-Act I: The Former Decepticon-
-Chapter 1 - Car Problems-
-Port Macquarie, New South Wales - May 29th, 2023-
Samantha Brooks looks under the hood of her car, a Holden Apollo, coolant is leaking from a pipe and she sighs
"Bloody sick of this car.." She whispers to herself
Her boss, Alec Johnson walks down the sidewalk to his store and greets Sam
"Morning." Alec says
"Mornin', Alec." Sam says
"More car problems, I'm guessing?" Alec asks
"Mate, I'm bloody sick of this car." Sam explains
"I can tell." Alec says
Alec walks over to Sam's car and takes a look in the hood, and he finds the problem - a loose pipe
"Oh, it's just a loose pipe, Sam. Nothin' to worry about." Alec explains, fitting the pipe back into place, stopping the leak
"Thanks, Alec." Sam says
"No worries." Alec says, unlocking the door to his store
Sam walks into the store behind Alec, his store is a used music store which was previously owned by his father
The walls around the store are lined by cabinets, containing vinyl records, CDs, cassettes
Alec and Sam walk behind the counter of the store, beginning their shift
"So, how've you been this morning?" Alec asks
"I mean.. other than the car, pretty good." Sam says
"Me and Millie finally have some time to see each other, so I'm going down there tomorrow." Sam explains
"Nice!" Alec says
"How's she doing?" Alec asks
"She is doing very well, her classes are going well and overall, she's happy." Sam explains
Alec pulls out his phone and checks the time, it's 8:32am, 2 minutes past opening
"They should be here any minute now." Alec says
As he says that, the remaining employees arrive, siblings Clancy and Rosie Bishop
"Mornin'." Clancy and Rosie says
"Morning." Sam and Alec respond
"Judging from the past week, Sam, I'm guessin' you've had car problems again?" Rosie asks
Clancy and Rosie walk behind the counter
"Of course I did." Sam says
"Seriously?!" Clancy asks
"Mh-hmm." Sam says
"Sam, you've gotta replace that thing, seriously." Rosie says
"I mean.. It hasn't fallen apart yet, so.. I'll keep it for the time being." Sam explains
"Honestly, Sam.. I agree with Rosie." Alec explains
"You've had problems for the past week, at this point I'm convinced that you could just tap it and you'll have more problems." Alec explains
Sam sighs, "Fair enough." She says
"I mean.. you don't have to if you don't want to." Rosie says
"It's just a suggestion." Rosie explains
"No, no, I agree. But that is the car I came up here with, so it's just nice keeping it around." Sam explains
"We're not saying you have to get rid of it, just get a replacement." Clancy explains
Sam nods, "Alright, I'll go to Bernie's when I head off." Sam explains
After they finish their conversation, their first customer of the day walks in
-Chapter 2 - Banished-
-Iacon, Cybertron-
A large Decepticon dropship flies over an army of Autobots, gunfire reigns down upon the ship as Decepticon soldiers fire back from above
Tarn, Decepticon soldier and leader of this army opens up the cargo door of the dropship
He sighs and turns to face his soldiers
"Ready?" Tarn asks, calmly
"YES SIR!" The Decepticon soldiers yell
Tarn leaps from the dropship, firing a barrage of shots at multiple Autobots
He lands on an unsuspecting Autobot, crushing them. Tarn rolls into cover and begins to fire rounds at the oncoming Autobot army
Across the battlefield, Autobot scout Sideswipe and his partner Outback hide behind cover
Sideswipe peers over the cover, lowering his head to dodge a shot
"Scrap, Tarn's here." Sideswipe explains to Outback
Sideswipe peaks from the cover and guns down two Decepticons, Outback provides cover fire on the other side. Sideswipe crouches back into cover, and they begin to plan their next move
"Alright Sideswipe, what do we do?" Outback asks
Sideswipe peeks over cover and scouts out the area, spotting a high vantage point to their right
"If we can get up to that high vantage point, it'll give us a good place to gun down some 'cons." Sideswipe says
"Lead the way, I'll provide cover fire." Outback says
Sideswipe rushes for the vantage point, sliding across to ensure he won't get hit
Outback makes a run for it, but gets hit in the shoulder by a Decepticon
"Scrap! Outback, you alright?!" Sideswipe asks
Outback reaches out for Sideswipe's hand, he grabs his hand and pulls him into cover
Sideswipe peeks around the corner, and realizes that most of the Autobot soldiers are dead, and they hear someone approaching their position
