so missed?"

Zack hid his face against Sephiroth's chest. His response was muffled but heartfelt. "Every second of every day, Angel."

Sephiroth rubbed his cheek against black spiky hair. "My heart feels the same, Beloved."

(Kain/Dancer Bartz)

At the entrance to Materia's Tower, Zidane bounced out of an Exit torsion, followed by a chuckling Tidus, and twirling Bartz. "You gotta teach me how to do that booty move, Bartz! The one where each cheek moves on its own. It nearly took Garland out on its own!"

Tidus clapped a hand on a grinning Bartz's shoulder. "I think it would be illegal with you, Zidane. The tail is sexy by itself."

Zidane bounced into Tidus's strong embrace. "So says the non-dancer in our family. Just you wait. Me and Yuna will cure your two left feet one day."

Tidus picked the Genome up and circled in place. "Nah. This body was made to dance in the water only."

A smiling Yuna met the warriors at the front door. "Welcome back! I love your new dancer's outfit, Bartz. The red shirt brings out the color of your eyes."

Tidus goosed the blushing mimic on the way in. "And the green sash brings out the twinkle of his belly-button. Quit hogging the summoner, Zidane."

Yuna welcomed Tidus into her arms, along with a snuggling Zidane. "There's more than enough love for the both of you. Oh, Bartz! Kain has finally arrived. Show him your new clothes."

Zidane winked from the comfort of Yuna's bosom. "Yeah, Bartz. Show Kain your new black pants with no underwear underneath."

Bartz sniffed as he tossed his head and sauntered past. "You two are just jealous of my killer moves."

Tidus guffawed, nearly bringing the hugging trio down. "More like your killer butt!"

Bartz managed to take five steps in before an eerily smiling Cecil appeared in front of him. "Hey, Paladin! You're sparkling more than usual."

Cecil's smile tightened along with his grip on Bartz's arms. "Fly. Fly fast. Fly far. You will unleash the Dragon."

Bartz chuckled. "Moon People have such weird customs. I love them. Hi, Kain! You're looking manly buff as usual. Like my new look?"

The Mimic twirled in place, with his arms raised, showing the room more of his toned pale midriff. "When I dance, I can confuse the enemy, while sucking their life essence away."

A passing-by Reno chortled as he sagged against Squall. "Suck their life essence away? Hell, I can do that without the dancing and bare midriff. Ain't that right, Baby?"

Squall elbowed the Turk as he reached out to his oblivious friend. "Quit being you, Reno. Why don't you come with us, Bartz. It doesn't feel safe here."

Cloud easily picked Reno up, slung the sniggering tomcat around his shoulders, and steered his concerned other love towards the Dining Room. "Stay out of it, Squall. Bartz is the only one who'll be able to handle Kain. You know how it is."

Squall frowned as he peered at the barely caged beast in Kain's eyes. "I certainly do, Cloud."

Golbez appeared behind Cecil and kissed the top of his brother's silvery locks. "Allow what is to happen to happen. Ceodore is waiting for us in the Dining Room. Kain shall not harm the boy."

Cecil turned enough to kiss his older brother's lips. "How do you know?"

Golbez gently brushed Cecil's pale cheek with his fingers. "I did not harm you when it was our time. Did I, Cecil?"

Cecil embraced Golbez's neck tight and murmured against a strong chest. "No, Brother. And you never will."

Bartz blinked as the pair sailed away. "Okay. That was sexy strange and I'm hungry. Whoa! Hi again, Kain. You're close. Like real close. Like too close. We both can't fit into my pants!"

The dragoon made the mimic squeak as he trapped the confused younger man in his steely arms. His lips traveled the expanse of Bartz's face. "Mine. All mine."

Bartz was about to return his secret love's affections when his chocolate brown eyes landed on the curious lookie-loos standing in the doorway. "Heeey, Kids. Kain! Don't tear my clothes!"

Five-year-old Porom held a wide-eyed Palom's hand. "Sorry, Bartz. We were looking for my brother's Stardust Rod. Sir Highwind? I think Bartz will be cold without his shirt."

Twelve-year-old Krile scurried in to grab Palom's weapon from the couch and push the transfixed twins back to dinner. "Here we go! All found. Let's not interrupt Bartz and Kain anymore."

Palom stood his ground and pointed a finger at Bartz. "Hey you! Why are you fighting? Don't you love him? He looks like he loves you."

Bartz half-hid against his man's muscular frame. "I love Kain. I love him with all my heart."

Palom shook his rod in the couple's direction. "Then let him love you, ya idiot! Don't pinch me, Porom! It's not rude if it's true."

Bartz stopped struggling and cupped Kain's gorgeous face in his hands. He whispered to the lustful Lancer. "Not in front of the babies. Please. I'm not fighting you. Just not in front of the babies."

Krile met Kain's slightly crazed glare with a nervous smile. She sensed, more than saw, the looming destructive wave of Darkness threatening to swamp the children emanating from the powerful Dragoon. "Harmless! We're harmless! Nothing but harmless babies! Palom, lower your rod!"

