Later, the girls were walking into a futuristic building on the outskirts of town where a couple of people were walking around in lab coats.
"Still can't believe how fast you were able to get this place built," said Emily.
"Reprogramming the robot crue was the best idea I had, they worked fast to get the place together and running," said C.G as they passed the robots who were dressed as custodians.
"Hey girls," said Luis, who was waiting for them in one of the labs.
"Hi Luis, you're here early," said Emily.
"Yeah, I had an idea earlier this morning and came to the lab around four to start working on it," said Luis.
"Wow, you woke up early and C.G. slept in, this day is already starting off weird," said Emily with a teasing smile.
"It's not that big of a deal," said C.G.
"Yeah, and I'm going to sleep in the bunk room till my experiment is done," said Luis while pointing to a machine in the corner.
"We'll keep our eyes on it while we work," said C.G.
"Thanks," said Luis while yawning before leaving the room. Meanwhile, Ethan was in the park helping some kids.
"Thanks for getting our kite down, Ethan," said a little girl as he jumped out of a tree holding a green and blue kite in one hand.
"It was nothing," said Ethan.
"Compared to some of the trees I climbed in the future this thing is a baby," he said while patting the tree.
"Did you really go to the future?" asked a little boy.
"Sure did, I saw all kinds of animals and plants that you kids couldn't even imagine, the whole thing was wild," said Ethan.
"But that will probably change now," he said.
"Why?" asked the girl.
"Because my friends and I are trying to help humanity to stay alive by changing the future to make things better," said Ethan.
"See in those eras that we went to there were no people," he said.
"What happened to them?" asked the boy.
"Tell you what, my friends and I will see about holding a class at the library and we'll answer all of your questions there," said Ethan.
"Okay!" said the kids before they took off to play.
