You knock on the door to Arlecchino's personal quarters inside the Fatui Headquarters. You are a journalist reporting for a publishing house in Mondstadt. Lately, you have been perusing Lisa's archives to find an interesting person to write about. Earlier this morning, you stumbled upon a very old book that detailed the stories of an intriguing individual. The book recounted tales of her combat prowess and marked her as a "run-on-sight" level threat. Intrigued, you delved further into the book and discovered the address of the Fatui headquarters, leading you to this moment, standing before the doors of the renowned Knave of Heart, Arlecchino.
"So," she said, rising from the chair she had been sitting on, her gaze turning towards you. "To whom do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" Her annoyed expression suggested prior boredom.
"H-hello. I'm here to interview you about..." Your words falter as her piercing stare unnerves you, causing a noticeable stutter.
She cuts you off. "Please, sit down." She gestures to the chair in front of her, waiting for you to take a seat before speaking again. "As you can see, I have nothing to hide." She motions towards the chair. "Take the time to ask what you need to before I get bored and have you executed for wasting my time. I do have somewhere to be."
Taking a moment to observe her, you note her large cloak and ponder what may be concealed beneath it. "So, I wanted to ask you about your experiences in combat, particularly your time on the battlefield." With each passing moment in her presence, you grow more confident, finding solace in her silence. You retrieve your camera and notebook, containing a general list of questions you wish to ask.
She looks at the camera curiously, leaning to the side for a better view. After a moment, a small chuckle escapes her lips as she notices the notebook. "A camera and a notebook?" She resumes her original position and speaks again. "How quaint."
She smirks and chuckles lightly, her face brightening with a slight smile. Her eyes glint with amusement as you speak. Raising a finger, she signals for you to wait, then stands up from her chair and turns her back to you. Reaching inside her cloak, she withdraws a large sheathed dagger.
"Do you know why I carry this?" She approaches you, her cloak still draped around her as she offers the weapon for your examination.
She advanced upon you slowly, extending her arms towards you. "Because," she smirks, pulling out the dagger from its sheath with her right hand and presenting it to you, blade first. "I find it useful." With her other hand, she retrieves a second dagger and offers it to you in the same manner as the first. "Especially when I have to kill someone."