Bartz gently kissed Kain's cheek, while rubbing his lower body against the Lancer's tense figure. "If you hurt the babies, I could never forgive you. It would break my heart. Take me somewhere we can be alone. You can have what you want then."

Bartz yiped as Kain took tight hold of his waist and made a momentous leap through an Exit torsion in the ceiling. "This should be great. Terrifying but great. I'm leaping with the love of my life. Why isn't this great?"

The pair landed on the Lunar Subterrane Stage in front of the Crystal Palace.

To Bartz's eternal gratefulness, Kain allowed him to catch his breath, so he wouldn't hurl all over the crystals. "Glad the past memories of me barfing all over your armor got past your crazy."

Kain sat down, removed his helm, and placed it to the side. His hard gaze pierced through Bartz's feigned merriment. "Through the cycles, I have felt your blessed love from afar, Bartz. I believed your heart to be truly mine and one day I would be worthy of it. Yet I return this cycle to see you seducing all and sundry with your dancing form. Have I waited too long for forgiveness, Bartz? Is your heart lost to me forever?"

Bartz crumpled under Kain's weary tone and surprised the Lancer with a full-body hug. His ready tears wetted the warrior's cheek. "Never. My heart was yours since the first time I saw your face. I chose this outfit this cycle, so I could show off my dancing and feel pretty. It's a shallow reason, but I get shallow when you're not with me."

Kain showered Bartz's rosy face with kisses. "My apologies. My behavior in front of the children was appalling. When Golbez finally took Cecil as his, they nearly tore the castle apart with their ardor. I thought them both mad and swore never to become such a crazed fool. Fate has deigned to prove me a liar today."

Bartz rested his cheek against a firm shoulder. "Don't apologize. Your reaction was honest. I hate when people play games. I never understand I'm getting the runaround, until someone else explains it to me. It pisses my friends off something awful. Zidane refused to talk to Kuja for half-a-cycle the last time he tried it."

Kain kissed the top of Bartz's head. "Your friends are the most loyal of Materia's warriors. You were lucky to have them by your side from the start."

Bartz nuzzled his Dragoon's cheek with yearning lips. "Not so lucky. I didn't have you. Cecil would fill my head with stories about his best friend. I was sure you could never be as great as he made you sound. Joke's on me. From our first meeting, you were perfect. You are perfect for me."

Kain's body shivered as Bartz heated his face with more kisses. "Stop, my love. I am doing my best to keep control. Push further and I fear I shall break you apart."

The mimic stopped Kain's murmurs with a deep kiss. "I am not afraid. I will never fear the one I love the most. Take what you want, Kain Highwind. My body is yours. Forever."

In five seconds, the lust-filled Lancer had shredded the dancer's clothes from Bartz's laughing frame. "I cannot be gentle. I am sorry."

As Kain tore off his own armor, Bartz kissed all the pale skin he could see. "I'm not."

Kain's fingers ventured to his love's entrance, only to stop their quest in surprise. "Bartz?"

The warrior blushed from his head to his toes. "Don't judge me. Sexually pleasuring myself before the battle helps me to do the dancing properly. If it helps, the only person I fantasize about is you. What are you waiting for? Come on in, Hero."

Kain rested his muscled frame against Bartz's fit form. He groaned as his cock sank in to the root. "I hope you can get used to this, since I am never leaving this Heaven."

Bartz rubbed his cheek against loosened blond hair and kissed a blushing ear. "That's good, Kain. I'm counting on it."

(Kilt Golbez/Paladin Cecil)

On the Alexandria Stage, an excited Ceodore ran into his Uncle Golbez's arms in front of the Tickets Stand. "It's been forever, Unca! I like the form you chose this cycle. It doesn't hurt to hug you."

The giant man's deep chuckle rumbled against the pre-teen's dimpled cheek. "I find the black cloak and kilt comfortable as well. What does your shy father over there think?"

Cecil's blush threatened to make his head explode as he shifted his weight with his eyes glued to the ground. "You look well, Golbez. Will this form not leave you unprotected, Brother?"

Golbez kissed Ceodore's forehead as he straightened up with the smiling boy in his arms. His discerning eyes picked apart Cecil's uncomfortable condition. "We both know the cursed black armor of old was merely a costume to intimidate and frighten my foes. My magic is the true key to my protection."

"Ah, yes." Cecil winced as his high-pitched voice came out cracked. "Your magic."

Ceodore swayed in his uncle's embrace as his feet swung in the empty air. "We miss you, Unca. Father has cried every night since you left for your pilgrimage. When are you coming home to us? Your family?"

An alarmed Paladin stepped forward with his hand outstretched towards his loose-lipped child. "Ceodore! Do not burden your Uncle so! We all agreed your Unca would go do his yearly pilgrimage for his peace of mind. Whatever problems I am experiencing, while he is gone, are mine to bear."