Tarn turns around the corner and aims his pistol at the Autobots, but Sideswipe knocks his arm away, and kicks Tarn in the knee, making him kneel down
Tarn punches Sideswipe in the head, knocking him down
Outback, still down on the ground, reaches for his pistol
Tarn stands back up and approaches Outback, Tarn grabs Outback's damaged arm and twists it backwards, making Outback scream, and eventually, Tarn completely rips Outback's arm off
Sideswipe leaps on the back of Tarn and gets him in a chokehold
"You'll pay for this, Tarn! I PROMISE YOU THAT!" Sideswipe yells
"If you're still alive, Autobot." Tarn says, calmly
Tarn reaches back and grabs Sideswipe and throws him into Outback, and he fires multiple shots at them, but they manage to dodge
"We gotta get out of here." Outback says
Sideswipe nods and he transforms into his Cybertronian sports car alt mode, Outback grabs onto his spoilers and they drive away, with Outback and Tarn firing at each other
Tarn takes a deep breath as they retreat, and throws his gun down to his side
Tarn walks back to his army, they carry their injured teammates onto the dropship
"We're headed back." Tarn commands
"YES SIR!" The soldiers yells
Tarn walks aboard the dropship, he waits until all his soldiers are on board, before closing the cargo door and they fly off back to the Decepticon base in Iacon
-Autobots Iacon Base, Cybertron-
Sideswipe drives into the Autobots Iacon Base, he transforms as he enters in doors, and he picks up Outback, putting his last arm over his shoulder
"Ratchet!" Sideswipe yells
Ratchet walks out of the Autobot medbay and sees Sideswipe and Outback
"Oh my gosh, what happened?" Ratchet asks, rushing over to Outback
"Tarn ripped it off." Sideswipe explains
"Okay, help me get him to the medbay." Ratchet asks
Sideswipe does as told and helps Ratchet escort Outback to the medbay, and they lift him up onto a medical table
Ratchet then inspects the damage, wires and important mechanisms are exposed, energon is leaking, could be dangerous if left untreated
"This could be bad for you, Outback. I might have to replace your entire arm." Ratchet explains
"Okay.." Outback says
"I'll be right back, let me see what we have." Ratchet says, rushing to see what extra parts they have at base
A door opens for him, and he enters their spare parts cabinet
He rummages around, looking for an extra arm, but he only finds one, a red arm with a claw for a hand, and he rushes back out to see if it will work
"I don't know if this will fit, but this is the only arm we have left." Ratchet explains
"And if it doesn't?" Outback asks
"I'll have to cover up that hole in your arm.. You'll only have one arm left." Ratchet explains
"It'll work." Sideswipe says
Outback nods "Thanks, Sideswipe." He says
"Sideswipe, can you sit outside while I do this?" Ratchet asks
"Sure." Sideswipe responds
Sideswipe walks out of the medbay and sits down outside
-Decepticons Iacon Base, Cybertron-
The Decepticon dropship lands at the Decepticons Iacon Base, the army follows Tarn out of the dropship and they enter the base, the soldiers go off to do their own thing and Tarn sits down against a wall
The Decepticons communications expert Soundwave walks past Tarn and glances at him
Soundwave tilts his head and puts his thumbs up, asking Tarn if he's alright
"Not really, Soundwave." Tarn explains
Soundwave sits down next to Tarn
"What's going on?" Soundwave asks, in his monotone voice
Tarn sighs "I'm just.. sick of the war, Soundwave." He explains
"How long have we been doing this for?" Tarn asks
"Millions of years, Tarn." Soundwave explains
"All we do is just.. kill." Tarn says
"Aren't you just sick of it at this point?" Tarn asks
"I mean, I'm a bit of a bad example, I'm not a soldier." Soundwave explains
"Fair point, but I just feel like I'm losing it." Tarn explains
"Do you want to quit being a Decepticon?" Soundwave asks
"I don't mind being a Decepticon, but it's just been getting to me recently, that's all." Tarn explains
The Decepticon's mad scientist Shockwave walks out of his science lab and calls for Soundwave "I need you." He says
Soundwave pats Tarn's shoulder and walks over to Shockwave
Tarn sighs "Better give a mission report." He says to himself
He stands up and walks to the command center, visibly bored
The Decepticons are all chattering and notice Tarn walk in
Tarn walks over to Decepticon leader Megatron to give his mission report, but Megatron notices Tarn's mood
"Tarn, you're acting strange." Megatron says
