Hello everyone! If you have been following me, I apologize for the longest wait. I know you have been following me and have been waiting for me to update my other stories. The truth is that, not only have lost inspiration to write, but I have also been writing other fanfics to pass my time. I will try to continue my other works, but for now, I am going to publish a few stories to keep you all entertained.
I am not gonna lie, I have been wanting to do an AU of this story for the LONGEST time but never found a reason to do it. Well, it is mostly because it will be an M rated story and you can find them if you change the search filter, so that is why I decided to make my stories T rating. Now, while this will be a one-shot story, if you all enjoy it, I will continue it but it will only be a few chapters long compare to my other stories. But this story will contain violence, blood, gore and, if am feeling brave enough, a lemon scene. And this story will not only be an AU, but also a What If scenario. If I continue this story, you will understand what that scenario will be.
With that said, enjoy this one shot!
"AAAAAAAHHHH!"
The screams of Sindel, the Queen of Outworld, filled the palace walls as servants were coming and going from the master bedroom. Just outside was Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung, who were both nervous at the moment. Shang Tsung was leaning against the wall and was worried while Shao Kahn was pacing back and forth as the floor beneath him cracked. In the millennium that he has lived and the worlds that he had conquered, this has never happened to Shao Kahn. While he admitted that he had his fair share of carnal pleasures, but none resulted in this situation!
"Everything will be alright, my lord," Shang Tsung assured her father, "Sindel is a tough woman, she will be able to endure this."
Shao Kahn huffed and said "Considering the months she endured, I don't doubt that. But I am more concern on how this was all possible."
"Well," Shang Tsung said while being careful on what to say, "I am sure that…"
"I know HOW it's possible," Shao Kahn said as he gritted his teeth, "I meant HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE!"
"I-I don't know," Shang Tsung replied, "I suppose…it's fate?"
Before Shao Kahn could say anything, Sindel's screams suddenly stopped. No longer hearing the screams, Shao Kahn made his way to the door and stopped as he heard another cry from inside the room.
The cry of an infant child.
Pushing the doors open to the point that the hinges almost broke, Shao Kahn marched into the bedroom as the servants were pushed aside. Standing in front of the bed, Shao Kahn saw his wife sitting on the bed all worn out while holding a small bundle in her arms. Her hair was free and down and was wearing a purple nightgown dress.
She looked up with tears in her eyes and said "My love…would you like to meet your son?"
Hearing the word son, Shao Kahn quickly rushed to his queen's side as he looked down at his infant son. Expecting some sort of small abomination, Shao Kahn saw that his son was normal in terms of appearance and had small brown hair. The infant boy let out a small yawn as he opened his eyes and revealed them to be blue. Seeing his son before him, Shao Kahn reached down as he placed a hand on his little body. While he admitted that he had created beings from scratch to create deadly warriors to serve him, this…this was different. This was just an infant, one that wasn't a warrior nor an assassin. One that wasn't a fully grown adult impeded with any magic or skills. No…this was just a child in infancy. And while he had taken Sindel and Kitana as his own family, this was the first time he had anything created by his own blood naturally.
The infant boy looked up at Shao Kahn and, instead of crying in fear of his sight, the boy merely laughed and held his hands up to him. Sindel smiled and said "I believe that your son wants his father to hold him."
Holding his son in his hands, Shao Kahn held him up as he got a good look as his son as the boy was merely laughing in happiness. Shao Kahn continued to look at his son and asked "What shall we name our son?"
Sindel replied "I was thinking of naming our son Sora. It is another word for sky since his eyes shine like it."
Shao Kahn looked at his son and said "Very well. From this point on, you will be named Sora, the first prince of Outworld."
Just then, a small, black-haired girl appeared into the room, looked at her parents and asked "Mama? Papa?"
Sindel looked the girl, smiled and said "Kitana my dear, come meet your brother."
Excited, Kitana rushed up to her parents as Shao Kahn handed Sora back to Sindel. Kitana jumped onto the bed next to her mother, looked down at her brother and happily said "Hello brother! I am your sister!"
