Backup Season 02 Episode 03
The group had all left the city of New York though for their own different reasons. While Danielle and Cujo had left to head home to Amity Park to visit their family and the rest of team Phantom and Ship had gone back to Bellwood. Cherit had gone with Den and Harrison to Paris of all places, and Raven not really having anything better to do had decided to go with them. Besides it'd be interesting to see new places without it being a part of the team's missions. We then see a plane landing and cut to Raven stretching out while they were all at the baggage claim area.
"Next time we should try to get Ship to drop us off it's rediculous how slow those planes are." She'd told the guys who both nodded in agreement.
Den then speaks up saying "It can't be helped, he went back to Bellwood before we could ask." while waiting for their luggage to come in and when they finally did they'd checked to make sure everything was there including Cherit who still had to hide for now.
"So what exactly are we doing here in Paris anyway?" Raven then questions after confirming all her stuff was there and zipping up her back before throwing it over her shoulder ready to go.
"A couple of our friends are getting married soon and we decided to come a bit early to help out if needed." Harrison answered making sure he stuff was there too, and then they'd all started to walk off out of the airport.
"We'll be headed to a Foundation run Hotel. Once we get there we can drop our stuff off and let Cherit out of the luggage." Den then stated to them as they waved for a taxi and got in once it had stopped for the three of them.
They'd traveled around seeing the sights on their way to the Hotel but didn't stop and were just looking out at them through the window. They'd spotted the Eifel Tower, but that wasn't really hard to do since it was so big that it was kinda hard to miss. Soon enough they'd made it to the Hotel and paid the taxi driver before getting out with their stuff and heading on inside.
They'd gone to the front desk and the worker there tells them "Sorry but we have no rooms avialable as they've all been rented out for a wedding party." explaining that all the rooms were rented out.
"Oh that's alright, we're with the party." Den explained handing over some paper to them and they'd checked the computer.
"Ah, yes, here it is." The desk worker spoke after getting the information and handed them the keys to where they'd be staying and says "Room numbers are on the keys, we hope you enjoy your stay with us."
They'd taken the keys and went off to the rooms that were indicated on the keys going inside and Den sat that bag with Cherit in it onto the bed opening it up with the little white gargoyle like titan stretching out saying "Finally it was really getting cramped in there." as he continued to stretch and started to fly around the room over to a chair and sitting in it.
"So excited to see our friends at Huntik Foundation again?" Harrison questioned and both Den and Cherit nodded in response though Raven had never met them so she couldn't exactly be excited to see someone she's never met before.
"Maybe we should head over to see how it's going." Den suggested to them saying they could head over to the church to see their friends.
Both Cherit and Harrison both gave seemed to like the idea and so they'd gone together to do that while Raven chose to stay behind in her room for the moment due to jetlag. They chose to go the cenic route so that Cherit could stretch his wings and they could go unnoticed around the area. Eventually they'd gotten close and walked the rest of the way without anyone noticing Cherit who was hiding in Den's bag the rest of the way in.
They went on in to say hello and saw that they were still doing rehersal and so they decided it best to wait for a bit. Once they were done the two went on inside and let Cherit from the bag since everyone knew about him there anyway.
"Hey Cherit it's been awhile." Lok greeted his old pal glad to see them again, "And Den and Harrison are with you, you two staying out of trouble?" He'd then called to the other two.
"Define trouble.." Den spoke in response to the question jokingly as they were coming over to speak with them.
"Uh oh." Sophie spoke in a joking worried tone then looked at Den and Harrison also questioning "What did you two do?"
"Nothing, we're still working the case for the Ectomorphs, now it's involving Wilder and that new sidekick of his Ford." Harrison told them in response before continuing to say "We did find that Young Blood ghost kid and freed him though."
"Ya, but we.. we lost a friend in the process. Guy by the name of Albedo gave everything to help us and.." Den began to say but couldn't quite bring himself to say that Albedo had died saving them from what happened that day.
