Tekken 6: About the Story – Chapter 7 – The Temple
In another region from the docks, they found a KGB troop led by Sergei Dragunov.
Dragunov did a Cougar Slash giving a high knee strike with his right leg and after that a high right kick. Lars did a Charge Factor punching Dragunov with his right hand then jabs him with his left. Dragunov then did a Death March to Ear Grab giving Lars a right kick in the middle, a right punch on the face and a left upper on his head. Lars did a Death Mask hitting Dragunov with a right punch to the face then a high right roundhouse kick knocking him down. Dragunov got up and Lars did a Power Slug slamming Dragunov with a stiff left shoulder back that knocked him down.
They got rid of their enemies and left the docks on the new car. However, they are interrupted by the rebel Tekken Force. Gathering with his partners without remember who they were, Lars talked to his lieutenant Tougou about the rebellion that Lars led, Tougou said he tracked their steps because of the recent events. But were late because of the Mishima Zaibatsu soldiers. Now that he finally found him, Tougou wanted to regroup, but Lars didn't see himself ready to lead a rebellion. Since he didn't even remember who he was. Tougou understood and decide to give him the necessary time for him to get ready. However, he warned that both Mishima Zaibatsu and the G Corporation knew he was alive and would do everything to eliminate him. Then, Lars should act with caution. They dismissed and Tougou give to Lars an encrypted phone so they could call each other in a secure line If he needed help. He also gives him his insignia that he found in Bosconovitch lab sooner. However, Lars give his insignia back to Tougou saying that he could not accept it yet. Because he wanted to discover first who he was. Tougou got it and suggest to Lars for him to start his journey searching for Heihachi Mishima, since before it all happened, he had said to him he needed to encounter with the old man. Lars asked what Heihachi had to do with all that was happening, but Tougou said he didn't know since Lars never talked too much about his past. After that they dismiss and Lars and Alisa went away on. Observing everything was Zafina.
Lars and Alisa found out about an old man who had aversion to Mishima Zaibatsu and they went to talk to him. That old man was Wang Jinrei that after find them challenge them for a duel.
Jinrei did a She Chu Dong on Lars hitting him with a jab and after it with the same hand he gave him another left punch on the body sending him to the ground. Lars did a Flash Bang giving a high left backhand strike followed by a right body blow that ends with a left roundhouse kick that knocked Jinrei down. Jinrei got up and did a Furious Tiger giving Lars a right nudge on the middle and after that using both hands like claws on his body. Lars did a Lightning Assault High performing a right punch, a left uppercut, and finished with the Spinning Cutter that was a high hook kick with his right leg to Jinrei's head sending him to the ground.
After proved their value, things calmed down. Jinrei told Lars he had the same look from someone he knew. But soon changed the subject. Jinrei explained what he knew about Mishima Zaibatsu and say that the company had at the moment the fire power necessary to rule the entire world. In other words, things would go worse before going better. Jinrei said that Jin had a pure mind and hate with all his strength the Mishima blood, this world and also the Devil Gene power. However, he also claimed that Lars from all the people would maybe be the only one capable to defeat the young Kazama. The only question is If Lars wanted that before losing his memory. Jinrei proceeded and commented about Alisa, claiming she was dangerous. The laboratory where she was inert served as an external research institute from Mishima Zaibatsu, in other words, Alisa could be linked with the enemy. Lars decided to kept that information.
"If you really find Heihachi, to ask him about an epitaph that he found at Central America, that could give you a hint of what would be the next step from the Mishima Zaibatsu." Jinrei said.
Lars and Alisa left the place and at the exit Lars called Tougou informing him about the epitaph. Tougou decided to investigate and was to notify Lars what he would discover. Alisa said she made her own investigation from the Mishima Zaibatsu database and discovered that a second troop from Tekken Force investigated the ruins from Central America, but did not find any epitaph. Lars decided to wait to see what Tougou would find out.
Back to Jinrei he received Zafina which seemed to be following the two. Apparently, she affirmed that Lars would be the only person capable of defeat Jin. And that a clash between Jin and Kazuya could result in the end of the world. Jinrei seemed to want to bet on that possibility.
During his investigations about Jin and Lars' past they found Ling Xiaoyu that claimed she would stop Jin. They also found Paul Phoenix as always involved in street fighting to prove he is the best. The duo King and Marduk that ended fighting them. Marshall Law who challenged them for a fight, Steve Fox that ended up confronting them into one of his clandestine fights and Armor King that was also involved in some leaks from G Corporation experiments. Finally, they arrived at the place where apparently exists a resistance organization against Mishima Zaibatsu. There they find Baek Doo San who appeared to lead that resistance.
Baek did a Trident Rush with a high left kick, a low left kick finishing with a right punch on the body. Lars did a Red Sprite after taking some distance hitting Baek with a leaping sidekick and sent him to the ground. Baek got up and did a Double Claymore hitting Lars with some middle-left kick and after that a middle right kick. Lars did a Tower Cannon crouching and raising with a high left kick on Baek's face sending him to the ground. He got up again and Lars did a Shockwave moving to the side and giving a right punch from up to down with electric power sending him to the ground and finishing the battle.
Meanwhile, Jin and Nina arrived at the Egypt in the temple where they found Zafina that told Jin he was making a mistake. According to her, six months have passed since the magic that sealed this temple was broken. According to her, now the world would be fated to be destroyed. Jin however questions that legend asserting he was not responsible for the magic to being broken and that he started researching about that temple since he resurfaced. If the temple resurfaced it means that the one who resides in that temple is awakening, those who called him Azazel. Zafina was surprised that he knew about Azazel and asked him how he knew so much. Jin said it will make no difference since the events already began and no one had the power to stop Azazel, no one except him. A helicopter arrived to take them back and Nina said that they needed to go because the G Corporation was planning something. They left with Jin promising he will finish it all.
Back to Lars and Alisa, they ended up involving themselves into some trouble with the resistance they defeated Baek in battle and end up fighting Hwoarang also.