Sora merely laughed as he held his hands out as Kitana carefully held them. Sindel smiled more and said "He is so happy to be with his family. He will become a wonderful person."
"Yes," Shao Kahn said as he looked down at his son, "You will be the future of Outworld."
A thousand years later…
A village in Outworld was on fire as the people were screaming and panicking as they were fleeing from their lives. Some tried to hide in safe places while others weren't spared as Tarkatans mercilessly killed any in their way. The ones who were still alive were spared and were being brought to the outskirts of the village. As many were begging for their lives; men, women, old or young, it did not matter, a figure stood before them all. The figure before them was a male that stood about 5'-6", was skinny but a bit muscular, had light brown skin and spiky brown hair. He was wearing gold plate armor with pointed shoulder pads that covered his shoulders and chest that had red trimmings between the gaps of the armor, golden armored gauntlets with red leather armbands and finger claws, red shorts that had a golden belt and a red tunic over it, golden sandal boots with red clothing on the back, and a white mask that covered his face that almost look demonic skull with orange visors and a golden horn that went sideways from the top of the mask and curved upward. All cower in fear before the figure before them, for the person before them was Sora the Prince of Outworld.
As the prince entered the burning village while the Tarkatans were dealing with the rebels, a few of them rushed up to him with sickles in their hands. Sora huffed as he raised his hand and a giant sword appeared in his hand. The sword was a large broadsword as the blade was black with small hooks at the end of the blade, the guard handle was gold while the handle was red. As one of the rebels was close, Sora swung his sword downward as he cut the man from his left should down to his right hip. The man's body split open as blood and organs shot out. Pushing the man away, Sora grabbed the arm of another rebel man as he crushed the wrist and forced them to let go of their weapon. As the man cried in pain, Sora kicked the other rebel in the chest as they fell to the ground. Dismissing his sword, Sora kicked the man in his right kneecap, which was shattered and bent backwards as the man cried in pain. As the man was forced to his knees, Sora began to punch the man that he has caught in the face as it began to bleed and bruise up. Pushing the crushed arm to the side, Sora then grabbed the man's head as he held his two thumbs close to the man's eyes and he shoved his clawed thumbs into the man's eye sockets. The man screamed in agonizing pain as blood spilled out of this eye socket. Using his strength, Sora completely crushed the man's head into pieces as his headless corpse fell to the ground. Looking over, Sora saw the last rebel crawling away, but he merely walked up to him, summoned his sword and stabbed the man through the back and the ground as he held the man in place. The rebel screamed in pain as he coughed up blood as Sora walked in front of him, lifted his leg and stepped on the man's head, crushing it underneath his foot.
Dismissing his sword, Sora looked ahead and saw five rebels charging up to him with spears in their hands. Huffing at the sight, Sora raised his right hand as it began to glow in white light and, in a flash, a spear of white light appeared in his hand. As the rebels were close, Sora threw the spear of light to the middle one as it went through the rebel. With the flick of his wrist, Sora detonates the spear as it not only explodes the rebel into a bloody mess, but also knocked away the other rebels. Before they got up however, a group of Tarkatans jumped on them and began to tear their flesh and devour them.
A Tarkatan then rushed up to Sora and said "My prince! The villagers are all accounted for!"
Sora nodded as he made his way to the cowering villagers and, once he was close to them, he spoke in a loud deep voice "Silence!"
All the people went silent as Sora said "We have received word that this village has been hiding rebels for the past few months! Make no mistake, we are executing all the rebels as we speak. But you all? You all have committed treason the moment you sheltered traitors!"
"B-But my lord!" one of the men cried out, "W-We were merely…"
All of a sudden, Sora summoned his sword and brought it down upon the man's head as he not only split the man's head in two, but also sliced through the man's body as the sword stopped down to the man's waist. Everyone screamed in horror as blood spudded out of the man's body, some landed on Sora while the organs were all sliced and the intestines were coming out of the man's body. Sora pulled his sword out and tossed the corpse to the side as a few Tarkatans swarmed onto the body and began to devour the flesh of the dead man.
