Tekken 6: About the Story – Chapter 3 – Partnership

During the Iron Fist Tournament Five, Marshall Law's illegal employment in Japan was detected, causing him to be deported resulting in his deportation back to the United States. The deadline to pay for his son's accident was approaching, but Law had no means to deliver the cash and was completely out of ideas.

6:00 PM Somewhere in America

With money on his mind, Law received a timely invitation from his friend, Paul Phoenix, to team up in the next tournament. Although receiving the top prize money would be difficult to accomplish alone, the likelihood of doing so would be much higher If he was to team up with another fighter. After accepting Paul's invitation, Law realized that three people would be even better than two, so he set his eyes on the world-famous boxer, Steve Fox.

"Hello, Steve. Paul has a plan for us to win The King of Iron Fist Tournament Six." Law said on his phone to his friend.

Steve Fox had destroyed the research institute of the Mishima Zaibatsu, and finally settled a long-time feeling of resentment.

Steve was intent on returning to the world of the boxing again, but the majority of major boxing meets are canceled by the war that broke out all over the world. Steve, who knew no other trade than the boxing ring, had effectively lost his job and his passion, and went into depression.

Soon after, Steve phone rang.

"Hello, Law, is that you? Paul has a plan? Tell me then."

Marshall Law told everything to him.

"So, we three will form an alliance to win the tournament and will also train together for it. You can count me in."

Craig Marduk fought against King during The King of Iron Fist Tournament Five. Although he lost, he and King had a friendly handshake after the match. Upon returning to his room, the lights suddenly went out and Marduk was attacked. When the lights came back on, he saw the suspected culprit, Armor King, whom Marduk thought he had finished off.

"Armor King, is that you?" Marduk asked but was left without answers as Armor King left the place.

Thereafter, the world became engulfed in war. At the peak of the global chaos, The King of Iron Fist Tournament Six was announced. Marduk reasoned that if he entered the tournament, perhaps his attacker would appear. Along with his new ally, King, Marduk entered the contest to find his attacker.

"I'm furious, I cannot accept that an imposter using my fallen master black jaguar mask tarnish his name and his honor. Also, he attacked you. I vow to find the culprit." King said but failed to find the culprit.

"Let's join The King of Iron Fist Tournament Six. If we both participate in the tournament, perhaps the Armor King imposter would appear once again." Marduk explained to him.

Japan

Lei came to Japan pursuing Feng Wei; however, Feng's trail ended and he was unable to catch him.

6:00 PM, Hong Kong Police Department, China.

After returning to Hong Kong, Lei continued to search for Feng.

Unfortunately…

Inside the police department, Lei was called by his captain into his office.

The office was well organized, with some frames on the wall. His desk had some files among a lot of papers. There was also a safe on the ground.

"Good night, Lei. Sit down please." The colonel asked him to sit on a chair and he did as was said.

"Good night, captain. I'm sorry for let Feng escape from me." Lei explained to his boss.

"I didn't call you for that, I want you to suppress several disturbances occurring around the world." The colonel said naturally.

With large-scale war plaguing the earth, Lei learned that the Mishima Zaibatsu was quite active behind the scenes. He therefore infiltrated The King of Iron Fist Tournament Six to catch the true culprit, Jin Kazama.

Lee Chaolan joined The King of Iron Fist Tournament Five to exact revenge against Kazuya Mishima. Lee lost interest in the tournament, though, when he learned that it was actually Jinpachi Mishima who had started it. He returned to his home in Bahamas.

The world fell into disarray at the hands of the Mishima Zaibatsu, led by Jin Kazama, and the G Corporation rose as an opposing power. Lee owned a large portion of stock in the G Corporation and their sudden exercise of military force concerned him greatly. He secretly arranged an investigation into the changes that had occurred within the G Corporation and discovered that Kazuya was at the helm, behind the scenes. Upon learning that Kazuya would participate in The King of Iron Fist Tournament Six, Lee used his G Corporation stockholder's complementary ticket to enter the tournament to get closer to Kazuya.

Jack-5 finished collecting fight data at The King of Iron Fist Tournament five and headed back to the G Corporation's laboratories. Jane used this data in her research to develop more sophisticated combat algorithms for him.

While G Corporation was at war with the Mishima Zaibatsu, mass-produced Jack units were deployed around the world. Unconfirmed reports claimed the Mishima Zaibatsu had begun manufacturing a copy of the Jack unit designed for large-scale massacre. Jane was angry that Jack was being imitated, so she sent in the more sophisticated model Jack-6 in order to investigate the truth behind the rumors.
