Master Control
Chapter 70
This had become an increasingly interesting development. From having guns waved around in their faces and having soldiers itching for any wrong move, to suddenly having been escorted to a private feast. Not just any, it was held in one of the largest, cleanest, and most elegant buildings in the whole city. He wasn't sure if it was marble but it had to be this world's equivalent made up the inner walls and ceilings with brilliant glass art serving as the sources of light.
At the center of this extravagant dining area, food was already being brought out and served on silver platters in colorful patterns. Being polite, they all sat down and waited for whoever was supposed to arrive to talk to them. It was always a new experience, not just turning into a new species but to suddenly try to understand the appetite of one. It was one thing to know what was healthy to eat, it was another to identify the safe or poisonous on another world.
*CRUNCH*
Of course, Kota stuck in his Upchuck form went right ahead with no hesitation.
"Oh man, this is great food!" The plump alien boy was using his arm to shovel the shiny fruit into his awaiting mouth.
"I don't think that's food." Reiko mentioned, levitating something juicy towards herself.
*MUNCH*
His chewing only slowed, but didn't stop. "Then what is it?"
"It's supposed to be a centerpiece." Izuku, deciding a thoroughly cooked drumstick of some mystery meat was probably a safe bet. "Or, it was. Please don't eat their valuables."
"Fiiine." Swallowing the last of the shards with ease, Upchuck glanced over towards a plate of real fruit just out of reach. With an eager belly, he sent out his many tongues to swallow them including the plate. Once his jaw closed around his second meal, he recoiled and spat out the food, without the plate. "Aw man. I'm stuck as an alien with the biggest appetite but I can't eat real food?"
"Perks aren't as good with organic matter." Izuku started to explain to the boy. "Murks on the other hand can, though their tongues aren't as elastic as a Perks."
"Huh?"
The large hallway doors, as massive as they were began to shift open gently, well oiled and no creaks to let two well groomed guardsmen push them open. All three of them looked over, as an escort of uniformed soldiers marched in perfect synch, surrounding their unknown host.
One at the front split off from the rest, stomping to an alert position and announcing their arrival. "Behold, our most refined leader who led us to victory in restoring order to our world, defeating the reds, expanded our work and our territory to several star systems, and all in the name of Zavin's law!"
Scooting away from the table, Izuku contemplated if he should salute, bow? Maybe at least stand out of respect. He got to his feet, Reiko mimicking him as the soldiers started snapping to the side to make way for the rumored leader, the one who expanded a worn torn world into an armed society that rivaled the strength of the galactic federation, in a single decade.
Someone who the omnitrix deemed to be its creator.
Expecting the small gray man to strut in, with maybe a medal too big to fit on his outfit, Izuku lowered his gaze to meet the Galvan. A single glossy boot stepped into sight, Izuku having to bring his eyes up to meet the blue eyes of the person before him.
"Introducing, Princess Provity!" The man announced as he stepped fully out of the way for their royalty.
Who?
A young woman, maybe even around Izuku's own age dressed in the most ornate uniform fit for a militaristic girl arrived with full confidence. The bright royal blue shirt, buttoned on both sides and moving down to form a skirt over the few inches of her exposed sky blue thigh. Her boots rose up well above the knee, everything pressed and cut including the sharp dark hairdo that fell just below her chin with her bangs creating a triangle down her forehead. Atop the haircut was a flat cap, bearing a royal seal at its front to provide some shade to her thin arching eyebrows. Her even stare glanced over him, onyx eyes resting on the omnitrix dawning his wrist.
With a single wave of her gloved hand the men quickly filed themselves outside the room, leaving them in peace.
This was hi-her? This was the person who created the omnitrix?
"You changed the color." The Princess, who seemed more dressed for a dictatorship instead of a monarchy simply stated as she reached for his hand and lifted the watch up. She eyed it curiously, turning it over in her firm delicate grip. "Alongside many new additions I'm not familiar with. I would hesitate to even call it my omnitrix."
Letting him go and finding her finely crafted seat at the head of the table, Princess Provity made the room her own as she brought one of the pile of dried sticks towards herself to nibble on. "There are many questions I have, especially your choice in company."
Izuku glanced back towards the ever silent Reiko, who was eyeing the woman critically. Then, there was Kota, still fat and green and stuffing himself with everything he could.
