Episode 1: Monster Cash
XXXXXXX
"Last season on Total Drama Island," Chris's voice said over a long distance shot of the island. "Christian and Molly battled it out for one million dollars," A clip of the two inching across the shark infested gorge was shown. "In the end, Christian, a guy with a super size brain," the bookworm's slide across the finish line was shown, then him holding the giant check at the last bonfire, "won the super size check. He was allowed to keep his prize and was even offered a chance at five million big ones!" A shot of the case was shown.
"With five million bucks stuffed into a briefcase, our twenty-two campers went off on "The race for the case," the case was shown floating down a river. "Until the case was eaten by an alligator." the gator was shown eating the case from Garry's fishing Line, "then a shark," The case's final fate was shown, as well as Ramona, Nick and Chelsea in the water. Chris laughed and added, "I bet you they didn't see that one coming."
"Now the sixteen who were the closest to winning have been given a chance for another five million dollars," A clip of the case flying to the dock was shown. "Actually, it's the same money."
The recap ended and the camera showed Chris outside in front of a trailer. There was a forest behind him and several fake buildings. A Couple of stage lights were littered throughout the shot. "They've been instructed to an old film lot," The scene flashed to him in front of several studio warehouses and a tall fake mountain in the distance, "For a whole new set of challenges," another flash to another part of the film lot, "For a whole new set of challenges."
"Forty-two days," A stopwatch with spinning hands, a day calendar with a "42," and another calendar moved across a dark yellow background with alternating day and moons in it, "Sixteen castaways," a film strip took the middle of the screen and showed each of the castmates: Annie, Brenda, Caleb, Chelsea, Christian, Donna, Evan, Faith, Garry, Jasmine, Jonathan, Lamar, Louis, Molly. Nick, and Ramona, before ending on a wooden chest full of gold and jewels, "one heck of a lotta cash!"
The film strip background melted away and the scene returned to the host. "Welcome to Total! Drama! Action!"

