Okay just hand it to her Yin. It's not that difficult.

I looked at Luce sitting in the desk in front of me and my paws felt all sweaty as I held a note in my paw. To me she was the most beautiful girl in the world. I love her straightforwardness, her carefree attitude, and above all her smile. I've had a crush on her for as long as I could remember even when were both little Eevee's. Yuna always suspected I liked her and she is surprisingly more than okay with me and her together. Something about how we're otp or some kind of romantic shiitic like that.

She's been my sister's best friend for years would it be weird to just ask her out? Or worse does she even feel the same way? I began to wonder if I was making a mistake when she turned around much to my surprise.

"Hey Yin do you have a pencil?"

I froze on the spot when I realized how close she was to me. She blinked at me in confusion as I continued to stare at her. Arceus come on you pathetic mon! Say something! Quit staring at her like an idiot! Say anything!

Luce looked down at the note I held out in my paw and took it from me to read it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

The note said:

'Hey Luce, you want to get some icecream together afterschool? I think you're awesome and- '

I couldn't finish the rest. She read it and I swear I would loved to die in that moment. I sat there wondering if I blew any chances I had when she turned back around to hand the note back to me and whisper.

"I'd write a reply back but I don't have a pencil. But my answer is I would love to."

"Wha- Really?"

"Yin."

"Yes ma'am!"

I stood up so fast and yelled out loud that everyone in class started laughing. Luce looked like she wanted to laugh but held it back out of respect for me.

"What is the answer to this equation? Unless there are other things that are catching your attention?"

"No ma'am. I'll answer it now!"

I managed to answer it without any problems and didn't make myself look more like a total ass in front of Luce. After class was over though, I thought I might have actually blown with her but luckily I didn't.

"Hey Yin! Wait up!"

"Hi Luce."

"Hey. Wow, how you answered that equation back there even though the class was laughing at you must have been pretty embarrassing. But you handled it so well I thought it was pretty cool and mature of you."

"Yeah that's me cool and mature but shy and sometimes forgetful."

"You are pretty shy. Even the way you asked me to get ice cream with you was timid."

"I'm sorry about that Luce I really can't help it. It's always been a bad habit of mine."

"I thought it was really cute though."

I felt my face flush so pink at what I just heard Luce say. And inside I felt so immeasurably happy. She even brushed her paw against mine ever so slightly and if I had enough courage I would have held it back.

"So are we still on for ice cream?"

"Oh. Yeah yeah most definitely. Is 5 alright?"

"Okay! Seeya then cutie."

Luce said before blowing me a kiss and walking off as carefree and beautiful as always. I waited until she was out of earshot before I jumped up and shouted out of joy.

"She said 'She'd love to!' She said 'She'd love to!"

A couple of students stopped to stare at me in confusion and I realized I probably looked a little crazy right now. I regained my composure and waved a little fist enthusiastically and whispered a quiet yes before heading to my next class.

*9th period; Gym class

"Come on boys put your back into it!"

We all had to push a large punching bag 5 times around the basketball court before we were done for the day. I was kind of strong but look at me I looked like a twig. I'm going to be stuck here for a while just when I finally have a date with Luce this afternoon.

"Come on! Come on! Hurk!"

I'm barely at 3 rounds and school would be over in 2 minutes at 4:30. I was determined and I pushed harder than I ever had before. I was rounding a corner when I saw the soccer team step inside after a long day of practice and Vapor was with the group.

"Arceus you're girlfriend is smoking hot Vapor. How'd you get a girl like that?"

They we're talking about my sister. I pretended I hadn't heard them and kept pushing the punching bag to keep eavesdropping on them.

"Pretend to be what you're not and she believes everything you say. I swear I love the girls who are so gullible and easy to please. The desperate look is so laughable for that dumb little bimbo you might just call it love."

Vapor laughed at my sister's expense and they all laughed along with him.

"I'm only dating her because I pity her. If she wasn't attractive and so stupid I wouldn't be with her."

"My friend Yuna is not a dumb what you just said! She is confident, eager, and would most definitely be mad to hell about you if she knew the truth about you!"

I froze in surprise to see Pachi getting angry at Vapor for saying all that about Yuna. He looked at her with a smug smile and walked over to her.

"Oh yeah. She's going to get mad at me? Hahaha yeah right little squirrel. Whose she going to believe? Her lovable boyfriend or you a little b*tch who needs to learn to keep her scared little rabbit nose out of other people's business!"

He shoved her to the floor and I stopped my exercises to rush over and help her up.

"No you sorry prick. But she might believe her twin brother! So why don't you shut the f*ck up about my sister before I break your nose you judgemental, sorry excuse of shit, two faced, as*hole, misogynist, creep wad, SON OF A *#%&@!"

"You wanna to fight you little punk? Ha! Bring it!"

"HEY! What's going on?! Do we have a problem over here?!"

"No Coach Evelyn."

"Soccer kids! Get to your coach right now and leave my students alone! Students let the garbage take it's way out!"

Me and Pachi laughed as Vapor and his friends walked away glaring at us as Coach Evelyn stared them down with her arms crossed. Once they left the gym she dropped her mean side and walked over to us in concern.

"Are you two okay? I heard the last thing you said to the jerk Yin. Did those punks do something to Pachi?"

"They shoved me to the floor. Ma'am."

"I'm going to have a word with their coach. Nobody threatens my students. You're free to go for today if you two want."

"Thanks coach."

"Don't mention it. THE REST OF YOU HURRY UP OR WE'RE GOING TO BE HERE ALL NIGHT!"

We left to go change back into our uniforms before heading out from the school for today. Pachi hadn't said a word since it all happened and I was starting to get worried.

"Hey are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine. What that jerk did was uncalled for."

"He's an asshole and a creep you can say it!"

"I can't believe he said all those things about Yuna. She's my best friend. I couldn't stand there and say nothing."

"Believe me if you hadn't stepped in I would have been the one on the floor."

"How are we going to tell her about him though? She won't believe us without any proof about him."

"I know. She's hard to persuade but this is my sister we're talking about and she deserves better than him."

"If we can get something to pin against him and show Yuna then she will definitely dump him. We just have to wait for the right moment."

"Yeah. Don't worry I'll think of something. No one messes with my sister."

"Hear hear!"

"Hey Yin! Pachi!"

"Hey girl!"

They hugged briefly before getting into their talk as usual.

"You want to head to the arcade? Me and Yin found out something about Yuna's boyfriend that you are not going to believe!"

"I would love to but me and Yin already planned to get ice cream together."

"Together? Oh right right together. Why don't you go with Luce and we can talk about the thing concerning what's his face later? Okay Yin."

"Alright Pachi."

"See you two."

Pachi gave me a wink and I blushed as I looked at Luce.

"What was that about?"

"Tell you over icecream?"

"Sure let's go."