"I know, I'm just sick of the war." Tarn explains
"Anyway-" Tarn says, only to be interrupted by the whole room breaking out into laughter
"You're sick of the war?!" Starscream asks
"How can you be sick of the Decepticon empire, Tarn?!" Megatron asks
"No, no! Not the Decepticons, just the war!" Tarn tries to explain
Skywarp teleports behind Tarn
"Come on, Tarn! It isn't that bad!" Skywarp explains, nudging Tarn a bit
Soundwave enters the command center, having finished his business in the science lab, he walks in on all the commotion
Soundwave walks over to the only Decepticon not laughing, Decepticon Pretender Skullgrin
"What's going on?" Soundwave asks, looking down at the shorter Skullgrin
Skullgrin shrugs as he watches
They watch as the seeker Thundercracker stands up on a chair
"Hey everyone! I have a suggestion!" Thundercracker yells, making everyone quiet
"This so-called 'Decepticon' is sick of the war, so you know what?" Thundercracker says, pointing at Tarn
"I SAY WE BANISH HIM OUT!" Thundercracker yells
The room erupts into cheers as Soundwave and Skullgrin watch in silence
"Banishment! Banishment! Banishment!" Multiple Decepticons yell
"What?! No!" Tarn says
Skywarp teleports to a nearby door, opening it with a large smirk on his face
He teleports behind Tarn and pushes him towards the door
Megatron approaches Tarn and lifts him up
"QUIET!" Megatron commands
He turns his attention back to Tarn
"If you want to be a Decepticon, Tarn. You have to be on board with the war." Megatron explains
"When was that a rule?!" Tarn asks
"It's always been a rule! I thought you were smart enough to understand that!" Megatron explains
"Tarn, I liked you a lot. I'm sorry." Megatron explains
"No you didn't." Tarn says
"You made me like this, I had a life before this, and you took it away." Tarn explains
"That life is gone now. And so is this one." Megatron explains
Megatron looks down at Tarn's Decepticon insignia
"You know what, I don't think you'll need this anymore." Megatron explains, tearing off Tarn's insignia
"Megatron, do not." Tarn demands
Megatron begins to drag Tarn towards an exit door
Megatron opens the door and throws Tarn out the door, closing it as he lands to the floor
"MEGATRON!" Tarn yells
He runs at the door at knocks at it repeatedly
"OPEN THE DOOR!" Tarn screams
He punches at the door, slightly indenting it
He looks around at his surroundings and finds a long metal pipe, he picks it up and uses his shoulder to try and break down the door
Inside the base, the Decepticons continue to cheer
"Megatron, was that such a good idea?" Soundwave asks
"We don't need him as long as you have me on the team!" Thundercracker says
"Shut up, Thundercracker!" Skywarp yells, tacking him
As the two Seekers fight on the ground, Soundwave and Megatron continue their conversation
"Soundwave, it'll be fine, it's just one lost member." Megatron explains
Tarn punches at the door, giving a slight opening
"Ehh.. I don't think it'll be fine, almighty Megatron.." Starscream says
Tarn uses his shoulder to bust through the door, he rushes at Megatron and uses the metal pipe to stab him through the mouth, and managing to stab Starscream with the same pipe
Tarn turns his attention to Thundercracker, who tries to fly away, but his leg gets grabbed by Tarn, who pulls him in closer, and closer and proceeding to rip him in half by the waist
He throws Thundercracker's top half at Skywarp, but Skywarp uses his teleportation to dodge his torso and kicks Tarn in the back, knocking him down
Tarn reaches for Thundercracker's null ray and uses to shoot Skywarp through the head, killing him
Soundwave and Skullgrin watch in horror as their teammates gets slaughtered
Tarn walks over to Megatron, who is barely alive
"I don't think you'll need this anymore." Tarn says, tearing off Megatron's Decepticon insignia
Megatron attempts to call for Soundwave, but his throat fills with energon, and all that comes out is a gurgle
Tarn looks at Megatron's fusion cannon and decides to take it as his own, he rips off Megatron's lower arm and removes the fusion cannon, Tarn's arm transforms slightly as the fusion cannon is attached
"Megatron, I promise you I will end this war, all Cybertronian's will die." Tarn explains
Tarn stands back from Megatron and aims the fusion cannon at Megatron's face, and fires a blast, putting him out of his misery
Soundwave and Skullgrin walk over to inspect the carnage
"Are you alright now?" Soundwave asks
