Chapter 2 the grey ghost
That's night Aiden found himself in a desolate landscape, a dark and twisted version of the jungles of Bolivia. The air was thick with tension, and an eerie silence hung over the place. He walked cautiously, his senses alert, as if he knew danger lurked in every shadow.
As he ventured deeper into the nightmarish jungle, the scenery began to morph and distort. The trees twisted and contorted into grotesque shapes, their branches reaching out like skeletal claws. The ground beneath his feet turned to mud, sucking him down with every step he took.
Aiden's heart pounded in his chest, a sense of dread growing with each passing moment. He tried to remember why he was here, but the memory eluded him like a ghost.
Suddenly, he heard faint cries for help echoing through the darkness. He followed the desperate sounds, feeling an overwhelming urge to save whoever was in danger. The cries grew louder, filling him with a sense of urgency.
Finally, he stumbled upon a group of civilians, trapped and defenseless. They looked at him with pleading eyes, their fear palpable, their clothes soaked in blood. Aiden recognized them as the hostages he had failed to save during Operation Jungle Fire…one of the few botched missions he would be haunted by.
"No, not again," he muttered to himself, the weight of guilt crushing his spirit.
Suddenly a van approached the hostages and aiden remembered exactly what was going on. This van contained the Bolivian dictator Eduardo Vargas, the drug king of Bolivia, who Aiden had been tasked with scouting out his complex. Aiden was under strict orders to scout the area first and then regroup before infilitrating the compound. Command had said nothing about hostages especially members within the American embassy. During the real mission Aiden had no choice but to watch in horror as the hostages were brutally executed by the Serket demi human but this was a nightmare, so Aiden thought he had a chance to redeem himself.
Out of the Van stepped Vargas, an imposing man with a rather fat human upper body and a buff scorpion lower body. Vargas had adorned his entire body in the military wear of a general to further cement the idea that he was in charge, his ego would be his downfall.
Aiden listened to the conversation Vargas was having with one of the hostages; he could tell that Vargas was after something. Aiden remembered what it was, Vargas had been after the location of a secret American military base that had nukes in it and the locations of hundreds of other demi human civilizations that the UN had been keeping secret from the world. This was Aiden's chance to change how it ended before they were dragged off to the firing squad.
As he moved to try to help them, the nightmare seemed to intensify. Shadows danced around him, and the twisted trees closed in. Aiden's hands trembled as he reached for his gun, but it was gone.
Suddenly all the faces turned towards Aiden this time dead and decaying with bullet holes riddling them. The cries for help turned to accusations, blaming him for their suffering, their pain. The nightmare seemed to feed on his regrets and doubts, amplifying every failure he had ever experienced.
A sense of hopelessness washed over Aiden as he realized he was powerless to save the hostages, just as he had been on that fateful day. He felt paralyzed, unable to move or act, the weight of his past haunting him like a relentless specter. He started to hyperventilate and felt like he couldn't breathe, he tried to scream as he looked down and saw hundreds of hands trying to drag him down into the mud. They kept dragging him deeper and deeper till soon the mud had completely enveloped him.
Aiden woke up with a jolt to the sound of video games. This was strange he didn't have anything in his room yet minus a couple wamazon boxes filled with the furniture he had purchased and hadn't put together yet so what could be making that sound. More importantly his chest felt so tight like he couldn't breathe at all and when he moved his head, he started to have a nosebleed as right in front of his face all he could see was a pair of voluptuous Oni ass cheeks with a pair of pink striped panties belonging to his new exchange student Kiyomi. At least he figured out why he couldn't breathe in the dream.
This gave Aiden a big nosebleed as he woke up and shouted, "Kiyomi what are you doing in here!" before shooting out of his sleeping bag.
Kiyomi was startled as well and said, "w-well I just wanted to be closer to you Aiden Kun! But I got bored and brought in one of my games" while pointing to a handheld game she was playing. "I guess I must have moved around too much and ended up with my ass in your face I am sorry" before trying to get off him.
However, this didn't go well and Kiyomi ended up slipping and landing directly on Aiden's face causing the man to blush as he smelled Kiyomi's scent, a mix of berries and lilac.
