A Misunderstood Gentleman

This is the story of the commander in paradigm parodox and his love story he finds with Yuuki in the most unexpected ways. He is her teacher will he become her lover and partner? Only time will tell what road they can lead to. Yuuki as well as others find this scientist misunderstood and just maybe Yuuki can get close enough to him to see why.

1. Chapter 1

He awaits the blooms after making the announcement for them to head over to the base of operation where he is. As they show up one by one he notices the new girl Yuuki who just came into her powers is fidgeting a bit. He excuses himself and pulls her to the side. He goes on to ask "Are you ok to go out on a mission today? I know your still learning your powers but it is ok if you want to train some more before hand." This being her 2nd day of coming to work with the blooms since she was scratched by the vector and her powers manifested.

Yuuki looks up to him and for a moment she notices this commander is a very attractive man and although a bit too old for her she can't help but feel her cheeks grow warm as he looks into her eyes checking on her. She stutters "I would like to train more with my powers, after almost getting Kaori hurt the last time I feel it might help me be a better team mate." The commander understood nodded and stepped back over to the other bloom members. "You four go ahead I will set up training for Yuuki to help her better understand her powers. There is vectors at the south wall that is where your objective is and be careful." the commander announced.

Yuuki sat on the couches that aligned the wall waiting for the next order from the commander. She watched as this man who seems well put together in front of all the blooms is a bit of a mess. He is plundering through papers on his desk trying to find something. His purple hair pulled back and tied up but one strand of hair has fell down in front of his face with all his rustling about. She finds her face flushing and slowly turning a slight pink. She is caught in the thought of how beautiful this man really is and how could he not be married. As she is lost in thought she didn't notice he had found what he was looking for and had walked over to her. She snapped out of it the moment she heard her name come from his lips. He pushed the hair back into place as he continued to tell her what he had on this page he held in front of her.

Masaki was a smart man but before he had even addressed her as he was walking over to her he hadn't even noticed how flush red she was in the face. "I have made a list of places in the colony you can go to and work on your powers without being noticed. I can have one of the girls go with you to help if need be just tell me what you want to do." He paused waiting a answer from this small female that sits in front of him. He tries not to notice how pretty she is so he shakes that out of his head sways his eyes back to the paper as he heard her small voice going forward.

She smiles shyly at him and almost whispers "Can you not help me with training? I feel like I can trust you." He laughs "What gives you the idea I can be trusted? Not saying you can't just wondered." She wanted to tell him that the thought of getting closer to him wasn't necessary a bad thing and would love to get to know this man they all call commander, however she was too shy to say that but instead the words that fell out of her mouth "Because you have a soft smile that makes me and probably the other bloom members feel cared for." His light purple eyes flickered as he heard her words and it warmed is heart to hear something like that. In all the years in science and as a teacher and no one had said something so nice before.

Without even thinking he sat down beside her and put his hand on hers that laid beside her and smiled "I would love to help you in training!" he said without a ounce of doubt in his words. She looked down as his hand engulfs hers with the size difference and feels his warmth against her skin. She looked up at him into his piecing purple eyes and felt her cheeks get hot and rosy before she pulled her hand back scared of what could happen next. He realized what he had done and apologized before standing up and walking back over to his desk. She stood and let herself out from the embarrassment she felt better to come back later, she transformed back and left without another word.

As the door shuts Masaki flops down at his desk blows his hair out of his face and mumbles to himself. "That girl is going to make this a harder task than it needs to be, she will be the death of me." He chuckled.
