It was a sunny afternoon, and several months had passed since Doctor Robotnik's last plot was thwarted. The world had known peace without trouble, all thanks to the efforts of a brave group known as the Freedom Fighters, led by Sonic the Hedgehog and Princess Sally Acorn. With the doctor somewhere else, everyone could enjoy a long period of peace.

Sally Acorn was down at the local comic and costume store in Western City, looking at comics with Nicole, while checking out the newest costumes that were on display to buy.

For a while, Sally had been into all sorts of comics, mostly action-adventure and superhero. And whenever she got the chance, she would share the comics with Sonic, who was also into comics. Sally sat in the corner of the store, reading the latest Vampire Hunter issue, and Nicole was quite intrigued by how much the comic had evolved since it began.

"You have to admit the action scenes have gotten flashier with each issue." The A.I remarked.

"Got that right." Sally nodded, "And there is a fine balance between cheesy and serious."

She put aside the comic, and moved to another sector of the store. That was when she saw the new Red Sonja and Conan the Barbarian merch on display, seeing the most recent issues of both comics together. Sally's eyes then moved towards what was right next to the toys and comics; an authentic Red Sonja chainmail bikini with a fake sword.

And an idea clicked into her head, Sally took the costume, and checked to see how much it cost. The chipmunk breathed slowly, thinking of the idea in her head, imagining Sonic seeing her in the outfit. That would be quite the night.

"Sally, what are you thinking?" Nicole inquired.

"I'm thinking, Sonic and I are going to have a special night." Sally replied.

She decided to buy the costume, and the fake sword. And she headed over to the checkout, paid the man at the desk for the outfit, and then headed out, ready to see Sonic. Hopefully, the hedgehog wasn't too busy.

As Sally left the comic store with a new outfit, Sonic the Hedgehog was out for a run through a grassy countryside, breathing in the fresh air and enjoying nature itself. Just then, he heard a beeping on his wrist communicator, and stopped by a tree, almost startling a pair of nesting Flickies when the blue hedgehog screeched to a halt.

"Yo." Sonic quipped, answering the call.

"Sonic, can you come to my place tonight?" Sally's voice asked.

"What's the occasion, Sal?" Sonic replied, "Great hearin' from ya."

"I got something special for you."

"Ya do, huh? Well, every night we have together is special."

"Just come running, blue boy."

"Okay, Sal. See ya!"

Sonic signed off and continued his run. That night, after the sun had gone down, Sonic raced over to Mobotropolis, heading right for Sally's place. The blue hedgehog leaped through the open window, and closed it behind him, Sally really seemed to like letting the night air in for some reason.

"Hedgehog priority one!" Sonic called, emulating a Swatbot.

No answer.

He looked around the living room, wondering where his girlfriend was. Robotnik couldn't have shown up and taken her hostage. Sonic didn't see any signs of an attack or a battle, the place looked very clean. Then, he heard the door open, and footsteps reached his ears as they perked up. Sonic turned around, and he watched as Sally entered the room.

Sonic froze, his eyes filling with hearts. Sally looked stunning! The chipmunk stood in front of the hedgehog, wearing a chainmail bikini with a skirt, holding a fake sword in hand. Sonic was breathless, he couldn't tell if this was Sally Acorn.

"Greetings, blue hedgehog, I see you were brave to come to my domain." Sally said, "Allow Red Sonja to treat you to a special night."

"What is going on?" Sonic asked, "I expected Sally Acorn, not Red Sonja."

"Sonic the Hedgehog, tonight, you can call me Sonja Sally." The redhead kissed the hedgehog on the cheek.

"Careful with that sword, Sal." Sonic stepped back with a chuckle.

"How else can I protect you from the harm that will come our way on this evening, with dangerous enemies afoot?" Sally tapped his nose, "Imagine if we were attacked by barbaric outsiders, especially on a special night for love."

"Okay, but can we kiss without the sword?" Sonic asked, "I'm all yours, Sonja Sally, you're too gorgeous for this hedgehog to resist."

Sally raised her sword to Sonic... and tapped him on the shoulder with the blade. And then, she put it down. She posed with a hand on her hip, winking repeatedly at the speedster. Sonic sat down on the couch, and Sally stepped towards him. The chainmail bikini-clad chipmunk placed herself on the couch, and straddled the speedster upon his lap.

'I can't believe she's dressing up as the babe from that comic.' Sonic thought, 'What a night.'

She looped his arms around the hedgehog, and Sonic embraced her, he pulled Sonja Sally in close, and then flipped over on the couch with his girlfriend laying down and him on top of her.

Sonic couldn't resist, his heart belonged with her. He locked eyes with the princess, and she stared at him back. And then, he dove in and kissed her hard. Sally returned the kiss, kissing Sonic harder. They lay on the couch, kissing passionately as the moon shone through the window. Man, he couldn't get enough of that costume and her long red hair.

The hedgehog's hand ran through Sally's hair, and Sally pressed her body against his slim stature. He kissed her until Sally sat up, and Sonic sat upward, before she looped her legs around his waist.

"What do you think of my chainmail bikini?" She whispered.

Sonic looked at her, mesmerized. "You look way past cool, Red Sonja Sally!" He said, "Way past cool."
