Backup Season 01 Episode 14
01 The group had been bored that day waiting around for a mission just doing their thing. Some were doing homework others were playing games or possibly dealing with the training room to try to get a better handle on working together when they'd recieved a call coming through to their main monitor which also happened to be the tv so they'd paused the game to see what exactly was up. It was Ben on the other end of the line and they'd stopped everything they were doing and came over to see what exactly was going on.
02 "We've got trouble, Charmcaster's been calling and saying someone's been knocking at her door. Head on over to the DTA and see if you can find out what's going on. I'd go there myself but I'm currently off-world right now." Ben then explained to them about what exactly was going on, which Albedo responds to saying "I've never been there how are we gonna find it?" wondering just how they'd do something like that. "Ship Ship." the little mechamorph blob spoke jumping up and down.
03 "Ship knows the way there just leave the flying to him alright?" Ben then answered saying that the Mechamorph team member could help. "Alright then lead the way." Danielle spoke looking at Ship who then chased his tail and changed into his spacecraft form and let them inside, though Ben interrupted calling "Hold up Danielle, I have a special job I need you and Cujo to look into right there in New York." this surprised them to hear but the two stayed behind and Ship goes to take off while Ben displays something that looks like some bank robbers with some sort of white rope tied to them and the two dangling from a light post.
04 "So what exactly is the DTA?" Harrison questions Albedo since he clearly knew what that was and in response Albedo answers "It's called the Door To Anywhere. It's a magic door that you can use to basically go to any dimension you want or whatever. But I'm not exactly sure how all that works, magic is more Gwen's thing to be honest." he'd told them in response. "Wait, so you mean like, anywhere anywhere?" Den then questioned about that and Albedo then nodded again in response confirming that it could.
05 "Can it open a portal to say the Huntik spirit world?" Den then asked which Albedo answers "Probably but you'd need to know the name of the place. According to Gwen you have to know the true name of where you are going or it won't work." Before they can talk more about Ship begins saying "Ship Ship." in their deeper voice letting them know they were about to land and so they'd gone to their seats and waited to land, which Ship then did though off a ways away so as to not alert others that they were there.
06 Once they were outside of Ship he'd returned back to his normal size baring "Ship Ship." and looked around growling at something and began to run off scooting himself along the ground like a worm barking "Ship Ship." as he does so confusing the others. "Where's he going?" Cheirt questioned which Albedo answers "I'm not sure, but he'll be back. Ship likes to run off from time to time." explaining that this was normal from time to time. "Well for now we gotta handle these guys trying to get into the DTA." Harrison spoke with the others nodding and going to check it out.
07 They'd gone over to to where the DTA was and found Wilder there yelling in frustration "DAMN IT WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING!" he'd called angry that he couldn't get it open "C'mon I said Open the Door to Legerdomain, the realm of mana, mana kingdom come on damn it OPEN!" he'd continued trying being unable to get it open. "I don't get it why isn't it opening?" Den questioned in a whisper as they were watching curious, which Albedo answers "It's because Ledgerdomain isn't it's true name." Albedo answered whispering back.
08 "So we can't just say Huntik and it'd open?" Harrison questionined, and Albedo answered "Accodring to Gwen if it's not the true name then it won't work even if that's what people know it as." They'd looked around to see if there were any Ectocites they'd have to deal with but hadn't seen anything and found nothing, just a frustrated Wilder. "Doesn't seem there are any Ectocites." Harrison spoke which Den responds to saying "Looks can be decievining." which they'd agreed with and proceeded with caution trying to get closer without being seen.
09 They'd watched Wilder from their closer location and waited for the right time when suddenly Ship came from seemingly nowhere jumping into the air barking "Ship Ship!" and growling when they'd landed moving around as if they were struggling with something under them and it'd gotten Wilder's attention questioning "What in the?" as a small green lizard appeared from under Ship who was trying to fight with it and it'd blasted energy from it's eyes knocking him off of it and hissing at Ship as it'd stood up.
10 "That's a Gareon!" Harrison spoke as a blast of blue icy energy hit the rock where they were at and a guy with gray hair that had a bluish tint came down ready to battle them. "Oh great who's this now?" Albedo then groaned as the guy answers "My name is Ford and I'll be the one to beat you." pointing his fist at them as it had glowed with that blue icy energy again. "Right, like I haven't heard that one before." Albedo answered messing with the Duotrix as Harrison called "Raypulse!" firing a blast of energy at the new seeker.
11 Albedo hit the dial on the Duotrix and ended up as a large lizard with blue skin and a black and white shell with three dorsal fins going down their back "Whoa, I'm Articguana? Cool." you could see his breath with every word due to the differences in tempratures. "You aren't messing this up for us!" Wilder called holding up an amulet and then called "Destroy Incubane!" summoning his titan ready to give them a fight. Articguana then blasted at them with beams of ice and Ford held up another amulet calling "Minddrone!" calling forth another titan to fight them.
12 "You're gonna have to do better than that, Make them Tremble Powerbonded Antedeluvian!" Harrison then spoke calling for his vampiric titan immediately followed by Den calling out "Now it's our turn Even the Odds Powerbonded Vigilante!" and summoning his own titan as well. Wilder called out "Double Spell Augerfrost!" and began to blast energy from his hands at the group though Articguana blasted at them forcing the attack back at Wilder while Incubane was working on breaking free from the ice.
13 "Boltflare!" Ford then called firing a burst of orange energy at Incubane melting the ice that they were trapped in, however Harrison calls "Not so fast, Powerbonded Antededluvian activate Lifedrain!" with his powerbonded titan racing down from the air swooping overhead and grabbing Incubane and forcing their head to one side and sunk their fangs into the Yama-Titan draining away their energy and sending them back to their amulet before setting their sites on mindrone next ready to keep fighting.
14 Ship meanwhile had changed into his turret form and was now shooting rappidly at Gareon who was having a hart time trying to dodge due to Ship being able to see them even when invisible and the titan began to his at them though that was a mistake because when they paused Ship riddled them full of holes and made them return to their amulet turning his sights onto Wilder next. Harrison and Den along with their titans were also focused on him and Ford giving them no choice but to retreat with Wilder calling "Darkfog!" to cover their tracks as they escaped.
15 Once they were gone they'd sighed recalling their titans while Albedo changed back to human and Den walked over to the stonelike door and knocked on it saying "So, this is the door to anywhere, any chance we can find out how to get into Huntik?" He'd questioned with Albedo answering "It's possible Charmcaster might know, but why do you wanna go there so bad?" not sure if they could or not. They answer back "Lok's dad was lost in the spirit world of Huntik, I thought it'd be nice to use it to find a way to get him out." and Cherit comes over saying "That's a great idea."
16 "I'll talk to Ben about it, maybe Gwen can ask Charmcaster." Albedo spoke as Ship had chased his tail making himself into the spaceship form again so they could leave. We then cut to Ford and Wilder bowing to someone sitting in a a chair that we can't see and Ford speaks saying "Apologies we were unable to get inside and had to retreat when they overwhelmed us." however the person in the chair says "No matter, we already know what we needed to find out from there." and we then cut to a girl with bluish black colored hair like the shine off of a raven's feather who had a red gem imbedded in her forehead running down an alleyway in a rush and breathing heavily.
