The sounds of fists banging against The Marsh House door rang out, filling up the eerie silence except for the now quiet weeping of Clementine. Logan and Amy looked at each other, unsure of what they were going to do. Logan crouched down and looked towards Clementine.

"Hey trust me, Lee's one tough son of a gun, he'll be alright." Logan said as he tried to reaffirm Clementine. Though, Logan was quite unsure himself. Logan stood back up and walked to the right side of the entrance door, peeking through one of the window curtains. The streets were still filled with walkers and he could not see Lee anywhere in sight. Logan threw the curtain back in anger, something he normally wouldn't do.

Amy walked up to Logan as she glanced outside of the window herself.

"We could... we could just wait for the walkers to clear out a bit, then we can pull in one, kill it, and then we use its guts to get out of here?"

Logan nodded his head but also looked unsure about the idea. He crossed his arms and glanced towards Clementine, she still sat on the ground with tears in her eyes. She hadn't said a word the entire time. Logan looked back up towards Amy, slightly raising up his eyebrow.

"There's no way this place is completely clear. We open up that door, we're taking a huge damn risk. I say we look for a walker inside of here, kill em' then we head back outside. We'll head back towards the train, wait for a day or so and well hopefully..." Logan glanced towards the ground as his face winced in a slight bout of sadness.

"Hopefully, Lee shows up." Amy shook her head in agreement with Logan. Logan walked back to Clementine and crouched down once more. He placed his hand gently onto her shoulder.

"Clementine, we gotta go now sweetie." Clementine nodded her head but still refused to say anything. She stood up slowly with her shoulders drug down further then they would normally be. She still had tears in her eyes as she began to walk with Logan. They started to walk towards a hallway of The Marsh House where the rooms were situated. They turned a corner into a rather long hallway as the sights of door filled up the left and right sides of them.

Logan and Amy took charge looking for any possible walkers in the hallway. They kept an ear out for any sounds emitted from the inside of the rooms. Clementine lagged a bit behind them, but she eventually picked up her pace. Logan walked towards one of the doors on the left side and let his ear press up against the door. Logan was just about to walk away before he heard a noise inside. He gestured his finger up as he pointed towards the door.

Amy walked up across from Logan, taking the other side of the door. Clementine stood behind Logan. Logan took a breath before he began to slowly turn the door knob. It silently creaked open as Logan took out a knife from one of his holsters. Through the door crack, the view of the room emerged. It was rather dark but was just light enough to be able to see something.

Logan slowly walked inside of the room with Amy and Clementine following behind him. He didn't see anyone inside, that was before he felt something smash against his head. Everything went black for a couple seconds before Logan opened his eyes, he was on the floor and as he looked towards the two chairs in the room, sound had eventually returned to him. He heard Amy yell out, and as he sat up, he noticed that Amy was being attacked by a man in a brown jacket. He began to stand up as he heard a gunshot ring out. Amy yelped out in pain as she collapsed into the wall behind her. Logan reached for his gun to take it out of the holster, but all that he had grasped at was air. His gun was missing, must of been taken out of his holster.

Logan looked up towards the man who had now started to aim his gun towards Logan. He rushed forward to the man before another gun shot rang out. Logan jumped back as a bullet went through the man's forehead. A loud thud rang throughout the room as the man dropped to the floor. Logan turned around quickly to be met with the sight of Clementine. She held his gun with two hands, still pointing in the direction of the dead man. Her eyes began to tear up again as she let the gun fall down.

Logan approached Clementine slowly, as she held out the gun towards him. She let the gun fall out of her grasp as Logan took the handgun and slid it back into his holster. Logan crouched down and gave a tight hug to Clementine.

"I'm so sorry sweetie." Logan said to Clementine, releasing his grip from her. His face looked ripe with sadness, something that he had never once shown before. Logan stood back up and looked towards Amy. Her body had now slumped forwards with a blood pool beneath her. Logan's face winced as he started to approach Amy's dead body. He stopped in front off her corpse, realizing what he must do.

"Clementine... we gotta wait for her to turn. It's our only chance out of here." Logan said with a slight stutter in his voice. He felt guilty for doing this to Amy, who was just a kid to him. Clementine nodded as she approached Logan. She stepped forwards to the dead body and loomed over it, her eyebrows winced as she glanced away from the corpse. Logan slid out his knife from the holster and grasped it tightly. After around ten minutes, a few noises started to slip out of Amy's mouth as her corpse began to jitter a bit.