Tarn nods
"So, are you going to kill us as well?" Soundwave asks
"If I have to." Tarn says
As he says that, they look outside as notices are put up around Iacon: bounties for Sideswipe, Tarn, Soundwave and Skullgrin
Decepticon soldiers rush in and open fire on the trio, who hide behind a pillar together
"Rumble, Frenzy, eject." Soundwave commands, opening his tape deck, allowing the blue and red cassettes to eject and transform
"Soundwave, those are Decepticons! What are you doing?!" Frenzy, Soundwave's RED cassette asks
"Frenzy, you must follow my command." Soundwave demands
"Whateva you say, boss." Frenzy says
Rumble and Frenzy leap at the soldiers, and use their arm-mounted pile drivers to destroy the soldiers
They run back to Soundwave, transforming back into cassettes and being inserted into Soundwave's tape deck
With the coast clear, the trio make a run for escape pods
They are barraged by gunfire, but they manage to get to the escape pods, Soundwave and Skullgrin enter their escape pods, and Tarn turns back and fires a blast from his fusion cannon, exploding a whole troop of soldiers, before getting in his own, and the trio blast off
-Autobots Iacon Base, Cybertron-
Ratchet exits the medbay, and walks over to Sideswipe
He sighs, "It didn't work." Ratchet explains
"what..?" Sideswipe whispers
"What went wrong?" Sideswipe asks
"The spare arm we had has had some damage done to the joint and I couldn't attach it." Ratchet explains
"No.." Sideswipe says
"I'm sorry, Sideswipe. I tried my best." Ratchet explains
"You can come see him if you want." Ratchet asks
Sideswipe nods and he follows Ratchet to the medbay
Sideswipe rushes over to Outback and hugging his partner
"I'm sorry, Sideswipe." Outback says
"You're sorry?" Sideswipe asks
Outback nods
"No, Outback, you aren't." Sideswipe says
"You're still alive, that's the best thing that could have happened." Sideswipe explains
Outback nods "Yeah, okay, you're right, Sideswipe." He says
Suddenly, another Autobot walks into the medbay, it's the Autobot Scientist Wheeljack, holding a tablet, he lifts his glasses over his forehead
"Sideswipe, got bad news for ya." Wheeljack explains, his side ear fins glow as he speaks
"Oh great." Sideswipe says, being passed the tablet by Wheeljack, reading what is displayed on the tablet
"A bounty of A MILLION ENERGON SHARDS?!" Sideswipe yells
"Oh wow." Ratchet says
"Well, you're gonna have a lot of enemies, Sideswipe." Outback says
"Yep.." Sideswipe says
"Sideswipe, can I make a suggestion?" Ratchet asks
"What's up?" Sideswipe asks
"I've already asked Outback to stay on Earth until he gets better, would you be able to watch him?" Ratchet asks
"Might as well, especially with this bounty." Sideswipe explains
"Thank you." Ratchet says
Outback sits up and slides off the table
"Take care, you two." Ratchet says
"Thanks, Ratchet." Outback says
Sideswipe and Outback walk out of the medbay and down towards the Iacon base spacebridge
-Chapter 3 - Finding A Replacement-
-Bernie's Finest Quality Used Cars-
After her shift, Sam walks around the lot of a used car dealership to find a replacement for her current car, though nothing catches her interest
The dealership owner, Bernie walks up to Sam
"How ya doin'? Name's Bernie." Bernie asks
"Sam. I'm good, n' you?" Sam asks
"I'm doing well, thanks. You looking for something?" Bernie asks
"Nothing specific, just looking at what you've got." Sam explains
"You seen anything yet?" Bernie asks
"Nah, not yet." Sam explains
They walk throughout the dealership, passing a group of cars covered by tarps
"You selling this?" Sam asks, pointing at the first tarp-covered car
Bernie takes off the cover, and Sam finally finds a car that she likes, a red Holden Calais V commodore
"Ah.. the good ol' commodore." Bernie says
"Okay! That's nice." Sam says
"Wanna take a look inside?" Bernie asks
"Yeah, sure." Sam says
She walks over to the driver-side door and opens it and she sits down
She adjusts the rear-view mirror and looks around the car, checking for any signs of damage
"So.. you interested?" Bernie asks
"Absolutely." Sam responds
"Alright.. It'll be about.. err.." Bernie says
"$5,000?" Bernie asks
Sam contemplates for a moment, she peaks at the rear-view mirror and sees her old car and then she decides
"Deal." Sam says, and they shake hands
-Chapter 4: First Drive-
-Sam's House, Port Macquarie - May 30th, 2023-
Sam rushes out the door, while on the phone with her girlfriend, Millie Barton.
