4:00 PM, 23rd march 18XX
(Authors Note: this is my first fanfic so i may Not have the best writing possible, please leave reviews. also sorry if it starts off to slow am planning to make sure some cool political drama with many chapters so things will get interesting as we go on).
We see two people walking towards the capital and the Imperial palace.
"Oh man, I can't Believe I'm going to the Imperial Capital." I thought to myself as I thought about
that excitedly. Then my long time friend of mine and Minister Of Defense said to me "don't get carried away Kato, I know you are excited but try to clear your mind a bit".
"You're right, I should probably do that Oda orelse i will look like a nobody who is 8 years old." "Well you are 8 technically but i more of consider you mentally to be like 30, around my Physical age if you ask me"
"I guess you can say that, i do know a lot more things than an 8 year old will know Right
Now," "Well you may be strong and smart but you still got your weakness you know"
"I Know But I Think One Day I Will Do Great Things"
"Welp i guess we should continue walking, if we talk for too long we might not make it there you know."
A few minutes later, Oda and Kato arrive at the capital
"Hello there Kato and Oda, I have been waiting for your arrival for quite a bit" now the emperor said to me and Oda
"Well hello to you too Makoto, anyways let's get straight to business, what have you invited into here for sir" I say back to him
Then minister Honest began to speak for him
"Well well well, I have some news to bring you from the emperor himself, due to the sacking of our previous economic minister he has decided to appoint you as the new economic minister. Explaining your reasoning your highness"
"Well minister you see, Kato has been my childhood friend ever since i was 3, he Also Knows quite a bit about economics so why not appoint him as economic minister. Did we do the right thing minister" "Oh yes we did your highness, Kato shall bring glory to our economy"
As soon as he said that, I jumped in joy and was happy about my new position but I quickly became calm and asked "so uh, what's my first job?!" The emperor answered my question and said "there is a room we have just for you" then the minister took me to a room. It had a desk with some files on it, a lamp on that desk, some other lights, and one poster showing imperial propaganda and the room seemed bland overall in general. "How do you think of it" he said to me as he laughed a bit and ate some more meat he had in his hand "it's perfect for doing work but its bland and where do i even sleep" i told him "well if it's bland cause the previous guy moved all of his stuff out, you can move your stuff here make it more homey. As for bedrooms. We will give you one at night. It will be a separate room though" i then sat down at the chair and looked at the files. It seemed to be stuff about road repair and shit like that. "Well I'll leave you to work, make me proud" the minister said in a deep serious semi threatening voice as he continued to chomp down on the meat he was holding in his hand right now.
A few hours later
"Welp all my work is finally done" Then I stretch my arms up "Ahhhhhh, nice to get a day's worth of work done" then as if perfectly timed I hear a knock on my door. I open the door and it's Oda. "Hey there Oda, how have you been doing today?" "I am doing fine" Oda responds back to me "Welp, what did you come here for?!" "I Came to ask you about something. It's related to policy ""well then that is it then" i asked him. Oda replied by saying "it about a Potential new force to stop night raid" "what the fuck do i have to do with these bandits Oda?!" "well 2 reasons, first i want some advice on it form you, second you need to approve budget for this'' Then I And Oda Sat together at my desk with many documents as we talked for a bit and looked at the information on there "so what advice do you need Oda" "well i just need some advice on how this group will stop Night Raid or will limit its influence" "well i have an idea for you, the group can try to spread propaganda against them and if they do face off with night raid or any protests they can try to calm them down via water guns, and together peacefully very non violent ways or if they do involve violence, a very little amount of it" "ugh Kato, i knew you were always like this with your "perfect society" where everyone is happy and no one owns anything, I but we can't apply this dream right now. Not when there's resistance against the minister right now." "You're still going to propose my idea, right?1" "Of Course I will but it's likely to be vetoed by the emperor and the Minister" "god fucking dammit. That Goddamn minister" "Ahem.. Anyways as for the budget, how much money are we spending here, we are in a 40M surplus rn" "i think we will invest 20M into it sir" "alright then Kato, you sure about this" i then told him i was sure about it before he picked up the documents and left the room. Then soon after the minister led me to my bed as I fell asleep waiting for the next day as I dreamed about one day leading a Utopia under right winged scientific materialism, a society in which everyone is happy, a society in Which everyone has a purpose no matter how little or big it really is, a society in which scientifically everyone is truly happy.