Kiyomi blushed profusely and started to apologize a lot while aiden laughed it off and asked her to leave his room so he could get ready.
Agent Smith had expected him in the MON defense building early in the morning to discuss his employment and deployment as a member of MON so he had to get ready. Going over to a box from Agent smith aiden opened it revealing a yellow flak jacket with shoulder pads on it and a pair of black combat boots and bullet proof pants. As aiden felt the material he recognized it as Kevlar carbon fiber plating, something mainly used by bomb squads or those who specialized in deep recon. Aiden guessed Smith must have gotten his combat suit tailored to his style of fighting as he put on the suit he was surprised with just how light weight it was. Walking over to a charge port Aiden also took his arm off the charger and put the prosthetic back on making sure it was fully charged for the day and ready for combat.
As Aiden walked out after finally getting ready he noticed Kimihito all wrapped up in Miia's tail struggling to breathe while Miia was trying to seduce him saying, "come on darling why don't we take a bath together"
This got a chuckle out of Aiden as he watched Cerea charge in nearly running Aiden over to go and tear Miia off of Kimihito scolding Miia in the process, "doth thou have any respect for my master let him eat first before you try anything Miia!"
Aiden laughed and went into the kitchen where he was immediately given a hug by Kiyomi who looked at Aiden and said, "good morning honey bear"
This mayde Aiden blush intensely as he stuttered and said, "honey bear! Where did that come from!"
Kiyomi giggled and said, "oh the girls filled me in on what their trying to do to your brother, so I thought if I am going to be in your care and maybe even be your wife one day maybe I should start calling you a cute pet name, like how Rachenee-san calls kimihito honey" before giving Aiden a hug and yet against bringing him into her boobs.
Aiden managed to slip out of her hold and walked over to the fridge and got out a bottle of green and some eggs and made himself a nice bowl of Tamago kake Gohan with some soy sauce in it as well before sitting down to watch some TV.
Aiden flipped through the channels on the TV, finally settling on the morning news. The anchor's voice filled the room, capturing his attention.
The cute Lizardman news girl smiled and said, "Good morning, and welcome to today's edition of Morning News. Our top story today takes us to Egypt, where an incredible archaeological discovery has unearthed a tomb dating back to the time of the last pharaohs. What makes this discovery even more intriguing is the possibility that it may have connections to the demi-human world."
Aiden's interest piqued as the screen shows images of the excavation site, revealing the ancient tomb adorned with intricate hieroglyphs and enigmatic symbols. His eyes widened with curiosity.
The news anchor continued and said, "Experts are working tirelessly to decipher the hieroglyphs found within the tomb, and early translations suggest references to creatures and beings from ancient myths and legends. This has sparked speculation that this tomb may have been a final resting place for powerful demi-human figures from Egyptian history."
Aiden leaned forward, his green tea momentarily forgotten, as the news anchor continued to report on the ongoing discoveries and the excitement within the archaeological community.
"The implications of this find are far-reaching, potentially shedding new light on the historical relationship between humans and demi-humans throughout ancient civilizations. Researchers and scholars are eagerly awaiting further revelations from this remarkable tomb." The news anchor grinned.
The news anchor then transitioned into her next segment saying, "now on to our next story Cinco de mayo hits tomorrow, here are a few things you need to get ready!"
Aiden's mind races with possibilities, his thoughts wandering to the rich history of Egypt and the potential connections to the demi-human world he has come to know. He imagines the untold stories and secrets that lie within the tomb, waiting to be uncovered.
As the news segment concludes, Aiden looked at the time and realized he had to start heading out to work so as he left he called an uber and got a ride to the MON HQ. Aiden kept to himself mostly during the trip their reading up on the file Agent Smith gave him which contained the names and positions of the other girls he would be working with ranging from the ogre Tionishia, the liveliest corpse Zombina, the monoeye manako and lastly the shapeshifter doppel. These girls would be part of his team, a second family to him like he had back in the service.
Soon Aiden arrived at MON and gave the drive a couple bucks as a tip and then hurried inside to see it bustling with life and demi humans of various species rushing around doing paperwork and laughing with other humans. At the center of the room was a white tiger woman dressed in a standard Japanese police outfit with a short skirt and a shirt that looked a little too small for her.
