My djinn looked at me, amused, as I stared slack-jawed, trying to comprehend what he had just confessed.
"So...you created the universe?" I was barely able to get the words out.
He shrugged as if it were some small feat, then replied simply, "I gave her what she wished for: a living creation where she could experience every place she could ever imagine." I caught him staring off into space, and then he finally continued, "you would not believe how vast her imagination." I watched as a slight grin crept across his lips, and it quickly spread across mine as well. I laid my head on his chest and wrapped my arm around him in anticipation of the extraordinary tale he was about to tell.