"Yeah, yeah! I know, I'm gettin' out the door now." Sam explains
"Alright, I'll see you at 5. Love you." Millie says
"Love you too, bye." Sam says, and they hang up
Sam walks over to her new car, she gets in and starts the engine, and she sighs in relief
-The skies above Sydney, New South Wales-
Tarn, Soundwave and Skullgrin plummet towards the ground of Sydney, their pods pierce through the clouds as they finally see civilization
"Brace for impact!" Tarn yells
Their pods crash into a park, their pods leave a trail of dirt and pieces of their pods
Groups of humans surround the pods, discussing to each other what they could be
Suddenly, the pods open and Tarn, Soundwave and Skullgrin emerge from their respective pods
They look around at the humans, who look at them in both terror, and confusion
Tarn raises his right arm, his fusion cannon arm and fires, sending the humans into a panicked frenzy
"That'll buy us some time." Tarn says
"What's the plan, Tarn?" Soundwave asks
"Kill anything that gets in our way, Human, Cybertronian, it's all fair game." Tarn explains
Needed something to blend in with the Humans, Tarn scans a black 2021 Ford Raptor and transforms
Soundwave transforms into his cassette player alt mode and sits in the back of Tarn's truck mode
"Skullgrin, you get yourself a disguise. We'll send you a rendezvous point." Tarn explains
Skullgrin nods, he begins walking away from his teammates to look for something to transform into
-Ashfield, New South Wales-
Sam pulls into Millie's driveway, she stops and exits the car and walks to Millie's door
She rings the doorbell, and she hears someone rush to the door
The door unlocks and it opens, and she finally sees Millie
"Sam!" Millie says, hugging her girlfriend
"Hi!" Sam responds, hugging Millie back
"How was the drive?" Millie asks
"Better than last time." Sam says, glancing over at her new car
Millie peers outside the door, seeing the car for the first time
"You finally replaced it?!" Millie asks
"Yep! It was either replace it now, or just have it fall apart." Sam says
"Yeah, fair enough. Let me grab my stuff, I'll be right back." Millie says
"See you in a sec." Sam says, walking back down to her car
Millie rushes out of her house,with her backpack, locking the door behind her and continuing down to Sam's car
She opens the back door and puts her backpack on the back seat and closes the door, walking around to the passenger side door and entering
Millie looks around the car for the first time, with a smile on her face
"Yeah, it's nice!" Millie says
"Thanks, Mill." Sam says
Sam starts the car and they begin their drive back to Port Macquarie
5 minutes into their drive, they pass by the park where the pods crashed down, police tape surrounds the park, with multiple officers protecting the park and some officers looking at the pods
"What ya think they are?" Millie asks
"Probably something the government was testin'." Sam explains
"Come on! That's a boring answer!" Millie says
"What if it's aliens?" Millie asks
"That'd be a little bit concerning." Sam explains
"But cool, right?!" Millie asks
"Yeah, okay a little bit." Sam says
-Port Macquarie-
Sam and Millie arrive back to Port Macquarie, around 10 minutes from Sam's home
"Before we get to yours, what are we doin' tomorrow?" Millie asks
"You wanted to go to dinner, right?" Sam asks
"Oh! Right!" Millie says
They drive up to an intersection, Sam looks both ways before crossing, clear
They begin to cross the road, but suddenly, bright lights come down from their left, and there is nothing they can do
They are hit by a speeding car, and the car spins, but they are suddenly ejected from the car and are sent rolling across the ground of the roadside park
They lay on the ground for a moment, when they hear engines slowly approach them
Sam, stands up, surprised she isn't seriously injured
"Millie!" Sam shouts
"I'm here.." Millie says, laying on the ground
Sam rushes over to her and sits her up
"Are you okay?" Millie asks
"I'm okay, are you?" Sam asks
"I think so.." Millie says, and the two of them hug each other
Millie looks over at the road, and she sees Sam's car.. only it isn't a car
"S-Sam..?" Millie says
