Yusei Fudo, after having defeated Z-one and stopped the Divine Temple, thought his journey was over. However, he was sent to another world by the Crimson Dragon to stop a mad scientist and a powerful evil. Yusei will form new bonds, take on a student and will become a hero in his journey in the Four Dimensions to stop Leo Akaba and Z-arc's revival. Yusei X Akiza and Yuya X Lulu.

1. Chapter 1

Hello everyone, I'm terribly sorry for many things. One of them not updating my White Dragon Emperor story yet, but I have a good reason. My computer that I use to write was 'broken' in a way. It just kept turning on and off over and over again. Good news is that I managed to retrieve my saved data and will continue my work soon.

More good news is that I've decided to continue my Synchro Pendulum story and managed to rewrite the first so far and currently working on the others. Soon I'll be back to where I was, but I need a few things done first. Like the name of Zuzu and Akiza's combined monsters, something for a humanoid songstress with the power of plants. So far I'm thinking of calling them 'Rose Songstress' until I hear or think of something better. Same goes for Shay and Crow's monsters, not to mention Declan and Jack's monsters. I'd like a few suggestions, or else you'll have to wait a while for the new chapter.

Now about this story, it was actually a request from a friend of mine. The writer Raidwing97 couldn't continue his story, so he asked me to continue it for him. At first I wasn't, but after remembering 5ds and how awesome Yusei was, I decided to do it. The first chapter is mostly a backstory on Yusei's life and the start of his new journey, but I hope you all enjoy it. Enjoy the first chapter of this story.

Chapter 1: A Shooting Star's new adventure.

Cold was the night as the Divine Temple was beginning to crumple, its energy source, the Ener-D extinguished. Inside the Divine Temple, trying to escape was New Domino City's Turbo Duelist champion and Satellite's Shooting Star, Yusei Fudo.

Yusei Fudo was a young 19-year-old man, not too far away from becoming 20-years-old. Yusei had tan skin, a somewhat muscular looking physique, black hair with gold highlights, and royal blue eyes. The upper layer of his hair juts upward, while the lower layer arches down. On his face was a yellow criminal mark.

Yusei wearied a long-sleeved blue jacket with a high collar and amber gems, over a sleeveless black shirt with a red symbol, and wore gloves below his elbows with an amber gem on them as well. He wore black jeans with amber knee pads, a belt with two Deck holsters hidden under his jacket, and calf-high brown motorcycle boots.

Yusei has lived an interesting life. He was the son of the legendary scientist, Dr. Fudo, the lead developer of the Ener-D. Years ago, an incident known as Zero Reverse happened. It split the Satellite and New Domino City apart. Yusei's father placed Yusei in an escape pod to save his son from being killed in the accident. However, both him and Yusei's mother were killed in Zero Reverse, making Yusei an orphan.

Yusei's escape pod took him to the Satellite Sector, where he was found by a kind woman named Martha, who took him in and raised him. Yusei grew up into a fine young man, growing up with his two best friends, Jack Atlas and Crow Hogan. Growing up, Yusei became interested in auto mechanics, which would eventually help him create his own Duel Runner.

During their teenage years, Yusei, Jack and Crow befriended another young man named Kalin Kessler, with the four forming a group called 'The Enforcers', their goal was to rid Satellite of all Duel Gangs. They dueled all the other Duel Gangs and defeated them, destroying their Duel Disks and take over the regions they ruled over.

Eventually they succeeded and defeated all the Duel Gangs. During the battle with the last Duel Gang, their leader tried to kill Yusei, but Kalin saved him and together with Jack and Crow, they accomplished their goal. Not too long after, Kalin let the power go to his head, he even started dueling children, destroying their Duel Disks and hurting them.

Seeing what they became, Jack and Crow left The Enforcers, leaving Kalin and Yusei as the last members. Later, Sector Security arrived, armed with Duel Runners, and started restoring 'order' to Satellite. Seeing Sector Security, Kalin decided to wage war on them, too thick headed to see that it was a losing battle.

Yusei left in hopes that Kalin wouldn't fight Sector Security alone, but was wrong as Kalin assaulted Sector Security's headquarters. Yusei, Jack and Crow returned to help Kalin escape, but he wanted to fight Security. Obsessed, Kalin murdered a Security Officer, resulting in a fight between Yusei and him.

Later Jack, Crown and Yusei kept Kalin restrained in a room, hoping that Security would abandon their pursuit, but they were relentless. Yusei tried to surrender himself, pretending to be the leader so that Kalin wouldn't be arrested, but they already found and arrested him.

An officer pat Yusei on the shoulder, as if he was thanking him. Kalin, seeing this, thought Yusei betrayed him and tried to attack him. Yusei tried to explain to Kalin, but he was taken away before he could. Later on, Yusei, Jack and Crow heard a rumor that Kalin died in the Facility.

Yusei, Jack and Crow split and went their own ways. Crow met a man named Robert Pearson and joined him on his dream to create Duel Runners for a living and help children make their dreams come true. Yusei hanged out with his friends Rally, Tank, Nervin, Blitz and sometimes Jack. However, Jack and Yusei eventually split and went their own ways.

Yusei, with the help of his friends, created his first Duel Runner. He planned to ride his Duel Runner through Satellite alongside his favorite monster, Stardust Dragon, in order to give hope to all the civilians for a better future. However, one day, Jack contacted Yusei and told him a lie that Rally was captured by thugs and told him to meet him somewhere.

Yusei rushed over on his Duel Runner, meeting Jack and seeing Rally tied up on a boat in the middle of the water. Jack explained that it was him that did that to Rally and gave Yusei a choice, to either duel him or save Rally. Yusei, of course, chose to save his friend instead and went to save Rally.

Taking the chance, Jack stole both Yusei's Duel Runner and his Stardust Dragon and escaped to New Domino City to become the 'Turbo Duel Champion'. Yusei considered the two stolen items to be 'bonds of friendship' and vowed to get them back someday. To accomplish this goal, Yusei created a new Duel Runner with the help of his friends.

Eventually, Yusei's new Duel Runner was ready to go. A few days before it could begin his journey to New Domino City, Yusei met a Security Officer named Trudge, who wanted to arrest Rally for stealing an acceleration chip. Yusei and Trudge had a Turbo Duel, with Yusei emerging as the victor. Trudge let him go, but vowed that the score between them wasn't over.

A few days later, Yusei was ready to travel to New Domino City through a pipeline. However, Trudge showed up and challenged Yusei to another Turbo Duel, losing a second time. Yusei made it to New Domino City and found Jack waiting for him. Jack tossed Yusei's Stardust Dragon to him, saying he doesn't need it, but he refused. Yusei tossed the card back, preferring to duel for the card instead of getting it back. Jack accepted the challenge and took him to New Domino City's Stadium, where the two had their Turbo Duel.

However, their Turbo Duel was interrupted by a creature known as the 'Crimson Dragon', right when the victor was about to be decided. Later on, it would be revealed that Yusei was the winner. The Crimson Dragon's appearance caused a mark to appear on Yusei's right arm. Before questions could be answered, Sector Security arrived and arrested Yusei.