Approaching the front desk Aiden leaned over and said, "Hi Aiden Kurusu here to see Agent Smith about possible employment."
The lady got up and said, "ahhh Mr. Kurusu Agent Smith was expecting you! Follow me please"
The lady at the front desk led Aiden down the halls of the MON building to what looked like an interrogation room with no windows but a one-way mirror, and in the center of the room was Agent Smith looking over some files.
The other agent bowed her head and said, "Agent Smith, Aiden Kurusu is here to see you"
Agent Smith smiled and said, "thank you Melody that will be all thank you"
Melody bowed before looking at me and saying, "welcome to MON Mr. Kurusu"
Aiden smirked and sat down in front of Smith who put the file she was reading on the table revealing it was Aiden's service records.
Agent Smith took a sip of her coffee and said, "Aiden Marquis Kurusu born June 27th 2000 to Amalia Marquis and Kinzo Kurusu, eldest of two brothers with your youngest brother Kimihitio Kurusu being born in January of the next year, age 27, joined the Navy right out high school at the ripe age of 16 but was accepted very quickly not only into officers school but also the navy SEALs on the special request of myself, once basic training was done you would train under one Hanzo Nakamura to become a specialist in the fields of infiltration, assassination and reconnaissance, leading to you being the first soldier to be deployed to scout out the hundreds of monster civilizations and determine if they have hostile intents. You would be a part of such dangerous missions as operation jungle fire in Bolivia, the hostage situation in Afghanistan where you accurately assessed a situation all other scouts said would require a carpet bombing but you managed to get inside the compound and find out the hostages were not even in the building but deep underground, and the infiltration of the Mongolian embassy to rescue not only human but monster representatives who were about to be killed by Orcs who were against the idea of peace"
Agent smith laughed and said, "my, you have been busy in your 11 years of service, and the number of accolades you have received, 2 purple hearts, 5 Navy crosses, 12 different kinds of service medals and the marksmanship medal for a sniper shot which could have made or broke interspecies peace, I must say Aiden you are lethal"
"And that's just the stuff that isn't in black ink, so does my resume meet your criteria agent smith?" Aiden asked.
Agent smith chuckled and said, "oh you more than meet what I am looking for, in fact I would dare say you are overqualified for the position."
Aiden chuckled and said, "if I had a nickel for every time, I heard that well I'd be a rich man."
Agent Smith then pulled out another file and said, "your commanding officers spoke highly of you, especially in those critical situations when you'd come back with vital intel that saved countless lives. Not a lot of people can say they have gotten out of as many hot situations as you have and even less can say they have gotten out successfully with no one knowing they were there, according to one of your previous evaluations your commanding officers even gave you the codename of big boss cause the few times you have had to work in a team you took charge and made sure everyone got home safe, and then you gained the codename of grey ghost after a successful infiltration of Mongolia and later grinning reaper after your tours in Afghanistan, you are by far the most dangerous person to grace our team"
Aiden chuckled and said, "you talk about my praises a lot Agent Smith but you haven't fully explained why I am here or why exactly you want me of all people"
Agent smith nodded and said, "right down to business I respect that, as you know the inter species protection act has loads of loopholes in it. Some organizations would take advantage of these loopholes to do crimes and get away with things, that's where MON the monster Ops Neutralization comes in, we infiltrate and arrest those who are breaking the law. You were part of a special group within the Navy SEALs who had authorization to apprehend, and kill demi humans so you'd be perfect for our little group. we're basically swat but with monsters…you think you can run with us?"
Aiden leaned forward and said, "Ma'am I had a minotaur, a vermillion bird, a papillon and an Orthrus on my team after the interspecies bill went into effect I can run with just about anything you throw my way"
Agent smith then got up and shook Aiden's hand saying, "well then Aiden Kurusu welcome to MON"
Agent Smith led Aiden down a corridor inside the MON headquarters. The sound of footsteps echoed through the halls as they approached a well-lit meeting room where the members of MON were waiting. Aiden could feel the anticipation building up as he prepared to meet the team officially.