"As I was saying!" Sora shouted, "You all betrayed your emperor the moment you all decided to aid these rebels. IF you would have come with this information earlier, we might have spared all your lives! But now, you will all suffer for your treachery! Take them all away!"
With a wave of his hand, the Tarkatans began to drag each villager one by one from their once home. Looking to his side, Sora saw Baraka walking up to him as the Tarkatan general kneeled before him as he said "Baraka! Report!"
Baraka replied "We have eliminated some of the rebels and have taken the rest as prisoners."
"Use any means of torture to obtain whatever information you can get from them," Sora said.
"And what of the villagers?" Baraka asked.
Sora replied "Only spare a few of them, but only after making them witness their loved ones tortured and devoured by your soldiers."
"You are too generous, my prince," Baraka said as he stood up, "I will see to it at once."
Sora nodded as he held his hand up and a portal of fire appeared and he stepped through it and he teleported to the throne room. Walking up to the throne, he saw his father Shao Kahn sitting on this throne chair. Kneeling down, Sora bowed as Shao Kahn said "What news you bring, boy?"
Sora replied "The mission was a success, my emperor. We have captured a few rebels while killing the rest. I will have them tortured until we get the information we need."
"And the village that sided with the rebels?" Shao Kahn asked.
Sora replied "Burned it to the ground and handed to people over to the Tarkatans. They will be made an example for those who dare betray the throne."
Shao Kahn let out a laughed and said "Well done, son. I should have sent you sooner."
Off to the side, Skarlet, one of Shao Kahn's assassins, stepped forward as she said "I would have been successful if we weren't ambushed."
Sora stood up as he looked over at Skarlet and said "An ambushed that I saved you from, Skarlet. Be grateful that I showed up and saved you. Would hate it if something terrible happened to you."
Skarlet looked at him, smirked under her mask and said "You know…I would be intimidated by you…IF you were intimidating without that mask of yours."
"Hey!" Sora shouted in offense.
He then reached up to his mask and removed it, revealing his handsome face and his ocean blue eyes. He then said in a normal tone of voice "If I showed anyone this face and threatened them with my normal voice, they wouldn't be as threatened as when I wear the mask. I didn't really inherit my father's terrifying aura."
"Enough you two," Shao Kahn said as he looked at Skarlet, "Skarlet, you will head to the dungeons and begin torturing the rebels. See what you can find out."
"At once, my lord," Skarlet replied as she bowed and walked away.
Sora held his mask to the side and asked "Any more assignments for me to take, father?"
Shao Kahn merely shook his head and replied "None at the moment. You are dismissed until I call upon you."
Sora bowed to his father as he headed out of the throne room. Despite looking like a young man to a few people, Sora was indeed around 1,000 years old thanks the Edenian blood that he inherited from his mother and the magic that his father taught him. Normal mortals would go insane for living for such a long time, but that never minded Sora as he had his family, his home, and those who serve his family. And it also doesn't hurt that he carries out his father's will by subjugating those who oppose his rule. While a part of him does feel a bit remorse for harming these people, he won't lie, another part of him enjoys it. Crushing heads with his bare hands, splitting bodies with his sword, ripping people apart, Sora enjoys every it. His mother joked that he inherited his father's bloodlust, and Sora would have to agree with her. After all, he was Shao Kahn's executioner whereas Kitana was his assassin.
Speaking of which.
Walking around the palace, Sora found his sister Kitana as she was walking towards him distracted. Sora waved at her and said in a cheerful tone "Hello sister!"
Looking up, Kitana saw Sora and said "Brother, I see you have returned from another task…father gave you?"
Hearing the slight anger from her voice when she mentioned their father, Sora nodded and said "I have. What about you? Are you going to head out?"
Kitana shook her head and replied "No. I am to prepare for the upcoming tournament."
Sora's eyes shined and excitedly asked "The Mortal Kombat Tournament?! Is it the last one?!"
"It is," Kitana said.
"Goro is so amazing being the champion for this long!" Sora said, "You are lucky you get to attend and even compete."
"Mortal Kombat is no game," Kitana informed Sora, "This last tournament will decide if Earthrealm will merge with Outworld or not."