Cherit had flown over and gently patted Den's shoulder to help him feel better and chose to pick up where he left off saying "We also gained a new friend named Raven. She's here in Paris with us." explaining about what happened after.
"Oh, so she's your plus one?" Dante spoke up questioning them about this Raven person that they'd brought with them.
Harrison then speaks up saying "Nah, she's a teammate and we didn't wanna leave her back at the house alone. Wish I could have brought Veronica as my plus one, though I doubt they'd let a girl who has a spider's abdomen and legs from the waist down onto the plane." finishing his statment with a sigh while shrugging about that.
"A shame she will not be here to see you destroyed." A voice then called out to them, it kinda seemed familiar to them and they'd began to look around and spotted someone they'd thought was long dead.
The figure jumps down and Lok demands "You're supposed to be dead, and now you choose to crash the wedding?" while pointing at them looking angry to see this person.
"Come now, you would not belive that I would be so gauche as to attack during the actual wedding do you boy?" They figure spoke standing up and we see a familiar man standing with a dark head of hair beard looking at them with a twisted sorta look.
"What the hell are you doing here Rassimov?" Dante demanded glaring at them not liking that the guy was there and revealing that it was Rassimov who'd somehow returned.
"You don't truly belive that you could stop me with a Lindorm did you?" Rassimov questioned which caused the others to pause confused to hear what he was saying. "I don't know how you've stolen my Amulets but no matter for I have a far more powerful Titan hidden in my body. Now Unleash Legendary Titan of War Legion!"
The group seemed surprised and stood at the ready waiting for the titan to appear, but.. nothing. The titan wasn't appearing at all and this just confused them all. They'd then heard running and saw a couple of people coming over at the same spot that Rassimov had been and they all turned to see just who it was.
"Rassimov catch!" The blue haired Ford called out throwing something over towards the evil seeker who'd caught it and looked at the amulet to see what he was thrown.
"You've got to be Joking." called Rassimov looking at the amulet looking annoyed at what he was thrown over.
"It's the best we can do on short notice, be glad you're getting one at all after what you pulled back there." Wilder then called glaring at Rassimov as he and Ford jumped down.
"Fine, Fire Away Gigadrone!" Rassimov then called annoyed at the titan he was thrown as the other two held up amulets as well.
"Come on, Mindrone!" Ford then called summoning a titan of his own to join in the fighting since they were basically told they had to by their employer.
"Just so we're clear, I'm only doing this because our Employer demanded it." Wilder spoke looking annoyed about the situation "Destroy Incubane!" and summoned his own titan as well preparing to fight.
"I got this one." Lok called stepping forwards with his eyes flashing to purple as he stepped in between his group and Rassmiov's group.
"Oh please, what exactly could a Mere Boy like you manage against us?" Rassimov questioned while Wilder and Ford were actually holding up their hands with their mouthes open as if to interrupt his laughing.
Rassimov didn't seam scared at all, but the other two knew better from personal experience, the dark haired man was laughing when he'd heard "BLADECALL!" opening his eyes to see Lok now with the Willblade in hand and glowing with a purple energy catching him completely off guard as he then swung the blade knocking the three of them along with their titans back and into the street with impact returning the Titans to their Amulets.
"What was that?" the dark haired seeker then questioned completely caught by genuine surprise that Lok could do that so easily.
"We TRIED to warn you, but Nooo mr. I am leader of the Blood Spirals over here had to go off and do it his way." Ford spoke in a sarcastic and mocking tone annoyed as they were getting up.
"For now we gotta get out of here and fast." Wilder spoke up and called out "Darkfog!" creating a black mist that covered their escape.
"Well, do that again and you'll be taking Montehue's spot as number one right there." Dante spoke to Lok who dismissed the sword with a questioning look, and so he continued on to say "Officially the two of you are even as of your last mission."
"Hey did you guys notice how weird Rassimov was acting, it's like he doesn't remember anything past Atlantis." Sophie then pointed out to them which they'd stopped to think about.