"It's more circumstantial than anything." Izuku confessed, wishing the other two would have a little more self awareness. Doing his best to appear more respectful than the others, he addressed her directly as she did with them. "My name is Izuku Midoriya. We arrived because we discovered a grave error in the omnitrix."
"Oh?" She leaned back in her chair, kicking up her feet on the table with her small plate of snacks in hand.
"Yeah!" Upchuck managed to mumble out as he slid one of the cups into his mouth. "It's busted!"
Izuku cut his hand down to the side, sparing a short glare to Kota to get him to be silent and respectful to the person who could possibly fix this.
"Haha!" The Princess found it amusing, watching Izuku struggle. "Sorry, but it pleases me that at least one other knows my pain. You would not believe what I've had to do in order to bring stability to this world of bumbling barbarians. Oh they're just like your friend there, rude, gluttonous, and let me guess eager for conflict?"
"Hey!" Actually putting down a plate (with a bite taken out of it) to speak, Upchuck seemed deeply offended. "I resent that word!"
"What word?" Reiko next to him asked.
"Gluttonous!"
"Do you know what that means?"
"Um, no but it was how she said it!"
Pointing at his very demeanor, Princess Provity made a direct example out of him. "Oh how could I forget ignorant."
"He's young, and very ambitious." Izuku sat next to her, willing to defend the boy because he wasn't doing a good job at it himself. "But I think he can do a lot of good."
She searched him deeply with her gaze, trying to find hesitation or fault in his statement but could locate none. With a pleased smile, she rose a glass to him. "You still hold pride in those you choose to keep close to you, even if circumstance forced you to work with them. Azmuth couldn't have found a better wielder."
"Azmuth?" So he was involved with the omnitrix in this universe! Izuku held hope that maybe they would be able to wrap this up before the day's end. "How is he a part of all of this? Is he here?"
"No." She abruptly answered, a slight scowl coming across her features as she took a sip. "I commissioned him and his team after learning of their genetic experimentation endeavors, illegal in the galactic federation but not so much here. I wanted them to originally correct the errors in my species, or hopefully make them stronger but as they worked their ambitions took them towards a route to have a device to generate the peak counterpart of any species in their prototype. I kept close eye on their progress, and once I saw that they had created the most powerful weapon in the universe I knew only someone worthy to stand by me would be needed to wield it."
As Izuku listened in on the origins of this newer omnitrix, which was an outdated version of his own, there were still questions he had in his mind. How did it come to crash down on Earth? Why did it lead them here? And lastly, where was Azmuth now?
Seeing him take a deep interest in the Princess's words Reiko paid special attention, as she gripped Kota's chair to force him to face the young woman as well. Having their full attention, she continued.
"Though Azmuth sent a nasty message about me calling it a weapon despite the obvious application, and fled with his work. I chased who I thought to be the traitor down, but lost him at the border. I responded accordingly, he was a traitor who stole my world's greatest creation yet and the key to keeping the peace."
"So wait-" Izuku glanced back at the other two, worried about what Kota might get up to if he stayed in this form any longer. "-Then how did the omnitrix get to Earth? Where is Azmuth now? Why did the omnitrix lead us here?"
"Your guess for the first two is as good as mine." The Princess brought her feet back down, reexamining Izuku in another light he couldn't quite make out. "But, while I could say that because it was commissioned and created here on this world that it registered its maintenance coordinates here, I'd like to think it was fate it ended up with you."
While Izuku may have gotten his because he was chosen by a time walker who helps nudge history towards certain results, Kota just happened to get it like Ben did. If that was fate and not Paradox meddling again.
The Princess leaned forward, propping her chin upon her hands as she studied Izuku's face. "So tell me, who are you Izuku Midoriya?"
Not seeing a need to lie to the woman who generously provided them with so much, Izuku was honest. "Well, I'm a human from Earth. Almost seventeen standard universal age but sixteen back on my world. Though from what I learned we do have a similar revolution."
"How convenient." She uttered as her lashes lowered partially. For being such an accomplished woman she must be tired. "And do you rule Earth with my omnitrix?"
"Not a chance." Izuku nearly laughed at the idea of him being some sort of big icon to look up to and follow. It was a dream he had as a kid, no way would anyone treat him seriously unless he was in one of his alien forms. "I help out where I'm needed and take care of invaders from time to time, but I like my secret identity back home."
