Backup Season 01 Episode 02
01 We open with a familiar looking alien with a symbol like that of the Omnitrix on them slamming their hands onto the ground making large crystal spikes jut up from the ground slamming into an orange colored alien in some sort of mechanical suit sending them flying backwards and crashing onto a car in the process. "Yea, take that." They'd spoken as the alien in the robot suit groaned out in pain.
02 We then see the crystal alien turning to do something only to come face to face with a very angry looking man tapping his foot annoyed. "Uh, Ben.. Hi.. You see me take out Volcanus?" They then spoke to the man looking kind of awkward as if they'd known they were in trouble somehow. "Ya, I saw, and I also saw how much unnecessary damage that you've cause too." Ben responded in a displeased tone as the alien hit the symbol changing into a kid around early teens if not late preteens with blond hair and brown eyes.
03 "You've gotta learn how to better handle a situation without all this distruction, I know Rook and I both tought you better than that." Ben spoke while going and removing the orange alien from the suit revealing a tiny body with a big head and then cuffed them before they could wake up "Everything that's been damaged here today, you've gotta pay to fix so if you don't wanna go broke I suggest you actually get your act together."
04 "What, but that's not fair!" The younger one spoke hearing that he had to pay for damages that happened during the fight. "Neither is life, look Albedo you've gotta learn to stop causing so much damage during fighting." Ben stated in response while looking annoyed before then letting out a sigh. "Look I'll give you a chance to proove you can do better, I gotta head over to New York for a bit because of some strange activity you can come along but you have to listen." the Omnitrix wielder spoke to the younger wielder of the Duotrix.
05 "Ya, I'll prove I can be better." Albedo spoke with a nod and began to run off to go and pack for the trip as Ben simply sighed and began to dial in on his Omnitrix activating communications on it contacting home where a redheaded young woman with blue eyes had answered. "Hey Ben what's going on?" They questionined him wondering what was going on exactly on their end of things as he sighs and speaks stating "Albedo got into it with Volcanus and caused unneeded damage." Came the answer as he'd looked exahusted from this.
06 "Sounds exciting." she'd stated about the whole situation as Ben sighed questioning "What am I gonna do with that kid Gwen?" referring to the young woman as Gwen as he'd done so. "I'm sure you'll figure something out, so you coming home before you head on out?" spoke Gwen questioning if he'd be coming on home soon, which he responded to by saying "Ya, I'll come home and pack my things. Grandpa Max wanted me to check out some strange stuff going on in New York while Rook is away on Revonnah at the moment."
07 Gwen had nodded hearing this saying "Hurry home Love you." which he'd responded to saying "Love you too." before the communications were cut out and he'd contacted the plumber base. "Blukic, Driba, two to teleport from my location." he'd spoken into the communications on his badge and from the other end of the line came "Copy that" as he and Volcanus were teleported and some other plumbers took the Detrovite away while Ben walked off to go speak with his grandfather.
08 He'd headed over to the usual place where the old man was preparing another strange food with Tentacles trying to escape the pot and he'd decided to help out taking out a staff and jabbing the tentacle zapping it and making them retreat back into the pot while the old man locked the lid into place. "Peleroban Squid today Grandpa Max?" he'd questioned putting the staff away with his grandfather nodding while saying "The live ones cook better, so what brings you here when you should be packing for New York?"
09 "I'd use Argurrio Ice in place of salt and try grinding some charred Vargurlao Oak Bark, helps draw out the natural flavors. As for what I'm doing here I'd decided to take Albedo with me on this one. He could get in better training that way." came the answer as Ben was also making suggestions for cooking while explaining that he'd planned to take Albedo too then adding "When he's with me or Rook he seems to do fine, but being by himself he starts causing unneded damage to the area around him."
10 "Sounds like he's trying to prove he can be like you." Max then spoke hearing Ben's complaints though Ben quickly responds by stating "Ya, but I know that he can be better if he just stopped trying to hard when he's off on his own during missions. He doesn't have to prove that he's me." he'd stated to his grandfather about the situation. "Well just try to give him the chance to do better and I'm sure he'll come around like you did." Max then spoke in response while turning one of the stove burners on that the pot was sitting on.
11 "You're right Grandpa, I'll head home to pack and prepare to go." Spoke the Omnitrix wielder as he'd sighed and started to feel less stressted heading off to go on home and collect his things throwing a quick "Bye, take care." over his shoulder as he does so. Max yelled out "Say hello to Gwen for me." and he'd thrown back a "Count on it." before being out of sight completely and headed on over to one of the teleporter panels and dialed in the location he'd wanted to go.
12 We see a small bloblike creature that was black with green circuitry patterns sleeping on a pillow that was sitting on a couch with Gwen gently patting them before the little thing perked up barking out "Ship Ship" as they'd then moved so that they were seemingly standing up with their front nubs on the back of the couch and wagging their sluglike tail end while looking out the big window behind the couch. This mad Gwen laugh and turned to see that Ben was walking up the driveway to come on inside.
13 "Ship Ben's home." Gwen spoke to the little techno-organic creature who just repeated "Ship Ship" excitedly while wagging the end of their tail in response and Ben soon walked in calling out "I'm home" as he does so and spots them on the couch. "Grandpa Max says Hi." he'd spoken as Gwen stood up and walked on over to Ben giving him a kiss welcoming him home and he'd kissed her back in response. "So how long until you have to go?" asked his wife curious just how long they'd had together tonight.
14 "About six pm." came the answer as he'd lifted her up while responding to her question and she'd looked over at the clock noticing the time "So a couple of hours, good because supper is almost ready. It's not that weird stuff you make but I think I did alright." Ben laughed in response to this statement about his cooking as she'd then added "Honestly it's a surprise that stuff hasn't killed you or Max yet with the weird stuff you guys eat." while jokingly shuddering about the different kinds of alien foods they tended to eat.
15 This made Ben laugh in response to her jokingly shuddering as Ship was trying to play coming over with a ball and dropping it down to Ben's fee making him laugh and he'd sat Gwen down before picking up the ball. "Alright alright we can play for a bit, but after that we gotta get ready to head over to New York." he'd stated to the little Mechamorph and tossed it down a hall with nothing that they could knock over and he'd chased after it as Gwen chuckled a bit watching them go.
