Prologue: The Son of the Dragon King
I love dragons and in this I'm going to have a dragon as a student at Ever After High. Also I don't own anything but any OCs I create for this fanfic.
In a deep dark cave in the dark forest is the home to the all mighty king of dragons resides all on his own hidden from the world. Along with his son Draco King
Draco King is a muscular teenager with spiky black hair and 2 little black horns that are covered by hair with a black jacket and white shirt and black pants. The most noticeable thing about him is his two large red wings.
He is using sticks as drumsticks and hitting rocks in the place of drums until a large red and gold dragon appears he is the Dragon King.
"Draconis! I told you to not concern yourself with that racket you call music. What if the humans hear it." Said the King.
"Oh, come on dad do you really think that all humans are evil and what to kill us all?" asked Draco.
"Humans are dangerous, especially the hunters, if they find you they will kill you."
"Curses I hate living in this cave I want to leave and see the rest of Ever After." Draco flies off.
"One day son, one day."
In the Dark Forest Raven Queen, the daughter of the Evil Queen is walking in the forest not looking forward to going back to school soon. "Legacy Day is coming up and I just don't want to follow my destiny."
Raven is unaware that she is being watched. Meanwhile Draco has snuck out of his cave.
"Stupid dad, I hate how he hides me from the world I want to be around people, I want to play drums. I want friends." Draco says that last part sadly as living in a cave his whole life his has never had any friends and while he wants to be free, he desperately wants friends more than anything.
While Raven is walking through the dark forest 4 men in red outfits and mask that cover up their entire faces, these are the hunters, people who hate magic and Dragons. Appear in front of Raven.
"So, this is the daughter of the Evil Queen. Your kind has infected the fairy tale world long enough men kill her." Said the hunter in charge.
Raven is shocked, she knew many people hated her mom but she didn't think anyone would ever try to kill her, okay maybe if she follows her destiny but she has yet to do anything evil.
Draco is flying when he sees the hunters attacking Raven, he flies down and tackles a hunter.
"It's a dragon kill it." Ordered the Head Hunter. Raven uses her magic to blast 2 other hunters helping her savior when the head hunter pulls out a staff that fires electricity sending her back.
Draco breathes fire burning the staff and punches the hunter. He walks off to Raven and gives her his hand. "Come with me if you want to live."
Raven only replies: "You know most people aren't going to take the hand of a random stranger. Even ones that saved them I probably could have handled them on my own."
"Okay sorry but still you really think anyone would leave you to those guys."
"Don't you know who I am?"
"Since you live in the Dark Forest, I'm guessing the daughter of a fairy tale villain."
"The Evil Queen, you know the greatest villain ever after."
"Okay, if it makes you feel any better my dads the Dragon King, he rules over dragons that destroy kingdoms and villages."
"I have a dragon. Her name is Nevermore."
The hunters regain consciousness and start firing. Draco carries up Raven bridal style and files out.
"Hold your fire. We will follow them. The hatchling said his father is the Dragon King, we will follow them and slay the king and his spawn." Said the head hunter.
Draco and Raven arrive at his cave and when they get back inside the Dragon King let out an angry roar.
"Draconis! I told you never to be spotted by humans."
"Sorry dad but these guys in red attacked her and I helped her. This is Raven Queen the daughter of the Evil Queen."
"The Evil Queen. I remember her, she is one of the few humans I've ever trusted, I respect her skill and knowledge with my kind. If you are her daughter than I will trust you. Now Draconis you said there were men in red after her, what happened?" said the King.
"They wore all red and had these staffs that shocks you and that blabbed on about how they hate magic." Explained Draco.
"It is the hunters! We must leave." Said the king.
"Yes finally! Wait why do you of all people want to leave?" asked Draco.
"The hunters hate all magical creatures and want to lock up or kill any they find but they will attempt to kill a dragon on sight if they see one." Explained the Dragon King.
"Why do they hate magic so much and how do you know them?" asked Raven.
"I don't have time to explain we need to get out of here." As they left the cave the hunters appear with their weapons ready and begin firing. "Get out of here now go anywhere I don't want to know. Ms. Queen help my son." The Dragon King breathes a huge gust of wind that sends the hunters flying as he flies the opposite direction of them.
Draco flies off sadly as he is about to have his freedom but doesn't know if he'll ever see his father again.
"Raven where will I go now. I've lived in that cave my entire life and only snuck out when my dad isn't looking."
"Well I might know a place. I have to go back to Ever After High you could come with me."
"Wait. Ever After High, that's a school, of course I want to go, do they have a music class?"
"Yes, it is taught by the Pied Piper."
"Then I'm in."
Raven and Draco leave the dark forest to head off to Ever After High.
"You know what Raven I think this is the start of a fablest adventure."
And now I'm done. Now next chapter will be Legacy Day. Also Raven is not Draco's love interest that will be a different character.
