Vader is devoid of all his remaining patience, so when the ding of the elevator sounds, he uses the force to throw the doors open, no longer caring if he makes a scene.
All activities in the hallway came to a stop and Vader ran through the halls, weaving between people and droid alike, finally he approaches the hangar bay, as he goes to press the button which opens the door, a stormtrooper stops him.
"Sir, I'm afraid you've caused quite a bit of concern with command deck, could you please answer a few questions?" Asks the trooper.
"Yes." Replies Vader as he turns to face the trooper.
"Good. Firstly, why did you kill captain Vancil in stern elevator c-11?"
Vader ignites his lightsaber and stabs the stormtrooper who's let his guard down through the chest.
A grunt can be heard as the trooper takes it through the chest, and a quiet gasp as the blade retracts and he falls to the floor.
Vader reattaches his saber to his belt, and finally opens the door, entering the hangar bay.
Using the force he overrides the controls and opens the massive hangar doors.
He runs to a Lambda-class shuttle and opens the front entrance, running up the ramp into the ship, he uses the force and closes it behind him as he settle into the pilot seat.
He makes all mandatory checks, almost finished when he senses it, he looks up to see four squads of stormtroopers all gathering around the shuttle, weapons drawn.
A lone stormtrooper, wearing an orange pauldron over his right shoulder, steps forward and speaks. "Lord Vader, by order of the emperor you are to be arrested for treason against the empire, come out of the shuttle with your hands up!"
Vader ignores the troopers warnings, starting the engines as they open fire, taking off and going full speed out of the hangar.
He waits before fleeing the scene, a minute passes as he dodges shot after shot from the star destroyer, until the guns fall silent when the reactor blows, a beautiful explosion reflecting off of Vaders lenses.
Once finished Vader began to ponder, wondering what he should do from here.
With no clue where to find his son he would need to figure out where to go to start his search.
He closes his eyes, lifting his hand, he uses the force to try and find Luke, or at least where to start looking, when once again, the voice of his old master interrupts him.
"You'll never find him like that." Says the apparition sitting in the co-pilots seat.
Vader opens one eye and looks to Kenobi, not saying a word.
Obi-wan looks at Vader, and speaks. "He is much like you, strong willed, determined to protect those he cares about, and he definitely took after you when it came to flying."
"I will not become the man I used to be, no matter how much you compare him, and my son."
Obi-wan nods his head. "Perhaps, perhaps not, only time will tell."
Vader remains silent, focusing on trying to find a clue as to the whereabouts of his son.
"I spoke truthfully, you will not find him that way." Spoke Kenobi.
"What makes you so sure?" He says, as he finally gives up, and faces the ghost next to him.
"Because, an old friend is here, he has been here for a long time, and he, along with the will of the force are preventing you from finding him." The apparition stands.
"Who is this old friend?" Asks Vader, still glaring at the old mans spirit.
"You have met this old friend, he was much like a father to me, and without him you would have never come to the order." He looks into Vaders mask, imagining the face of the boy he met on Tatooine behind it.
"Master Qui Gon…" Vader looks down, trailing off, a memory from his childhood threatening to enter the forefront of his mind.
He settles his thoughts and looks up to find that the force ghost of his former master no longer stands before him.
He turns and looks back out the cockpit window, staring at the floating debris left after the destruction of his ship, the executor.
Suddenly the disembodied voice of Kenobi filled his ears. "Go to the last place you met your son, there you will find the path towards him."
Vader, although hesitant to listen to Obi-wan, sets the hyperdrive coordinates to Yavin-IV.
He looks one final time at the wreck of his ship, before hitting the hyperdrive button, and seeing the change in scenery to that of hyperspace.
