Still testing the waters with this one. Really would appreciate the criticism.
As for those asking about The Four Celestial Primates, I'm afraid I won't continue it. after looking into it, five Wukongs is a bit unfair for any enemy to fight.
Enjoy.

"Take a deep breath. Everything's okay." Said Ailin dejectedly. "So what if he threw you away like everyone else? It's not a big deal. You don't need that stupid piece of Lego. You don't need him at all!"
Ai Lin sat down on the pavement crossing her arms. She couldn't believe her uncle betrayed her like that. But suddenly, as she kept moping on the pavement someone approached her.
It was a small innocent child. "Hey, miss. Wanna play ball with us?" They asked cheerfully.
A normal person would've probably declined politely or perhaps accepted this offer. But someone with as many trust issues as Ai Lin was far from normal.
"What kind of child goes around asking strangers to play with them?" She asked in suspicion. "What are you? Are you trying to trap me here forever?!"
The child froze before turning into a green colored demon. "Was the disguise really that bad?" Asked the demon dejectedly.
Ai Lin didn't answer the question. She didn't even hear it. She could only hear her own heart pounding in fear.
The celestial immediately stomped the ground causing the road to shift into a pillar that slammed into the demon's gut, knocking him to his knees. Without giving the demon a chance to rest, Ai Lin summoned a feathery ying and yang bow and fired an arrow as a beam of energy that sent the demon flying.
"Nope nope NOPE!" Exclaimed Ai Lin in fear before running away at high speed. "NopenopenopenopeNOPE."
Once the celestial girl made it a sufficient distance from the demons she sighed in relief.
"At least being a celestial means running isn't a problem." Said Ai Lin in relief as she leaned onto a light pole.
Sadly, before she could rest she noticed two other demons in plain daylight. They were orange with gold hair and blue with silver hair. Still terrified from her last encounter, Ai Lin started running once more.
But each time she stopped, she was met with some demon or unfamiliar creature that she didn't know was dangerous or not and started running again until she decided enough was enough.
"I can't just keep running forever." She muttered in horror. "I need to do the thing I'm good at, strategizing!"
She put a hand on her chin and began to think. She needed a base. A well protected one. Her powers would take care of that, but she also needed to eat and get clothes and so on and that meant money. But that could wait for now.
"Alright, we got the plan. We just need our base location." Said Ai Lin narrowing her eyes as she looked around her for a good location. "Too crowded, too many buildings around, no greenery, too far from the city and perfect! There!"
A clearing next to the city. That will be her house. Her fortress of solitude. An impenetrable castle that will keep her safe all thanks to her powers.
Her powers operated on five core pillars that functioned like her favorite genre of games from her past life. Strategy games! It was the main kind of game one could play on a donated computer and she grew fond of it.
The five pillars were her own attacks and barriers, deployable units, traps, terrain manipulation and mystic arts.
Using terrain manipulation, her house was built easily. Using deployable units and traps it would become the safest place in the world and nothing, NOTHING shall get past her defenses.
It was time for a tower defense game.

