Backup Season 01 Episode 09
01 Den and Harrison had joined up with Jake's crew on the way to school and began talking about the Dance that night with Trixie saying "Imma be doing the school a favor and take Spud to the dance so he ain't bugging all the other girls, what about you guys?" and Jakre responds "I was gonna ask out Rose. and you two?" while looking over at Harrison and Den who were slowly intergrating with Jake's crew. Den however says "Don't have one we only just finished unpacking so I'm not sure I'll even have a date." and his brother Harrison joins in saying "I don't even know any of the girls besides Trixie."
02 Trixie then gestures over to Rose saying "Better now than never Jakey." and so Jake goes over to speak to Rose while Trixie and Spud continued chatting with Den and Harrsion with Spud saying "Dudes, there's lots of pretty girls at the school you can ask out." However Den says "Maybe but right now might be better just to go to the dance to hang out instead of finding a date since we're still new here." and Harrison adds "Not like any of those pretty girls will talk to the new kids anyway right?"
03 The bell then began to ring and so they had to get to class. Through the day they'd kept an eye on Jake and noticed he'd been acting strange with his breath starting to turn green a bit with a weird smell. Harrison had gone off to the bathroom and into one of the stalls as Jake had been heading towards it and listened in if there was anything important going on there. He'd heard Jake talking on the phone saying "Fu Dog, what can you tell me about my breath starting to stink and turning into a green mist?"
04 He can't hear the answer from the other end of the line but does hear Jake then saying "Great, I can't get a date with Dragon's breath this sucks." and then shortly after him saying "Thanks Fu Dog I'm glad I can count on you with this." and then hangs up heading on out of the boy's bathroom once he was gone Harrison then came out of the stall that he'd been hiding in and says "Dragon's Breath?" while looking confused and then headed off to meet back up with Den.
05 After School Trixie questions Den and Harrsion "So what's up with you two, going to the dance or what?" though Harrison says "It'd be fun but we don't exactly have dance attire as it were." However Spud then speaks up saying "No worries my dudes, I know the best Taylor in town and they've always got extras hanging around you can buy off the shelves you're welcome to go with." and Den nodded agreeing saying "Ya that'd work, gotta call home real quick though and let them know what's up we'll be right back."
06 Den and Harrison then head on over to their lockers and once it was clear Harrison activated his Loreslave to call back to the house getting Cherit answering the call saying "Hello you two, what's going on?" and Harrison answers "Cherit let the others know we won't be meeting up with them for awhile and to head home without us." which confused the titan and they questioned "Oh, did something happen, do you need backup or anything?" However Den and Harrison both wave their hands in a gestue for him to relax.
07 "Nothing's happened Cheirt, there's a School Dance tonight and we gotta go get some formal wear so we don't stick out and can see if there's anything up or not from that magic we sensed around that Jake Long kid." and the titan then nods in response hearing that. Cherit then says "Sure I'll give them a call and you two can come on back later, I'll let Dante know too." and the two of them nodded with Harrison ending the call and slipping the Loreslave into his bag going to meet back up with Spud.
08 While they were doing that Cherit had called up Albedo connecting to the Duotrix and Albedo answered "Cherit? What's up, how did you even manage to connect to the Duotrix's Communications?" and the titan answers back "Ship connected me, listen you and Danielle should go on and come on back as Harrison and Den are going to be late because they're preparing for a dance being held for their grade tonight." the two nodded in response to that and ended the call starting to leave however a teacher stopped them saying "You can't leave without someone on the approved list picking you up."
09 Danielle however says "Maybe normal kids can't but we can handle outselves just fine, and besides we also have Kujo." while gesturing to the little ghost dog the size of a puppy who barked at them. The teacher closed their eyes saying "Well you may have them however you still can't lea..ve with..out.." having trailed off when they opened their eyes and saw Kujo had grown to his full attack dog size which was rather quite large and he was growling at them leaning forwards.
10 Albedo questions "You were saying?" and the teacher backs up and clicks their pen writing Kujo's name on the approved list and says "Oh look, eh, they're on the approved list." showing them the paper on the clipboard before saying "You can go now." and so the three of them then head on off to go back to their place seeing that girl from their class walking with their mom and Danielle says "Hey, you're Haley right?" which the girl nods saying "That's right, and you're Danielle and Albedo, the ghost girl and alien boy right?" with the two nodding and Kujo barked with Danielle saying "This is Kujo."
11 Later on that night they'd gone to the dance alongside Jake Spud Trixi and Jake's date named Jasmine and the two felt another sort of strange magical energy around them, however this one was different than what they'd felt from Jake. As the night went on things began to get stranger with Jasmine and they'd noticed she'd started doing something strange to the other students and she then becomes a large snakelike creatuer with human head and arms with long claws on them along with black wings.
13 The Nyx began to try to do whatever she was doing to those other guys but to everyone at once however Den and Harrison call out "Headcage" in a whisper and we see a magic symbol of an eye over the two of them stopping it slipping away without people noticing. "Alright what now, we can't be seen remember?" and Den says "I've got an idea, you know Oversight right?" which Harisson nods in response to questinoing "What's the plan?" with Den then holding up an amulet saying "You cast Oversight on the others while I keep that thing busy. C'mon time to even the Odds Powerbonded Vigilante!"
14 He'd summoned a humanoid creature that was taller than the two of them with golden purple and black armor with a black hood and glowing green eyes without a face and Harrison calls out "Darkfog!" filling the gymnasium with the black mist to make it harder to see and Den calls "Powerbonded Vigilante, time to activate Cindercloak!" with his powerbonded titan covering his body with their armor combining the two together as one and giving Den his weapons and such as well.
15 Den then began to fight Jasmine as someone behind him blasted her with fire and a red dragon had come over questining "Are you with the Huntsclan?" though he answers "Never heard of them. But if you're here to protect these students then consider me a friend." As they were keeping Jasmine busy talking dog and a blue dragon and the dog throws a bottle over to the red dragon calling out "Use it on the Nyx!" however befor he could catch it Jasmine, revealed to be a Nyx, knocked the bottle to the side and Den calls out "Camoforge!" vanishing into thin air with the red dragon sighing saying "Ya, great. Some Friend." and begins to continue fighting the Nyx as she was trying to drain him and whoever was left.
16 After calling "Oversight" on the last of the people Harrison then turned towards the Nyx calling out "Fireswarm!" making a swarm of flaming insects then began attacking and distracting the Nyx and Den who was still invisible thanks to Camoforge had grabbed the bottle from where it had landed and called "Spidertouch!" sending energy bonds that wrapped around Jasmine's arms and wings before then jumping onto her back and appearing while uncorking the bottle saying "Swallow this." and poured it down her throat jumping down as the Nyx changed back into Jasmine.
17 When the smoke began to clear up Den says "Well that's it." however the red dragon says "And what about the people witnessing the fight?" To which Den responds "What fight? They saw what I wanted them to see, the rest of their classmates just dancing around." before then taking off and slipping away meeting up with Harrison who suggests "We should probably get out of here" while peeking through one of the doors that were just slightly cracked seeing the red dragon vanish and Jake Long appear and start talking to the dog that had thrown the bottle and his older brother nods saying "Agreed. Thanks for the help Vigilante take a rest now." and allowing the cloak to vanish back into the amulet he'd held up earlier.