Even if it seemed to barely exist at this point.
"Wow." Upchuck rolled his eyes. "So humble."
"Indeed." Princess Provity agreed, her eyelashes fluttering slightly. Did something get in them? Was that glitter? "Very humble, defending your world but still letting it rule over you. Imagine what rules I would have you follow."
This was going a direction Izuku did NOT see coming. "Excuse me?"
Not wanting to lose his rather large lunch, Upchuck hopped down from his chair and began moving towards the big doors. "You're being gross right now. I'm going to find a bathroom in this palace."
No wait! Don't leave now-EEP!
Izuku flinched, feeling her hand rest upon his as her finger traced itself along his skin..Oh no.
"I'll have to reward Azmuth when I find him." Princess Provity smirked devilishly towards the sweating teen. "He did well picking such a fine suitor."
"S-suitor?!"
"Of course." Sliding out from her seat and snaking her arms around his shoulders, she plopped herself back down on his lap. "I discussed it with him many times, that if there was one who would be worthy to wield, the omnitrix would make for a fine King."
KING?!
Trying to find an escape, he was horrified to see that Reiko had already vanished, Kota had left, and he was sealed in this room all alone with a WARLORD PRINCESS EYEING HIM LIKE HER NEXT INVASION!
"I was hesitant about who we would find when we detected the omnitrix had returned." She whispered in his ear as her grip on him tightened. "But I must say I am very pleased."
NONONONONONONONO!
Her free hand reached down, skimming over the faceplate of his omnitrix. "Now, why don't you let me slip you into something more comfortable."
She attempted to input a command, only to be rejected. The Princess tried a more simple one, only to fail again. Started to become more frustrated than excited she yanked Izuku's arm up to see what the issue was.
"Omnitrix, change him to my species already."
"The-uh-" Izuku tried to find a way to slip out without angering the girl who's side arm was digging into his stomach. "-the user lock is on."
"I have override authority." She spat, annoyed with the omnitrix's unyielding behavior. "Disengage locks! User recognition code zero zero, Provity, zero."
Nothing, no matter what she knew before or what she could command, Izuku's omnitrix was not one of them. As gently and as swiftly as he could, Izuku managed to worm himself out of the seat to leave the Princess sitting where he just was as she kept her clamp on his arm.
"I-I should really mention that I'm already dating someone."
"Not now!"
"Izuku."
"AH!" The Princess leapt to her feet, bringing up her gun in a controlled motion and pointing it at the sudden intruder. Reiko, having grown accustomed to suddenly startling people, was just focused on reporting to Izuku. She didn't scare easy, she was the only person who ever did the scaring anymore.
But right now, she looked incredibly worried enough for Izuku to shove aside everything else at the moment. "What happened?"
Kota, was having a very bad time right now. It was bad at first, finding out you're stuck as a short pudgy alien, but then it was awesome getting to eat a bunch of stuff as everyone else was doing the investigation for him! Now, as he kept wandering the halls round and round, passing the same painting five times in a row, he was faced with something he never had to worry about before.
Trying to figure out how to use the bathroom, if he could find it.
And he needed to find it soon!
Out of either a form of heightened sense of panic or actually paying attention, he found two doors next to one another with shapes painted on them. One circle, one triangle.
"Well which one is the little alien's room?" He questioned aloud, realizing that technically both were. If he had a coin it would be easier, but he didn't so he had to do it the old fashioned way.
Taking a gamble and entering the triangle room, he regretted his decision immediately and back tracked to the circled door.
"Sorry!" He called out as he escaped to the privacy of the toilets. Great! At least they looked like ones on Earth! Sort of. The urinals just had tubes that could be adjusted higher or lower. Could he even use one?
"O.t"
A small breath of air passed by his ear, Kota whirling around to try and find its source. Nope, he was alone.
"Out."
Ok, he wasn't imaging it and he wasn't alone.
"Hello?" He tried calling out, hoping it was just Izuku's friend being spooky.
The lights flickered in the room, briefly exposing him to darkness in a series of flashes. It could just be a trick of the lighting, but he swore he saw something moving in here. "W-who's there?!"
It got cold, Kota feeling his lips becoming numb as his quick puffs of air turned to fog in front of his face.
