two glass kingdom citizens rowed their boat down a river near the candy kingdom, a woman held a bundle in her arms. shut that thing up will you or else you want us to be spotted ! her husband whispered angrily. as they pulled up to the docks several banana guards surrounded them and pointed their spears at them. terrified the glass husband turned around to see a man made of gum with a long gray cape coming towards them on his horse. judge Gumbald ! the husband gasped.
Gumbald was the minister of justice for the candy kingdom and did not treat anyone other than candy people to kindly, he glared down at the glass couple with a menacing frown. take these glass kingdom rats to the candy dungeon he ordered. the husband was pulled away from his wife, handcuffed and led away by the banana guards. you there what is that your hiding !! a guard shouted to the wife refering to the bundle she carried. stolen goods of course Gumbald said, take them !!, the woman managed to break free with her bundle and began to run down the streets of the candy kingdom as Gumbald followed her.
eventually she reached the candy kingdom castle. she banged on the doors. but no one answered. before she could run away again gumbald grabbed her and kicked her down the steps of the palace, he smirked as he looked at her lifeless body. "now to see what this vermin has been hiding". as Gumbald unwrapped the blanket he looked at it in shock as he saw that it was not in fact stolen goods but a baby. A glass kingdom infant Gumbald gasped, with a crack on it, he added, I must dispose of it he said. as he looked around he noticed a well.
as Gumbald was about to drop the baby into the well he heard a loud voice he could recognize anywhere. STOP !!! in the name of the princess !
niece this is a demon !! I am sending it back where it belongs ! Gumbald shouted back. uncle look what you have you done !!, the princess said. I can see what I have done I have just gotten rid of another one of those glass kingdom rats, Gumbald calmly said back to his niece. no Gumbald what you have done is taken the life of another living thing, may the gods have mercy on you now, princess bubblegum sternly said to her uncle.
upon hearing his niece's words Gumbald gasped and realized his she was right. he had just committed a crime to the gods. he looked up at the night sky, "what should I do niece", care for the child and raise him. Gumbald growled and looked down at the baby. very well niece as long as he lives in the castle, the bell tower perhaps and who knows maybe one day this strange creature will be a use to me.
