Midtown,Day

[Skipper's POV]

We explored Midtown searching for the next clue to the feather of the Crystal Falcon. Me,Kowalski,Marlene and Maurice were travelling via the car through the typically busy New York traffic whilst Rico took Fred flying the bi plane as Private took Julien and Mort on a makeshift hot air balloon while Julien kept complaining about Sad Eyes trying to touch his feet.

Kowalski was busy navigating us the way to the location whilst Rico was doing a security air sweep to make sure our relic hunter fox friend wasn't around or following us.

"Skipper I'm detecting readings from a construction yard not far from here." Kowalski informed me as the beeping from his scanner got louder.

"Rico, Private land at the construction yard. Be sure to be cautious and have weapons in case this is a trap. " I ordered to the walkie talkie whilst I was driving.

"Roger Skipper,"Private responded as we drove to the yard.

Shortly...

We were all at the construction site as I inspected the area with binoculars to make it wasn't a trap.

"So what are we supposed to find here? " Marlene asked.

"There's nothing here for confirmation that there is A-AAHHHHH! "

"MARLENE! " I shouted as we all looked at the spot where she fell to find out a hidden trapdoor in the yard.

"Wow, that's just great." She said sarcastically. We all jumped down to find a dark chamber as we all struggled to see where each of us were.

"Hey where's the lights... Who's that touching my feet!" Julien said as he panicked as Rico managed to find a torch and lit it.

The light of the fire filled the chamber as Mort who was now on Ringtail's feet as usual got kicked off into a wall.

"I'm okay!" Sad Eyes called.

We started our journey through the chamber to find more torches on the walls thus providing more light.

We walked through the halls to find strange symbols etched on the walls.

"Whoa." Kowalski said noticing the strange language rather than the drawings which were the squirrel symbols we encountered during our last Golden Squirrel adventure.

"Fred.," I said to the latter.

"What? Oh you want me to read them." He replied.

He took a deep breath and looked at the language.

"The explorers who come to seek answers from this chamber," Fred translated, " Beware of the challenge ahead."

"What challenge?" Maurice asked.

The next room illuminated to reveal three golden balls to set an explosion on a rock that was blocking the next path. It was connected by a sort of weird ancient weapon on the upper part of the chamber with statues of the Golden Squirrel on the left and right sides.

"Rico." I gestured to my demolition expert.

"You need to throw the ball to the rope holding the weapon with perfect accuracy." Kowalski said.

Rico then threw one of the balls into the rope which got cut off and the weapon fell to the ground which created an explosion blowing parts of the huge rock into pieces.

We immediately rushed into the next room which had little light aside from one torch and the exit on the roof.

On a pedestal was a book with an image of what I presume to be the Crystal Falcon.

"Yes! An ancient book! I guess this is the part of the adventure where one clue leads to the next." Ringtail said with an excited expression and tone in his voice.

Kowalski picked up the book and opened it to see most of the pages faded except for the first one.

"Interesting,To whoever found this book,one of the answers will be at East Asian District." It said.

"East Asian District...Isn't That Chinatown?" Marlene asked.

"Correct a mundo Marlene. Kowalski grab the book. Even though it's 108 years old, we might be able to get more information by recovering the rest of it. Now let's get out of here! " I said as all of us climbed the ladder. The car and our biplanes were waiting for us at the end of the chamber.

It's a good thing that Kowalski put an auto pilot system into them and set a destination in them.

We left the construction yard and headed for Chinatown not noticing that a certain fox was watching us from not very far.

[Sven's POV]

I observed the penguins, lemurs, squirrel and otter leaving for the next clue with high tech binoculars. It looks like where they were in a secret chamber where it was said that the lost book of the Crystal Falcon was. It was likely that they took it and went to Chinatown. But they won't evade me for longer.