"Here we are," Agent Smith announced as they reached the meeting room's entrance. He opened the door, and Aiden stepped inside, greeted by the curious gazes of Tionishia, Manako, Doppel, and Zombina.
Tionishia, the tallest of the group was the first to step forward, extending her massive caramel colored hand to shake Aiden's. "You must be Aiden, the one Agent Smith has been talking about. I'm Tionishia, but you can call me Tio."
Aiden shook her hand, only to be suddenly grappled into a hug which smothered Aiden between Tio's big tits. Aiden may have been a tall 6'2 but in Tio's arms he was still short, yet the warm embrace wasn't painful or shocking it felt calming like the embrace of a mother.
Aiden nearly fell for Tio but snapped out of it and broke free from the hug and said, "w-well that was a pretty warm welcome! But I thank you Tio I look forward to working with you in particular."
Manako the gentle and kind Monoeye, standing beside Tionishia, offered a small smile. "I'm Manako. It's a pleasure to have another capable individual working with us."
"The pleasure is mine," Aiden replied warmly, feeling more at ease with each passing moment.
Doppel, ever the shapeshifter, changed her appearance to mimic Aiden as she introduced herself playfully. "I'm Doppel, but you can call me whatever you like, handsome."
Aiden chuckled, not fazed by her transformations. He's dealt with doppelgangers in the past and even worked alongside them, so he wasn't fazed. "You're quite the character, Doppel. Nice to meet you."
Zombina raised her hand in a casual salute. "Zombina here. If you ever need someone to dig up some dirt, you know who to call. Or if you need a friend to hang out with or go to the shooting range with I, am you gal."
"Thanks, Zombina. I'll keep that in mind" Aiden replied, appreciating her straightforwardness.
Agent Smith stood by Aiden's side, observing the introductions. "Aiden has a unique set of skills that will be a valuable asset to our team. I trust that you'll all work well together."
"We'll do our best to welcome him and make him feel at home," Tionishia assured her with a warm smile.
Aiden got straight to work getting his own desk along with a stack of paperwork that he had to go through and sign. It was actually quite calming compared to the battlefield Aiden was used too but it was also boring nearly falling asleep at his desk before getting a tap on his shoulder.
Looking up he looked over to see Tio looking at him with a smile and said, "wanna do a bit of sparring? You seem bored"
Aiden smiled and said, "anything to get out of doing Smith's paperwork, does she do this normally?"
Tio laughed and said, "hehehe yeah but we're used to it by now" before leading Aiden through the hallways to the private gym in the MON.
As Tio and Aiden entered the gym they saw Manako and Zombina running or lifting weights.
Aiden grinned and walked with Tio to a boxing ring where the two of them raised their fists ready to fight.
Tionishia cracked her knuckles giving Aiden a slight smirk as she readied herself, "Alright, Aiden, show me what you've got!"
Aiden nodded his head bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet slightly, "Let's do this."
As the sparring began, Tionishia charged forward with immense power, intending to overpower Aiden with her strength. But to her surprise, Aiden was incredibly quick on his feet, dodging her initial strikes with ease. He darted in and out of her range, using his agility to get into her blind spots and deliver quick jabs to her sides.
Tionishia gave a mighty grin as she landed a solid punch on Aiden only for him to follow it up with a quick jab to the ribs, "Not bad, Aiden! But I'm not giving up that easily!"
She adjusted her strategy and tried to anticipate his movements, but Aiden was one step ahead. He kept up a relentless pace, making it difficult for Tionishia to counter effectively. His movements were precise, and his punches were calculated, leaving little room for error. At some points it looked like Aiden was dancing around Tio giving her no time to anticipate Aiden. This hadn't been the first time aiden had fought an ogre, back in Bolivia the drug lords down there used to employ them by the dozens, and they all had nearly the same fighting style, so it all came down to details.
As the sparring session continued, Aiden's cold and unfeeling expression didn't waver. He had fully immersed himself in the fight, his instincts and training taking over. Tionishia, though impressed, couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated at being unable to land a solid hit on him even the solid hits she did land didn't have the impact she wanted as he redirected them and countered with solid jabs to gut and usually followed up by Aiden grabbing her around the waste and surplexing her.