Shipped off to the Facility, Yusei met an old man named Tenzen Yanagi, and a man named Bolt Tanner, a Duelist that Jack defeated. Yusei befriended these two, and eventually became a hero to the criminals in the Facility by defeating the chief, Chief Armstrong. During his time in the Facility, Yanagi told Yusei that he was a 'Signer', someone with the mark of the Crimson Dragon. The mark that appeared on Yusei's arm was the Mark of the Tail, a piece of the Crimson Dragon. There were five Signers in total and Yusei learned that Jack was one as well. So far, Yusei only knew that him and Jack were the only Signers he knew.

By defeating Chief Armstrong, Yusei was released from the Facility, with the first thing on his mind was to get his Duel Runner and Deck back. Bolt Tanner advised Yusei to look for a man named Blister, who can help him get his Duel Runner back. Yusei listened to Bolt and went to a bar called Bootleg, a place where the bartender told him about Blister. Yusei went outside, where Blister actually found him. Blister took Yusei to his place and began helping him plan his break-in to Security's storehouse to get his Duel Runner back. During his stay, Yusei learned of Blister's past as a Duelist.

Blister created Yusei a fake id and found where his Duel Runner was. The next day, Yusei prepared to set out to get his Duel Runner back, but not before he told Blister his reasons. Soon Yusei arrived at a building where his runner was held and late at night, he found it. However, Trudge showed up and challenged Yusei to a third Turbo Duel. Blister showed up and helped Yusei, considering him a friend.

Yusei played a combo that allowed him to Synchro Summon 'Turbo' Warrior'. Seeing he was gonna lose, Trudge tried to cheat by trying to ram his Duel Runner into Yusei's, but Blister kept him from doing that and Yusei defeated Trudge and his SYnchro Monster, 'Goyo Guardian'.

Yusei managed to escape the building and rode through a crowd of Securities. As he does so, he was electrocuted by the securities. Yusei managed to get away from the crowd, but crashes in the alleyway in the tops and falls of his Runner. A pair of twins, a boy and girl named 'Leo' and 'Luna' found him and took him to their home, nursing him back to health, despite Yusei's new criminal mark on his face.

The next day, Yusei woke up, but had amnesia. Leo tried to help Yusei remember who he was, before suggesting having a duel. Yusei agreed and dueled Leo, while Luna watched. Leo had potential, but had a long way to go.

Yusei defeated Leo in a single turn by using his Synchro Monster 'Nitro Warrior'. At first Leo was sad, but Luna and Yusei cheered him up because Yusei remembered who he was.

Leo wanted to be Yusei's friend, but he told them it would be better if they didn't know him. Luna asked Yusei to spend the night, which he agreed. Once the twins were asleep, Yusei did some work on their Duel Disks as his way to say 'thanks' to them, before he left. Outside, Yusei ran into Trudge again, much to his annoyance. However before they could Turbo Duel, a man known as Lazar appeared and gave Yusei an invitation to the Fortune Cup.

Lazar told Yusei if he didn't enter, his friends back in Satellite would be punished for his actions. Left with no choice, Yusei entered the Fortune Cup. During the days waiting for the Fortune Cup, Yusei reunited with Blister, Tanner, Yanagi, Leo, Luna and met their friend Dexter. Even Jack came around and gave Yusei his Stardust Dragon back. Yusei met one more person in the Daimon Arena.

A woman named Akiza Izinski.

At first, Yusei didn't learn her name until the Fortune Cup, but someone about her drew Yusei to her. Soon the Fortune Cup began, with Yusei starting off as the crowd's hated participant because of his criminal mark and that he was from the Satellite. Yusei paid no attention to them, his focus was winning so that he could protect his friends.

Yusei's first and second opponents were the former champion, Hunter Pace and Greiger. Both proved to be powerful opponents, but Yusei still defeated them. Griger defeated Leo, who was pretending to be Luna, who was invited to join the Fortune Cup. Yusei's third opponent was Akiza, who was revealed to be the Black Rose Witch, a Duelist with psychic powers, powers that can make damage real. Akiza turned out to be a Signer like Yusei and Jack, with the mark of the Foot.

Yusei saved Akiza from her hate and freed her. Unknown to Yusei was that this would lead to Akiza falling in love with him. With Akiza defeated, Yusei would advance on to Duel Jack again. Before that, Yusei went to go see the Director of New Domino City, Red Goodwin to get some answers.

Goodwin used the tournament to gather the Signers from around the world. He succeeded, bringing Yusei, Jack, Akiza and Luna together. Luna had the mark of the Claw and had a special gift, the gift to communicate with Duel Spirits. The fifth Signer's identity would remain a secret for some time.

Jack told Goodwin to let Yusei's friends go, wanting his Turbo Duel against his old friend to just be between him and Yusei. Goodwin agreed and even let Yusei's friend watch the Turbo Duel. During Yusei and Jack's duel, the Crimson Dragon appeared once more when Stardust Dragon and Jack's ace monster, Red Dragon Archfiend clashed. The Crimson Dragon showed Yusei, Jack, Akiza and Luna the past and future, a future where the Satellite was destroyed.

Yusei and Jack continued their Turbo Duel with Yusei emerging as the winner. With Yusei emerging as the winner, he was crowned New Domino City's new Turbo Dueling Champion. A lot of people cheered Yusei's name, while others still hated him. Yusei had bigger things to worry about, for instance, the Dark Signers.

One night, Yusei saw a cloaked figure and chased after him. Yusei dueled this cloaked figure and learn things from him, like there was a group called 'The Dark Signers', a dark version of the Signers. Yusei went to see Goodwin to learn about these 'Dark Signers', thinking he would know.

Yusei had Trudge take him to Lazar, who took him to Goodwin, who was waiting for him at a bridge. Goodwin explains to Yusei that the Dark Signers are the arch nemesis to the Signers, they have revived after 5000 years and possess the soul of the netherworld. When the door to the netherworld opens, the battle between Signers and Dark Signers for the world will begin; This same battle has been repeated over the past five thousand years; In the battle five thousand years ago, the People of the Stars, under the Crimson Dragon, borrowed the power of its servants, the Signer Dragons to seal the wickedness within the Nazca Lines and lock the doors to the netherworld. In that battle, one of the Signer Dragons, Ancient Fairy Dragon was captured. Now after 5000 years, the battle has begun again.

The Nazca lines are formed, each one in the shape of its corresponding monster sealed within. Goodwin explains that afterward the Crimson Dragon was split into five parts and sealed in the human world.

Yusei looked at the dragon birthmark on his arm, now knowing what his mark is. Yusei asked why the battle between the two groups has started again. Goodwin responded by asking Yusei if he knows about the Ener-D. The first Ener-D existed in the depths of Satellite, 17 years ago. Although the control system was perfect, the Ener-D began a negative rotation, whereas it usually has a positive one.

It caused an outburst of energy, which destroyed parts of the Satellite. At that time, a large amount of energy was emitted from Nazca. Goodwin explained that when the Dark Signers appeared, the doors to the underworld are sure to open. Now after five thousand years the seal has been weakened and the Original Ener-D Reactor has started to become a door to the netherworld. To close these doors, they must defeat the gatekeepers, the Dark Signers. The Fortune Cup was held for this purpose, to awaken the Signers' powers.

Remembering his vision of Satellite being destroyed by the Spider, Yusei knew that the battle will be held in Satellite and told Goodwin he must evacuate the citizens. Goodwin replies that he can't do that, for when the people of Satellite are no longer there, the Dark Signers will seek new victims. Yusei cursed Goodwin, saying he built Satellite, knowing this would happen and didn't care if the residents got sacrificed. Goodwin pointed in the direction of Satellite. If Yusei wanted to save Satellite, he must defeat the Dark Signers with their combined powers. To protect his friends, Yusei was willing to battle the Dark Signers himself.

