Marceline managed to sneak into the candy castle. she looked in amazement as she had never seen such a grand hallway in her entire life. Finn who noticed her enter went in behind him but Marceline noticed him and shoved him to the floor. now now easy there just give me a change to apologize, Finn nervously said. I don't want your apology !!! Marceline snapped back. look I only sent the guards on you because I had no choice, if I had the choice I wouldn't have, trust me !!, Finn replied. Marceline calmed down a little.

ok then if your not going to arrest me then what do you want ?, Marceline asked. I mean wouldn't mind knowing your name, finn said. is this an interrogation ?, Marceline sarcastically said. it's called an introduction, Finn replied with a smile. Marceline smiled, Marceline. Marceline Finn said, what a nice name. yes it means young warrior. Marceline said. and yours ? she asked. oh yes my name is Finn it means...fair. well I can see why your parents named you that, Marceline jokingly said refering to his blonde hair. Finn chuckled. just then a loud bang was heard and Finn and Marceline looked over to the doors. it was Gumbald some banana guards. great work captain now arrest her, he ordered. Finn turned round to Marceline. claim sanctuary, you tricked me you liar, Marceline angrily replied. Finn sighed and turned back to Gumbald. I'm sorry sir she claims sanctuary, I can't, he spoke.then drag her outside you idiot and- but Gumbald was cut of by his niece. gumbald you know this is the only place where I don't need permission from you !!!. princess bubblegum shouted.

she put a hand on Marceline's shoulder. don't worry dear my uncle learned years ago to respect the sanctity of the castle of the gods, princess bubblegum said. gumbald growled and turned to leave. as princess bubblegum led Finn outside Marceline said, and by the way call me Marcy she said in a non humorous tone. as Finn frowned. just then gumbald, who had hid behind a pillar, appeared from the back and grabbed Marceline's arms. you think you have won vampire but I'm telling you, demons don't do well inside candy walls. he then stroked Marceline's hair longingly. what do you think you are doing !!! Marceline screamed. just imaging a rope around that beautiful neck of yours, Gumbald said he walked out. now remember !! set one foot outside this castle and your mine !!, he said as he slammed the door and left.

Marceline decided to go to the top of the castle where glassboy lived. she bagan to speak to him. hi she said. glassboy startled nervously replied, hi. look I'm sorry about what happened today she said. it's okay it's not your fault, thank you for saving me, glassboy said. your welcome Marceline replied. my name's Marceline but you can call me Marcy she said. my name's glassboy, glassboy said back. so this is where you live, Marceline asked. yup and I want to show you something, glassboy said as he climbed up the ladder reveling a spectacular view of the candy kingdom and the grasslands. wow this is beautiful, your so lucky, Marceline said in amazement. glassboy chuckled. I don't know about that, I'm a monster you know, at least that's what my master Gumbald tells me. well you don't look like monster to me, Marceline said. maybe Gumbald is wrong about the both of us, she added. glassboy sighed thanks he said. I'm going to help you get out of here, he said. but there's guards at every door we're going to do it the fun way he added. wait do you mean climb down ?!, Marceline nervously asked. yup I do it al the time, he grabbed Marceline in one arm and swung down with the other. Marceline screamed as she looked down to the streets below as glassboy jumped from one part of the castle to the next. eventually he reached the bottom and put Marceline down. thank you Marceline said with a smile as she ran of.

glassboy smiled watching her escape and climbed back up to the belltower. meanwhile Gumbald stared out of the window of his bedroom in the castle. he began to sing:

my beloved gods,

you know I am a righteous man

of my virtue I am justly proud.

(he walked over to his fireplace)

my beloved gods, you know I'm so much purer than the common vulgar weak licentious crowd

then tell me, my saviours, why I see her dancing there why her smoldering eyes still scorch my soul ?

I feel her I see her the sun caught in her long dark hair is blazing is me out of all control.

Like fire

Hellfire

this fire in my skin

this burning desire

is turning me to sin

(lots of hooded priests from Gumbald's imagination appeared)

it's not my fault

it is the vampire girl the demon who this flame

it's not my fault

if in the plan of the gods

they made the devils so much stronger than a man

(the hooded priests disappeared into the fireplace)

protect me my saviours

don't let this siren cast her spell

don't her fire sear my precious body

destroy Marceline

and let her taste the fires of hell

or else let her be mine and mine alone

(gumbald was then startled by a knock on the door)

a banana guard entered, minister Gumbald the vampire girl escaped, WHAT !!! gumbald shouted, we've searched the whole castle she's gone, the guard told him. but how !?, nevermind, get out idiot, Gumbald said, I'll find her, I'll find her even if I have to burn down all of the kingdom.

(he then continued his song)

Hellfire dark fire

now vampire it's your turn

choose me or your pyre

be mine or you will BURN !!!

(gumbald backed towards his wall)

my gods have mercy on her

my gods have mercy on me

but she will be mine

or she will BURN !!!

gumbald then collapsed on his bed exhausted but still ready to find Marceline the next day.