"L.t…e….out!"
He could hear it, it was there staying in the corner of his eye. No matter how many times he spun around he couldn't locate the source.
*Tap*
Until it made itself known on the mirror, frost building up around its edges as it crawled to encompass the reflection. Cautiously, with a belly ready to burst he took a couple steps forward. He could make out his foggy self on the other side, barely able to make out his own hand as he reached forward to-
*SCREEEEECH*
His darkened reflection began grinding its finger, scratching the inside of the mirror slowly as Kota began to read the words being spelt out towards him. Pipes quivering, stalls shaking, lights clicking faster than he could tell.
The only constant factor, was the shadowy figure behind the mirror writing out its demand.
LET
ME
OUT
Out of flight or fight, Kota had learned he was a fighter and it kicked in before the being could leap out and snatch him up. His arm swung forward, crashing against the mirror as the shards of glass scraped along the edges of the omnitrix's faceplate.
That was all it needed.
A force blew out from his arm, ejecting a torrent of shadows that blew through the room and encompassed his vision. Kota shielded himself, trying to wait out the storm until it escaped out of the room in full. A crackled laughter passed overhead, the boy dare not looking towards its owner.
He remained in place, shielding himself with his arms and legs until it was quiet again.
"Kota."
"AHHH!" The human boy pushed back, swinging wildly with his fists as pressurized water shot out between his knuckles.
"Kota, stop. You're making a mess."
His mind began to calm, his ears recognizing the reserved voice. Cautiously he opened one eye, seeing Reiko standing there examining him.
"Don't do that!" Kota came forward about to shove her, only for his hands to pass right through her. "We're on a mission, no time for games or distractions!"
"Sorry." She halfheartedly apologized, reaching down to pick up one of the pieces of the mirror.
Rubbing his arm to warm himself back up, Kota fumed in place over how awful that prank was. "You did all the freaky mirror and light stuff, you pay for it."
"That wasn't me."
"What?"
"That wasn't, me." She reiterated with a little more force, glancing around like they still might be watched. Her single piercing eye landed back on him, doing a quick scan and noticing a huge change. "Why are you human?"
Kota's hands slapped his chest, the boy feeling his shirt and every human part of him to confirm it was true. He changed back, but he shouldn't have. Something overrode the life form lock.
"Oh butts."
After a big day of releasing so much raw strength that could do a month's work of demolition crews, the ragged teens of both classes were eager to refuel themselves with plenty of food. Actually washing off was useless at this point, because if they all bathed now they would just be too tired to do anything but sleep.
Gathering around the large bonfire, sitting on various logs to rocks students from both classes were mingled, chatting as they used whatever muscles they had left to eat.
Though some couldn't help but immediately want to talk about the most recent mission.
"Dang." Mina slapped some butter along the bread in her hand. "Out of all the people in the world, Kota got the omnitrix?"
Eijiro, leaning back in his makeshift crystal recliner gulped down the rice in his mouth. "Wish Aizawa sensei would tell us more. He kind of rushed us to get back into being with the rest of class."
Kyoka and Denki, sitting next to one another looked up from their almost empty plates.
"So, what did Izuku say they were going off to do exactly?" Ochaco asked, having only gotten a fraction of a summary.
"Something about the omnitrix and the ghost DNA." Bakugo muttered, providing an answer mixed with his own guess and what they were told.
Ochaco felt her mind stutter over that as she looked up from her bowl. "Do ghosts even have DNA?"
"It's an alien ghost." Eijiro told her. "Though they don't actually register as alive?"
"So wait." Mina set her food to the side, trying to get to the bottom of this. "Does the omnitrix have the ghost of an alien, or is it an alien born as a ghost?"
Not really caring either way, Bakugo ignored their spiral of theories and just focused on eating.
Eijiro took a short glance around, seeing if any of the others in their circle of secrets wanted to be apart of their discussion. Momo was off with the other girls in class B Komori and Shiozaki discussing all sorts of medicines. Kyoka and Denki, and a couple of their copies, were off with Tokage talking about how they divide themselves. Tenya and Shishida were getting along well it seemed. Shoto, was just chilling on his phone alone. Knowing him, he was more comfortable this way.
As for Ojiro, he was following after Monoma worriedly as the student from class B started stomping his way over towards them.