A helicopter with Yusei's Duel Runner appeared in front of the two, with Goodwin telling the fate of the world rest in Yusei's hands. Yusei took the helicopter ride and returned to Satellite, leaving New Domino City. Yusei reunited with Rally, Tank, Nervin, Blitz, Blister, who went to check on Yusei's friends, and Yusei's old friend, Crow.

Crow's friend, Robert Pearson was killed some time ago, leaving the kids he looked after with Crow, along with his Duel Runner. Once heard about the Dark Signers and the fate of the world, Crow joined Yusei in the battle against the Dark Signers. However, their first Dark Signer opponent was someone unexpected.

It was their old Kalin. Somehow he came back from the dead as a Dark Signer to get his revenge on Yusei. The two old friends had a Turbo Duel, where Kalin revealed one of the Dark Signers' secret weapons. A monster called 'Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu'. Ccapac Apu was so powerful that it nearly sent Yusei to the netherworld, if it wasn't for Yusei's Duel Runner breaks down and crashes, causing Yusei to fall off, leaving him injured.

A piece of metal had pieced into his abdomen, causing him to bleed. Seeing Yusei's life was in danger, Crow took Yusei to Martha's house on his Duel Runner, while Rally, Tank, Nervin and Blitz would bring Yusei's Duel Runner to the orphanage. During the duel, Jack had arrived in a helicopter and had watched his two friends duel and see Yusei get hurt.

Crow arrived at Martha's house and showed her Yusei. Horrified at seeing Yusei in this condition, Martha and Dr. Schmidt quickly got to work, beginning the operation to save Yusei's life. Luckily, they succeed in saving Yusei's life. Yusei just needed time to rest and recover from his injuries. During that time, Rally and the others arrived with Blister, succeeding in bringing Yusei's Duel Runner.

The next day, Yusei woke up in bed covered in bandages. Martha both scolded Yusei for trying to fight the Dark Signers alone, and gave him advice that he needed his friends by his side to defeat the Dark Signers. Yusei learned his mistake and promised to try not to carry every burden by himself. For the next few days, Yusei rested, recovered and repaired his Duel Runner. He even gave his deck a tune up.

Yusei learned from Blister that the Dark Signers attack the Arcadia Movement, an organization full of psychic Duelists, which Akiza happens to be a part of. They even took down a few buildings and captured 120 people. The Earthbound Immortals required peoples' souls to be summoned and kept the souls, even when the Duel is over.

Two Dark Signers attacked Akiza and the leader of the Arcadia Movement, a man named Sayer. Sayer had disappeared, while Akiza was in the hospital in a coma. Yusei wanted to help Akiza, but his experience with Ccapac Apu and Kalin has shaken his resolve, making him think he couldn't help Akiza.

However, a helicopter came out of nowhere and landed. A man named Hideo came out and requested a talk with Yusei. It turned out, he was actually Akiza's father, and he came to beg for Yusei's help. Hideo explained Akiza's life story, how he wasn't really a good father, his work keeping him from his daughter and the day she received her mark.

Her psychic powers made him fear his daughter so much that he sent her to Duel Academy, thinking it would help her. Instead it made things worse, her powers continued to grow stronger. Eventually, she left Duel Academy and went home. She saw how her parents seemed to be happy without her, making her believe that they didn't want her at all.

Before Hideo could explain, Akiza snapped and shattered the windows with her powers before she left. That was the last time he saw his daughter, before today. Now, he wanted to make things right between him and his daughter. He begged Yusei to come back to New Domino City with him to save Akiza, but Yusei still thought he'd make things worse.

Martha gave Yusei another scolding, before helping him. With his spirit restored, Yusei agreed to help. Martha took the chance to tease Yusei about Akiza, like telling him to take her out on a date. Yusei was a bit surprised by Martha's words, while Blister laugh and Hideo was confused.

Yusei took his deck and Duel Disk and returned to New Domino City with Hideo, reuniting with Jack, Leo and Luna. He also met Akiza's mother and Hideo's wife, Setsuko, but his main focus was on Akiza. She was lying down on a bed with wires attached to her. She hadn't changed from when Yusei last saw her, still incredibly beautiful.

Yusei wiped a tear from Akiza's eye, before his mark activated. Akiza woke up and the first thing she saw was Yusei. At first she was confused, before she went angry at the sight of her parents. Then, Akiza began remembered what happened last night, how Sayer 'died'. Consumed by anger and grief, Akiza lashed out at everyone. Knowing what he needed to do to help Akiza, Yusei challenged her to a duel, which she accepted. Akiza's powers were out of control, dealing more damage to Yusei than in their last duel in the Fortune Cup.

It was a hard fought battle, but Yusei and Hideo managed to get through to Akiza. Akiza reconnected with her family and agreed to help Yusei fight the Dark Signers. The next day, Akiza learned the truth of the Arcadia Movement and of Sayer. He really just wanted her for her powers to conquer the world; he never really cared for her.

Akiza was sad at first, but Yusei cheered her up. Later on, Yusei, Akiza, Leo, Luna and Jack went to Goodwin's mansion. Goodwin led them to the Stairway to the Dragon Star, which was surrounded by a glowing Crimson Dragon glyph. Yusei, Akiza, Leo and Luna were in awe, while Jack wasn't. Soon the Crimson Dragon appeared around the stairway. At the sight of the Crimson Dragon, Yusei and Jack remembered the night when they first saw it.

Goodwin told the two that they had been guided to New Domino City by the Crimson Dragon, but the two disagreed, having come for their own reasons. Goodwin explained to the Signers that the Crimson Dragon has been guiding all of them, even Akiza and Luna. Akiza thought back to her past and how she hurt people with her powers, but was determined to help save the world.

Luna thought back to how she first visited the Spirit World and promised to protect. She even remembered meeting her dragon, 'Ancient Fairy Dragon'. Goodwin told them that they couldn't ignore their destiny and how their gifts brought them all together. The Crimson Dragon disappeared as the Signers marks stopped glowing.

Leo questioned Goodwin about the fifth Signer, getting everyone to remember that they're still missing one. Goodwin told them that the fifth Signer would join them soon. Goodwin showed them the Nazca Lines, right before they disappeared. Goodwin began the story of the Dark Signers and how the Crimson Dragon sealed the ancient evil long ago. As Goodwin continued, the Spider Nazca Line glowed before disappearing.

Yusei thought back to the Duel when he first learned of the Dark Signers and the Duel when he first saw a Dark Tuner Monster and a Dark Synchro Monster, which defied logic with their negative Levels. Since their own dueling is based on the power of life, Goodwin sees it fitting that the Dark Signers' would be based on the powers of the Underworld.

Goodwin explained that when a Dark Signer appears, a geoglyph will surely follow; Goodwin adds and states that their arrival has now put all of New Domino City in a life-or-death crisis. Yusei agreed as he remembered his Duel against Kalin, where people in Satellite were taken in order for Kalin to bring out his Earthbound Immortal. Yusei describes their disappearance as them being slain and was angered that it is being referred to as a sacrifice. Leo and Luna were frightened at hearing this.