The season opened up with a shot of a steamy street grate before zooming out to a decrypt guard station under a beautiful and broken sign. A dirty and run-down bus drove into the scene and squealed to a halt. The back fender fell off and the camera focused on the doors as they opened to reveal a large looking boy, with black hair., And a plain grey shirt.
"Man I miss the smell of the city," the boy, Caleb said after taking a big sniff. He walked off and two more people walked out: Ramona, a black girl with short hair, hoop earrings, and a white shirt, gave a loving smile to Caleb who just walked out. He returned the smile sent to him. Next up was Evan, a medium sized boy with black hair, Tan skin, an earring on his left ear, and a black and white shirt.
Two girls tried to step off the bus at the same time. The one on the right, Annie, had blonde hair and blue eyes. The one on the left, Brenda, was an attractive tall asian woman, and her hair was long black.
"Move it, Traitor!" The blonde one Growled.
"Who are you calling a traitor?!" Brenda shot back. The two fought to get off the bus first, flew from the bus, and slammed into Evan, who in turn was slammed into Ramona.
"Sorry about that," Evan said.
"It's alright," Ramona said. "It wasn't your fault," she added with a glare sent to the two girls.
The camera focused on they're glares at each other and was soon overtaken with smoke as the bus drove off. The smoke cleared and showed all sixteen contestants as they sat in the entrance: Jonathan, a short and bored looking teen who had a brown shirt and a straw hat: Donna, The taller white girl with orange hair in a purple and gold shirt: Lamar, a muscular black teen with a red shirt and a slight beard; Louis an average sized black teen dressed in a green shirt and a brown coat: Nick, a medium sized teen with a black hat, and a teal shirt; Chelsea, a popular girl with dirty blonde hair and a blue shirt; Molly, another girl with blonde hair, and light blue shirt; Jasmine, a large looking girl with an attire like a zookeeper; Garry, a white male with spiky Auburn hair, and a black shirt, along with a necklace; Christian, a medium sized teen with blonde hair, with light green shorts: Faith, a white women with a lot of makeup and brown hair; and the five already shown.
"Where is everybody?" Brenda asked out loud.
"Maybe we got off at the wrong stop?" Faith suggested.
The camera zoomed in on Chelsea and Louis. "That broken down piece of garbage only had one stop," Chelsea rudely said.
"Well, I'm not waiting around here to injure myself," Louis told the others.
"Don't you need the money for that hang out room you wanted to add," Christian asked as the camera quickly cut to him.
The shot focused on Annie. "The money's why all of us are here!" She exclaimed angrily. "But that doesn't explain why you're here" she said looking at Christian.
"I'm a competitor," Christian said when the camera cut to him. "Besides, Chris wouldn't give me my money unless I showed up to play. So like it or not, you're stuck with me." The camera showed Annie, then Chelsea glaring at the former winner.
The sound of a car horn go the castmates attention and the camera pulled back to show Chris arriving in a white golf cart with a large passenger cart attached to it. "Dude," Garry grumbled. "It's about time!"
"Hop on Everyone!" The host called out. "Come on people," He continued as Nick and Chelsea were shown picking up they're bags. "We don't have all day, This car's rented by the hour,"
"He shows up late and then rushes us," Molly grumbled to herself.
The scene skipped ahead to sixteen teens being driven through the film lot by Chris. "Welcome," He said. "To the set of Total Drama Action. This season's hottest reality show will be shot here," he gestured to the studio warehouses behind him, "At an abandoned film lot!"
"So we're gonna be in the movies?!" Faith asked excitedly.
"No," The host answered as he looked at her in the rear view mirror. "You're gonna be on TV. and don't interrupt me," he added as he looked directly at her. "Ev-er."
"Yeah Faith," Brenda snickered to her. "Stop wasting time," Faith made a hand gesture that was censored.
They started driving through an old west set and continued. "You'll be spending the next eight weeks here, competing against each other in challenges and for rewards. All for the chance to win some monnnnnster cash,"
"Or some more cash," Christian commented with a smirk. Chris glared at him and shushed, and he rolled his eyes but complied.
"Like last season," Chris continued, "One team will win, and the other will watch one of their own make their way down the dreaded Walk of Shame to the lame-osouine." He pressed a button and the cart's windows rolled up. He drove past a slightly run down limo with bull horns on the hood and blowing large clouds of exhaust. The castaways coughed as they were driven through clouds.
"Was that really the best you could do?" Jonathan asked between coughs.
"Yes," Chris said simply. "Now since we don't have the outhouse to dump your deepest darkest secrets in," they drove past the same trailer from the recap, "You'll dish the dirt in our new makeup confessional."

Chelsea - I came back to this dump to win. After almost killing Ramona, I decided that to win I'm gonna have to play more strategically; and actually be…Nice to people. That will be very hard.

The static faded to the cast driving past a brown tent. "To your left," Chris continued. "Is the crafts services tent. Catered by Chef." A clatter from inside caught his attention, and the camera cut to an opening as Chef chased a racoon out of it while holding a cleaver.

Louis - Was he chasing that raccoon because it stole our dinner, or was he chasing that raccoon because it is our dinner?

"If you survive chef," the host continued. "You'll have to make it through our dramatic award ceremony," he drove past fancy looking amphitheater flanked by two golden statues of the host on stone petesadals and surrounded by wooden bleachers, "where all but one loser will receive," the camera focused on one of the gleaming statues. "The gilded Chris award."

Confessional
Jasmine - Gilded Chris? What a narcissist.

"Can we get to the challenge now?" Jasmine asked the host.
"I have an eject button, and i'll use it," Chris warned.
"It was just a question," Jasmine groaned.
The camera showed them driving by a moon set. "Cool," Louis gasped. "Is this a dream?"
"No Louis it is not." The host answered. "But you may soon wish it was." They drove out of the moon set into an ordinary looking street. "A few months ago, this lot was home to a big budget monster movie. That is, until the star experienced some," he paused to think of a word. "Difficulties?"
"I bet she went crazy," Donna commented. "That kind of stuff always happens in hollywood,"
"The star wasn't a "she," Donna," Chris said. "It was an animatronic monster!" The camera cut to three different fake buildings, all with large bite marks.
"What happened to it?" Faith asked nervously.

