~Yuna

~April 25th, 2575

"Yuna! Yin! Hurry up or you'll be late for school!"

"I can't find my tie mum!"

"Where's my school jacket?!"

"Yuna, your tie is in the dryer and Yin your jacket is on the kitchen table!"

"Thanks mum!" "Thanks mum!"

Me and my twin responded at the same time from our rooms before I heard my brother scuffle downstairs for his school jacket.

I checked my fur in the mirror to make sure it was smoothed out and then I looked down at myself to see if my uniform was wrinkled. Thankfully I looked neat and headed to the laundry room to get my tie. I could still hear Yin yelling at mom that he was missing something else.

"Mum! Where's my anatomy book?! I need it for class today!"

"Did you check your desk?!"

"No I'll go look now!"

"For a Straight A student, you sure are forgetful little brother!"

"Shut it Yuna!"

I laughed to myself as I tied up my tie like a cute little ribbon and headed downstairs. My mum looked up from her records that she was filing last minute at the table and smiled at me.

By all accounts my mum was beautiful. She is a Sylveon and works at a counseling office for teenagers to talk to them and help them through their trauma. She is also one of the Four Champions of Kalos who helped defend it in the past, and is dutifully there whenever there is another big threat over to harm us all. She is married to Lord Silver, my dad also a Sylveon, who does the same thing along with their two childhood friends as the chosen Champions of the Kalos Region. He works as a teacher at my school, honestly I think it's to watch over me and my brother, and loves my mum to bits.

"Morning Yuna."

"Morning mum. Where's dad and Vivienne?"

"Your father already took her to school, seeing as how he doesn't her or himself to be late. I wish you and your brother would follow his example sometimes."

"Sorry mom. Yin just takes forever to get ready."

"I very much do not!"

Yin having heard what I said retorted as he came back down the steps with his anatomy book in his paws.

"You do too. You forgot your things twice already and I call in about 2 seconds you forgot something else too."

"I have not. I have my school jacket, my anatomy book and...argh what else am I forgetting?"

"You two stop fighting! You're going to late to school and I'm going to be late for work! Yuna grab your bag and Yin honey you can grab the thing you forgot later. Let me get you two to school!"

We listened to our mother and rushed out the door, herself right behind us and shut the door and locked it with a flick of her ribbons. She drove to school fast as usual and me and Yin held on in the back. In spite of her being in a hurry she looked back at us with a mother's fondness.

"Aww I can't believe my babies are already 16. I still remember when you two wouldn't stop crying at night, or when you asked me or your father to read you to bed."

"Mum we have been 16 for over a month already."

"I know. I just love all my children to death so much."

"Love you too mum."

"Love you mother."

She pulled up at the high-school entrance waving us goodbye only stopping my brother once to fix his tie with her outstretched ribbon. We waved goodbye before she took off speeding down the highway waving back at us very briefly.

"Hey Yuna! 'Bout time you got here slowpoke!"

I smiled as my best friends Luce, Pachi, & Mewthree walked over and we had our short girl bonding moment.

"Yuna is always running late."

"While I'm always first because I can literally teleport."

"Ugh, what I wouldn't give for that move for just one day so I can get to school on time."

"Really?"

"No not really. But it would be nice."

Luce is Ryu and Evelyn's daughter. She is one of the first miracle hatchlings to be conceived from two different Pokémon. She looks up to her mother a lot and she evolved into a Glaceon just like her. Her dad works in the police force and her mother is the school coach. They are also Champions like my parents or Sir Ryu & Lady Evelyn as Moogle calls it. Luce has a younger adopted brother named Ruth who is a Lucario, and she is a year older than me and my brother. My brother Yin and her totally like each other and neither of them has any idea about the others feelings. Yin is a Leafeon so although they are Polar, lol, opposites it's still so cute. Otp.

Pachi is a Pachirisu but we shorten out her name and she is a total sweetheart. She has more guys following her than you can count but she tells the squad that she is not interested in any guy unless they are being genuine. It gets her in trouble more times than not with their jealous girlfriends and I always tell her to be careful. She is also really smart like my brother's level of smart. She tutors students in her part time that need extra help or flunkers. She's about mine and Yin's age.

Finally Mewthree is the daughter of Mewtwo & Mew and they allow her to go to school with us. So technically she is a Princess of Destruction and is immortal like her parents but she just wants to enjoy her time with us like any other teenager. She also chooses not to be destructive like her father unless she absolutely has to. It is honorable for someone who is meant to be feared and destroy is so notable with not using her strength to define her. She's an admirable friend and the oldest of our group. Powerful but she holds back.

"Hi Yin."

I turned to see my brother shyly skulking away and freezing when Luce called after him.

"Hello Luce."

"Want to grab some pizza with us after school?"

"I would love to but I have exam to study for. Which you should be doing the same Yuna."

Honestly my brother cannot take a hint.

"Ugh I'm not a little dweeb like you. Besides I'll study later."

"Sure you will."

I had nothing to say back and was frustrated that he won this round and that he doesn't try to tell Luce about how he feels. I was so tempted to chase after him so he can walk next to Luce but was interrupted from my thoughts when I heard the last warning bell ring.

"Well let's go to class. This slowpoke is going to make us all late."

"Well we're going to be late if you just talk and I'm running to class!"

"Last one to class is an unhatched egg!"

Mewthree teleported to class and the three of us groaned as we rushed to try and be second to class.