Logan held the knife into the air as she had begun to fully move around. Logan slowly jammed the knife into Amy's skull. She dropped dead to the ground for the second time and Logan flipped her onto her back. He dug the knife into her stomach, ripping it in half slowly. Clementine crouched down near Logan and winced her eyebrows at the sight. Logan rubbed the blood off of his knife onto his pants before digging his hands into the corpse.

He pulled out a big gathering of guts and blood and began to rub it onto Clementine. The blood replaced the old blood that had now dried onto her clothes. Clementine glanced towards the ground with a look of disgust. Logan got another hand full of the walker's blood and rubbed it onto Clementine, filling the rest of her clothes. He then dug back in for another handful. Logan finished by rubbing himself down in the guts and blood.

The pair began to make their way back to the entrance of The Marsh House. Logan and Clementine both took a deep breath before Logan slowly opened the entrance door. Walkers had instantly started to walk inside of The Marsh House, luckily ignoring Logan and Clementine. Logan held onto Clementine's hand as they began to make their way back the way that they had came. Clementine looked around the horde, looking for any sign of Lee.

Her face winced as she only saw walkers on every corner of the street, more tears quelled up in her eyes as they began to get out of the hordes. They passed by the now devoured corpse of James, it was only slightly recognizable by this point. Logan turned onto the street from which they had walked into the horde from, heading back towards the direction of the train. The pair had kept walking for around thirty minutes before they had eventually spotted the train looming in the distance.

Logan and Clementine climbed up the ladder of the train and then entered into the cockpit. Logan let Clementine sit in the driver's chair as he stood on his sore legs. Logan took a seat behind the chair as he faced the wall of the cockpit. He let his head rest back as he let out a deep sigh. Clementine looked down towards Logan, spinning her chair to the direction of him.

She looked at him with sad eyes, as her lips quivered a bit.

"I really hope Lee comes back..." She said as she looked towards the ground, another tear quelling up in her eye. Logan had the same sorrowful look on his face as he responded to Clementine.

"I hope so too, sweetie." Logan said as he tried to be somewhat reaffirming. Deep down, Logan had a bad feeling that Lee would not return. And as the hours past, his suspicion became more and more true. Clementine had now fell asleep, but Logan still lied awake. It had now been around a day or so since they had gotten back to the train. Logan stood up and stretched his arms out, walking towards the left side window of the cockpit.

He saw no sight of Lee, or anyone for that matter. A feeling that Logan could only describe as a brick in his stomach had lingered for the past hours, and it only got worse when he realized that they would have to leave Savannah... without Lee. Logan looked over to Clementine with a look of pain on his face, he knew that he would have to start the train, but he felt that Clementine wouldn't want to leave if he woke her up. Logan silently creeped over the chair and pressed the button to start the train as he put the gear into reverse.

The train roared as it started back up, it began to speed backwards in the other direction as a loud metal creak rang out. Logan stepped back from the chair, Clementine had not moved a muscle, she was out cold. Logan felt guilty, but felt that it was the only way he could get them to safety. Logan sat back down onto the train floor and let his head rest against the wall. His eyes felt heavier and heavier as the train continued to roar, and eventually, he gave up on trying to stay awake.

Logan awoke later to the feeling of someone tugging onto him. As his eyes raised open, he saw Clementine in front of him with an very angry look on her face, tears fell down the sides of her cheeks as she looked at Logan. She stood up and yelled at him.

"WHY DID WE LEAVE? LEE IS STILL THERE!" She screamed out at him before she bursted out into more tears. Logan stood up as he tried to comfort Clementine, however she did not want any of it. Logan frowned and winced his face, he wanted to be honest with her.

"I'm so sorry, Clementine. I just, I had to get you back to the one place that's safe. Lee would of wanted that... we don't know if he's alive Clementine, we had to go." Clementine turned her back towards Logan as she shook her hear slowly. Logan looked outside of the window and noticed that they must have now arrived in Macon. As Logan stepped out onto the catwalk of the train, he eventually noticed the road with the SUV on it.

Logan stepped back inside and turned the train off, as Clementine looked towards him. Logan walked towards her slowly and stopped.