"You're Midoriya's oldest friend right?" The blond announced, singling out Eijiro from the group.
"Uh, yeah?" The crystal boy briefly acknowledged Bakugo hesitantly, not sure if he counted or not.
"You were also the first he changed." Monoma accused, cutting out the fun everyone was having in the evening.
"Lay off." Ojiro got between the two to stand up to the boy. "I told you, it's none of your business."
"None of my business?!" Monoma grabbed the boy's arm, holding it up to everyone else. "Half of your class has been receiving newer, more powerful abilities that my quirk can't copy like they don't even exist! What makes your class so much better than ours that you're allowed free access to swap out your quirks with ones that have an advantage over our own?"
"Hold on, what?" Pushing himself out of his chair, Eijiro tried to find out where this was all coming from. "You think we're getting quirk upgrades just to one up you guys?"
"Not exactly." Sero spoke up on behalf of his classmates in a more polite manner. "But, you got to admit that you guys do have an unfair advantage."
"You think it's that simple?" Kyoka's voice echoed between her copies, hardly hiding her anger.
"Why is it such a big secret?" One of the shorter boys, Shoda asked. "If Midoriya has a PQE that can cause quirk awakenings, and UA feels comfortable enough to let him do it to teachers and students alike then-"
"Drop it." Bakugo announced, not even looking up from his meal as he took another bite. "If you don't think you can hack it with your quirks you got then you shouldn't be at UA in the first place."
"Excuse me?" Monoma sneered down towards the boy who couldn't care less about their fragile self confidence.
"Also, in case you forgot, he's not even here." Now that he was finished Bakugo picked up his empty plate and walked away from the squabble. "So quit your whining."
"Whining?!" Monoma's voice cracked as he squeaked out the word, Denki outright laughing at him.
"Dude, you're not helping yourself!" The sparking boy said between his wheezing joy.
"But seriously." Tsuburaba from class B reluctantly backed up his classmate. "We're just asking for the same thing you guys get."
"What?" Mina spat back towards them. "Attacked by villains?!"
"Please." The shadowy boy Kuroiro rolled his eyes. "Like anyone died."
"I DID!" Kyoka burst out towards them, her words ringing in their ears. "This isn't some 'hickory doo let's power you up with magic!' I was crushed, had rebar sticking out of my guts and the only way to save me was for Izuku to change my DNA so I could split in half and watch my original body die!"
"Ok." Awase adjusted his headband awkwardly. "Sorry about that, but what about-"
"Reiko?" Kyoka interrupted, done with the casual attitude they seemed to have about all of this. "Her throat was cut and she was choking on her own blood that Denki was trying to stop but he could barely focus after his quirk backfired on him. And Aizawa sensei had his spine pulled out from his back! And Izuku isn't a fix all solution to your problems, because if he was you think he would bother to fix his girlfriend's leg who was sliced off by a serial killer! So don't you DARE think we're treating this like some convenient service provided by someone to take advantage of!"
Things began to become heated between the classes, and the problem was Eijiro could see both of their points. Yeah, class B probably felt that they weren't being treated as fairly even though Izuku could potentially help but they also didn't realize what it meant to have their DNA altered so drastically. Not to mention all of this was being discussed without asking the one person who could make it happen.
Gazing up towards the twilight sky, he could barely start to make out the stars coming into light above.
"Hope you're having it easier up there, because things are pretty crazy back on Earth right now."
Things at the edge of the galaxy, had gone beyond crazy.
First, Izuku was suddenly being roped into a political marriage, then Reiko bringing him to a too human Kota, discovering that his sample of Ectonurite had escaped, and now he had three things to do at once.
Track down a missing alien.
Find Azmuth.
And manage to flee a very dangerous Princess in command of an interstellar army.
*BWOOSH*
Not wanting to stick around anymore, Izuku turned himself into one of his more intelligent species that was also capable in a decent fight. His body turned into a series of tentacles encased in a suit, his head vanishing to leave only his brain floating in a glass dome, and finally a digital hud to serve as his face.
With a telekinetic push, his body lifted into the air and threw the main doors open.
"Come on!" His digitally synthesized voice commanded, Reiko flying up to join him with Kota in her arms. A rush of soldiers were flooding out behind them, aiming their weapons into the air. Leading them directly, was none other than Izuku's self proclaimed fiance.
