Backup Season 01 Episode 04
01 The Huntik Team had made it to New York along with Zhalia and Cherit, and of course little Anya. They'd finally landed and soon were getting through customs and once they'd gotten their things it was time to head over to the foundation council building. "Finally we're out of the plane and can stretch our legs." Den had spoken while stretching out as they were gathering their things and preparing to head out to where they needed to go.
02 Cherit pokes his head out from one of the bags in response saying "Speak for yourself I can't stretch until we get to the Huntik Foundation Council Building." with Harrison looking uncomfortable knowing that they were gonna be mad about what happened. "Alright now that we've got our stuff it's time to get going." Zhalia then called to the others while having a bag thrown over her shoulder and pushing a small purple stroller as she does so with the others following her.
03 They didn't take long to get to the council building as they wanted to get there as fast as possible and so had taken a private car sent by the council and once they were inside the building Cherit was finally able to stretch out and fly as they'd gone over towards the elevator to the council room where they were supposed to meet up with Dante and explain about what happened with Harrison and the school as well as getting more information about what they needed to help investigate with.
04 Just outside of the Elevator was Dante who'd greeted them along with Metz and Momax and they'd started walking together and Dante reached into the stroller lifting up the small baby inside while saying "Well she's getting big already." as Zhalia then adds "She's getting bigger everyday, and you need to come home more often." scolding Dante with that last bit which he nods to in response. Metz then interjects saying "Apologies my dear Zhalia we've almost finished catching up on everything and soon there will be more free time." as he does so.
05 "It'll be nice to have a bit more free time." Dante spoke moving the baby closer to him with Zhalia warning "Careful, Anya's started grabbing at things." no sooner that she said that had the baby grabbed at Dante's beard and started trying to pull on it while seeming to laugh which had the others also laughin too while Zhalia just gave Dante a sorta smug look as he sighs saying "Alright, alright, you told me so I get it. Now onto the part about the mission and school." and they all head inside with Zhalia helping Dante get free from their little one's grasp distracting her with a rattle.
06 Meanwhile Ben and Albedo had arrived along with Ship to investigate what was going on in New York to see if it was something the Plumbers should be concerned with. Ship then returned to their small bloblike form while saying "Ship Ship." as they do so and wagged what'd be considered their tail as they ran around in circles because of all the new things to check out as they hadn't been to a big city like New York yet, outside of the ones that were on alien planets that is and so he was curious about all the new sights around them.
07 "Ship stay close." Ben spoke getting the small Megamorph Blob's attention as he does so before adding "Albedo, you stay close too." as the younger Tennyson had been slowly trying to sneak off to go investigate by himself which made them pout in response. "Come on, you know I can handle things by myself." Albedo had complained with a slight whine to his voice as Ben sighed in response saying "I thought I could but apparently not given the unneeded damage from when you fought Volcanus." this made the younger one pout more.
08 "Just come on we gotta start with the first place the Grandpa Max wants us to go and investigate." Ben then told them leading the way as Ship began to follow along with Albedo going to check out what's going on and began heading on over towards where the first location was finding a smashed up building as they did so. "What happened here?" Albedo questioned looking around confused and Ben says "That's what we're here to find out." While going over the caution tape to go through the damage'd building.
09 Some cops had come over saying "No civilia" but were cut off with Ben showing them his Plumber's badge as he spoke "High Magister Ben Tennyson, That's Albedo Special Cadet in training and this is Ship." he'd spoken as Ship then spoke his name repeating "Ship Ship." as if saying hello to the Police Officer. "What can you tell us about what happened here?" Albedo then questioned the Officer who'd responded "Not much I'm afraid just a bunch of stolen computer parts and there's some weird goo." gesturing for them to go on inside and see for theirselves.
10 The two had gone on in to see what was going on and found the place was just as trashed as it had looked from the inside and they'd found some ugly yellow goo of some sort with Ben's Omnitrix began to beep in response to it, though Albedo's Duotrix didn't. "Hey Ben, do you know what this stuff is exactly?" Albedo questioned and the Elder Tennyson sighed saying "Ya, I think so. I'll have to make a call to see what's up though." before then turning to the officer questioning "How many other places were hit?"
11 Finally Danny had come in riding the Hellcycle along with having Danielle and Cujo with them and they'd gone to the place that had send the info their way which was some sort of Government building. This confused Danielle as she questionied "Don't the Government have like their own task force for ghostst and stuff?" which Danny responds to by saying "They used to, but they were shut down because of wasting Government funding and Plumber recommendation. Now all that stuff gets referred back to our team." while he was parking the hellcycle and they climbed off to head on inside.
12 The three went on inside where some officials were walking around and some guards tried to stop them though one of the officials says "Let them through." making the guards move out of the way in response. The official then apologizes explaining "Sorry about that, we've had to beef up security after things had started to go missing in the building." with Danny then questioning "What exactly was taken to make you think Ghosts had to be involved exactly?" and so the official gestured for them to follow.
13 They'd been shown to where a large safe was and the official says "The vault is made entirely out of Tungsten, yet somehow they not only got inside, but they've stolen specialized plans for a teleporter. Since the Plumbers wouldn't let the Government get our hands on a teleporter from Alien Tech due to apparently being too low a tech level at the moment we've had to try to come up with ways to build one ourselves." as he says this the offical then opens up the safe showing that they were totally empty.
14 "If they were only plans then why exactly did you need a safe so big?" Danielle questioned looking confused as they were looking inside of the safe. "Well the Safe actually was where we were keeping a small prototype that we've been working on. As you can see, it was stolen as well." The Official told them saying that the prototype was stolen along with the plans for the teleporter as well. "Alright, were there any other places hit?" Danny then questions as the official nodded saying "There were five places in total all seemingly different for unknown reasons.
15 "Alright then, give us the locations and we'll go to check things out." Danny told the official who'd nodded and written down the addresses of where to go. Danielle then questioned "Hey Danny since it's five different locations then wouldn't it be easier to gather informaiton faster if we split up to investigate?" with the elder half ghost raising an eyebrow in response as if asking if she really thought she could get away with that, though without actually having to say it. She then adds "Just a thought." and they begin to head on out together to go investiage the locations.
