While Freddy and Gregory were going up the elevator, Freddy tells Gregory, "If we ever separate again, you can call me on my Fazwatch, if I have power, and am able to reach you. I have thought about two possible exit points. There's a fire escape on the Third Floor Prize Counter, or you could leave through the Loading Docks under the Pizzaplex. I'll mark them on your map. It seems that you have no map. You should be able to get one from the greeter on the Center Balcony."

When the elevator stops, Freddy and Gregory exit the elevator, finding themselves in the main Atrium. A robot greeter pops up and scares Gregory, before offering a map. Gregory takes the map, and looks at it. It was a very small map and wasn't very detailed. It just gave a small, abridged look of each floor, with the only main details being the locations of stairs and recharge stations, but it wasn't a really good map.

"Freddy," Gregory told Freddy. "This map is completely useless."

"There should be other pages to show the areas of the place in more detail," Freddy replied.

Gregory turned the page, and it was torn. Clearly someone didn't want Gregory to know where anything was. Freddy couldn't even mark the exit points he mentioned on the map.

Gregory still wasn't giving up. His hope for finding his family remained strong, and he decided he didn't need a crappy map to find the way out. He was going to find it no matter what.

Gregory first decides to head up to the third floor, where he planned to enter the Prize Counter, but there was no direct entry to it.

"Due to budget cuts," Freddy explained. "The crew couldn't install a door that led directly into the Prize Counter. You'll have to go through El Chip's then through the East Arcade."

The two head over to El Chip's, but the door barely opens, so Gregory had to crawl under and leave Freddy behind. Gregory was at first nervous about separating from Freddy, but he still persisted, knowing that he'll be free in no time.

Gregory was about to head into the East Arcade when a janitor bot blares its alarms. He hears an animatronic charging in so he quickly runs into the back area of the diner. He looks around and sees a gift box, so he winds it up and opens it.

The box contained a can of what Gregory believed was an energy drink. The can had a picture of Monty on it. He quickly stores it in a duffel bag that he found next to the box and puts the drink in a pocket.

Gregory leaves the back area and sees no one other than the janitor bot around. Gregory quickly sneaks past the bot and enters the next room, the East Arcade.

Gregory looks around the arcade and sees Roxy patrolling the area.

"Locate the door with the security symbol on it," Freddy called through the watch. "It should lead you to a security office, where you can upgrade your map and quite possibly your security clearance."

Gregory looks around the arcade for a bit until he finds the door Freddy's talking about. Unfortunately, Roxy is there too so Gregory hides in a nearby photo booth.

Roxy, however, could sense Gregory's presence, so she sniffs around. She looks around and traces the scent to a certain photo booth. She opens the curtain and sees Gregory sitting there.

Roxy quickly grabs Gregory and carries him out. Gregory at first thinks that this is the end, but then Roxy slipped on a wet floor, thus, giving him the ability to escape.

Gregory runs, but Roxy makes chase. He ran out of energy, but by the time that happened, he was at the door to the Security Office, and he scanned the badge. Sadly, it required Level 3 clearance, and Roxy was getting closer, which means Gregory is trapped.

Gregory looks around to find a way to get past Roxy, and sees a vent on the wall. He jumps through the vent and crawls around, but then he hears a music box. He looks behind him and sees a little toy chasing after him. He quickly crawls through the vent and out, finding himself in the Security Office. The toy stopped chasing him.

"Freddy, what was that?" Gregory asked Freddy through the watch.

"That was a wind up Music Man toy prototype," Freddy replied. "It went missing not too long ago, and I guess it has now been found."

Gregory looks around and realizes he's in a Security Office. He sees one of the Badge Head things on the desk and pushes the nose, giving him another badge. He takes the badge.

Sirens blare as an automated voice says the office is now on lockdown. He checks the nearby cameras and sees Roxy and Monty heading into the office, Monty through the left door and Roxy through the right. Gregory quickly shuts both of them.

"What's going on?" asked Gregory. "All I did was take the badge."

"Don't worry Gregory," Freddy replied through the watch. "I can disable the alarm, but it will take some time. Until then, keep watch for any threats and close the doors when necessary. Think of it like playing a video game."

"Who'd wanna play a game where you're unable to move?" Gregory remarked before checking the cameras.

Thankfully, no one was at the doors, so Gregory opened them. He then checked the cameras around to see Monty and Roxy leaving the room and heading back into the arcade, before heading back in and heading back to the office, this time, Roxy was going right and Monty was going left. Gregory quickly shut the doors, so the animatronics bang on the doors for a bit before leaving. Gregory opens the doors again, and that's when the alarm stops.

"See, I told you it wouldn't be so bad," said Freddy.

Gregory moves on into the next area, finding himself in the Prize Counter. It was wonderful to look at, but he still had to be careful. Staff bots were still roaming the area, and if any of them caught him, Monty or Roxy would be called to his location.

Gregory searches around the Prize Counter, seeing all the toys in the area. In one of the shelves, he sees a plushie of Freddy. He thinks about how Freddy was there to help him try to escape the Pizzaplex. Freddy was the only person Gregory could consider a friend. To Gregory, Freddy was a hero. Gregory decides to take a Freddy plushie with him to remember Freddy.

After putting the plushie in his bag, Gregory continues searching the Prize Counter for a possible exit until he finds a door labeled as a Fire Escape. He heads over to the door and is about to open it. That's when a voice says "I'm sorry. This doorway is for emergency use only."

"Sorry Gregory," said Freddy. "I didn't think that through. Meet up with me at the Atrium. There should be an elevator that takes you straight down nearby."

Gregory was about to leave the room when he saw Roxy patrolling the area. She spots him and runs after him.

Gregory runs the other way and makes it back into the Prize Counter, and he sees an elevator. That's when Gregory runs out of energy. He tried to reach the elevator, but he wasn't fast enough to beat Roxy to it. Thankfully, he had that drink with him. He grabs the can and opens it, chugging down the whole can in one sitting. This restores his energy, and now he feels like he can run a bit longer than before.

Gregory runs to the elevator, and gets in, but as the door is about to close, something grabs the door and forces it open. Gregory fears that it's Roxy, but surprisingly it wasn't her. It was a staff bot. It approached Gregory and offered a map.

"I DON'T WANT YOUR USELESS MAPS!" Gregory snapped before shoving the bot out of the elevator. He sees Roxy about ten inches from the door running towards him. Gregory quickly pushes the button multiple times to get the door to shut, and it did right when Roxy was about to get into the elevator. Sadly, Roxy was unable to stop herself and she rammed into the door, leaving a huge dent in her shape on it.

The elevator descends, and it passes a room where Vanessa looked through the glass. She had a worried look on her face, one which Gregory assumed was something she was doing to try and trick him. Little did Gregory know she was worried about him, worried of what she would do if, he, took over her again.

The elevator almost reached the Atrium floor, but the power cut out, causing the elevator to stop. The hour was ending, meaning it was time for the hourly recharge, and time for the power to divert to the recharge stations. Gregory looked up and saw something cutting the cord bringing the elevator up and down. That something was the toy Music Man from earlier. The elevator dropped down really fast, causing Gregory to fly onto the ceiling.

Once the elevator stopped, the power went back on. Gregory found himself in what looked like a control room in the Pizzaplex basement. In front of him was a window revealing a room with a ton of vats.