"All weapons to stun!" Princess Provity ordered as she pointed towards the escapees. "I want them alive and injuries to a minimum!"
Their guns all clicked in unison, lining up their sights with the three, as they waited for the order.
"Fire!"
Izuku had to swerve away immediately, avoiding a hailstorm of electrified blasts. Flying around the corner he did his best to use the buildings as cover. The same buildings, that were all equipped with their own anti air equipment and an enlisted squad on every floor.
"AAAHHHHH!" Kota screamed as he saw the lasers flying his way, covering his eyes as he braced for the holes to litter his body. He never felt them come, and when he peeked out from his hands he saw they were harmlessly passing through him.
"You're welcome." She told him flatly as a missile passed through her face.
Their flight became unpredictable, trying to find somewhere that wasn't trying to gun them down but that was proving impossible. Reiko dove down to be next to Izuku as they weaved together through the traffic. "Why don't we just teleport away?"
"They were involved in the creation of the omnitrix. If we teleport away, I guarantee they have the technology to track our coordinates or even beam right to us. We need a more direct option."
It only took a glance at the flight paths of the vehicles nearby for Izuku to determine what kind of transportation each one was designed to carry, how far they would go, how fast, and what kind of ship they would need to get to where they were going.
"Follow me-"
*PEW*
"AH!" Reiko was suddenly zapped, something forcing her body to materialize as Kota was dropped from her arms.
"AHHHH!" Kota tumbled through the air as he could see the ground approaching way to fast. His hands went to the omnitrix, pressing every button he could to somehow overcome the red. "Please work please work please work-"
*BRING*
The glowing blue dial popped out, his hand already coming down to slam it back. Anything at this point would be better than turning into a human bug on someone's windshield!
*BWOOSH*
Wings spread wide from his body, chilling air escaping his mouth, and his large eyes perceiving the world in his new form. "Big Chill? Cool."
"Kota!" Izuku yelled out, carrying Reiko in his tentacles. "This way!"
He didn't argue, quickly flying after the teen as he made sure not to be out in direct fire. Izuku charged the way, his mind lifting any loose object that didn't look important and using it as a shield. He collected several other piles, flying them around in their own paths.
Motors roared and sirens blared as hovering tanks came with guns bigger than any they've seen so far. Their cannons clapped the air around them as they fired, turning one of the flying junk piles into flaming garbage.
One by one they shot them down, chasing every moving thing into a corner and decimating them into ash until no more remained.
Popping out of the tank, the short general smiled wide as he won the only battle they had in the last couple of years. With a twist of his white mustache he confidently called in to report directly to his great leader. "Your majesty, I have successfully eliminated the targets!"
She did not take that as well as he hoped. "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO TAKE THEM ALIVE!"
"Sir!" One of the soldiers that had ran up to inspect the rubble reported in. "None of the bogies are turning up signs of the omnitrix. Its current whereabouts are unknown."
"U-uh of course!" The small man tried his best to save himself from execution. "They're alive! We just eliminated hostile decoys!"
"If all you want to do is play with trash then you're demoted to the sanitary division! Now someone competent FIND ME THE OMNITRIX!"
Collapsing onto his alien rear and cloaking himself in his wings, Kota in his necrofriggian body did his best to get comfortable amongst the stacks of crates. It was a large dark room, filled with all sorts of cool stuff. After sticking his head into a few of them, he found lots of things.
Wish he knew what they were, so that he could find something that could help.
Sighing out a small blizzard, Kota reflected back on his actions lately. He wasn't really sure what he was doing at first, but after scoring a few wins under his belt he grew comfortable with the omnitrix. There were some scares, seeing the Wild Wild Pussy Cats and his own mother get hurt but he managed to handle it. Guess it didn't take long for him to forget that he wasn't alone, that he couldn't just think about himself.
Nearby his current spot, Izuku in his own controlled Ghost Freak form was checking over Reiko who seemed to be doing better.
"Sorry." Kota rasped out, getting the single green eye of Ghost Freak to glance up from his friend. It was still creepy, but it just went to show that Izuku had much more control and knowledge over the omnitrix's capabilities. "I, haven't been taking this seriously. I just figured it wouldn't be too hard to handle, you know?"