Later.
"Uhh, was this strange castle always here?" Asked Tang staring at a small stone castle standing in front of him.
"Nope." Replied Mei shaking her head.
"Who would even build a castle here?" Asked Pigsy in confusion.
"Maybe they like the location." Replied Sandy cheerfully. "I mean, it's close to the city, not too crowded and there are a lot of trees around. Plus, the craftsmanship is amazing."
"Let's check it out!" Exclaimed MK cheerfully rushing towards the castle before Mei quickly joined him.
Pigsy sighed before he and the others caught up with Mei and MK and once they got closer they noticed that there was no door.
MK and Mei saw this and immediately tried looking inside. The place was odd. For example, the corners of the rooms had ramps. Each and every single one. Even the top corners had upside down ramps. The walls also had some odd shapes here and there.
"It doesn't even have furniture." Remarked Tang before he suddenly stepped on a faint and dusty magical symbol on the floor.
Sandy immediately pulled Tang away as one arrow flew past him and slammed into the wall behind them.
"They must really hate visitors. Hehe." Said Tang with a nervous chuckle.
"One arrow?" Asked Mei raising a brow as she inspected the arrow. "Doesn't seem very...secure."
"Hey, it's that symbol again." Said MK staring at the symbol the arrow hit. "It's just like the one that activated the trap!"
Everyone went silent as they took in what MK just said before slowly attempting to leave only for the entrance to become a wall in their face. Suddenly, before anyone could try anything, the floor suddenly began glowing before it disappeared completely, causing the group to fall into a giant slide screaming as the floor reappeared above them.
The slide separated the group into 4 different groups each group sent to a different room whose corners all had ramps.
Sandy had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this place before anyone. It was a young girl with grey hair transforming the earth.
"Uhh, hi." Said Sandy cheerfully as he waved to the girl.
"Darn it! Already?!" Exclaimed the girl angrily. "Hey, big guy! Wanna high five?"
"Oh, sure!" Replied Sandy cheerfully Lowering his hand for the girl to high five it.
The girl quickly gave Sandy a high five to the face causing him to quickly fall asleep.
"Waste of a sleep trap." Said Ai Lin with a deep frown before hearing some screaming from the next room.
Ai Lin quickly ran to the next room and saw what looked to be a human and a bipedal pig fighting against her tiny troops that were trying to set them on fire with fireballs.
"They already lost, buuuut-" said Ai Lin as she summoned her bow and arrow before shooting the two in the back, knocking them out. "Not risking it."
Ai Lin then ran to the next room to find all her troops in this room destroyed by a girl with a sword.
"Nope." Ai Lin hoped that the girl wouldn't see her, but she soon got an angry glare from Mei who was holding a green sword.
Ai Lin quickly dodged a sword to the stomach and jumped away before Mei attacked her angrily once again.
Ai Lin didn't want anything to do with fighting Mei and quickly retreated into the floor of the room leaving her face exposed by shifting the terrain. Mei tried to stop her, but only managed to strike the rocky floor before a symbol started to glow on Ai Lin.
"Uhh, what does that do?" Mei asked in internal panic.
"It swaps my location with someone else when they get close to me." Replied Ai Lin with a smile before the symbol took effect and placed Mei neatly inside the floor with her head exposed for breathing.
Before Mei could even attempt to break out, Ai Lin summoned her bow and smacked Mei in the head with enough force to knock the girl out for a short while.
Ai Lin sighed in relief before running to the next to room to meet her next possible adversary not expecting to physically crash into him. The two screamed as they got away from each other.
"How many demons can get in at once?!" Yelled Ai Lin angrily.
"Hey! I'm not a demon!" Exclaimed MK angrily.
"That's exactly what a demon would say in this situation!" Countered Ai Lin angrily.
"Actually, yeah. You're right." Admitted MK scratching the back of his head.
Ai Lin aimed her bow at MK only for the boy to hit it out of her arms with his staff. In a panic, Ai Lin tried to flee. She sank into the floor under MK and popped out far behind him.
Unfortunately for her, she didn't the boy could clumsily make his staff longer and hit her in the back rendering her escape a failure.
And soon, Mei woke up and managed to break out of the floor making sure Ai Lin lost badly.
The two quickly tied her up and tied her to the ceiling to stop any terrain manipulation shenanigans before going back to save their friends.

A short while later.
"Alright now, lady! Speak!" Yelled Mei angrily. "Why did you make this lair? Are you dragging people here to eat them? Answer me!"
"...can I get someone less scary?" Asked Ai Lin shying away from Mei.
Mei went silent before shrugging, letting MK take her place. "Alright, tell us who you are!" He exclaimed doing a funny pose.
"I'm Ai Lin. I'm a celestial." Said Ai Lin calmly.
Tang immediately sprung up. "BWBEBWBWWB! A CELESTIAL! YOU'RE A HEAVENLY BEING?!" He exclaimed excitedly before a though entered his head. "Wait- if you're a celestial, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in the celestial realm?"
Ai Lin went dead silent for a few long seconds. "I don't wanna talk about it." She said dejectedly.
Everyone turned to each other and collectively decided to skip the question.
"Okay, why did you build this whole thing?" Asked Tang in confusion.
"When I got here, I saw a lot of demons and stuff I've never seen before." Ai Lin replied calmly. "I got scared and decided to built a fortress to hide in."
"You built this whole thing just to hide?"
"It's only in the beginning stages. If you gave me the time, I would've made a whole maze, add puzzles, a whole lot more traps, maybe even make it multilayered." Said Ai Lin excitedly. "Yeah! What am I supposed to do when an evil demon or monster suddenly appears? I'm not good at fighting, I don't have anyone to help me and I get really scared and I don't know what to believe or who trust."
MK racked his brain for what to say, Sandy chirped in.
"Hey, how about you stay with me and I can teach you?" He asked cheerfully. "And in return you can help me with building stuff. I really dig your craftsmanship."
"Really? Uncle Ne- I mean, my old guardian never really liked the whole labyrinth, traps and puzzles thing."
"Are you kidding? Your uncle's missing out." Replied Sandy cheerfully. "How long did it take you to make this?"
"A couple hours. I would've worked on it more, but you guys arrived before I could."
"Incredible!"
The compliment made Ai Lin blush. Her uncle's compliments were never this...much. It made her really think about Sandy's offer. It was an exchange. He gave her a house and helped her live in this world and in return she helps him with some stuff. Him asking for something made her feel better about the exchange, like it was less likely some deal with the devil. Plus, if they wanted to do something bad to her they would've done so already.
"Okay, I'll take your offer...mister...?"
"Call me Sandy." Said Sandy cheerfully before gesturing towards his friends. "They're Pigsy, Tang, MK and Mei."
"What's MK short for?" Asked Ai Lin curiously.
"Oh, it's pretty long. So I just go by MK, the Monkie kid!" Exclaimed MK cheerfully.
Ai Lin paused. "Are you related to the monkey king?" She asked narrowing her eyes. "Cause that guy made me experience my first near death experience at three days old."
MK did not know what to say to that.

I tried making her a coward who does great things BECAUSE they're a coward.
Tell me how I did. Leave a review.
Toodles.
