This is a rewrite of short one shots between the Ultraman and Sailor Senshi, hope you like it.
Chapter 1: Ultraseven and Tenoh Haruka
Haruka is sitting on her bed, hugging her teddy bear. After the events in the Stars arc, it has been a rough time for Haruka to go through during her lifetime. She felt blank during these days, since Michiru and the rest of the gang left for vacation.
The blonde touched her lips as she remembered there is a person holding her and Michiru when they about to collapse in the final battle, but she has no idea. So she got out of the bathroom and washed her face, brushing her teeth. She sighed and stared at the television.
Opening the television with the remote, she saw in the Television, it broadcasted a variety show, which the host is introducing 3 red and silver human. He introduced them as Ultraman, Ultraseven and Ultraman Jack. Haruka noticed there was one of the people she recognised, and she kneeled in front of the television and used her hand to touch the screen. The person she touched it was Seven, the person who is in red, with a knife attached on the top of his head, a green lamp in the forehead, yellow rectangle eyes with black pupils.
"Seven san….. I will never forget the moment that you hold me….. Your hands are warm, and your embrace before I disappeared in your arms, it was so touching… Michiru, I said this doesn't mean to cheat on you, but it was the very first time to feel being saved by a man…." Haruka muttered as her eyes starting to well up with tears. She has never cried alone in her times as a Senshi, but after looking at Seven, despite he was an alien, She always want him to stay with herself, as she has nightmares in these days, about losing Michiru or the important person that they need to protect, which is Usagi. "I hope you would be back one day….." As Haruka continued to think, She turned her head as she noticed a blue ball shined that anded next to the sofa. It turns out it was Seven himself when the blue ball vanished. The King offered him a holiday of him visiting her.
"Haruka." Seven spoke in a deep, manly voice.
"Seven san?" Haruka turned around and saw the red figure behind the sofa.
"Do you remember me?"
"Seven san… I remember you; you are the one that hold me from my waist…" Haruka said as she blushed a bit.
"You're not used to be carried by men, I assume?"
"Yes…" Haruka said.
"And this is really the first time of me holding a female in the waist, to be honest, Haruka chan."
Haruka's face turned red.
"What happened, Haruka chan?"
"Well, Seven san. You're probably the first person that I met who addressed me as 'chan'." She said softly.
"Is this phrase not good for you?"
"No, I'm just happy…"
"So 'Haruka chan' is fine?" Seven asked.
"Yes, I accept it." Haruka said.
"You live alone here?"
"I live with Sets, Hotaru, and Michiru."
"Michiru….."
"What?"
"I kind of remember my brother Ultraman also mentioned Michiru when you were dying along with her."
"Your brother hold me and Michiru, I remember he hugged her."
"I also hugged you, Haruka chan."
"Seven san…. Can you give me a hug now?"
"Why all of a sudden?"
"Because I want some comfort, during these days, Michiru and the rest of them were gone…" Haruka said as she started to cry.
Seven stared at Haruka, he could clearly notice her crying and he also remembered in the final battle, before Haruka about to disappear in front of his eyes, unexpectedly, He also cried, instead it was a trail of sparkles that flood from his eyes. He treats her as the person to protect.
"Haruka, come to me." Seven said as he wrapped around Haruka and ruffled her head softly.
Haruka felt the embrace of a man the first time, it was the warmth that she never felt before. It was much warmer than she comforts Michiru.
"Seven san…. I was scared…." Haruka said as she was in the verge of tears.
"What happened, Haruka?" Seven asked as he stroked her head.
"About Michiru….. I was afraid she would be gone for a long time and I have nightmares of her been killed…"
"You still have me, Haruka."
Haruka stared at the taller figure with tears.
"Seven san…."
"Do you forget the promise that I gave to you before you disappear? I will promise to protect you and Michiru." Seven said as she hugged her tightly.
"Seven san, you're holding me too tight…."
"I won't leave you, Haruka chan."
"You mean it?"
"I won't forget this promise, I would never leave you. Me and my brother vowed to protect you and Michiru forever."
Haruka's eyes burst into tears as she hugged Seven tightly. She had never cried like this, when she first met Usagi and the others, she always be the one to protect them, although the moment, when her love Michiru been captured by Eudial and saw her die in front of her eyes, she didn't cry, not because of not showing her love to Michiru, but because she told herself must never cry no matter her love was hurt or even she face some traumatic stuff, she needs to stay strong. However, after the embrace, her emotions burst out, she hold it for a long time. Despite to Haruka herself, Seven's face is an alien, and his head is made of metal; she felt his hands are touching her head, she knows he is comforting her, and what's more, she remembers he is the one that hold her; a man who helped the two to protect the princess and the rest of the senshi, He succeeded. Now, she doesn't care anymore and cried heavily on the tall figure's chest.
"Seven san….. I shouldn't have cried in front of you, I'm weak…." Haruka said between sobs.
"That doesn't mean weak, Haruka chan. It's a way to express sadness. Before you disappeared, I also cried." Seven said.
"You… cried….?"
"Before you and Michiru disappeared, I noticed my eyes are getting watery, the sparkles that I've never shed for a long time. It was my tears."
"Seven….san…"
"You make me, and my brother know how crying feels like. It was really painful."
"I just hope you and your brother would protect me and Michiru more…."
"Trust me, Haruka chan."
"Seven san!" Haruka bawled as she hugged him tightly.
"I'm here for you, Haruka." Seven said as he put his chin to her shoulder and embraced her.
This is Seven's first time to comfort a human in his lifetime, due to the fact he must go back to the Land of Light and report his work to the King, He never noticed a human cry could be that painful and would hug himself for comfort. Haruka's cries were painful and heart-breaking, as if she held it for a long time. And because of the moment when he cried in the rooftop, holding her before she disappeared, he and Ultraman promised to protect Usagi, and this make them remember they have to separate with their parents when they were children, after this, they would never leave their parents. Same as this experience, he also swore to protect Haruka at any costs.
Haruka's eyes turned bloodshot red after a few minutes from crying, she looked at Seven.
"Haruka chan, are you ok?"
"I'm alright. I finally could find someone to comfort me." She said as she wiped her tears.
"Anything else I could do for you?" Seven asked.
"Seven san, can I kiss you?"
"Kiss?"
"The kiss is deeply remembered to my heart; I would like to kiss you one more."
"But isn't Michiru the one that you need to kiss?"
"Just this once, being kissed by a man is far much different than kissed by Michiru."
"If the timing is right, you should tell Michiru the existence of me and my brother."
Haruka then lifts her right hand and touched Seven's cheek.
Seven's heart is beating. This is the first time been touched by a female.
"Haruka chan. This is the vow of protecting you."
"Seven san, kiss me."
Haruka wrapped her arms to Seven's neck and kissed his lips. Seven remembered her lips are soft when she requires a goodbye kiss to him before she disappeared. Falling in love with a human to him is weird, but he knows protecting Haruka is his first priority. So he just kissed her for 5 minutes straight, closing his eyes to feel the kiss.
After this, Haruka and Seven both stared at each other, looking at each other's eyes.
"Seven san, I considered this as a promise kiss for us."
"Yes, Haruka chan." Seven said as he hold her right hand.
"Seven san, let's do this together."
"Yeah."
"And would you stay with me this night? Michiru and the others would be back tomorrow."
"Sure, Haruka chan. Is that all?"
"Just this night is enough. And please hug me when sleeping."
"You would like me to hug you?"
"Please, Seven san? Your embrace is warm."
"Anything for you, Haruka chan."
Haruka and Seven both embraced one more time. The two vowed to protect themselves no matter what.
