Just earlier, the Rangers had gone through several monsters, leaving only six left. But they knew the same old song and dance. Lord Zedd had thrown his growth grenades to his monsters on Earth. They caught them in their hands and pulled out the pins from them. "Let's take it to the next level." Saliguana hissed.
"Go big or go home!" Soccadillo added. Then they either threw the bombs all to the ground or slammed them into the ground with them still holding it. The fiery energy from the bomb grow and created a steamy burst, charging the monsters with growth energy. Each of them laughing as they did.
"Look at me, I'm bigger then a tree!" Dramole growled.
"I see Angel Grove from here!" Grumblebee said.
"Waaaaaaaait! Where's Eye Guy?" Robogoat asked.
"Mine's a dud!" Eye Guy shouted from below as nothing has happened to him.
"You idiotic cluster of optic nerves! You threw down the pin! Really, all those eyes and you didn't see?" Saliguana asked.
"Oh, how embarrassing…To be fair, my brain's still a bit whoozy from what Beamcaster did to me." Eye Guy said. "Going to grow now, wait up!" Eye Guy threw the right part of the grenade to the ground this time. He went giant and laughed evilly.
"Yeah, dude! The moment's gone." Soccadillo said.
"Oh…" Eye Guy said, sounding disappointed. "You know, what, I'll just crush them."
"You know what to do guys, let's summon the Zords!" Tommy said.
"We need Thunderzord Power, now!" the Rangers all said as they reached with their hands towards the skies.
"Mastodon Lion Thunderzord Power!" Adam said. The Mastodon came on the scene and turned into the Chinese Lion-themed Zord with a burst of black lightning.
"Pterodactyl Firebird Thunderzord Power!" Kimberly said. The Pterodactyl flew in and with a burst of pink lightning turned into a Chinese Phoenix/Firebird.
"Triceratops Unicorn Thunderzord Power!" With a burst of blue lightning, the Triceratops turned into the mystical horse-themed being.
"Sabertooth Tiger Griffin Thunderzord Power!" With a burst of Yellow Lightning, the prehistoric feline turned into something that was called a Griffin but they weren't sure it actually was a Griffin.
"Tyrannosaurus Red Dragon Thunderzord Power!" Red lightning struck the king of dinosaurs and it became an Eastern red dragon.
"White Tiger Thunderzord Power!" Tommy said as the Tiger came running on the scene. Each of the Rangers entered the cockpits of their Zords. "And last but not least, we call upon Tor, the Shuttle Zord!" A burst of green light later, and the turtle Zord stood there, letting out its strange metallic Zord.
"You know, we don't often get to fight with the individual Zords, we normally go straight to Megazord Mode." Aisha pointed out.
"There are a lot of aspects of our arsenal and gear we don't use nearly as much." Billy noted.
"Er, it's often faster and easier to use the stronger Megazord combo." Rocky noted.
"Though right now, because they have numbers, we need to rely on numbers. Whittle them down!" Tommy noted. The White Tiger roared, with the other Zords following its example. The monsters also roared in as they also charged in. Both sides clashed and it was a free-for-all!
"Come on, big fella, lets do this!" Soccadillo went up against Tor, the Shuttle Zord. Tor cried out and fired its cannons. Soccadillo curled up in a ball, and its armor took the worst, but he was pushed back, then he rolled at Tor, knocking him back. Tor just shook his head and cried out. "You're too slow, you big lug!" he started to run around the big Zord, slashing him where ever he could. Tor was slow to turn around and couldn't catch him.
"Whatcha gonna doing about it, huh? Whatcha gonna do?" Soccadillo's claws may not do too much damage against his armor, but he could whittle it down over time. Though he wouldn't have that time as he taunted the turtle by poking his nose. "Can't do jack, you overgrown…" He got too cocky and too close, and Tor snapped his jaws around his arm. "Ah! He's biting me! He's biting me. Get off! Get off!" Then the Turtle Zord retracted his legs. "What are you going to dooooooooooooooooooo?" Soccadillo suddenly found that Tor could not move very fast on his legs, but he could his shell around really fast with legs retracted, dragging the armadillo monster around before letting him go and throwing him to the ground.
"Urgh, my head…" Soccadillo said. He got up to see Tor was now standing up in his warrior mode, and aimed his cannon fingers at him. "Crud!" it fired and Soccadillo was pelted, whom cried out in pain.
"Two for one, it's my lucky day!" Saliguana said as he confronted both the Griffin and Unicorn Thunderzord. He inhaled and shot fired, but the two Zords weathered the storm.
"How about a taste of your own medicine?" Aisha said as her Griffin spat fireballs. Not mythologically accurate, but cool. Saliguana didn't like being on the other end of the fireballs.
