Oneshot 4 title: I love you (Tiny Pretty Things)

Oneshot 4 summary: When Caleb gets sick during class, Monique takes care of him in her bedroom, where a revelation comes to light for both Director and student.

Caleb Wick pouts as his Director and lover locks her bedroom door and not in a "don't disturb" kind of way.

"I'm fine, Monique." The young dancer lies as he makes his way to the large bed in the middle of the room, toeing off his shoes. Truthfully he feels like dog crap. He closes his green eyes as he leans back against the pillows that are up against the headboard.

"Oh really?" Comes her voice from the door what she's leaning against, watching him with a smirk on her face. Caleb nods his head, not opening his eyes. "Then why did I have to come and get you from class where you were looking like you'd pass out if you're fine?" She asks. Caleb groans. He feels like a tank has run over him: his muscles hurt, his nose is stuffed, he's hot and cold and just wants to sleep for a year and a half.

"Maybe because I just wanted to see you." Caleb quips with a smile, opening his eyes. Monique is smirking. "You didn't need to get ill just to see me, but because you are sick, you are getting a shower, and then you're getting into bed and sleeping until I wake you up." Monique demands, Caleb groans before getting off the bed.

"I want to kiss but you'll get sick." Caleb says to her before he walks to the chest of drawers and gets a pile of his clothes he keeps in her third drawer and heads into the bathroom, ducking under the hot spray of the water, hoping it'll make him feel better.

Monique DuBois watches as her young dancer and lover comes out of the bathroom dressed in his sweatpants and a short-sleeved t-shirt that he keeps in her third drawer. The shower seems to have helped him, if only a little bit. Caleb crawls into bed and sighs as his eyes close with exhaustion. Her blue eyes are full of sympathy as she observes Celebs' green eyes flutter closed.

Monique sees that her lover is in a deep sleep, the Director unlocks the door to her room and slips out, locking the door behind her and walking to her office.

In her office, Monique sits at her desk, her laptop logged on. She needs to get some work done but she can't focus on the work in front of her when Caleb is sick in her bed, alone. Sighing heavily, Monique logs off her laptop, grabs her rarely used car keys and leaves her office, telling Selena that she's heading out to the store and not to contact her unless it's an emergency. The faithful assistant nods and watches as Monique leaves the school, and Caleb.

Monique unlocks her bedroom door and steps into it, shopping bags in her hands, and re-locks her door. The room is dark, darker than she remembers it being, Caleb is still asleep, the covers twisted around his lean body. Taking off her coat, putting her purse and keys near the door, she slips off her heels and takes out the thermometer out of a bag along with a bottle of cold and flu medicine she knows he'll fight tooth and nail not to take.

"Monique?" A quiet voice comes from her bed. She walks over to the bed barefoot with the thermometer, bottle of medicine and a bottle of water, puts them on the nightstand and sits in front of him. Caleb has sat up in bed and is leaning against the headboard looking sick. She puts her hand to his head and feels his forehead, and he's hot to the touch. Monique turns on the thermometer and sticks it in his mouth. "Keep it there until I come back." She orders Caleb before changing out of her work outfit and into jeans and a sweater, leaving her feet bare in the bathroom. After splashing her face with cold water and drying it, Monique walks out just as the device in Caleb's mouth is beeping. She takes it out and reads his temperature and frowns. 100.2. She sighs as she puts the thermometer down on the table and picks up the medicine to which Caleb groans.

"Monique, I don't need that!" He whines like a child and buries his head in the pillow. Monique chuckles at his behavior. "Caleb, you need this to get better." She says, pouring the red medicine into the plastic cap and holding it out to Caleb. Caleb sits up and takes the medicine, grimacing as it travels down his throat. He hands the empty cap back to Monique who smiles as he falls asleep.

"I love you, Monique DuBois." Caleb says sleepily, Monique raises her hand to her mouth in shock.

How can anyone love me, the cruel Director? She thinks to herself, getting off the bed and settling herself in the armchair beside the bed, watching as Caleb breathes in and out.

Caleb wakes up to a patch of sunlight shining through the crack in the curtains. He turns his head and sees Monique asleep in the armchair, her head propped by her fist. She looks peaceful, beautiful as always, but very peaceful. The dancer thinks to himself as he lies and simply stares at the blonde woman. He feels much better than he did a few hours ago, most likely thanks to that horrid medicine Monique made him take.

Suddenly he's staring into a pair of blue eyes. Her eyes.

"How are you feeling?" She asks him, sitting up. Caleb gives her a small smile.

"Better, thanks." He thanks her. Monique smiles as she joins him on the bed.

"Caleb, you said something before you fell asleep." Monique says after a few minutes after they've sat in silence for a few minutes. Caleb's lips twitch into a smile. "Do you remember?" she asks, Caleb's smile falters. Of course I do. Caleb thinks to himself. He looks away in shame. A hand is on his arm.

"Hey, look at me." She orders softly. Unable to ignore her orders, he looks at her and he's being kissed by her. Caleb pulls away from her amn cups her face in one hand.

"I love you, Monique DuBois." Caleb says softly.

"I love you too, Caleb Wick." Monique replies just as softly.
