"Who is more hard working?" Paris asked.

"Marty." Rory replied within an instant.

"Who has the better looks?" She questioned.

"Very close but probably Logan." Rory answered, hesitating.

"Who is more intellectual?" Paris continued briskly.

"Logan" Rory said smiling as she remembered his love of books, lessons and anything educational.

"Who's kinder?"

"Logan" Rory said quickly.

Paris raised her eyebrows.

"What?!" Rory exclaimed.

Paris raised her eyebrows further.

"Fine, Marty" Rory grumbled.

"I'm afraid that it is a tie" Paris said professionally.

Rory groaned,

"How the hell am I going to work out who I want to date most?" she said sighing, pressing her forehead to the cool glass of the window.

"You are going to have to date both of them for a while and decide who you like more" Paris announced like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"That would be disloyal to Marty as I have told you already" Rory said annoyed.

"What Marty doesn't know can't hurt him, or Logan either" Paris said sharply.

"I don't want to be that girl in every high school drama who does something behind someone's back and then they find out about it and never forgive her" Rory said exasperated.

"What other option is there?" Paris asked.

"I just- I don't want to hurt either of them with secrets" Rory mumbled.

"They won't find out. I promise." Paris said solemnly.

Rory did something very rare and hugged Paris. Paris stayed statue still and awkward.

So. What's the first step?" she asked Paris.

"Why don't you ask them both on a date?" Paris said.

"Fine, I'll call them now" Rory confirmed.

Ring a Ding. Ring a Ding. Ring a Ding. Ring a Ding. Ring a Ding. Ring a Ding. Ring a Ding.

Logan smiled as he saw the number. The most beautiful girl in the world was calling him. His face fell

when he remembered that she was now with Marty, he forced a smile onto his face as he picked up the phone.

"Hiya Ace" he said nonchalantly.

"Hi Logan" the voice he loved so very much answered.

"Why are you calling?" he asked.

"Do you dislike me calling you? Rory questioned.

Logan paused to grin at her hurt voice, "No, but I was under the impression that as a newly found couple, you were going to spend the evening with Marty." He explained.

"Well this is why I'm calling." Rory paused.

"Me and Marty just didn't work out and I was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner on Friday" She asked, lying through her teeth.

For a split second Logan was overwhelmed with joy, and then he realised that if Rory and Marty had broken up so rapidly then something serious must have happened.

"You alright?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine, so you don't want to go to dinner…" Rory asked disappointed.

"No, I want to!" Logan backtracked as fast as he could.

"Well then, see you on Friday, Huntzberger" she said.

The phone went dead. Logan smiled to himself, and looked at the image of Rory on his bedstand. She was his and this made him the happiest he had been since the time Collin had told him he could move out of his parents house and go live with him.

Ring a Ding. Ring a Ding. Ring a Ding. Ring a Ding Ring a Ding. Ring a Ding.

"Hello Love" Rory said, grinning at the delight it caused him to call Rory that.

"Hi Marty" Rory said.

"I was thinking, since we're official, do you want to go on a date on Saturday?" she asked.

"I believe you stole my lines but yes" Marty said eagerly.

"Where to?" she asked.

"I was thinking, since I had a Party yesterday, the waiter gave me all the remaining curries, and they are delicious. Do you want to just come to my Dorm, have curry, cuddle up and maybe watch a film like the old days?" he asked.

"Yes!" Rory said, genuinely pleased by this offer.

"Oops, I have to go babe" Marty said sadly.

"Love you" Rory said half heartedly.

"Love you more" Marty said.

The phone went dead.