Golbez's heated gaze remained on his troubled brother as he released Ceodore, so the boy could meet an excited Onion Knight at the Exit torsion. "Have you forgotten so quickly, Cecil? Your pain is my pain."

Ceodore cut through the sexual tension as he waved his arm in Cecil's direction. "Noctis and Tidus are taking the rest of the kids to the Besaid Island Stage for fishing. May I go, Father?"

Cecil managed to send his eager son a slight wave with a tight smile. "Have fun, Ceodore. You can visit more with your Unca at dinnertime."

Golbez nodded to the beaming lad as he left. "Good luck, my boy. Catch as many fish as you can."

With his child gone, Cecil's uneasiness made itself plain on his face. "I must admit the castle has been somewhat lonely with you gone."

Golbez's hungry regard brought the blush back to his brother's face. "Why do you hold yourself so far away from me, Cecil? Has my touch become abhorrent to you?"

Cecil's bashful eyes refused to meet his brother's. "On the contrary, it is the one thing I yearn for. Prior to you leaving on your pilgrimage, we agreed we would take the last step in our relationship. Not only would we be brothers, we would be spouses as well."

Golbez took a step forward. "Although it will never be the practice in Baron, it was common in Lunarian society when a sibling's mate died. I asked Rosa's permission before her death. My heart was comforted when I was given her blessing. All she ever wished for you and Ceodore is happiness. I hope we can find it together, Cecil."

The shining Paladin hugged himself as his brother ventured closer. "I know we will find it together, Golbez. Most of the joy in my heart left with you."

Golbez brushed gentle fingers along a fair cheek. "While all the light in my soul remained with you."

Cecil caught the large hand with his and kissed the fingers. "So why did you leave?"

The giant of a man shuddered as his little brother rested his forehead against his chest. "I am a lustful man when it comes to you, Cecil. My utmost fear is hurting your body with my cursed love. Hoping to regain some form of self-control, I chose to leave the castle."

Cecil gripped Golbez's hand tighter as his lips left a trail of kisses along his brother's jawline. "I may resemble our mother, but never mistake me for being so fragile. I am a King. This Paladin's body can take anything your supposedly cursed love can inflict on it."

Golbez's eyes widened as Cecil's naughty hand roamed underneath his kilt. "This is not a private Stage, Cecil. Other teammates could appear at any moment."

Cecil's smile was absolutely sinful as his brother's actions belied his cautious words. "Yet I find my body being lowered to the ground with the help of your gentle hands."

Golbez chuckled, and ran his fingers through shining silver locks, as his sparkling love nuzzled along his neck. "Your beauty has bewitched my heart, my King. Free me or suffer my wrath."

Cecil's deep kiss left Golbez breathless with desire. "I'm waiting, my love. Do your worst."

(SeeD Commander Squall/Crisis Core Cloud)

Squall observed from the high ground as First Class SOLDIER, Zack Fair, put an unenhanced Cloud Strife through his paces. "Slow down. How is he supposed to understand if he can't see your moves?"

"Zack won't. It upsets Cloud when he thinks he's being coddled." Tifa giggled as Squall jumped at the sound of her voice. "Cloud hates being treated like a baby."

Squall hunched down where he was laying on his stomach. "More like defenseless as a baby. What was Materia thinking, bringing this version of Cloud to this world?"

Aerith settled down on Squall's other side. "Materia said she wanted this version of Cloud to have a chance at a better life. He can never return to our Planet, but he's already received invitations from nearly all the other warriors in the Tower."

Tifa whispered in Squall's ear. "Although I think you have a much better shot, when you invite Cloud to stay with you in Balamb Garden as your lawfully wedded spouse."

Squall covered his blushing face, as Zack pointed in their direction, and Cloud joyfully waved to his new friend. "You people from Gaia are the worst. I'm trying to ease Cloud into a relationship. From what Zack's told me, I'll be his first boyfriend. I want what we have to be special."

Squall tensed as Sephiroth appeared next to Zack.

Instead of attacking Cloud, like previous Cycles, the former General received Cloud's jaunty salute with an amused smile, then gently petted the infantryman's tousled blond hair. "You're improving, Strife. Continue with your daily sparring sessions with Fair and you will quickly become an invaluable member to your battle team."

Cloud's smile shone like the sun as he saluted once more to his childhood hero. "You bet, General Sephiroth, sir! Hey, Squall! Did you see me block Zack's sword?"

The guilty SeeD stood up as Tifa and Aerith laughed around him. "Uh, yeah. I sure did. You looked great, Cloud. You're teaming up with me and Selphie again. Right?"

Cloud bounded up to Squall's location and wrapped the awestruck SeeD in a loving embrace. "I'd love to. Selphie's magical shield is great and I feel so safe with you by my side. I need more training, but Zack swears I'm still really helpful."

Squall stared down for a moment, at the miracle he held in his arms, before tightening his hold around his secret love. "You are, Cloud. More than you know."