Faith - Okay, i probably shouldn't of asked that

A loud roar shook the camera, and then it cut to Garry covering his ears and scoffing. "Come on guys," he said, "He's yanking our chains."
Chris smirked as the camera shook with a mechanical whir and thud several times. The scene showed a large green and orange tail flick through the air and knock down the radio tower. The host stepped on the break, Garry said "Woah," Lamar said "Man," and Caleb just screamed as the shot was overtaken by dust.
The dust cleared and the camera switched to a front look as the cast members all leaned out to look at the downed tower. "Since we're on a film lot," the host's voice said, the camera returned to the side view as he finished, "This season's challenges will be based on movie genres. Today's genre?" the monster roared. "The monster movie!" He laughed a moment and said, "Duh."
The monster stomped past the camera and the castmates gasped. The camera cut to Caleb as he gasped a few times before passing out.
"And we're down by one," the host chuckled. "The challenge is to get from here to the cast trailers while our state-of-the-art monster prevents your every move. Chef has kindly offered to control the beast." The camera quick panned to Chef in a motion capture suit stomping around and back to the host. "Annnnd Action!" The cast sat there with blank expressions. "That means go."
And with that, the cast all tried to leave at the same time. Evan picked up Chelsea and threw her out of the cart. He was in turn punched in the neck by Louis and collapsed. He was then picked up and tossed out by Garry.
Louis flew past Chris and the host winced as he was heard landing painfully. "This," he commented. "Is gonna be a long season."
The camera flashed to a long distance shot of the film lot before flashing again to a beach set. The cast, except for Ramona and Caleb, ran past screaming with the monster not too far behind, even leaving behind a giant footprint.
"Aw man," Garry commented as the camera cut to him and Molly running through the set. "That'd be so cool if it wasn't trying to kill us,"
"It's still pretty cool," Molly replied.
The camera cut back to the start of the challenge with Caleb and Ramona. "Go to your happy place Caleb," Caleb silently sobbed to himself as he hugged his knees and rocked back and forth. "You're at home, helping mom make dinner,"
Ramona patted her crush on the back with a sympathetic look.
The scene cut back to Garry. He scanned the area and his eyes went wide. "Molly, duck!" The camera cut a bit ahead to Molly. She looked back and held a hand to her ear. "Move out the way!" he called out. She shook her head and shrugged. Garry groaned and ran to her, pushing her out the way just as the monster grabbed and wound up grabbing him.
The camera cut to a bounce house, and the monster unceremoniously dumping the boy inside. He bounced a couple of times with a scowl on his face.

Molly - I don't think Chef's gonna look in here. I don't wanna tell him yet, but i think i love Garry. He's always doing sweet things for me, and is the sweetest guy I've dated. but don't tell him i said that cause he gets weirded out when you say things like that.
The shot cut back to Nick and Chelsea. Evan ran up to the surfboards. "Hey," he said, "Smart move, waiting for the monsters to leave before finding the trailers. You guys wanna team up?"

Evan - Last season, I trusted the wrong people and I was backstabbed. I Still hold a grudge over Lamar and I'll vote him off the first chance I get. Obviously, Nick and Chelsea aren't to be trusted but I can use them to win this challenge.
Chelsea - Like I said, I'm trying to be nicer to People, so I'm not gonna tell him no.
Nick - My plan for this season is simple: play under the radar and rebuild the relationships that I've destroyed, then just as they are comfortable, I'll unleash the beast and destroy them.

