Ten years after that day, C.G. and Luis were at the lab running some data that was coming in.
"Things are looking great," said Luis while looking at a tablet.
"Every country in the world is now using your carbon catchers and the pollution numbers are going down, even the average temperature is dropping," he said.
"It is now, but I'm now worried about that new virus spreading in Russia," said C.G.
"Samples are already on their way here so we can run some tests on them," said Luis while putting the tablet down.
"Great, it may be something I studied before and know a cure for it," said C.G.
"Mommy, daddy!" said a five-year-old girl as she ran into the room.
"Sorry, she's just so fast that she got away from me," said Emily who came in after her.
"It's alright, we were just finishing up our meeting," said Luis.
"And now we'll go get lunch," said C.G while picking her daughter up, both of them smiling as she did so.
The End.