Goodwin explained that their actions have already exceeded his calculations; the geoglyphs have appeared in the city too and caused many casualties. Yusei had already assumed this had happened, but was upset at finally hearing the horrible truth confirmed. Goodwin said that the phenomenon Yusei saw in Satellite also occurred in New Domino City and because of the monsters that appeared from the geoglyphs, hundreds of people that were in their vicinity are currently unaccounted for. The Signers and Leo were shocked at hearing this.

The setting around them changed to the Dark Signers attack on the Arcadia Movement building. Goodwin confirmed that the creatures attacking the building are also Earthbound Immortals; creatures which were summoned by the Dark Signers, by sacrificing people. Jack demanded to know what became of those sacrificed. Goodwin however replied that he does not know. Jack was distressed, as he remembered finding glasses, which belonged to a friend of his named Carly, after the Earthbound Immortals' appearance.

Rex said that the situation required immediate action and if they stand idly by, all the people of the Satellite and New Domino City will fall into the clutches of the Dark Signers and the entire city will collapse, just like the vision the Signers had during the Fortune Cup. This information frightened even Luna and Leo, who were worried for the safety of their friend Dexter, Yanagi and Tanner.

Goodwin explained that the only people who can defeat the Dark Signers and save the world from destruction are the Signers. During Goodwin's explanation, Akiza remembered more of her troubled past and how back then, she didn't see life in the city as enjoyable. But since Yusei changed her ways, she now feared for her parents' safety. Jack said that he doesn't care about fate and that he decides what he himself what he should do. Yusei looked at Jack as he remembered what Martha had said about letting his friends help him. He felt that she was right and the upcoming battle cannot be fought alone.

Yusei told everyone about his duel against Kalin and how he would have lost his life if his Duel Runner didn't break down. He also asked if the Dark Signers could return to normal, but Goodwin interrupted him and said that there was no way to revert Dark Signers to their former selves. Yusei asked once again what he meant. Goodwin explained that the Dark Signers are the souls of the dead, who have awakened to their abilities, in other words they were no longer of this world. Everyone got worried over hearing this, but Jack argued back that dead people cannot be brought back to life. Goodwin simply stated that it is. The negative Level of the Dark Synchro Monsters is proof that the Dark Signers are messengers of the Underworld.

Goodwin soon left, but not before encouraging them to keep on fighting to save the world. The Signers kept looking at the Stairway to the Dragon Star for a while, before they left. Yusei was thinking about Kalin and how they were no longer part of this world. Luna tried to cheer him up, but failed.

Soon Jack walked up to Yusei and punched him out of his despair for Kalin's fate, latterly. It took a few punches before Yusei got his act together. Yusei and Jack hanged out at the garden for a while before Akiza, Leo and Luna joined them. Later on, Yusei and Akiza were watching the sunset together from balcony.

The two wondered if they'd see a sunset like this again, before they were called in by Mina, who showed them footage of Satellite. Some kind of mist was covering Satellite from view. Mina told them some sort of abnormality occurred in the deepest part of Satellite, and they are currently unable to contact Sector Security in Satellite and the footage they have may not hold for much longer. Straight away, all screens in front of them lose their signals. Jack refused to do nothing and declares that they were flying to Satellite right away. Yusei was worried about his friends in Satellite, as Mina prepared to execute Jack's plan.

Later on, they met with Goodwin at a rooftop, where the helicopter will take them to the Satellite. Goodwin explained that the original Ener-D was the cause of the mist and that they must get to it. Goodwin even revealed it was created by Yusei's father. Akiza, Leo and Luna were surprised by this revelation, but Goodwin continued on and tells them that their mission is to defeat the Dark Signers and make the Original Ener-D Reactor spin in the right direction.

Soon the helicopter arrived and the pilot turned out to be Trudge. Before they could set off, Yusei told Goodwin if they defeat the Dark Signers, he needed to complete Daedalus Bridge. Goodwin agreed and promised to build the bridge. Hearing those words, Yusei joined the others on the helicopter.

Before they left New Domino City to battle the Dark Signers, Leo and Luna spotted Dexter, Bolt Tanner and Yanagi wishing them good luck for their battle. The twins waved goodbye to their friends as Yusei's resolve increased. Soon they arrived in Satellite and landed by Martha's house, who was happy to see Jack again.

They all gathered in the living room with Martha telling everyone that the mist had taken all of Satellite's people, including Crow, Rally, Tank, Nervin and Blitz. Sad at hearing them gone, Yusei was determined to defeat the Dark Signers and get his friends back. Martha smiled at seeing Yusei back to normal, before she told everyone that she'd be making dinner for them before they left to battle the Dark Signers.

Martha had Trudge join her, who was sad at seeing Mina 'confess' her feelings for Jack, but they weren't returned or acknowledged. Trudge learned a few things from Martha, and from a kid who wanted to join Sector Security someday. Everyone soon had a peaceful dinner, where Yusei told the kids that the bridge connecting Satellite and New Domino City would soon be complete and that they could be whatever they wanted in the future.

The kids were happy to hear that, calling Yusei cool. However, an unwelcomed guest appeared out of nowhere. It was the leader of the Dark Signers, the Dark Signer of the Spider, Roman. Roman came to challenge Yusei to a Duel, who agreed and lead him away so that the others wouldn't be absorbed by Roman's Earthbound Immortal. Akiza followed Yusei, wanting to support him in his Duel against Roman.

Jack led the others to a safe room, but unknown to them, Yusei and Akiza, three of the orphans that Martha takes care of went after Yusei. Their names were Taka, Mitch and John. Far from the orphanage, Yusei and Roman began their Duel with the pillar of fire surrounding them in the Dark Signer's Spider mark. The Duel started off badly for Yusei because on Roman's first turn, he dealt 2400 points of damage to Yusei. However, Yusei began his counter attack by summon one of his most powerful Synchro Monsters, 'Road Warrior'.

However, John and Mitch arrived and were too close to the fire, which surrounded them. Roman played a Trap known as 'Alter of the Bound Deity', which would allow him to Summon his Earthbound Immortal. Yusei tried to stop him from Summoning his Earthbound Immortal, but failed. John and Mitch's souls were beginning to be absorbed. Martha, who had chased after her kids with Trudge, was horrified at what was happening.

Luckily, a miracle happened. And that miracle's name was Jack Atlast, who appeared riding on his Duel Runner and used his mark to save the two boys' souls. With John and Mitch safe, Yusei focused on Roman and his Earthbound Immortal Uru. Yusei was determined to destroy Ura, but Roman started to tell of his past.

He told Yusei a lie that his own father freed the Earthbound Immortals and how he worked under Dr. Fudo with his younger brother, who was actually Rex Goodwin. Roman told Yusei that it was Dr. Fudo who ordered the development on the Ener-D Reactor be stopped, due to the dangers associated with its negative rotations. Their sponsors and New Domino wouldn't allow that and placed Roman in charge of the project. After that, the Zero Reverse happened. Yusei was angered by what Roman said and demanded answers.

However, Roman decided he's talked enough and continued the Duel against Yusei. Roman tried to defeat Yusei with Uru, but Yusei managed to survive thanks to a Trap called 'Iron Resolve'. Uru's attack shook a building, one where Taka, Martha and Trudge were watching the Duel from.