She points at the road, and Sam finally sees her car
Two black and white cars that don't look like anything from Earth approach a robot, laying on the ground
The two cars transform into robots, and high five each other
"You're finally gonna get a bounty, Runabout!" The white robot says
"What? You're the one who always messes up, Runamuck." Runabout, the black robot says
The red robot on the floor sighs
"You got me good, guys." They say
"That bounty is gonna serve us real well, Sideswipe!" Runabout taunts
Runamuck notices Sam and Millie and taps his partner on the shoulder
"Humans." Runamuck warns
Runabout turns his attention to Sam and Millie
"You deal with the bounty. I'll deal with the humans." Runabout explains
Runamuck chuckles
"Oh, this'll be fun, Sideswipe!" Runamuck says
Runabout begins to walk towards Sam and Millie
"Run." Sam says
Sam and Millie begin to run from Runabout, who transforms back into the car mode, and begins to rev his engine, suddenly he charges towards Sam and Millie, they manage to roll away from Runabout, who transforms back into his robot
He transforms his feet slightly, wheels transform down and become his new feet, allowing him to roll around
Runamuck grabs his gun and points it directly at Sideswipe's head
Sideswipe looks over at Runabout attacking Sam and Millie
"Thanks for the bounty." Runamuck says
"It won't be yours." Sideswipe explains
Sideswipe's shoulder cannon aims up at Runamuck, and he shoots a missile at Runamuck, knocking the both of them backwards
Sideswipe quickly gets up and rushes towards Runabout, he grabs his gun and begins firing at Runabout
Runabout turns his attention to Sideswipe, he uses the wheels to quickly charge at Sideswipe
Runabout jumps at Sideswipe, going to punch him, but Sideswipe uses his shoulder cannon to shoot him out of the air
Runamuck drives into Sideswipe, knocking him over
Sam and Millie hide behind a large tree, they peak their heads out to see what is happening
"What sort of car did you buy?!" Millie whispers
"It was one of the cars Bernie had!" Sam whispers
"You think I would have bought a robot?!" Sam asks
"I mean, maybe!" Millie whispers
Sideswipe aims his gun at Runabout, shooting him in the head, killing him
Runamuck growls "You'll pay for that!" He yells
Runamuck leaps at Sideswipe, grabbing him by the neck
Runamuck points his gun at Sideswipe, but Sideswipe quickly grabs Runamuck's gun and points it at Runamuck's head, and he makes Runamuck shoot himself accidentally
Sideswipe kicks Runamuck off him, allowing him to stand up
"Good attempt, you two." Sideswipe says
"One of us will get you, Sideswipe. MARK MY WORDS!" Runamuck yells
Sideswipe fires a missile at Runamuck, finally killing him
Sideswipe opens a panel on his forearm and begins a call, and someone answers
"Prowl, I got some bodies for you." Sideswipe explains
"Nice one, I'll be there soon." Prowl explains
"I won't be.. I'll speak to you soon." Sideswipe explains
"What do you-" Prowl tries to ask, but Sideswipe hangs up, the panel closes
He holsters his gun and his shoulder cannon folds away
He walks into the park and begins looking around for Sam and Millie
"If you're still here, I'm not gonna hurt you." Sideswipe explains
Sam peaks out from behind the tree, Millie pulls her back
Millie nods her head no, and silently tells Sam no
Suddenly, Sideswipe slowly approaches the tree and slightly taps on the tree, their hiding spot is done for
Sam grabs a stick, Millie tries to hold her back, but she fails and Sam throws the stick at Sideswipe, but it just bounces off him
"Was that necessary?" Sideswipe asks
Millie slowly begins to walk away
"You're gonna kill us, aren't you?" Sam asks
"No..?" Sideswipe says
"Listen, I am not going to hurt either of you. Let me explain everything. Please." Sideswipe asks
Sam exhales
"Millie, let's let him explain." Sam asks
"You sure?!" Millie asks, hiding across the road
"He knows where we live. Even if he doesn't kill us now, he still could." Sam explains
"That's supposed to help?" Millie asks
"It's just the truth, Millie." Sam explains
Millie begrudgingly agrees, and walks back over to Sam and Sideswipe
Sideswipe walks back onto the street and transforms into his car mode