"I just hope Master doesn't fail like last time," Sora said, "And we were so close too."
Kitana merely rolled her eyes in annoyance and said "Regardless, we must prepare our warriors to…"
"Brother! Sister!~"
Sora looked over Kitana's shoulder while the princess herself mentally cursed and he saw his other sister Mileena skipping towards them. Well, technically she is a clone of Kitana with Tarkatan DNA mixed in. She almost looked like Kitana but her eyes and mouth, and to the extension her teeth, were that of a Tarkatan. And while Kitana wore mostly blue, Mileena would wear purple/pink.
Now beside them, Mileena smiled under her mask and said "It is so good to see my siblings together. I hope you prepare yourself for the tournament, sister.~"
"I am prepared and you are not my sister, you monstrous abomination," Kitana almost screamed at her while glaring daggers at her.
Pretending to be scared, Mileena jogged behind Sora, wrapped her arms around Sora's neck and said in a mock scared tone "Brother! Sister is being mean to me!"
Sora playfully rolled his eyes as he looked at Kitana and said "Kitana, aren't you being a bit harsh to Mileena?"
"I don't see how you would enjoy this," Kitana said with venom in her voice, "How would you feel if father tried to replace you with a monstrous clone?"
Sora replied "Okay, we don't know if that would have happened and there was a bunch more like her. For all we know, he could have been making an army of killer assassins."
"Then why not use your blood instead of mine?!" Kitana screamed.
"They tried and they told me my blood was too unstable," Sora said, "Honestly, if father used my blood to create an army with Tarkatan DNA, I would have been surprised and honored that he would use my blood template."
"You're kidding me," Kitana said, "So you're alright with father doing that to you?"
"I mean, he could have used Skarlet's blood or even Jade's blood," Sora said.
"Don't bring Jade into this," Kitana warned him.
Sora calmed her down and said "My point is that the fact that he used your blood meant that father saw how formidable you are as a warrior and wanted more of you to fight for him."
"You mean replace me," Kitana said with anger in her voice.
A bit hurt, Sora carefully moved Mileena aside as he walked up to Kitana and said "Kitana, father would never…"
"YOUR father," Kitana said, "Believe me, if it weren't for you, I would have left him and mother a long time ago. Now…if you excuse me…I have to go prepare."
Turning her back on him, Kitana walked away. Sora sighed sadly as Mileena walked up to him and said "Do not worry, big brother. She will come around. If not, I am here for you.~"
"I know…" Sora looked at her, "But…she is still our sister and I want us to be family again…"
"Mother did say to be patient with her," Mileena said, "But then again, I hate being patient!"
Sora then pets her and said "Calm down, sister. Let that frustration out in the tournament."
Mileena whined and said "And why can't you come? You never come to compete!"
Sora shrugged and said "Someone has to keep things in order around here. Well…if I can convince father…then maybe?"
"I hope he let's you! You would do wonderfully!" Mileena said excitedly.
"And you need to get ready," Sora said.
"Very well, see you again, brother," Mileena said as she headed off.
Sora once again sighed as he made his way to his room. Along the way, he remembered the day he found Mileena and that sparked a lot of drama from it. He found her by accident as he went to the Flesh Pitts one day to talk to his master Shang Tsung, and when he wasn't around, that is where Sora discovered Mileena and the other clones. He was shocked at first, but when he saw Mileena and called him brother, he was a bit touched that she immediately recognized him as her brother. However, when he brought Mileena to the throne room, that is when Kitana was enraged and tried to attack Mileena were it not for the interference of Sora. And that is when Shao Kahn told the truth to Kitana that he wasn't his real father and that Kitana's real father was the former king of Edenia and that he took Kitana and her mother as his prize. Of course, Kitana from that day on resented the family for the lies that she has been told. Though Kitana told him that she never hated him, but a part of Sora thinks that she hates him since he was the 'unholy' union of Shao Kahn and Sindel. Sometimes, Sora wished that he never found Mileena…but every time he sees Mileena and how eager she wants to be a family, he pushes that thought to the side.
