The Message To Lisa
After she sent the message to Lisa, KC climbed into her bed and fell asleep.
The next morning at breakfast in the great hall, a Gryffindor first year walked up to Lisa on her way to her seat at the Gryffindor table.
"This is for you," the girl said. "from a Hufflepuff named uh... Katherine Clarisse Lenoir?"
The girl handed the envelope to Lisa.
"Thank you." Lisa said to the girl.
The girl went to her seat at the far end of the Gryffindor table.
"So, Lise," Stevie asked. "what's in that envelope?"
Lisa opened the envelope.
Lisa: Lisa;
Need to talk;
Something off with Professor Moody;
Meet at the training grounds tonight after dark;
Come alone;
KC.
"KC wants to meet with you after dark-alone?" Phil asked Lisa.
"That's right, Phil," Lisa answered. "I need to see why she needs me."
Professor Moody's mad eye locked onto Rafael.
"Careful, Lise," Rafael said. "Moody is watching us!"
"Great," Lisa grimaced. "that's all we need right now!"
"Why does KC want you to come alone?" Phil asked.
"Probably because one or two students are less likely to get caught than a whole group." Lisa replied.
"Be careful Lisa," Carole said as Moody's mad eye locked onto her next. "I'm beginning to think that KC is right."
Lisa studied the message again.
"I will be careful," Lisa said. "I promise."
"You had better be." Stevie warned Lisa.
That evening just before nightfall, Lisa was in Harry's dormitory bedroom.
"Harry," Lisa said. "I need to ask a favor of you."
