Backup Season 01 Episode 01
01 Den and Harrison were at school dealing with the boringness that was math class which was thankfully the last class of the day before they could go on home. Well, a dorm they shared but it currently passed as home for them at least. They'd been putting away their stuff in the locker when Harrison noticed another guy about their age coming over and they'd sighed in annoyance to the fact they were back again to bother them.
02 The guy noticed them sighing and shoved Harrison into the locker in response while questioning "You got a problem Harrison?" in annoyance while picking them up by their shirt as Harrison sighed again grabbing them by the wrist stating "As a matter of fact I do." befor ethen kicking them in the face as they'd done so. This had knocked the bully kid back away leaving a footpring on his face as they'd done so ready to fight if he'd had to.
03 "Come on Harrison, you know the guy isn't worth it." Den then sighed calling to his brother as Harrison responded his brother stating "He started it." as they'd done so. The Bully got mad yelling "You're next Den but first I'm gonna break your brother." charging at them as Harrison kicked him in the side of the head in retaliation to them trying to tackle him. Though Den had called "Whoa, leave me out of it I'm not part of the altercation." holding his hands up defensively.
04 As this was going on a teacher who hadn't gone home yet had noticed them and came over demanding "What's going on here?" while the bully then smirked at the two and pretended to be the victim in the altercation crying "They-they attacked me. I dunno why I was just walking by." while pretending to be scared. This made the Teacher look mad as with Den responding "Whoa, hold up a minute I didn't attack anyone. That guy attacked my brother. with his hand still up defensively trying to explain.
05 "Hey don't look at me, I was just defending myself he shoved me against the locker." Harrison then told them as the Teacher didn't seem to believe him. "Well, we'll just let the Principal decide all that won't we?" They'd spoken while dragging the three of them off to the Principal's office as Lok had been in a different halway but had heard Den and Harrison's complaints about what was going on and sighed in response.
06 Reaching into his locker he'd activated his new Holotome that The Huntik Foundation had given him and began to press a few different keysets waiting for whatever he wa doing to go through. We then see Sophie Casterwill answering appearing as a hologram from the tome looking up at her boyfriend. "Hey Lok what's up?" she'd questioned as he'd sighed which was never a good sign, "The guys are in trouble.. again. I'll be a bit late getting on home Beautiful first I gotta deal with this." Lok had responded to his girlfriend's questioning of what had been going on.
07 "Those boys really gotta stop getting into trouble." Sophie then sighed in response to hearing what happened from Lok before then adding "Alright, well just hurry home when you're done." Lok then nodded responding "Count on it." and they'd cut the feed putting the Holotome in his bag and headed off to the Principals office where he could hear muffled sounds of talking coming from behind the door and walked on inside.
08 " - Policy." Was the first thing that he'd heard as the three students looked surprised and Harrison slams his hands onto the Principal's desk yelling "THAT'S REDICULOUS!" as he'd done so. "Hey I wasn't even in the Altercation I was just a bystandar." Den then added also mad about what they were hearing. "If I may." Lok then spoke up getting everyone's attention since they hadn't heard him come in. "The Hallways have cameras why not just use those to find out what happened?"
09 "I think that is an excelent idea." The Principal then nodded in response and they'd checked the cameras to see what exactly happened seeing that Den was clearly trying not to get involved however they'd also seen the bully start things and Harrison defending himself. "Well Den it's clear you were doing what you could to not be involved, however unfortunately this is out of my hands as the board chose to enact the Zero Tollerance Policy. I have to Expell the other two."
10 Harrison was about to protest however Lok cut them off putting his hand over their mouth "I understand, we'll take it up directly with the board next school meeting." He'd spoken pulling Harrison towards the door "Come on Den." he'd then spoken as they backed up out of the Principal's office. The three left with Harrison complaining the whole time about the situation going off to Sophie's Casterwill Townhouse and he'd had enough stating "Look we'll take it up with the board for now just go with Den and work on the schoolwork you've got left over."
11 "Why should I, not like I get to go back tomorrow." Harrison complained and Lok then gave him a look that made both of the two brothers back away from him knowing better than to argue when he got that look. As they'd slinked away Sophie had come over asking "How bad was it?" while giving her boyfriend a side glance waiting to hear the answer. "Expulshion." He'd sighed the word looking exhausted and turned to go and sit down "I'm not sure how I'm gonna explain this to Dante but we'll have to deal with the board to get Harrison back into classes."
12 Sophie went and sat down beside Lok rubbing his shoulders as she does so stating "I'm sure you'll figure some way to tell them, maybe it's best to just treat it like a band-aide and just rip it off all at one?" she'd suggested to him as he sighed relaxing from her touch. "Maybe you're right Soph, but we're gonna be graduating soon I can't keep getting them out of trouble." She'd sighed knowing that he was right about that and Lok got out the holotome sending a mesage for Dante to call when he gets a spare moment so as to not interrupt anything important.
13 The two had gotten to work on their own assignments, which were a pain as they were nearing graduation but if they wanted to pass they still had to do them. About halfway through thier work Lok's new Holotome began to make noises and he'd pressed the button to answer seeing Dante was on the other end of the holotome "Lok just the man I wanted to speak with." he'd stated before noticing the looks on his and Sophie's faces. "Alright what's wrong?" he'd then asked questioning what was going on with them exactly.
14 "Harrison got into an altercation at school today defending himself from a bully and was expelled because of this zero tollerance thing the schoolboard decided, and Den was almost expelled too had there not been cameras in the hallway." Lok then explained to Dante just why they looked exahusted. "Well then the Council and I will have to discuss that and have a word with the board to see about getting him back into class, he didn't use any seeker powers did he?" Came the response from the elder speeker who now was on the Huntik Foundation Council.
15 "None that were shown on the video, and I didn't feel any Seeker magic when I'd noticed what was going on so that's good at least." answered the Champion of Casterwill in response to the question about if Harrison used any seeker powers on the bully. "Thats good at least, but there was another reason I was calling. The council needs you in New York to investigate a rash of strange activitiy, normally we'd do so ourselves but with how busy the council is currently.." The Redheaded man spoke about the main reason he'd actually called them.
16 "Count on us Dante, we'll find out what's going on." Sophie spoke up finally saying that they'd be able to handle it and they'd then heard beeping. "Oh, Zhalia's calling, take Den and Harrison with out it'll be good for them to get out of there for awhile." Dante spoke saying that his wife was calling him and so he'd had to go and ended the communication there as his image vanished from the Holotome. "We'll finish our work then head on over to there after Den and Harrison finish too, no point in taking it with or stressing when we get back." Lok stated before going back to some of the homework he needed to deal with.
17 They'd completed their work soon enough and waited for Den and Harrison to do the same. "Alright now that you two are done, Dante wants us to check out some strange activity in New York so pack your things and find Cherit." Lok then stated to the two after they'd finished their schoolwork and so they'd headed off to get their stuff together and everything as Sophie and Lok also went to pack their bags as well.