"For todays' class, I'll teach you about gravity. These are rocks without gravity…" Billy's Unicorn activated its gravity powers to levitate some rocks. "And this is when Gravity returns. It comes down again!" the rocks then pelted Saliguana.
"That little pony and…whatever that other thing is, they're not taking the micky out of me!" Saliguana shot out its tongue and wrapped around the Griffin.
"Rewind!" Aisha said as the Griffin's time powers caused time to rewind, and the tongue to be sent back to Saliguana. Now the lizard ended up wrapped in his own tongue. "We really should use these powers more-"
"We kind of put that deceased equine through enough physical blunt force trauma." Billy noted. He heard his Zord whinny. "Matter of speech, Uni." Billy saw Saliguana struggling to free himself from his own tongue. "Normally I don't resort to such crude methods, but I can see the humor in this one." Billy's Unicorn Zord's small horn suddenly extended to a worrying length and rushed at Saliguana. Whom unfortunately had his back turned at him. So that horn struck him in his posterior. Saliguana was now untied, but he jumped into the air, screaming his head off and his eyes bulging out of his head. It was utterly hilarious.
The Lion Thunderzord was up against Eye Guy. "Down, Kitty!" Eye Guy fired his eye beams, but the armored Lion Thunderzord weathered it. "What are you going to do, I got hundreds of eyes. Any trick you have, I can see coming from a mile away!"
"You are all eyes and no brains, check this trick out!" Adam said as he initiated the rarely-used but neat ability of his Lion Thunderzord. The sky turned green and mist filled the area.
"Oh, a change in scenery. I'm so scared!" Eye Guy mocked. He then saw someone in leather coming towards him. "Isn't that the Mondo the Magician guy?" It looked like him indeed, and the guy slashed at Eye Guy, before running off, slapping his butt to mock him and vanishing. "What the frick?" Eye Guy asked.
"Gotta love that Lion Illusion." Adam noted.
The Firebird Thunderzord was in aerial combat with Grumblebee. They trades projectiles, respectively fireballs and stingers. "Grumblebee is not afraid of spicy chicken." Grumblebee taunted. They continued to trade projectiles, until Grumblebee grazed the wing of the Firebird, and it crashed into the ground. "Bullseye. Now to deliver the final blow!" Grumblebee said as he zoomed towards the downed Zord.
"Psyche!" Kimberly said as the Firebird got up again, took flight and whipped up a whirlwind.
"Oh, no!" Grumblebee was caught in the wind storm and was spinning around heavily. "I'm getting dizzy! Put me down!"
"Ok!" Kimberly said.
"Not like thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis!" Grumblebee was flung into the ground. "I think I mighty throw up…"
The Red Dragon Thunderzord confronted Dramole. "I'm not afraid of a big garter snake." Dramole said as he raised his arms and sprayed deadly gas from his body. The Red Dragon wasn't impressed and breathed fire…igniting the gas.
Dramole was scorched, and now looked comically black and scorched. "That was not my brightest idea…" he said as he coughed up smoke.
"Bad for you, because I have a bright idea. Red Dragon Thunderzord, convert to Warrior Mode!" Rocky said. The head and tail of the Red Dragon detached. The legs of the Red Dragon came together and formed the arms, while the long elongated body came together to form the body and legs. The Red Dragon's head folded down to reveal the humanoid face and attached to the rest of the body. The Red Dragon Thunderzord warrior mode struck a pose.
"It doesn't change a thing. It now looks more punch-able!" Dramole charged at him.
"Red Dragon Staff!" Rocky called out as the Red Dragon summoned its weapon. It planted it into the ground and delivered a series of windmill kicks to Dramole, knocking him back. "Now to finish him!" The Red Dragon spins his staff weapon around as it glowed magenta.
"You don't scare me!" Dramole growled. However, the Red Dragon shot towards him, slashed with his staff, leaving a trail of magenta light. It hit Dramole straight up. "Now I'm scared!" he said as he fell down and exploded.
Robogoat saw the White Tigerzord heading towards him. "This little laaaaamb is no predator's prey!" He said as he fired blasts from his staff at him. The Tigerzord was way to quick and agile and avoided the blasts before pouncing on Robogoat. The goat monster held his staff in front of him, pushing the tiger back as hard as he could, while trying not to think about the snapping jaws full of sharp teeth and the sharp claws. "Aaaaaaah! Get off me!" he pushed the tiger off.
"Time to make lamb stew out of you. White Tigerzord, convert to Warrior Mode!" Tommy put Saba into the console. The hind legs of the tiger folded in to form humanoid legs. The front legs claws folded into arm guards, showing humanoid hands. It's upper body folded down so the Tiger head was now on its chest as a human-like head folded out. The Tigerzord Warrior mode stood there, brandishing the Tiger's tail, now a sword.
