It was a peaceful morning in the Magical World of the Boiling Isles, Amity Blight was taking a peaceful walk in the Boiling Isles forests, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature around her. As she was walking, she noticed a strange, glowing puddle on the ground. Curious, she approached it to take a closer look.
"What the hell?" Amity asks. "How on Earth did this get here? And why is it glowing?"
The goo was a sickly green color and emitted an unpleasant odor. Amity was disgusted and tried to get up quickly, but she lost her balance and fell right into the puddle. She tried to get up, but the goo was sticky and wouldn't let go of her. As she struggled to free herself, she felt strange sensations all over her body.
Finally, she managed to pull herself out of the puddle but noticed that her clothes were dirty! She groans in frustration.
"Great," Amity sarcastically commented. Well, it won't get in her way, she always has a cleaning spell prepared to get this goo off of her. As she started to leave, she failed to notice the puddle starting to bubble and glow brighter. In the bubbling puddle, something started to rise.
No.
Some things started to rise from the puddle, a few human hands, heads with bright golden eyes and the goo started to dry up, revealing a few familiar faces and pale skin...
Luz was expecting another text message from her mother again, but after everything that's happened with Hunter and him learning the true nature of Belos. What can she do at this point? He can't return to the castle without the risk of facing Belos' wrath and fury and potentially getting killed.
"HOOT HOOT!" A familiar voice shouted as he entered Luz's room. It was Hooty.
"I'm not in the mood right now, Hooty." Luz sighed. "I got a lot of things on my mind."
"Amity's here!" Hooty smiled as he stretched onto Luz's shoulder. Luz was about to tell Hooty to tell Amity to go home, but she was interrupted by Hooty saying, "And in the Backyard and on the porch."
"Wait, what?" Luz said.
Luz stood up and walked down the stairs, looking into the living room. To her surprise, Amity Blight was sitting on Eda's couch, drinking tea.
As Luz stepped in, Amity looked up and waved enthusiastically, before going back to sipping her drink as if nothing happened. Luz frowned at this in confusion and sat down next to her. "So, what brings you here?" Luz asked.
"Oh, I just wanted to see how you're doing," Amity replied. "You know, since you've been through so much lately. Eda and King told me everything."
"Yeah, well, I'm fine," Luz said. "I mean, I'm still alive."
"Luz, don't talk to this imposter." Another voice said, it sounded like Amity speaking, identical to her voice! Creeped out, Luz looked around and saw...Another Amity?!
"Who are you?!" Luz asked her.
"I'm Amity." The newly arrived Amity replied, confused. "That Amity is an imposter."
The Amity on the couch got up, taking offense with a glare as she spoke, "Please, I'm not a fake, I'M Amity Blight!"
Luz looked between the two of them, unsure of which one to trust, or whether to believe these two were telling the truth. But if one wasn't really Amity...Then who was it? She was beginning to feel dizzy, maybe they'd hit too many potions in potions class. "Are you two..." Luz paused, "...real?"
"Yes! Of course, I'm real!" Both Amitys said. They paused and realized what they just said as they both argued, "NO, I'm Amity!" At this point, they were standing over each other as they kept arguing over who's real.
"LUZ!" Eda said, furiously as she came down in her bedtime pajamas, holding two MORE Amitys by their arms. "What did Amity do this time? She's everywhere, it's like a Tooth Fairy infestation in here!"
"Is there a cloning spell going on that went haywire?" Luz said, worried.
"That doesn't explain how these clones got in here." Eda sternly said.
"I guess it might have something to do with the fact there's enough clones to fill the woods." Hooty said, stretching to Eda as the door opened, not minding the Amity Clones that were going inside the Owl House, looking worried, annoyed and concerned.
"WHAT?!" Amity, Eda and Luz shrieked, joining the house demon at the doorway. Indeed, it seemed the whole forests was overrun with Amity Blight clones. There were dozens of them walking around, some of them carrying things, others were just chilling on the porch or sleeping outside, but most of them arguing with each other over who's the real Amity Blight and who's a clone.
With this sight, Eda looked about ready to faint.
"Uh oh." Luz gulped. This shouldn't end well for anyone...