Trudge and Martha quickly went to the rooftop to save Taka before Uru absorbed him. The rooftop began to slope down, with Taka on the lower end and Trudge and Martha at the higher part. Martha began to climb down and made her way to the boy. Once she reached him, Taka apologized, but Martha said it was okay, as he must be brave in order to join Security. Trudge reached out his hand and helped Taka into the doorway, but Martha slipped and slides to the other end of the roof. She tried to climb back up, but slide down again.

Trudge tried to climb down to help Martha, but she stopped him. Martha told Trudge to look after her children with a smile, despite knowing her fate. Trudge tried to convince her to continue, but he knew she wouldn't be able to escape. Yusei and Jack called out to her, who said she was proud of them and she's sure that they will build the bridge between the city and Satellite. She then slide down and fell off the edge of the building. Before hitting the ground, her body transfigured into a blob of light, and was sucked into Uru.

At seeing this, Yusei cried out in sadness, while Jack gritted his teeth. Everyone, but Roman was sad for what happened to Martha. Yusei's grief was quickly replaced by anger and swore to make Roman pay. Yusei Synchro Summoned his ace, Stardust Dragon and direct attacked Roman, who used a Trap called Spider Egg.

Yusei made sure he was ready for whatever Roman threw at him, but he was expecting Roman free Rally's soul and have him duel for him. Yusei couldn't hurt his friend and Rally knew that, so he Synchro Summon 'Turbo Booster Cannon' and used its ability to destroy Uru and defeat himself.

Yusei quickly ran to Rally's aid as he turned into fog and crumbled away. Yusei screamed out Rally's name as the Signers and Dark Signers gathered. The Signers were ready to battle the Dark Signers and save their world. The Dark Signers left to wait for their Signer opponents at their destined battlefields.

Mina explained that the 'destined battlefields' were actually the four control units of the Original Ener-D Reactor, each of which are codenamed after a Nazca Line. To deactivate the control units, the Signers needed their Synchro Dragon cards, which were the same cards originally used to seal up the controllers. To close the gate to the netherworld, they needed to shut down to control units.

With their plan set, the Signers went off to battle their Dark Signer opponents. Leo and Luna went off to face Devack, the Dark Signer of the Monkey. Leo went first since Luna returned to the Spirit World to help Ancient Fairy Dragon, before she came back and took over. Together, Leo and Luna's ace monsters, 'Power Tool Dragon' and Ancient Fairy Dragon defeated Earthbound Immortal Cusillu and defeated Devack.

Unexpectedly, Crow had survived the black fog by hiding in a refrigerator and joined the battle by Dueling the Dark Signer's new recruit, Greiger, who joined in hopes to get his 'revenge' on Goodwin. The two had a Turbo Duel, with Crow emerging as the victor, freeing the souls in Greiger's Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challhua.

Crow joined up with Yusei, Leo, Luna and Trudge as they went off to face Kalin. Soon they reached the control tower where Kalin was waiting. Yusei and Kalin went straight to their Turbo Duel and Yusei did better than last time, defeating Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu with a new monster called 'Majestic Star Dragon', an evolved form of Stardust with the Crimson Dragon's power, freed Kalin from the darkness inside him and activated the tower.

Leo and Luna were happy for Yusei's victory, but celebrations would have to wait because Roman controlled Trudge to send a message to Yusei to come to the original Ener-D Reactor to face him.

With his mind set on defeating Roman, Yusei, Leo, Luna, Crow and Trudge set off towards the original Ener-D Reactor. When they arrived, Crow split up from the group because he spotted something, while Yusei, Leo, Luna and Trudge continue their search and stopped at a bridge and Yusei saw Roman at the end of the bridge. Yusei and Roman had an argument at first, before they started their duel.

Yusei started off strong by Synchro Summoning 'Junk Warrior' and whipping out half of Roman's Life Points, but the leader of the Dark Signers turned things around when he Summon Uru and reduced Yusei's Life Points to a mere 100 Life Points. Despite being hurt, Yusei refused to give up.

Thinking destiny was by his side; Roman revealed the truth about him and the past. Roman actually used to be the fifth Signer, but tore his arm off. He explains that years ago, Dr. Fudo discovered the Planetary Particles. Roman explains that the Planetary Particle, much like a planetary gear, binds particles together with other particles and that Dr. Fudo gave his son the name of his discovery.

He added that Dr. Fudo wished that Yusei could be a person to connect people with each other through bonds. The Planetary Particle was a new, essential particle needed to create Ener-D. The doctor created his own theory and launched development on the non-polluting energy mechanism, the Ener-D Reactor. Rex and Roman were researchers but were impressed by the doctor's research and they were able to become his assistants. The doctor would talk about the possibilities of his research like a bright-eyed little boy. He believed in the world's future that the Ener-D Reactor could create.

However, one night, Dr. Fudo, Rex and Roman were researching until they felt a tremor. Roman looked at the computer screen and saw that the energy gauge showed abnormal figures, but the equipment seemed to be normal, though. They couldn't understand the problem, but back then, no one could think that the Ener-D Reactor would bring about something unprecedented. Because of the experiments, the city was struck by abnormal weather. Roman was shocked when Dr. Fudo decided that the experiments must be stopped.

Dr. Fudo explained that it was out of hand. He didn't know what it's due to, but he's positive that the abnormalities in the city were connected to the Ener-D Reactor. Rex was about to say that all the research will be lost. Dr. Fudo knew that already, but as long as their safety is being threatened, they can't continue to put the citizens in danger. Roman was a little saddened by that development.

Roman investigated every piece of data in the world and he found a location where disasters were occurring at the same time as the experiments, which was the Nazca Lines. He arrived in South America to investigate the Nazca Lines, having heard about the legend that there was a battle of the Gods 5000 years ago there. At the Nazca geoglyphs, he heard that evil beings were sealed inside and that they were locked in battle with the Crimson Dragon for supremacy of the world.

During his investigation, he met a mysterious man who claimed to be from Iliaster. The man told Roman it was a shame that the research on Ener-D would be halted. Roman wondered how the man knew about that, but the stranger simply replies asking whether Roman wished to continue the research. He also added that the research must continue, even if he has to get rid of Dr. Fudo.

Roman asked him what he is talking about. The stranger replies that in the light of Ener-D, there are possibilities that even Roman can't imagine and that the people of Iliaster believe that Roman is a true genius that should be in the first page of the history books. He also adds that Roman had already been chosen. Roman wondered what the stranger meant by that. The stranger replied by pointing at the birthmark on Roman's left arm. Roman looked at his birthmark on his left arm and said that's a birthmark he has ever since he was born. The stranger said that fate has already chosen Roman and that he can't run away from that.

Roman asked the stranger if the 5000 year old battle between the Gods actually existed and if it's going to happen again. The stranger simply replied that is something he should see with his very own eyes with the will of the light of Ener-D.

After that, he laughed and disappeared in a sandstorm. He returned to New Domino City and went to the laboratory to see the Ener-D Reactor to search for the truth in the stranger's claims. Suddenly, dark purple lights strike Roman's eyes and Roman saw visions about the Earthbound Immortals, the Crimson Dragon and their battle. The Ener-D Reactor was a device created to resurrect the 5000 years old battle between the Gods.

Later on, Dr. Fudo tried to shut down the Ener-D research, no matter what the agents said to him. One of the agents told Dr. Fudo that he no longer had the authority to do that and has been relieved of his duties as a member of R.R.D. a while ago. Dr. Fudo cannot believe what he just heard. Another agent told the doctor that they invested a lot in the development of Ener-D and that the successor has already been decided. The successor was revealed to be Roman.

