A prequel to my story "The Two Tiffanys", set 10 years after the end of "The Shepherds Crown." Everything belongs to the late great Sir Terry Pratchett.

Dr. Preston and his medical colleagues returned to The Chalk a month later for another two hectic days of medical treatment. Tiffany, Letitia and Sara helped to get the patients ready as before. Tiffany was incredibly busy as usual but she was incredibly busy with her Preston. For these two days the patients travelled to her, Tiffany's broomstick got a rest.
At the end of Preston's second medical visit Tiffany and Preston spoke to the Baron and Baroness.
Preston spoke first. "My lord Baron and my lady Baroness, thank you again for hosting my medical colleagues and for all your hard work assisting, it is always good to be back home on The Chalk. Tiffany has something to ask you."
"Roland and Letitia, Preston would like me to go to Ankh-Morpork and visit with his medical colleagues. He thinks we could learn from each other. If I were to go to Ankh-Morpork would you be able to act as my replacement witch for a couple of days?"
Letitia said "When do you plan to do this?"
"In two weeks time, Sara should be able to help, I will sort out the problem cases before I go."
"I have no problem."
Then Roland said "Me neither, who I am to deny Letitia and Tiffany."
Preston said "Thank you Sir Baron, now if you will excuse me I have a train to catch….."

Tiffany and Preston then got to see each other, with lots of patients, every 2 weeks. Preston would come to the medical clinic at Roland's Castle, then two weeks later Letitia would cover for Tiffany when she went to Ankh-Morpork.

Then six months later, when Tiffany was in Ankh-Morpork, Roland got a clacks message from the hospital.
"Tiffany delayed in A-M for one more day."
When Tiffany returned to The Chalk, one day later, she went to The Castle.
"Hello Letitia, I am back, thanks for covering for one more day."
"Is everything OK, we were worried about you."
"Everything is great, I got married to Preston yesterday…"