The static cut to nondescredit street side, then panned down to Lamar, Louis and Donna. "I Gotta say," Louis commented, "This is unlike Chris, No explosions, no bears, nothing like that."
"Do you realize how much money it took to buy this place?" Lamar asked, "i'd be shocked if they have anything left in the budget," their Attention was caught by an explosion. They looked to see a wooden building burn up and the camera zoomed in and signed on an angry bear.
The three castaways promptly ran away from the scene.
The camera cut to Chef and Chris watching the challenge on a group of monitors. "I thought the bear was tranquilized and sent back to its handler?" Chris said.
"Had one day left on its contract." Chef Explained.
"Nice!"
The footage returned to the three running away from the bear. All had their heads turned back to see the distance between them and what was chasing them, and did not notice running straight into the monster's palm.
The monster grabbed them and began carrying them to the bounce house. "I can't believe i lost so quickly!" Donna yelled in frustration.
"Relax girl," Lamar told her, "There was nothing you could've done"
"That doesn't mean I have to like it!" She yelled at him. The monster dropped them. "I'm sorry" she apologized as they fell in.
The camera cut to Faith running through the beach set. She stopped when she noticed Christian out in the open reading a book. "Hey Christian!" she said as she opened the umbrella and pulled him out from under it. "I hope you can run; we've gotta challenge to win." He started running with her.
"You do realize that I was there for a reason right?" he told her, "And You have a better chance of winning solo,"
"Well, it didn't feel right to leave you behind," she replied. The monster roared and they were both knocked off screen. The camera cut to two holes in the sand, each shaped like one of the castmates, and the monster grabbed at the holes and picked up the two teens.
"Watch out!" Faith warned. "These nails took hours!" The monster dumped them into the bounce house without a second thought.
The scene flashed to Evan, Nick, and Chelsea running through the beach set. The sounds of the monster walking were heard and they turned around and ran in the other direction. The camera cut to Brenda seeing them run past her and she smirked and yelled, "You're going the wrong way, Losers!" The monster grabbed her as she was gloating and pulled her up to his face.
"Just put me down already," she commanded.
The camera cut to Chris and Chef in they're tent. "That girl's got issues," Chef grumbled.

Brenda - I made some big mistakes last season, but this season will be different. This time I won't be Nick's puppet.

The static cut to Brenda falling through the air and landing in the bounce house. "Well," she said as she looked around. "At least i'm not the first one to lose," The other teens glared at her. "What?"
The camera flashed to Molly running through the downtown street set as she ran into Jonathan. The monster roared and picked up Jonathan while Molly got away for a moment, until Chef found her and Jasmine. The camera showed Annie smirking at people being caught. And then cut back to the bouncy house as they were dropped in, though Joanthan was missing his hat.
"Hey!" he yelled up. "Give me my hat back!" The hat landed next to him. "Thank You!"
Another flash took the scene to the street set, and Caleb and Ramona running through it. They stopped at an intersection and the monster closed in. "Hey you two!" Annie was heard calling. The camera cut to her at the door to one of the buildings and she said, "In here!"

Ramona - That was really nice of Annie to help us out like that…..maybe i misjudged her.

Annie - That's what I get for being nice.

The monster roared and picked up the three teens. It carried them to the bounce house and tossed them in unceremoniously. The camera cut to a fake car, just next to where they picked up and the three heads popping out from behind it.
"That was close," Evan told his partners. The monster tapped him on the shoulder and the camera cut to a front view of the monster and stared down the three teens. It returned to the side view as the monster reached a hand out to grab at them.
(Commercial Break)
The episode returned to show Nick hiding a few miles back of Evan and Chelsea..and he realized he was now alone. I can' believe i pulled that off," he said to himself. He went on the outer bands of the main area so he could sneak there.

Nick - i'm gonna conclude that Chef shouldn't try a career in bounty hunting.