Dr. Fudo questioned Roman what was the meaning of this. Roman replies that Dr. Fudo didn't have the courage to see the truth and told Dr. Fudo that he shall fill that role himself. Dr. Fudo said that he already built control units for the Ener-D Reactor. When he said that Roman couldn't release the seals, Roman showed him the four cards.

The four cards were "Stardust Dragon", "Red Dragon Archfiend", "Black Rose Dragon" and "Ancient Fairy Dragon", which were the seals. Dr. Fudo took the cards and tried to escape. One of the agents shot at him with their ray guns. In his getaway, Dr. Fudo dropped one of the cards; it was Ancient Fairy Dragon's card. Rex found Dr. Fudo badly wounded and tried to help him. Dr Fudo told Rex to try to stop the Ener-D Reactor and gave him the three cards.

Rex searched for his brother in the laboratory. He finally found his brother, who just cut his left arm and put it in a container. Roman gave the container to his brother, saying that someday, the Signers will appear and no matter how many years it may take, Rex must gather them together and defeat him. Rex wondered what his brother was talking about, but Roman told his brother to do what he says.

He added that there are two Gods within his body, but he chose the path of darkness and told his brother to take his left arm and get away from the laboratory, while a small amount of Roman's self remains. He held his brother at gun point, forcing Rex to do what he says. He went into the Ener-D Reactor Control Room and hit the self destruct button, which caused the Zero Reverse, saying that this way, he'll be reborn as a Dark Signer. Before the explosion could kill him, Dr. Fudo put Yusei in a capsule escaping hatch, saving him from the explosion. The Zero Reverse had split the city into two.

Yusei was angered by what Roman revealed and started his counterattack. Yusei used a combo that let him Synchro Summoned Stardust Dragon, lowered Uru's ATK Points and got to attack Uru, destroying him and reducing Roman's Life Points to 0000.

Despite his defeat, Roman laughed, which surprised Yusei. Roman told Yusei that this isn't the end and that an ultimate god has already been unleashed. While explaining this, he slowly turned into dust. He adds that if all four units are not activated before sunset, the King of the Netherworld will be revived. Roman removed the Duel Disk from his wrist, shocking Yusei by his revelation. Roman told Yusei he won't allow him to leave this place and pulled a switch on his mechanical left arm, which allows him to pull it off. It caused the bridge to explode and Yusei to fall from the bridge into the Ener-D's light, which Roman had activated.

Yusei woke up and found himself in a strange place with a dark sky. He wonders if he was dead. Suddenly, ghostly figures emerged from the ground and looked straight at Yusei. One of them took Yusei by the arms. He told them to let him go, but they refused to listen. Suddenly, he sees a vision when the Ener-D exploded, causing the city to be separated and the death of a dozen of citizens of the city.

Yusei concluded that these ghostly figures were in fact the souls of the people killed in Zero Reverse and that an incalculable number of grudge are all focused on him. Suddenly, the ground slowly began to swallow Yusei while the souls continued to advance on him. The souls continued to gather around Yusei, until a voice told them that Yusei was innocent in the involvement of their deaths and that they must release him. The souls did what the voice told them to do and disappeared. Yusei saw a figure in the light, whom tells him that it was too soon for him to be here. Yusei wondered who this figure is, before he was then blinded by the light.

When Yusei awoke, he found himself suspended in midair in the darkness of the Netherworld, until he saw a light. He questioned the light that seemed to be calling him. Yusei began walking and found himself near a river. A light figure appeared and told him that Yusei doesn't belong to this world just yet. Yusei asks the figure who it was, and the light revealed to be his father, Dr. Fudo.

Dr. Fudo apologized to his son, hoping that Yusei can forgive him for burdening him with such an outrageous destiny. Dr. Fudo begins to fade as Yusei begged him to wait. Professor Fudo told his son that destiny can and will be changed as he continued to fade. Yusei continued to pursue his father, begging him not to leave him. Dr. Fudo told his son that he never left his side and will always be with him, until the light covered Yusei.

When Yusei awoke, he was surrounded by Crow, Leo, Luna and Trudge, who were all happy that he came back. Yusei promised to never forget what his father told him. Crow handed Yusei something he found when he was wondering around, a picture of Yusei's family when he was a baby with his mother and father. Till this day, Yusei would always treasure the picture.

Yusei, Crow, Leo, Luna and Trudge left the original Ener-D Reactor and saw the geoglyph of the hummingbird disappear, meaning Jack defeated his opponent. Almost all the Dark Signers were defeated, only one remained. Crow split from the gang to go check on Jack, while Yusei, Trudge, Leo and Luna went to support Akiza in her duel. They soon arrived at the amusement park and split up to search for Akiza and Mina.

Yusei met a mysterious man, who was wearing a hat and glasses, keeping his identity from Yusei. The man claimed to be from Sector Security and that he came here under Goodwin's orders. Yusei, despite feeling like he can't trust the man, decided to trust him. However, that proved to be a mistake.

When Yusei went into a house that the man claimed that he saw movement, he saw Mina below him, unconscious. He tried to save her, but was attacked by the mysterious man. Yusei fought the man, but was neutralized and sent into the cellar with Mina. The mysterious man tried to drown them, leaving them.

However, Trudge showed up and helped free Yusei and Mina from the cellar, right on time. Yusei immediately went out to search for Akiza, but found Leo and Luna. The twins were watching Akiza duel Misty, but she wasn't herself. It was as if the Black Rose Witch had taken over the duel. However, Yusei spotted the mysterious man who attacked him in another building.

The man was actually Sayer, who had survived. Yusei immediately went to confront him, knowing he was responsible for what happened to Akiza. Yusei demanded to know just what Sayer wanted, who told him that he planned to use Akiza to rebuild the Arcadia Movement and get revenge on the Dark Signers. Because of them, Sayer had suffered a scar on his face.

He was mind controlling Akiza to get his revenge. Yusei demanded him to let Akiza go, but he refused and they battled. Despite losing the fight, Yusei had a plan. He secretly connected his Duel Disk to Misty's Duel Disk so that she would listen to their conversation. Yusei tricked Sayer into revealing that he was the one that killed Misty's brother, Toby.

At hearing who was the real killer of her brother, Misty had her Earthbound Immortal Ccarayhua eat him alive. With Sayer gone, Akiza was freed. Misty apologized to Akiza and was about to surrender the Duel, but the darkness took hold of her and forced the Duel to continue. Left with no choice, Akiza defeated the possessed Misty and sent her to the netherworld. All the Dark Signers were at long last, defeated. However, they were too late.

Suddenly, an earthquake strike and a light appeared. Trudge was the first one to notice it and Mina pointed out that it came from the direction of New Domino City. Then, a condor geoglyph appeared in the sky, terrifying everyone with the implications of another Dark Signer. Right at that moment, Jack and Crow showed up.

A mild earthquake broke out right before some multi-colored light was emitting from the crater in the center of the B.A.D.. Yusei figured out that the Doors to the Netherworld have completely opened. Various thunderbolts strike the area around that crater above the former Dark Signers' lair as a dark filthy liquid made its way out of the hole. Two red glowing eyes appeared near the top of the sludge as it took the form of a giant dragon.

