Story so far from "Operation Chimera":

Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

a local, Boyd Brooks, sights a falling meteorite and follows it to its crash site.

The crash site reveals the meteorite was a Space Capsule from Soviet Union era.

Brooks loaded it onto his truck and brought it back to his garage in his salvage yard.

But that was the beginning of the nightmare.

Three days later, Truth or Consequences is under quarantine. Several members of its populace are dying from a mysterious virus. Boyd later shows up at the Sierra County Hospital, his body covered in red spikes, and eyes now turned red.

It was revealed he was sought to sell the capsule by posting it online but unknowingly became the first to be infected by the parasite.

It was at this time that those infected by the parasite began to be known as "Roaches".

A week later, the parasite infected the majority of the town's population though government officials were able to successfully contain it for the time being. At the same time, Rainbow Operator Eliza "Ash" Cohen arrives at the now ravaged town, the National Guard holding position against the virus. After assessing the situation, she asks Director of Team RAINBOW Dr. Harishva "Harry" Pandey codenamed "Six" to allow Team Rainbow to engage the threat and requests additional support from other Operators to assist in controlling the pandemic.

Rainbow was later ordered to enter the town to help prevent the government from using a nuclear weapon to stop the parasite.

While Rainbow was unable to stop the town's destruction, they were able to rescue Dr. Ellen Mackintosh who had been working on a possible cure after taking blood samples from Boyd.

Chapter 1 - The Origins

Day 14 since the outbreak

Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

National Guards Perimeter, Team Rainbow briefing tent.

The wind rustling through the night and slight tremor that caused by passing Vehicles can be felt. Inside the tent there was Eliza "Ash" Cohen, the Forward Operation Leader of Team Rainbow. Ash is communicating with Dr. Ellen Mackintosh, Chief of Radiation oncology at Sierra County Hospital, through laptop facecam

Ash: So Doctor Macintosh, how the progress for the cure?

Ellen Mackintosh: Well, rather than the progress how about I tell you the result

Ash: that was fast? Alright, tell me

Ellen Mackintosh: well we have good news and bad news, the good news is our prototype cure works against the virus

Ash: So what's the bad news?

Ellen Mackintosh: the bad news is the cure doesn't work with crystal mutation

Ash: Thanks, Doc.

Ash close the communication. After hearing that, Ash starting giving a look of frustration on her face, her shoulder tense and her fists are clenched before finally

Ash: (sighs) ... Dammit. (punches the table)

Mira: Woah, easy there Miss KickInTheDoor.

Ash: Elena...

Mira: Hey, we know we need to put an end to this parasite, but you have to keep calm. The cure won't be ready in the blink of an eye.

Ash: I'm calm, I just... (sighs) A whole city in New Mexico was wiped out because of this parasite.

Mira: We can't change what happened, but we can change what comes next. Remember, we're Team Rainbow. We find solutions, no matter the odds.

Ash: You're right. We need to stay focused on stopping this threat for good.

Mira: That's the spirit. So, what's our next mission?

Ash then turn on the projector and showing the image of giant black crystal cluster rising up.

Ash: we found this Crystal cluster outside of city but it still within perimeter. By analyzing the trajectory of capsule crash, this would be where it was landed. It seems some remains of Crystal shard was left there and metasizes to… this

Mira: mierda! That huge!

Ash: our mission is to investigate the crash site, there's kind of activity on that place, we also picking up unidentified signature from that place. and this time it will be a joint operation with the Officials

Mira: with US military?

Ash nodded

Together, they form an unstoppable force, prepared to plunge into the heart of the crash site and uncover the secrets it holds.

As the team gathered, Ash's gaze swept across her comrades, filled with determination.

Ash: "Alright, listen up, everyone. We're about to enter uncharted territory. We're dealing with an unidentified energy signature emanating from this crystal cluster. We don't know what we'll find, but our mission is to investigate, gather intel, and neutralize any threats. Stay vigilant and watch each other's backs. This is what we're trained for."

The team nodded in unison, their expressions focused and resolute. They understood the gravity of the situation and the importance of their mission.

Ash: "Thermite, I need you to breach the outer layer of the crystal cluster. We need to gain access to its core. Doc, you're on standby for any medical emergencies. Tachanka, Lion, and Finka, provide cover and support as we advance. Deadeye, I want you to take up a sniper position and provide overwatch."

Deadeye acknowledged the order with a silent nod, adjusting his equipment and mentally preparing himself for the task ahead.

Ash: "Remember, communication is key. Keep your lines open and report any anomalies or discoveries immediately. We're going in, and we're coming out with answers."

With a final glance of determination, the team moved forward, their footsteps muffled by the desolate terrain. The giant black crystal cluster loomed before them, radiating an otherworldly aura as they ventured deeper into the heart of the crash site.

Deadeye positioned himself on a vantage point, his keen eyes scanning the surroundings through the scope of his Mk13 sniper rifle. He observed the team's progress, ready to eliminate any hostiles that might threaten their mission as they approached the core of the crystal cluster,

Ash: "Keep your guard up, everyone. Stay alert and be prepared for anything."

The team pressed forward, their resolve unshaken. Each step brought them closer to the truth, closer to unraveling the mystery behind the parasite.

Ash: "This R6 Actual, we're going in"

Team Rainbow and their allies advanced, determined to overcome the challenges that lay before them and uncover the secrets that awaited within the depths of the crystal cluster.

As the team pressed forward, a low growl echoed through the air. From the shadows emerged a pack of infected dogs, their eyes glowing with a sickly red hue. The crystal's allure had drawn them in, turning them into aggressive and feral creatures.

Ash: "Contact!"