The camera flashed to the outside of the bouncy house, and the snoring heard from within. Nick finally trugged to the castle and fell over.
"What took you so long?" Brenda demanded.
"I got lost," Nick defended.
"Can you get use out of here?" Annie said irritated before she heard a pop as the whole structure deflated.
"So now what?" Faith asked and she walked form under it. The monster walked by again, stepping on the trailer to the right. Chris walked out the other trailer.
"Whoa," he said. "Am i ever glad i chose to wait in this trailer," he pointed a thumb to the one he just left. "It looks like you all made it, guess I lost the bet. That was just a warm-up. Good New is, your next challenge is a reward." The castaways chereed.
"It will be the boys against the girls, with the winner getting the first pick of the trailers where you will be living for the next Forty-Two days. You will have the choice of Trailer A," he gestured to the one he exited earlier, "or trailer….beesh." the camera showed the newly destroyed trailer. "Off to the craft services tent!"
XXXXXXX
The static cut to the outside of the craft services tent before cutting inside. The camera panned down a table with an impressive buffet. "Nice food," Ramona commented.
"This looks better than the Awake-a thon buffet," Evan commented.
"It's another eating contest!" Louis said suddenly. "And i'm gonna win it!" He ran off screen to the table. The castmates watched as Louis devoured an entire buffet.
"So Louis," Chris said to the boy. "How was it."
"The meat was dry," he said simply.
"Not surprising," the host said. "Since the food was fake. It was just props made from silicone, saw dust, foam care, and wax," He explained as the camera cut to Chef standing next to the materials.
"It wasn't an eating contest," he continued. "It was a contest to find the key."
"Oh you mean this key?" Louis said as he pulled it from his coat.
"That would be the one," Chris confirmed. "And since you win, you get the first pick of the trailers," The boys cheered at this announcement.
Confessional
Caleb - I knew that wasn't real food, but watching Louis devour fake food was way too interesting to watch.
Nick - Nice to know he's good for something
Lamar - Never in a million years would I put that much garbage in my stomach.
Brenda - He might've won the challenge but he's also still an idiot.

The scene cut to the castmates standing outside the trailers. "I chose," Louis said. "The one that isn;'t squashed," The guys cheered and the girls groaned. The monster stomped on the boy's trailer, stopping they're celebrations.

Jonathan - Probably should've seen that coming.

The static cut to Chef hammering away at the girl's newly rebuilt trailer. Then panned down to Chris driving past the guy's rebuilt trailer on the golf cart. "Okay everyone," he said. "Get a good night's sleep because you have a seriously early wake-up call. Call time is six AM sleep quickly"
The camera flashed to inside the guy's trailer. They were all standing around and claiming they're bunks. "I call the top bunk," Evan said.
"I'll grab the bottom," Chrsitian told him and the two walked off.
"Lamar," Garry asked, "Wanna share a bunk?"
"Sure," Lamar said. "I take the top."
"I'm sleeping on the bottom," Caleb told them.
"I'll take the top with you," Jonathan replied.
"That just leaves us, i'm taking the bottom," Nick said to louis.
"Dangit," Louis replied.
The camera flashed to the inside of the girl's trailer, who were also deciding they're sleeping arrangements.
"Since no one really likes them," Ramona suggested, "Chelsea and Brenda should bunk together."
"You mean because no one likes Chelsea," Brenda corrected.
"I meant what I said," Ramona replied. "Molly, wanna bunk?"
"Sure," Molly replied. "I'll take the top,"
"I'll bunk with Jasmine," Faith declared.
"Guess that leaves you and me," Donna told Annie.
The camera flashed again to outside the trailers. Chris popped up from behind the girl's trailer. And shushed the camera. "They're sleeping," he whispered. Then he pulled out a megaphone, and yelled into it. "THIS IS YOUR 5AM WAKE UP CALL," the girls were woken up with a scream and the host chuckled. "I'm only kidding you can sleep," he pointed the megaphone at the guy's trailer and added, "For now." The guys signed in relief. He sounded an air horn and smiled as a scream was heard from the trees behind him, then a thud.
"And that's a wrap for day one," he told the camera. "How will Louis fare with a stomach full of foam core and sawdust?" What will tomorrow hold for Garry and Molly? Who knows what drama is in store for our cast? Well I do, but i aint telling. See you next time for another thrilling episode of Total. Drama. Action."
The scene faded to black as he started laughing. The monster roared again and he yelled, "Will someone please put a wrap on that monster?!

Annie - My plan to win? Brute Force obviously.
Author's Note : And that's the premiere, not much to say just some build up to plot lines that will continue through the season.