The dragon stood over Satellite, dripping sludge, staring in the direction of the Condor lines. Everyone was terrified by the creature's presence. Crow mentioned how Roman had warned them that the King of the Netherworld would appear if they failed to seal the four towers before sunset. Yusei came to the conclusion that this creature must be the King of the Netherworld. Trudge asked if this means it's the end of the world, but Mina replied that they're still here and the darkness hasn't completely taken over.

The Signers' marks glowed as red light shined in the sky, making way for the Crimson Dragon. The Crimson Dragon sent a blast of light at the Signers and their companions. The gang and their Duel Runners had been transported to Goodwin's island residence, where one of the buildings has been smashed, as the Stairway to the Dragon Star has jutted out from underground, breaking through it.

Jack recognized it as the monument that Goodwin had inside his mansion. The Condor geoglyph glowed above the stairway, meaning that the Condor geoglyph they saw in Satellite was above Goodwin's residence. Leo wondered how they got there in such short time.

Rex Goodwin appeared atop the Stairway, welcoming and congratulating the Signers for defeating the Dark Signers, although they were unable to close the Doors of the Netherworld. Yusei asked if what was gonna happen. "The world..." Goodwin began. "... is done for". He finished as he stares at the King of the Netherworld coming in their direction, noting its progress. Yusei questioned why the King is coming here and Goodwin tells Yusei that the stairway is the place for the Divine Ritual. He had used the Crimson Dragon to bring the Signers here for the sake of that ritual.

Rex showed the container that his brother gave him, the container containing the final mark of the Crimson Dragon, the mark of the head. The mark glowed, before the Signers' marks glowed, causing pain for Yusei and the others. Yusei questioned what Goodwin was gonna do with the final mark. Goodwin laughed as he turned around to show the Condor dark mark.

Right in front of their eyes, Goodwin underwent a Dark Signer transformation, before he tore his mechanical arm off and attached his brother's arm to him, using his powers as a Dark Signer. Goodwin was planning on becoming the Ultimate God by using both the powers of the Crimson Dragon and the Earthbound Immortals.

Goodwin announced that the ritual shall be done via a Turbo Duel in the Condor geoglyph. He intended to defeat and sacrifice the Signers to the King of the Netherworld. Yusei, Jack and Crow accepted the challenge and dueled Goodwin. Goodwin proved to be a powerful opponent, especially his Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca. He even took the other Signers' marks and reduced Yusei's, Crow's, and Jack's Life Points to 1 point each.

In that Duel, everyone learned that Goodwin was actually the legendary man from Satellite, the one who tried to build the bridge that would connect the Satellite to New Domino City. However, Yusei defeated him with the power of Majestic Star Dragon. The duel wasn't Yusei's only victory, he reconnected Goodwin with his brother, brought back everyone that was a Dark Signer and the Crimson Dragon gifted him with the mark of the head, giving the mark of the tail to Crow, making him the fifth Signer.

With the Dark Signers defeated, New Domino City returned to normal. Majestic Star Dragon took Yusei, Jack and Crow back to the Satellite, where they all finished creating the Daedalus Bridge, finally connecting the Satellite to New Domino City. All three boarded their Duel Runners and rode off to New Domino City, riding off to their new future.

Six months passed since the Dark Signers were defeated with everyone living their lives in peace, however that would be short lived. One day, a giant stone tablet crashed somewhere outside the city. Yusei tried to see the tablet, but failed. Not too long after, trouble started to happen.

Someone was attacking and killing Turbo Duelist, he even sent Trudge to the hospital. Refusing to stand by, Yusei set out to find the mysterious Duelist and defeat him. At night, Yusei found 'him', and challenged him to a Turbo Duel. A man had a monster unlike anything Yusei has ever seen before. 'He' called it Meklord Emperor Wisel, a monster that was five monsters put together. It was beyond powerful, and it proved it by absorbing Yusei's Stardust Dragon.

Despite his setback, Yusei managed to defeat the 'Duelist' and his Meklord Emperor with Majestic Star Dragon. Later, Yusei found out what he Dueled wasn't actually a man, but a machine. Even the machine's deck was gone. Deciding to figure out what this means later, Yusei could focus on his main objective.

The World Racing Grand Pix.

It was a tournament to celebrate the unity of the Satellite and New Domino City. Yusei, Jack and Crow decided to enter the tournament. It would be a while before it began, so Yusei waited patiently. During the wait, many things happened.

Yusei dueled a teacher from Leo, Luna and Akiza's school called Rudolph Heitmann to save a class from being expelled. Crow dueled an old man named Bashford so that he could live at Martha's house. Jack dueled a business man called Don Piero to help a family suffering from him. Leo dueled the spirit of a boy named Haley and won.

Yusei was kidnapped by some men who wanted him to duel in the World Racing Grand Pix for them, only to be saved by Akiza. However, a woman Turbo Duelist known as Sherry LeBlanc came out of nowhere and challenged Yusei to a Turbo Duel. She was very skilled, reducing Yusei's Life Points to 100. However, before the Duel could have a conclusion, it was canceled by those same men who kidnapped Yusei. They tried to drop a truck on Yusei and Sherry, but Akiza saved them with her psychic powers.

Sherry had challenged Yusei because she wanted to test him, she apparently wanted him on her team for the World Racing Grand Pix. Her goal for entering was to get revenge on a group called Iliaster, who had killed her parents when she was very young. After explaining her reasons, she left with her guardian Elsworth.

Yusei started to recall his duel against the ghost and was beginning to fear the monster he used. He tried to stop using Synchro monsters, even trying to Duel Jack without them, but got schooled. Later on that day, the gang was invited to the WRGP party, a party for the contestants entering the tournament.

The gang met one of the teams entering the tournament, a team called Team Unicorn. Team Unicorn was three males called Breo, Andre and Jean. Yusei was still being hunted by the ghost and had a bit of an attitude, but that was the least of his concerns. Some hotshot called Dobocle tried to crash the party, but failed with Akiza giving him a whiplashing with her Black Rose Dragon.

Dobocle tried to escape, but he caught the attention of someone he shouldn't, which resulting with him crashing his Duel Runner. Yusei thought that someone that chased after Dobocle was the ghost and rushed to confront him. However, a man by the name of Vizor appeared and blocked their way. He said that Yusei couldn't defeat the 'Ghost' in his current state until he found the 'Synchro Solution'. The two had a Turbo Duel, where Vizor showed Yusei something unbelievable.

Accel Synchro was amazing; it allowed Vizor to Synchro Summon on Yusei's turn. Vizor used a Synchro monster and a Synchro Tuner monster to Accel Synchro Summon his Accel Synchro monster, T.G. Blade Blaster. Yusei was in disbelief at witnessing Accel Synchro, but continued on.

Yusei played a combo to destroy Blade Blaster with his Drill Warrior, but Vizor removed it from play, allowing Drill Warrior to attack him directly. Despite winning, it didn't feel a victory to Yusei. He questioned Vizor why he let it end like that, but Vizor that he couldn't reveal all the Accel Synchro secrets yet, before he drove off, leaving Yusei with a goal in mind.

The next day, Yusei, Jack and Crow finished building Akiza's new Duel Runner. Akiza had decided to become a Turbo Duelist herself after watching Sherry and Yusei's Turbo Duel. To get her Turbo Duel license, she needed to pass a Turbo Duel test. It took a few days and crashes, but Akiza succeeded and was ready to pass the final test.