By the end of the fight Tio was panting and sweating stammering as she said, "Jeez Okay, you're good! I'll give you that! Guess you SEALs are tougher than I thought."
Zombina laughed a bit and said, "Well, you've certainly got our attention grey ghost. I'm looking forward to seeing you in action during our missions."
Just as Zombina talked about a mission Agent Smith walked in and said, "you'll have your chance to see Aiden in action because we got ourselves a mission"
Aiden raised his eyebrow and said, "what kind of mission?"
The team followed agent smith to a briefing room where she talked about the mission, "a group of Orcs have infiltrated and are currently held up in a bank, the MON are to be deployed to take care of it, Aiden are you ready to bare fangs and take care of them?'
Aiden grinned walking over to a weapon rack grabbing a Remmington 870 and saying, "ready when you are Smith."
Agent smith nodded and once ready they got into a van heading to the hostage site where they were greeted by the chief of police.
"Smith is it wise to have a non-human extra species on your team?" the police chief asked after taking one look at Aiden.
Agent smith nodded and said, "I'll vouch for Aiden and his abilities chief, and more importantly his certification as one of a handful of people who are licensed to deal with non-human extra species."
The police chief nodded and said, "well here's the situation we know so far an unknown number of orcs have taken the bank hostage and any attempts we have made to infiltrate have been met with serious firepower, we have no idea how many hostages they have or what kind of fire power we are dealing with at all so we're going in blind."
Aiden stepped forward and said, "sounds like a job for my expertise, permission to infiltrate Agent smith?"
Agent smith smirked and said, "show them what a recon expert is capable of Aiden"
Aiden nodded and pulled up his mask. If these were Orcs he had to be quick about his recon as it took them a couple seconds to locate his scent. Aiden did have a couple tricks to outsmart the orcs though. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a small drone and put a couple drops of his blood on the drone and sent it out first. This was meant to confuse the Orc's sense of smell and target the drone first giving him enough time to make it onto the roof of the bank and in through the vents.
Crawling through the vents Aiden heard a bit of the conversation going on. The orcs wanted to use the money they acquired here to make their own set of Doujins centered around Orcs with various types of women including Orc NTR and Orc X centaur which…honestly sounded really bad. Aiden memorized every single position of the orcs and even the fact they had a getaway van parked outside with the engine still running. This could prove disastrous should they flee. Aiden had to report his finding to smith as this was all he could gather.
Aiden snickered as he made it back safely, "Alright, here's the plan. There are 16 orcs total, 5 of them are in the main ground floor protecting 4 hostages, 2 of them are in the basement trying to crack through the vault I give them 15 minutes till they crack the safe, 6 of them are patrolling the upper catwalk and there are three of them in the back in a getaway van. All of them are armed with ak-47s and are lightly armored so we don't need to worry about bullet proof vests."
Agent Smith looked smugly at the prime minister and said, "I think hiring agent Kurusu here was worth the 127,000 monthly salary we have to pay him for his expertise wouldn't you agree."
The prime minister sighed and said, "very well smith you may proceed."
Agent smith looked at me and said, "this is your op Kurusu give the orders."
Aiden saluted and said, "Manako, you provide us with eyes in the sky hopefully that new thermal scope on your sniper rifle comes in handy. Zombina, you go in first, take out the guards and give them a false sense of security by letting them "kill" you. Once they're lulled into a false sense of security Tio the Orcs in the van are all yours break down the van however you see fit, Doppel you and I will infiltrate from the top of the bank and head inside, our number one priority should be to rescue the hostages, we have to do this in less than 3 minutes however."
Zombina raised her eyebrow and said, "why 3 minutes?"
Aiden brought out a stopwatch and said, "back in the SEALs it was always said that a group of untrained combatants would take 3 minutes to properly ready themselves and collect themselves after an ambush is initiated, those three minutes are vital as they could execute the hostages at any given moment."
Agent smith smiled and said, "correct Aiden now then proceed with the mission!"
The MON group saluted Agent Smith and rushed to their positions readying to start their operation.