Sighing, Sora headed to his room and opened the doors. His room was massive as it was a large center room with different furniture, couches, and a large doorway that led to a balcony. There were a few doors that led to different rooms: one to his bedroom, one to a bathing room, and one to a training room.
And of course, there was one other thing that Sora was looking forward to.
"Welcome back, my prince."
Hearing the voice, Sora smiled as he looked over and saw a young woman, who was about the same height as him, with short red hair, blue eyes, light tan skin and had a body with amazing curves. She was wearing a revealing white dress that that reached above her knees and showed off most of her upper body as the dress with only the dress covering the front of her breasts, a thin golden chain that wrapped itself around her waist as it acted as a belt, and golden metal cuffs on her wrists, ankles and her neck. The woman before Sora was his concubine named Kairi. Well, technically she is his concubine, but between just the two of them, they were lovers.
She herself was a pureblooded Edenian, much like his mother, sister and Jade, so Kairi also had extended life. While she was Edenian, she was not royalty like his family and she was married to some disgusting noble slob who was mistreating and using her for his pleasure. That was until Sora arrived at her village one day and executed her husband for speaking out against Queen Sindel for surrendering to Shao Kahn. And so, Sora burned his home to the ground, executed his friends and family and running a stake through his body while leaving his corpse out for all to see. And that is when he saw Kairi for the first time…and the two were immediately drawn to each other, like some unexplained force was bringing the two of them together. He brought Kairi back to the palace and told his father that he brought the girl to claim as his prize. His father of course was glad to hear that he was becoming a man and was already claiming a concubine for himself. Though Sora could tell that Kairi was slightly offended to be a concubine, but it was the only way for Sora to convince his father to keep her. They have been together ever since.
Before Sora was about to embrace her, Kairi gently placed a hand on his chest to stop him and then held it up to him as he saw blood on her hand as she said "Are you going to clean up first?"
Embarrassed, Sora chuckled and said "Right, sorry. Didn't realized I had blood on me."
As he made his way to the bathing room, Kairi followed him and asked "Your father sent you on another mission?"
"Yeah," Sora said as he was taking off his armor and setting it to the side to have it cleaned later, "It was fairly simple enough for me to handle."
Kairi then gave him a concern look and asked "And…what about the people who were hiding the rebels?"
Sora stood there for a moment as he looked down and replied "I only spared a few of them this time. Trust me, I would have spared them all, but they knew what they were getting themselves into when they decided to aid the rebels."
Kairi sighed sadly and said "But regardless…I wish you could have shown some mercy. I mean…I know how you really are."
As she blushed, Sora was stripped of his armor as he was still in his shorts and his body was in fully display. She had to admit, Sora was the embodiment of perfection as he stood tall with muscles that would make men envy him. He then walked up to her as he leaned down and placed his forehead against hers and said "I know, my love. As much as I want to, I am the prince and I cannot show any weakness to anyone. But…at least when I am here alone with you, I can be myself."
Kairi smiled and said "I am honored, my prince."
"Please…" Sora said as he grabbed her and held her close, "It is only us, Kairi. You can say my name."
"Of course…Sora," Kairi said.
Sora then leaned down and kissed her on the lips
What did you all think of this? I always loved the idea of what if Sora was the son of someone like Shao Kahn. While yes he is a kind-hearted person, but he still has his evil bloodlust that he inherited from his father. And while Mortal Kombat retconned the relationship between Shao Kahn and Sindel, I still like it and was strangely wholesome. So, I figure I use that for this story as a groundwork for it. While Kitana is still against Shao Kahn and her mother, she still loves her little brother since he is still 'innocent' in all of this, which was one of the reasons why she puts up with them. I also added Mileena in this considering how her character is, so I hope you like that.
And yes, I did add Kairi into this story because come on, you know it was meant to be. While her story is a bit different and, shall we say, morally questionable, I still hope I made it work in this story. While I did had something else in mind for her, but I felt like this scenario would be okay since I did want this to be a one shot or, if you all like it, a short little story.
Regardless, I hope you all enjoy this, if you like it, I will continue a few chapters for this and see you all next time! Take care and see you all soon!