Sam and Millie enter the car
"I will explain everything, I promise. But I can't do it here." Sideswipe explains
"You just had a fight here though?" Sam asks
"I know. I just don't want to be out here any longer than necessary." Sideswipe explains
"Where're you taking us?" Millie asks
"Nobbys Beach." Sideswipe explains
"Alright, let's go." Sam says
"Sam, if we die, I just want to let you know that it's your fault." Millie explains
"That's fair." Sam says
-Chapter 5 - Explaining Everything-
-Nobbys Beach, Port Macquarie-
Sideswipe and the girls arrive at Nobbys Beach
"Is the coast clear?" Sideswipe asks
"That isn't helping my fear, mate!" Millie yells
"I'm sorry." Sideswipe says
Sam and Millie look out their windows to look for people, all clear
"Looks good." Sam says
They exit the car and Sideswipe transforms
They walk down to the beach, Sideswipe specifically picked this beach because there are lots of trees near the road, making visibility down to the beach hard
"What do we do if there's people down there?" Sam asks
"It's 1am, I doubt it." Sideswipe says
They finally get a view of the beach, no one is there
"All clear." Sideswipe says
They continue their walk down to the beach, and they find a secluded spot of the beach to talk
Sideswipe sits down on a piece of rock, using the headlights on his chest to light them up
"I'm sorry for bringing you all the way out here, I'm sorry for getting you roped into this." Sideswipe says
"My name is Sideswipe, I come from the planet Cybertron." Sideswipe explains
"Cybertron?" Sam asks
"It's a planet far from this galaxy." Sideswipe explains
"We are currently at war. I am an Autobot, our enemy is the Decepticons." Sideswipe explains
"And you're bringing the war here?" Sam asks
"The war isn't here yet. But I am afraid there are some Decepticons who have made it here." Sideswipe explains
"Currently, we're just hiding out here and taking out any Decepticon we can find, or who finds us." Sideswipe explains
"So, how do we know you're the good guys in this war?" Millie asks
"You'll just have to take my word." Sideswipe explains
"Or meet my boss. He'll convince you." Sideswipe explains
"Right." Millie says
"Why were they after you?" Sam asks
"I have a bounty on me." Sideswipe explains
"Oh.. great." Millie says
"Yeah.. for a million energon shards." Sideswipe explains
"Energon shards?" Millie asks
"That's our currency on Cybertron." Sideswipe explains
"And like.. how do you.. do the thing?" Millie asks
"Turn into a car?" Sideswipe asks
"Yeah." Millie says
"I don't really know.. It's just something we can do. It's been part of our history for centuries." Sideswipe explains
"Centuries? How old are you?" Sam asks
"Old." Sideswipe explains
"How old?" Millie asks
"I've lost count, but I'm actually pretty young for our kind." Sideswipe says
"Just realized we never introduced each other, name's Sam Brooks." Sam explains
"Millie Barton." Millie explains
"Don't worry, I already knew your names." Sideswipe explains
"You've been listening to us?" Millie asks
"I had no choice." Sideswipe explains
"By the way, those pods near your place, Millie. They are indeed aliens, they are from Cybertron." Sideswipe explains
"I TOLD YOU!" Millie says
"Were they Autobots or Decepticons?" Sam asks
"I'm pretty sure they were Decepticons." Sideswipe explains
"Oh, great." Sam says
Sam checks her phone, and looks at the time, 1:48am
"We gotta wrap this up, I gotta get to work in the mornin'." Sam explains
"That's pretty much everything I need to explain anyways." Sideswipe explains
"Cool, can you take us back to my place?" Sam asks
"Sure." Sideswipe says
-Haymarket, Sydney-
Tarn and Soundwave wait in a multi-story parking lot, they listen to the radio, hoping for someone to mention robots
Skullgrin walks over to Tarn, disguised as a human, he gets in the back of Tarn's alt mode
"Welcome back." Tarn says
Suddenly, on the radio, breaking news comes on
"What appears to be a robot body has been found in Port Macquarie. After the mysterious pods discovered in Ashfield, this is the second sighting of what is likely to be aliens in the past 24 hours." A reporter explains
"There's someone in Port Macquarie, let's get going." Tarn says