Aiden and Doppel made their way to the rooftops, keeping their movements stealthy.
Once they were in position Aiden got on his earpiece and calmly said, "is everyone in position?"
Zombina was the first to call in and said, "ready to reveal myself."
Tio giggled and said, "ready."
Aiden could hear Manako loading up her rifle as she muttered, "everyone is in position."
Aiden then pulled out his stopwatch and said, "time starts…. NOW!"
Suddenly gunshots rang out as Zombina was gunned down all according to plan. Aiden then rushed in breaking the door down and shot an orc in the neck with a tranquilizer dart.
The team moved swiftly through the bank clearing every orc that got in their way. Time was still ticking down as they took a minute to clear the orcs on the upper levels before finally moving into the main bank area where a big brutish orc rushed Aiden to fight him.
the Orc managed to knock off Aiden's riot mask and was shocked to see a human stammering, "w-wait humans aren't allowed to hurt extra species! What are you!"
Aiden grinned before shooting a rubber bullet right into the orc's balls and then chest and said, "unlucky for you I was a SEAL and still have authorization to fight extra species" before rushing up and hitting the orc in the back of the head with his shotgun.
The rest of the mission went according to plan and with zero casualties as well, which in Aiden's book was a win.
Agent smith smiled and said, "good job team you really showed your mettle today."
Tio suddenly hugged Aiden from behind not realizing she had fully smothered his head between her tits and said, "hehehe its all thanks to Aiden that we were able to get this far, the mans a natural tactician."
Aiden blushed and started to tap on Tio's boobs trying to get her to let go of him as she was starting to suffocate the poor man. Tio finally realized what had happened and said, "oh gods sorry about that aiden!"
Aiden chuckled and said, "i-it's nothing honestly" before looking at smith to try and change the subject by saying, "so what happens now?"
Agent smith laughed and said, "well now we celebrate lets head to your place and have your brother cook us up some nice tasty food!"
Aiden laughed and said, "why do I have a feeling this is but an excuse to get out of getting take out again agent smith"
Smith stuttered and said, "w-well it's not that I just thought you would want to celebrate your first successful mission with a home cooked meal is all! We'll bring something, how about some tasty booze!"
Aiden laughed and said, "fine sounds good, let me just call ahead and let bro know whats coming his way"
Pulling out his cell phone Aiden contacted home and Kiyomi answered the phone giggling as she said, "hey there honey bear hows its hanging."
This caused aiden to blush a bit as he said, "its going good works winding down for the day but I just wanted to call ahead and let kimihito bro know that agent smith and MON will be joining us for dinner so be ready."
Kiyomi laughed and said, "hehehe okay honey bear I'll let him know also a bunch of packages showed up for you today as well I took the liberty of putting them in your room to help you out."
I let a small laugh and said, "awesome thank you Kiyomi I'll be home in a bit" before hanging up.
Aiden looked at MON and said, "you guys go on ahead, I'm gonna pick up some beers for everyone!"
Tio smiled and said, "I'll go with you Aiden, might as well keep you company"
Aiden smiled happily and said, "that would be awesome! I thank you for the company!"
Together the two MON powerhouses went to a local convenience store where the two of them got huge kegs of beers before finally going back to the kimihito household where the party had already gotten started, and people were already eating happily.
Aiden decided to sit next to Kiyomi and Tio who were laughing and eating loads of fried rice and tempura which was getting gobbled up by the other girls but Aiden was quick and managed to get some food for himself and even gave some beers to the girls as well which went fast.
Zombina laughed as she chugged the beer before shouting, "ahhh nothing pairs better than good katsu pork and beers! You did some good work on the food Kimihito!"
Aiden took a bite of the katsu pork and then immediately chugged on the beer shouting, "holy shit yeah! This turned-out perfect brother!"
Kimihito smirked and the family along with the members of MON ate the night away laughing celebrating Aiden's first successful mission as a member of the MON. that night while Aiden was asleep Agent smith had a talk with Kimihito concerning Aiden…a talk that would lead to Aiden meeting one of the most exotic monster girls in existence, a Quetzalcoatl.
