Time: 10:17 AM, Sunday, October 14, 2001 – Green City Pub, Green City, Grass Land.

Peach, Morton and Ludwig walk into the Green City local pub to look for the history nerd Arthur. The bar's design inside is about the same as outside, except with a few dartboards and taxidermies of some type of bison pinned on the walls.

"I can't believe you got in a fight with the others, over the location of a pub," Morton stated.

"Yeah, but crap happens, to be honest," Peach replied.

"Madame, vhat about Morton undt moi? Ve aren't eighteen. Vell, I'm not eighteen until next month," Ludwig asked, "Are ve not allowed in here?"

"Don't worry! I am the ruler. What I say, goes, and I need you two with me," Peach replied.

After walking through a crowd of drunken dancers, the group eventually sees the bartender. The bartender is wiping off the counter of the long bar, depositing any found crumb onto the floor. Peach approaches the bartender at the counter, who is still wiping the counter as if he didn't sight the Princess.

"Princess Peach Toadstool of the United Lands of the Mushroom Kingdom. Do you know if Arthur is here? We need to see him," Peach announced. The bartender looks up at her and stares in shock.

"Y-yes, milady, he is upstairs," the bartender replied in a shaky voice, "But he may not talk even to you, unless you buy him a pint. Want to? Royalty discount for you!" he asked.

"Sure," the dainty princess accepted, digging out ten coins from her pocket. She hands him the coins, exchanging them for a pint of beer. Holding the beer, she and the two Koopalings walk up the stairs. In the area upstairs, Arthur is reading a newspaper, with an empty beer glass standing by him.

"Umm, hello Arthur, I was wondering if you can help us? It is urgent," Peach said.

"Why, what the Stars do you want? I dudden talk fer free, you have to give-" Arthur barked in a Southern accent thicker than Apricot's before he put down his newspaper. He then sees who he was rude-mouthing, "Oh my Stars! Princess Peach Toadstool! I'm so sorry!" he gasped, stands up, and bows.

Peach signals him to sit down, then gives him the pint, "You are forgiven, sir. Please make yourself comfortable; I need to talk to you. This topic is really important, as I said earlier. Oh, and here's another pint, paid by Yours Truly."

Arthur sits down and relaxes; Peach and the Koopalings follow his actions, "Thank you madam! It must be impodent if you have dem two koop'lings with ya. That wudn happen during a normal situation. Anyway, what can I help you with?"

Peach thinks about the vision of the shadow beast taking over Plit, "Yes, was there ever a point in time where the world was taken over by some otherworldly being?"

Arthur sits up, happy that this is a history question, "Yes madam. Even I myself don't know much of dis being, as it destroyed thousands of records after it taken over. I dudden know what species it was, or if there was even a group of them, but they were otherworldly beings. Historians and scientists come to that conclusion because we found chemical compounds not natural to this world in a few areas. Plus, even our brilliant scientists today cain't make a compound that complex, making it even more believable that it might could be an alien."

Peach's eyes widened, intrigued by this fact, "Where is this area at?"

"This area is around an isolated island. Its name is Serenity Isle, a crescent moon-shaped island. It's rumored that the otherworldly beings found their way onto Plit through a portal contained under that island, but it is unconfirmed if they actually did. It is also rumored that the portal can be in the mountains of Ice Land, along with a portal around some city in Desert Land, as the certain compound is found in those locations also," Arthur continued.

"Do you know what shape the portal is in? Is it like an actual object, or some dark energy contained deep in the earth?" Morton asked.

"I, sadly, do not know. This topic is not the strongest topic for me," Arthur replied.

Ludwig nods his head a little before he asks another question, "Do you know vhere ve can find some of zhese old records?"

"Sadly, no; I've been looking for such records for years; I've had no such luck. Maybe the Sages are saying that I should not get a hold of them."

At the mention of Sages, Peach starts to rub her chin with her gloved hand, "Do you know where I can find one of these sages?" Peach asked.

"Yes. They are best found in Nature's temples," Arthur said, "That is all I can say. Is that all you need?"

Peach and the Koopalings get up and thank Arthur. The historian then raises his glas to the three characters as they start walking down the stairs. Then they reached the ground flood, they find themselves to be back in the terrible atmosphere of the pub. Pacing towards the door and looking away from the dance floor, they exit the pub.

As they arrive outside, they see that the rest of the group is finished beating each other up. The worst injury to the group is a bloody nose that Daisy sustained, but the drunk people who joined in the fight lay unconscious with multiple broken bones. Looks like the heroes mainly beat them up rather than each other.

"All right, guys; all gather up. While you guys were beating the snot out of each other, us three found out some useful information," Peach announced, then she gives out all the information she learned from Arthur.