"That little Butterknife is no match for my Robo-staff!" Robogoat said. Right before the Tiger's sword cleaved it in half. "Uh-oh!"
"Uh-oh indeed." Tommy said. He grabbed one of the spheres from behind him and put it inside the console. "White Tiger, Thunderbolt! Now!" The White Tigerzord powered up, a glowing symbol in the mouth of the tiger head on his chest appearing. He took aim and shot the energy ball at Robotgoat, striking him dead on. The Goat monster let out a final bleat before falling down and exploding.
"Thunderzords, fire!" Kimberly said as the Firebird, Lion, Unicorn and Griffin Thunderzords fired energy blasts form their mouths, while Tor fired his cannons at Grumblebee.
"Squashed like a bug!" the insectoid monster said as he fell down and exploded too.
"We are done for, aren't we?" Soccadillo gulped.
"Before we die, I always hated you guys!" Eye Guy said.
"Let's take it up a notch, let's form the Thunder Megazord!" Rocky suggested. Everyone agreed.
The Lion, Griffin, Unicorn and Firebird Thunderzords were zapped with lightning of their respective colors and folded in the form of armor. The red Dragon jumped up and landed with his legs inside the Griffin and Unicorn, whom formed the boots of the armor. The Firebird wrapped around the waist, the Lion becoming the chest and arm armor. Then the final piece, the helmet folded over the Red Dragon Thunderzord's head.
"Thunder Megazord, power up!" the main five said.
"They shifted from seven targets down to three, maybe it is a more even fight now!" Soccadillo said excited.
"You poor naïve child." Saliguana droned.
The Thunder Megazord pulled out a weapon that Is composed of the staff of the Red Dragon Thunderzord and the tailfeathers of the Pink Firebird Thunderzord. The upper part, the tailfeathers whom had beome the spear tip, spun around quickly and whipped up a storm. It blew rocks and rubble towards the monsters.
The rocks hit Soccadillo in the face. "Not the face! My modeling career is ruined!"
Saliguana was hit in the stomach. "Urp! That snake stew from earlier is coming back up!"
Eye Guy was hit between the legs. "My eyes!" he moaned in a higher pitched tone.
"We call upon the Thunder Megazord Saber!" the core five Rangers said as the Thunder Megazord unsheathed the sword, powered it up with lightning and then slashed at Eye Guy with it. He screamed as he fell down and exploded.
"All right. But now let's switch it up! Mega Tigerzord!" Tommy said. The other Thunderzords detached from the Red Dragon Thunderzord and instead combined with the White Tigerzord. The Griffin and Unicorn attached to the legs, the Lion attached to the shoulders and back and the Firebird to the right arm. The White Tigerzord's visor folded over his face and opened up. The formation was now complete.
"Hit him! He's way slower and an easier target!" Saliguana said as he pointed at Soccadillo.
"If they don't kill you, I will!" the armadillo monster said dryly.
The Tiger head's mouth glowed again with another symbol, the Mega Tigerzord aimed the firebird as it shot forwards. It was engulfed in light from the tiger head and turned into a flaming projectile, and it shot right through Saliguana's chest. He dropped down and blew up.
"And then there was one…" Rocky said.
"Now, since we have been going through all of our combinations, let's use the Thunder Ultrazord while we're at it." Adam noted.
"That and we can't leave poor Tor left out." Aisha said.
"Well, I'm for it! I call upon the power of the Thunder Ultrazord!" Tommy said.
Tor's shell opened so that the White Tigerzord could go inside. Once it closed, the Thunderzord Assault team, with the Red dragon Thunderzord Warrior Mode riding on top attached to his shell.
"Crud!" Soccadillo said as he had to hold himself back from evacuating his bowels.
The Red Dragon Thunderzord spins his staff above him, rising the entire mecha contraption in the air. Then the Red Dragonzord stopped spinning his staff, and the Ultrazord came down like a heavy projectile, on top of the monster. Explosions came from under Tor, but it only tickled his tummy.
"That will teach you guys not to mess with the Power Rangers!" Tommy said.
"You are really hamming it up right?" Kimberly asked.
"Admit it, you all enjoy doing it." Tommy noted.
"Ok, we do." Kimberly said.
"Woo, what a day. But Zedd and Rita still got hitched." Billy noted.
"We fended the both of them off before in the past. We will do so again. We will never stop fighting!" Tommy said.
"Indeed. Let them come at us. We will always find a way." Rocky said.
"Not today though, I'm tired." Adam sighed. No one could disagree.
The heroes would be in for many more fights in the future. But they knew they would be able to handle anything as long as they faced it together.