The team quickly adjusted their tactics, engaging the infected dogs with precision and efficiency. Thermite's breaching skills were put to the test as he not only had to deal with the crystal cluster but also fend off the relentless attacks of the mutated canines.

Deadeye's sniper rifle cracked through the air, each shot finding its mark and neutralizing the advancing threats. Lion's EE-ONE-D provided valuable intel, scanning the battlefield and highlighting the movements of the infected dogs, allowing the team to strategize and adapt.

Together, Team Rainbow and their allies fought off the infected dogs, pushing deeper into the heart of the crystal cluster.

As they approached the core of the crystal cluster, Thermite swiftly placed the Nanothermite Charge, initiating the countdown. Suddenly, the ground beneath them trembled, and a massive creature emerged from the depths of the crystal cluster. It was a hulking monstrosity with razor-sharp claws and an imposing presence.

Ash: "Brace yourselves!"

The creature let out a bone-chilling roar, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly intensity. Tachanka stepped forward, anchoring himself with his RP-46 machine gun.

Tachanka: "I'll bring that beast down!"

Tachanka aimed his weapon at the creature, unleashing a torrent of firepower. But the creature charged towards him with incredible speed, crashing into the machine gun and breaking its tripod.

Ash, seizing the opportunity, assessed the situation and knew she needed a decisive move. With unwavering focus, she maintained her grip on her primary weapon, the Remington R4-C rifle, and took a step back, creating some distance between herself and the creature.

Tachanka, still recovering from the failed attempt to bring down the creature, struggled to regain his footing. Ash swiftly analyzed the situation and made a split-second decision.

Ash: "Tachanka, fall back! Doc, Finka, get Tachanka out of there!"

Doc and Finka rushed to Tachanka's aid, providing medical support and helping him retreat to a safer position. As they did, a combat drone, controlled by Mira, whizzed into the scene.

Doc: "Come on, Tachanka, we've got to get you out of here!"

Tachanka, shaken but determined, nodded gratefully.

Mira(Radio) : "I've got your back!"

The combat drone hovered above the creature, firing its weapon systems, distracting it and drawing its attention away from Tachanka.

With the creature momentarily preoccupied, Ash saw her chance to strike. She raised her Remington R4-C and fired precise shots at the exposed weak points of the creature. Each bullet found its mark, causing the creature to howl in pain and frustration.

Seizing the moment, Ash swiftly snatched up her grenade launcher

With unwavering focus, Ash aimed for the creature's massive form. In a calculated move, she squeezed the trigger, sending a single round from her M120 CREM hurtling toward the creature. The Breaching Round drilled through the air with incredible speed, penetrating the creature's body with precision.

The round struck its mark, burrowing deep into the creature's flesh. Moments later, a powerful explosion erupted from within, obliterating the creature's insides. The force of the blast tore the creature apart, scattering its remains across the surrounding area. Shards of crystal and fragments of flesh rained down, a testament to the devastating power unleashed by Ash's shot.

The ground trembled beneath the shockwave, echoing the final moments of the creature's existence. Ash's teammates watched in awe and relief as the once imposing threat was reduced to a lifeless mass. The danger had been neutralized, but the remnants of the creature served as a grim reminder of the intense battle they had just endured.

Amidst the aftermath, Ash lowered her weapon, her face marked with a mixture of exhaustion and satisfaction. The explosive might of the M120 CREM had shattered the creature from within, leaving no doubt of its demise. The mission had been a success, and they could now focus on the mysteries that awaited them within the core of the crystal cluster.

The team stood in awe as they beheld the sight before them—an enormous crystal cluster pulsating with a mysterious and otherworldly energy. It loomed like an ancient monolith, its surface shimmering with vibrant hues that seemed to defy the laws of nature. The air crackled with a palpable sense of anticipation and wonder.

Ash's eyes widened, her gaze fixed upon the mesmerizing spectacle. The crystal cluster exuded an aura of power and enigma, captivating the senses of all who beheld it. She turned to her team, their expressions mirroring a mix of excitement, awe, and trepidation.

Several members of the team positioned themselves strategically around the area, ensuring the safety of the operation. Mira, stationed at a remote location, controlled a UCAV (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle), its camera feed providing a bird's-eye view of the scene. She analyzed the data with unwavering focus, relaying any pertinent information to the team.

Time seemed to slow as the team's gaze remained fixed on the enigmatic phenomenon. They marveled at the pulsating colors and the sheer magnitude of the crystal cluster, its presence dwarfing them in the face of the cosmic mysteries it held.

This is may just one chapter, but to me this is a lot, Operation Originium Dust really became my inspiration for to write this fanfic, you should also check OPERACION:ARKNIGHTS by Orlando, it's in Spanish but the grammar are good, so good to the point, it has very few error on Google translate, I'm highly recommend it.

For Tom Clancy's games elements that will be revealed in this Fanfic

- Rainbow 6 Siege content limited to Year 6 and prior, plus Rainbow 6 Extraction.

- Ghost Recon, will have 2 team, Hunter from Future Soldier and Greenstone from Breakpoint.

- Splinter Cell, I have nothing to say other than Sam Fisher and 4th Echelon would act.

- others like HAWX, the Division, and Endwar may act as cameo

As for Earthling VS Terran, I decided not using large fish examples like Orlando did, because power scaling is useless, having OP characters is too stupid, I'm also will not touching any Eldritch Demon lore like he did, like a Latin catchphrase said "Quod Erat Demonstradum" "which was to be demonstrated", if we barely know about it I won't bother.

As for the enemies Team Rainbow was facing, I called it Hell Hounds, essentially infected dogs, while the big one that broke Tachanka LMG tripod, I named it Garmr as the boss type enemy. Haha

So, see you in next chapter