*BWOOSH*
Turning back to human, Izuku sat down next to Reiko as the alien cargo ship continued its journey away from the planet. She held up her hand, flexing her fingers as she regained control over herself.
"We can get it handled." Izuku stated, checking the map on his omnitrix. "But to do that, sometimes we need a little help."
"Ok ok." No need to rub it in. "But, are there any other aliens in the watch I need to worry about?"
"Well." Izuku looked over Kota's current choice of alien, realizing that he would have greatly appreciated a heads up. "We might want to ask Azmuth about making sure you don't have kids before you're ready."
Looking down towards himself, Kota assumed Izuku was talking about his Big Chill form…..wait a minute. "Don't tell me you have little ice cubes flying around."
"I am speaking from experience." Pulling out his phone and showing several photos of him and his alien kids.
Recognizing one of them, Kota's blue finger pointed towards a familiar face. "Hang on, I met that one!"
"What? Tensei?"
"Yeah! He showed up the same day I was abducted."
Turning back around to face Reiko, the one who made frequent unannounced visits to him and his children, he wordlessly awaited her answer. It didn't take more than a second for her to confess. "Their harnesses weren't secure one day."
Guess it was time to consider androids as a good substitute for babysitters.
Stomping back and forth in her throne room, Princess Provity was fuming over being ditched, abandoned, trying to get her incompetent soldiers to get a lock back onto the omnitrix and track it down. She couldn't bother being interrupted, especially by any of the men that continually pushed for her to get married and make someone king, usually to whoever was the self proclaimed strongest.
Her hopes weren't that high in finding the right suitor, only someone who would listen to her instructions and keep themselves out of trouble. So imagine how excited she was when the perfect candidate wearing the very device she thought to have been lost to the galactic federation.
Sure he was human, but their species were close enough and if needs be he could become one of them! Perhaps she came across as too forward, her eagerness to be rid of all the nagging she received or the half hearted proclamations of love was just too much. By now she would have thought every man would jump at a chance to marry a princess, and she thought he would have been aware of his role if Azmuth had chosen him and sent Izuku Midoriya to her!
Though wait, he arrived looking for him, he arrived because the omnitrix labeled this as the location of its creation. In that case, how did he end up with the omnitrix? Was it truly fate?
Maybe, but there was an urgency in his voice, that some flaw he discovered in it was dangerous enough to cross the border of powerful territories. Was that why he left so fast? A sense of panic once his companion had arrived with a grave look upon her face.
What made him so terrified?
Something cold passed over her shoulder, the Princess briefly rubbing her arm to warm herself as a dark feeling crept up her spine.
She should order her soldiers to fix whatever was happening, they listen to every word she says without question. A whole army spanning across the stars, at her command.
"All at my command." A harsh rasp echoed her thoughts as it clawed its way into her mind, possessing her, leaving her only with fear.
The alien Izuku used was Synaptak from classic Ben 10, episode : The Galactic Enforcers. His species name isn't listed but he's one of those side aliens that Ben never turned into that I wanted to feature. As for Kota as Upchuck 'Perk' being unable to eat real food, we briefly see that in classic Ben 10 but in later series such as Alien Force he uses a 'Murk' to drink a living smoothie. While the official statement is that it was a simple inconsistency and that Upchuck can officially eat food now I think that having a dietary difference between the Murks and Perks adds more depth to the species.
As for this planet, it's based on a different future for the alien world seen in the Alien Force episode titled "Simple". The blue side eventually won after a small poor girl was fed up with war and took charge herself and now has to balance peace with her people's natural desire to seek conflict. Just like with the character Ester being changed to an older Esta, Probity from that episode was changed to Provity and aged up as well.
This is also a play on a recurring trope in Ben 10 omniverse where Ben ends up being unwillingly engaged to an alien princess.
I plan on wrapping up this arc in one last chapter, and then we'll start to dive into the big final arc for this story.

Guest: They very well could be alive in Izuku's universe, but I haven't really explored that part.
AnimeFan13579: I like to think that the color of the statue was never painted in the first place, it was just an excuse to claim Zavin to be one of their own.
Fire turtle: Yep, that episode "Simple"
Omni-Trickery: They do happen to have some technology to handle intangible beings. As for the teleportation part, we haven't seen an example where it teleports things away so I'm gonna say no.