"Time to go back home, Clementine..." Clementine nodded as she followed Logan out of the train. The two got into the truck as Clementine sat on the passenger side. Logan took out the keys that Lee had hid under the driver's seat and plugged them into the ignition. The SUV started up with a roar. Logan smirked a bit, knowing that they would at least get home safely. Logan looked over to Clementine, she had her arms crossed and had not even bothered to put on the seatbelt.

"Hey, put on your seatbelt! A tough little girl like you don't need to be taken out by a damn car accident." Logan yappered out as he tried to lighten the mood a bit. Clementine looked towards Logan and smirked a bit. Her smile slowly faded away as she looked back towards the ground, but she had put her seatbelt on. Logan put the car in drive and turned it around back towards the way of the community. What a shitty day, Logan thought to himself...

After a bit of driving, the gates of the community had eventually came into view once more, a glorious sight. Logan drove up to the gate as he waited for someone to open it. But... no one did. Logan stepped out of the car and yelled out up towards the guard tower, as he put his hands over his mouth.

"HEY! OPEN UP! IT'S LOGAN!" He yelled out, and eventually he heard running on the other side of the gate as it creaked open. Logan stepped back into the car and drove in as it was opened. Logan stopped shortly after the gate, before instantly being greeted by one of the guard tower workers. He had a scared look on his face as he pointed down the road of the community. Logan rolled down the window as he looked at the stranger with a curious look.

"VERNON IS BEING ATTACKED, WE NEED YOUR HELP LOGAN!" Logan nodded before stepping out of the car quickly, Clementine followed after him but lagged behind. Not far up the road Logan noticed a group of people standing around something. Logan budged his way through the crowd, and as he approached closer to the center, he noticed Vernon and Shane. Shane was on top of Vernon, strangling him almost to death. Logan approached quickly and kicked Shane off of Vernon.

Shane rose to his feet quickly, with Shane's grip on Vernon released, Vernon gasped out for air as he rolled over. Shane looked at Logan with an angry look on his face, almost as he was not happy that he had returned.

"WHY YOU SAVIN' THAT SON OF A BITCH, THIS PLACE NEEDS SOMEONE WHO CAN ACTUALLY LEAD IT, NOT SOME STUPID SON OF A BITCH LIKE HIM!" Shane yelled out.

Logan looked at Shane angrily as he clenched his fists. Now he knew what Shane had in mind when he had said he wanted to stay here. Although he couldn't understand how Shane could even be acting like this... He was a hothead for sure, but this was crossing the line.

Logan approached Shane as he began to raise his fists, and some of the crowd cheered at the sight of the upcoming fight. Shane quickly pulled out a pistol and aimed at Logan. He jumped back in shock and surprise, not thinking that Shane would do such a thing.

Logan reached for his own handgun before Shane ran up to Vernon, who still laid on the ground. He pulled the trigger and put a bullet through Vernon's head. The surrounding crowd had screamed before they had started to back away from Shane. Multiple people yelled out in anger at Logan.

"STOP THAT BASTARD!"

Logan still held onto his holster as he looked at Vernon's corpse with shock, he looked back up at Shane as the two locked eyes. Logan pulled out his gun but didn't aim it at Shane. He looked at Shane angrily.

"SHANE, DON'T MAKE ME FUCKING DO THIS DAMMIT" Logan yelled out. Shane began to pull his gun up towards Logan, before the sound of another gunshot rang out from behind Logan. All of the sudden a bullet had pierced through Shane's shoulder. Shane quickly dropped his gun and yelled out in pain. He looked towards the crowd who had now moved out of the way, revealing Clementine with a pistol in her hands.

Logan glanced back towards Clementine with a look of shock. While Logan was distracted, Shane threw out a punch with his non-injured arm to Logan's jaw, temporarily stunning him. Shane began to bolt for it in the opposite direction. When Logan looked back over to retaliate, Shane was gone. Logan yelled out with a blast of fury in the direction of Shane.

"YOU FUCKING PUSSY BITCH!" Logan yelled out as he gasped for a breath. He let his hands rest on his knees as he bent over. He glanced over his shoulder to Clementine, who had now slowly walked towards him. Logan smirked a bit at Clementine. One of the people from the crowd had walked over to Logan. He asked Logan with a curious look on his face.

"Where's Lee? With... uh- Vernon dead, I think he should take charge of this place." Logan glanced towards the ground as he sighed. He looked back up to the man with a look of sorrow in his eyes.

"Lee... he ain't alive..."

The man looked shocked from his words, before offering another suggestion.

"How about you then?"
