"So this is Snowpoint City?" Coordinator Ash said as Altaria came in for a landing with him and Arceus.
"Yes Bow Tie, this is the northernmost city in all of Sinnoh, and the location of the Icicle Plate, and an old friend of mine." Arceus said.
"You know you can just call me Ash, there's no need for the nickname when it's just one of us." Coordinator Ash said.
"My apologies." Arceus said. "This has been a trying time for me."
"I get it, so this Icicle Plate, do we have any idea where it might exactly be?" Coordinator Ash asked.
"With the history of the other plates, we would see signs of the element surrounding the immediate area of the holder of the plate, and with this being the Icicle Plate it is related to the ice type." Arceus said.
"So we're looking for snow and ice in a city called SNOWpoint." Coordinator Ash emphasized.
"I understand your point, but the effects would be more intense than anywhere else." Arceus said.
"Arceus." Coordinator Ash said.
"Yes Bow Tie?" Arceus asked.
"WE'RE IN A BLIZZARD!" Coordinator Ash screamed. "Groudon, please tell me you're sensing something in the ground?"
"APOLOGIES BOW TIE BUT I'M NOT CERTAIN WHERE TO SEARCH!" The Primal Force exclaimed.
"NOT YOU TOO! NO ONE ELSE CAN EVEN HEAR YOU! YOU DON'T NEED TO USE THE NICKNAME!" Coordinator Ash groaned. "Alright, first thing I need is to get warm. Typhlosion I need your help! Altaria return!"
Typhlosion popped out of his Pokeball warming up the immediate area and allowing the group to relax for a moment.
"Let's head for the city, maybe we can ask around if anyone's seen anything." Coordinator Ash said.
"WONDERFUL IDEA BOW TIE!" The Primal Force cheered, chuckling at the nickname.
At the Snowpoint City Pokemon Center
"Alright, sounds like the gym leader has been acting strange and hid herself in the temple at the northern end of the city." Coordinator Ash said, sitting down at the table across from Arceus.
"So why aren't we going that way?" Arceus asked impatiently.
"Give me a minute, I didn't exactly dress for this cold of weather." Coordinator Ash pointed out.
"Here you are, we have these in plenty for any visitors." A Nurse Joy said, holding out two blue coats.
"That's actually really helpful, thank you." Coordinator Ash said.
"Well, how about we head out then." Arceus mused, grabbing a coat.
"Wait, do you even need a coat?" Coordinator Ash asked.
"No, but we were given two, and I wanted to be polite." Arceus said.
"Fair enough." Coordinator Ash said, following Arceus out.
Just outside the Snowpoint Temple's Tower
"Hmm, this could be problematic." Arceus said, seeing the block of ice in the doorway.
"Not a problem. Altaria use Heat Wave!" Coordinator Ash called out.
Altaria sent a pulse of heat from her wings, melting a way through the ice to allow them in.
"Yeah, this is definitely the place." Coordinator Ash said, stepping inside the completely frozen temple.
"GET OUT!" A woman's voice screeched as she flew in, an icy wind keeping her up.
"NOT HAPPENING!" Ark shouted back.
"Abomasnow come out and use Ice Punch!"
"Wrong type matchup! Altaria use Mirror Move!"
Altaria created her own Ice Punch, confusing the Abomasnow long enough for Coordinator Ash to switch to someone else.
"Alright then Typhlosion let's go! Use Flamethrower!"
Typhlosion popped out of his Pokeball unleashing a stream of flames that pushed back the Abomasnow.
"Abomasnow use Aurora Veil!"
The arena was filled with a strange wave of colors, making it harder to keep track of Abomasnow.
"Alright then, Typhlosion use Eruption!"
"Abomasnow use Earthquake!"
"Careful there Bow Tie." The Primal Force said, lifting Coordinator Ash, Pikachu, and Arceus into the air with his tendrils.
"Really gotta stop calling me that." Coordinator Ash groaned.
As the ground of the temple shook, flames shot out from Typhlosion back with immense energy, melting away the Abomasnow.
"Is that supposed to happen?" Coordinator Ash asked.
"Yes, that is normal for this to happen." Arceus said calmly.
"Okay then." Coordinator Ash said.
"Mamoswine rise up from the ice!" The woman called out.
"Typhlosion use Brick Break!"
"Mamoswine use Stone Edge!"
Typhlosion raced forward, breaking through rock after rock as he grew ever closer to Mamoswine before being launched into the air by a stone from below.
"Typhlosion return!" Coordinator Ash called out. "Come on out Sneasel, use Metal Claw!"
"Mamoswine use Stone Edge!"
Sneasel used the icy floor to his advantage, sliding across the ice before slashing at Mamoswine with a spin, causing the mammoth Pokemon to stumble backwards.
"Sneasel use Ice Shard and Metal Claw!"
"Now whats his plan here?" Arceus wondered.
In one claw Sneasel formed an ice shard before launching it up into the air, slicing it into splinters with his other claw before launching them at the Mamoswine, cutting the large Pokemon several times.
"You don't happen to have something as rough as Typhlosion but can keep up like Sneasel does?" Arceus asked.
"I do, but he's a little new." Coordinator Ash said. "Alright Cranidos help out with Headbutt!"
A Cranidos rushed out of the Pokeball, flipping over some ice with a smirk as he launched into Mamoswine's head, slamming it into the ground and shattering the mammoth into icy shards.
"Froslass deep freeze them!" The woman exclaimed.
"Sneasel use Thief! Cranidos use Pursuit!"
The two Pokemon leapt at Froslass from either side, pushing it up from the force between their two attacks.
"Froslass use Shadow Ball!"
"Cranidos use Pursuit! Sneasel use Metal Claw!"
Cranidos pushed through the shadow ball before slamming into Froslass, then allowing Sneasel to strike the ice and ghost type.
"Alright Pikachu, let's end this with style! Use Shock Wave!"
"Frosslass use Aurora Veil and Double Team!"
The arena around Froslass became obscured as more and more of them were appearing in the sky, making it impossible to keep track of. Pikachu was then tossed forward with the assistance of Cranidos and Sneasel, sending out a pulse of electricity through each of the ghosts, causing them to disappear one by one until a plate fell from one.
"ALLOW ME BOWTIE!" The Primal Force declared, sending out a set of tendrils that wrapped around the plate, catching it before it fell.
"Be careful Bow Tie, that plate can corrupt even the strongest of humans." Arceus said, as the tendrils dropped the plate into Coordinator Ash's hands.
"Then it's a good thing I'm not just human." Coordinator Ash said, showing the Groudon lines on his arms, and one red eye with an Omega symbol in its pupil. "The Primal force protects me, and in return I keep it alive."
"Incredible, last I had seen you, I was under the assumption it had been destroyed for good." Arceus said, as he took the plate. "Now we have one more thing to go over before we return to the others, it's nearby still."
"Sure, where do we need to go." Coordinator Ash said.
