A/n: I got this idea in the middle of the night so I had to write it lol. Just so everyone knows Ethan Lovett is one of my top ten favorite male characters so this is going to be very emotional for me to write. This will follow Lulu, Luke, Lucky, Holly and Johnny because I feel like their the ones who would be most affected by his death.

~Lulu~

Lulu Spencer burst through the open door of Johnny Zacchara's penthouse apartment where Dante and Olivia Falconeri were preparing dinner and Johnny was brooding out the window. A shrill cry escaped her mouth body shaking with sobs, Lulu could barely walk straight as she gripped the wall behind her for support. Johnny was the first to notice her entrance concerned he walked over to his ex-girlfriend about the same time Dante did, Dante went to put his arm around her and she pushed him away from her.

"DO NOT FUCKING TOUCH ME RIGHT NOW, THIS CANNOT BE FUCKING FIXED!" Lulu screamed at him, slamming her fist against the wall in anger.

"Lulu calm down, I'm sure it's not that serious." Dante brushed it off, earning a smack from Lulu.

"Dante Angelo where are your manners?" Olivia glared at her son, knowing whatever this was shook Lulu to her very core.

"Lulu, talk to me. What's going on?" Johnny's tone wasn't rough or demeaning like Dante had, it was soft and comforting. Lulu relaxed slightly but, as she thought about the news again she collapsed against the wall gasping for air. The tears spilled down her cheeks uncontrollably.

"Whatever this is that's bothering Lulu, she can only talk about it with John. Come in the kitchen with me, you're being an ass! This isn't how I raised you Dante." Olivia Falconeri didn't have a lot of patience to begin with but, Dante was on thin ice.

"Ma, she doesn't need him anymore. Lulu had me." Dante kept laying on the excuses.

"This isn't them cheating Dante, they have a friendship. Sometimes they are the only ones who can get through to each other, and don't make things worse on that poor girl." Olivia jerked her son to the kitchen, knowing they needed privacy.

"Sonny and Jason...they helped me try to keep him alive. I could tell by the shocked looks on their faces that they didn't do this, I think he was dead before we could get him to the hospital. Johnny, what are we going to do? WHAT ARE YOU AND ME GOING TO DO WITHOUT ETHAN?" Johnny had helped her up and led her to the couch, he sat on the edge of the coffee table as she laid the news on him.

~Luke~

"I'm sorry Dodge...if Sonny didn't do this, it had to be one of my enemies. There are...a lot of those. What breaks my heart even more than losing the son I've only known for two years is the look on my cupcakes face. Lulu could barely walk to the elevator I wasn't sure she would make it, the look on Lucky's face as Elizabeth tried to console him, Holly just flew in to see you and fell to the floor in fits of sobs. All of us are just...heartbroken." Luke Spencer stood in the hospital room his son had died staring at his face, the son that had reminded him most of himself was gone.

"I hate to interrupt, you must be heartbroken Luke. I am...so sorry." Luke heard a familiar Australian voice, a ghost of a smile played on Luke's lips.

"Scorpio?" Luke turned towards the doorway seeing his old friend standing there.

"I was in town visiting Robin, Lulu called me and she wanted me to stop you if you did anything stupid." Robert could see the pain etched in Luke's face, it tugged at his heart.

"Lulu's always looking out for everyone but herself. I'm...not going to hurt myself, it's just...parents aren't supposed to outlive their kids. Dodge was too young, this was a message. I've obviously still got enemies,I need your help. I need to find out who killed my son." Luke was glad that his best friend was here, he was trying to be brave but Luke knew that eventually he would mourn the loss.

"I can't imagine how you're feeling, Spencer. I don't know what I'd do if I lost Robin. Holly's a wreck, she's barely talking to anyone. We're going to find out what sick bastard did this and make sure this never happens again." Robert promised him.

"I can help you, I've got connections. This is bad, there's somebody out there more dangerous than Jason and I, and Zacchara. We all need to work together so we can make sure there aren't more victims." Sonny Corinthos had been racking his brain trying to figure out who could have possibly done this.

~Lucky~

"Lucky?" I vaguely heard Elizabeth's voice call out to me, I felt as if I were in a daze. Was this real? Was my brother really dead? I blinked back tears not wanting to cry in the hospital waiting room, Lucky took Elizabeth's hand.

"I know I haven't been the best person to you...we weren't happy long before you and Nikolas had the affair. I've been awful to you. I'm not asking to get back together, I'm just asking not to be alone for a few days." Lucky cleared his throat, red tinging his eyes.

"Lucky, I don't want to talk about that right now. It's not the right time, your brother was just killed. I'm not letting you go back to that sad apartment alone, you shouldn't be alone right now. Come on, let's go home." Elizabeth pressed a kiss to his cheek, leading him over to the elevator.

"Thank you."

~Holly~

"My only son..." I trailed off as I stood on the hospital building standing on the ledge, I didn't see any reason to continue on.

"Holly wait, don't do this!" Holly heard an urgent voice rushing towards her making Holly slip. Holly gripped the side of the building, as she looked up to see Laura Spencer looking down at her.

"Laura?" She asked, what could Laura possibly want from her? Laura offered out her hand as Holly begrudgingly took it, Laura pulled her back onto the building.

"I understand that you're hurting but, your son wouldn't want you to end your life over him. I didn't know Ethan but, from what Lulu told me he loved his family. Ethan would always protect all of you, he wouldn't want that. I know you're hurting but, there are people that still need you here...like Robert." Laura didn't much care for Holly Sutton but, Laura was still a mother and Ethan's death hurt her heart.

"Does Luke know you're here?" Holly asked.

"Not yet." None of her family knew that she was back, except for Nikolas. Nikolas was trying to use his connections to see who shot Ethan.

"My son was murdered in broad daylight, I can't imagine who would do such a thing." Holly shook her head in anger.

~Johnny~

I sat there in shock at the news Lulu had just laid on me, knowing that she wasn't lying.

"If Corinthos and Morgan didn't do this... we're all in serious trouble. I...can't believe he's gone. Lovett was my best friend, I'm just going to be alone...all the time." I trailed off, wanting to cry as I looked at Lulu.

"I know. Right now I'm feeling so many emotions I don't know what to do...does it ever go away? Do you ever get used to not having them around? I don't want you doing anything stupid, please call me. I don't want to be alone either. We can...be alone together." Lulu's voice was filled with tears but, she wasn't crying as bad.

"I know how you feel, when I lost Claudia I was a wreck. I wish I could lie but, it doesn't get any better. You just get used to it, sometimes the pain hits you in the middle of a good day. It sucks. I'm not, I'll call you if I even think about doing anything stupid. I promise. I'd like that." Johnny was trying his hardest not to cry as he took Lulu's hand.

"What's going on?" Olivia asked us.

"Lovett's dead." Was all I could say, gripping Lulu's hand tighter.