Yusei taught Akiza a lesson, but she had difficulty to learn it. To help, Yusei took Akiza skating rink to help her. Leo and Luna tagged along with Leo seeing it as a date. Yusei didn't say it out, but he enjoyed his 'date' with Akiza, who felt the same. Akiza was ready and duel Trudge in a Turbo Duel. She emerged as the winner, officially becoming a Turbo Duelist.

Jack helped Trudge arrest a criminal organization after accidently getting an undercover officer by the name of Kaz. To fix his mistake, Jack defeated Syd, the thieves' leader with Kaz's ace monster, Chaos King Archfiend. Despite his lose, Syd and his gang tried to hurt Jack, who actually fought the whole gang and won. With his mistake fixed, Jack returned Kaz's card to him, with the two forming a friendship.

One day, Yusei and Akiza were having a friendly Turbo Duel with Leo and Luna watching them. Seeing Yusei and Akiza Turbo Duel, Leo was determined to become a Turbo Duelist himself. However, another stone tablet came from the sky and crashed outside the city again. Like last time, Yusei and the gang couldn't get close to it.

The next day, a new kid named Lester came to Leo and Luna's Duel Academy School. Luna was a bit infatuated with Lester as he seemed to pay more attention to her, while Leo didn't like him. One day when Leo wasn't by Luna's side, Lester invited Luna to his 'house', where he showed her something spraining.

A Duel Board.

It was a board like device that would allow even children to Turbo Duel. Leo, having snuck into the house, saw the Duel Board, before he took off towards Yusei in hopes that he could build him one. Lester gave Luna the Duel Board he showed her and took her home. Leo spent the night at Yusei's place as he built Leo's Duel Board.

Soon with his Duel Board complete, Leo took off to do some training. Later on, Yusei's mark glowed, alerting him that Luna was in trouble. He set off with Jack, soon joined by Crow and Akiza to find the twins. They found them in the Turbo Duel lane, dueling another child with a Duel Board, however this child had a Meklord monster like Meklord Emperor Wisel, only this one was called Meklord Emperor Skiel.

Despite the twins' best efforts, they were defeated by the child, who was revealed to be Lester. The next day, the gang set off towards Lester's house to get payback, but was in for a surprised to see no house there. They tried to talk to some of Leo and Luna's classmates who met Lester, but were surprised that they claimed to know no one by that name.

A few days later, Yusei was testing out a new engine he created around the city, before he stopped to think about his past. He thought about his Duel against the Ghost and how he only won thanks to Majestic Star Dragon. Jack and Crow soon met up with Yusei, where the three old friends had a discussion.

Yusei came to the conclusion that Iliaster was behind everything, thinking back to when Roman had told him that it was a man from Iliaster who set him down the path of becoming a Dark Signer. Furthermore, they appeared to be using the WRGP for some mysterious plan, if Sherry was to be believed. The three decide to work towards mastering Vizor's Accel Synchro as a means to effectively combat Iliaster's plot and to protect the city.

A few days later, Trudge and Mina took Yusei, Jack and Crow out for a fancy dinner at a fancy restaurant. Apparently, they found a male whose lost his memories and they want them to take care of him. At first they weren't willing to accept, but were reminded about the dinner they were having and agreed. However, the guy never showed, much to Crow's relief.

Down at the car park, Yusei, Jack and Crow spotted someone working on Jack's Duel Runner. Angered, Jack punched the guy to the floor, before he took off on his Duel Runer. Yusei helped the guy up as Trudge and Mina ran over. They recognized the man as 'Bruno', the one they wanted Yusei, Jack and Crow to look after.

Suddenly, Jack came riding back. He literally just grabbed Bruno, said "I'm gonna borrow this chump" before taking off with Bruno on board. Surprised at first, Yusei and Crow chased after Jack, leaving Trudge and Mina. Later at the garage that they were staying, Jack was interrogating Bruno on what he did to his Duel Runner.

Apparently, Bruno gave Jack's Duel Runner a tune up. This immediately got Yusei's attention. Before they knew it, Bruno and Yusei were working on Duel Runner programs, ignoring Jack and Crow and it was settled that Bruno would stay with them. Yusei and Bruno finished a program after a few days without rest and went to sleep, leaving the program undefended.

The next morning, everyone was in for a surprise. Someone broke in and stole the program that Yusei and Bruno worked so hard for. Worse of all, they deleted the original copy, leaving them with nothing. However, the thief left one clue for them. While waiting for the program to be copied, the thief had one of the GoGo cup ramen.

Bruno carefully picked up the plastic covering one of the Gogo cup ramen with a metal chop stick. Bruno spotted a finger print, which was their ticket to finding who robbed them. Bruno and Yusei hacked into Security's database to find a match on the finger print. Just mere seconds, they were in and close to finding their thief, but one last thing stood in their way.

It was a simulation Duel, and a complicated one. Crow and Jack tried, but failed miserably. Bruno took the last chance and succeeded thanks to Crow and Jack's attempts. It turned out their old friend Lazar was their thief. Yusei, Crow, Jack and Bruno immediately head out to find the little clown and introduce them to a world of pain.

They found him on the road and chased him. The little clown led them to the mail in hopes to lose them, but Crow and Jack managed to get him in a grid lock. However, the clown proved to be a true clown because his circus tricks enabled him to escape the grid lock and run away. He even used toys to distract the gang. Jack and Crow were fooled, but Bruno figured out Lazar's little trick.

Bruno and Yusei chased after him to a closed-down factory. They entered to find Lazar and get the program back, but the alarm went off and separated Yusei from Bruno. Yusei continued on to find Lazar, while Bruno went back to get Jack and Crow. Yusei eventually found Lazar, who tried to run, but tailed.

However, Lazar tried to play innocent, but it didn't work. Suddenly, a giant yellow robot came out of the floor and locked the two in the room with it. The only way out was to Duel the robot and defeat it. Yusei accepted the challenge and Dueled the robot, with it proving to be a tough challenge. It was programmed with Yusei's Dueling data and hand countermeasures for every one of Yusei's moves.

Eventually, the factory' self destruct system activated, making it more important that Yusei quickly wins the Duel. Eventually, Yusei defeated the troublesome robot with his ace Stardust Dragon, but the countdown was too low, but Yusei and Lazar managed to escape thanks to the clown man's clown tricks. However, they failed to retrieve the program and Lazar escaped.

A few days later in the middle of the night, Sector Security barged in and arrested Jack. They took him, his Duel Runner and his deck. Yusei, Crow and Bruno went to Sector Security headquarters to know why Jack was arrested. Trudge and Mina explained that 'Jack' has been assaulting Turbo Duelist and crashing Duel Runners.

The gang tried to find evidence when one day, Jack broke out of prison, Yusei and Crow went to search for him. They found 'Jack' on the Turbo Duel highway, next to a broken barrier with a purple Red Dragon Archfiend. 'Jack' left with a smirk, confusing the two Signers. Eventually, Carly came to them with proof that the 'Jack' they saw was a fake.

With the truth out, Yusei and Crow went out to find the fake Jack. They met up with Kaz, who was chasing the fake Jack, who wasn't Dueling, but ramming into them. He even rammed into Crow and forced him off his Duel Runner. Suddenly, the real Jack came out of nowhere and Dueled his counterpart.

The fake Jack was powerful, having three Red Dragon Archfiends, all with different colours than the original. However, thanks to a card Crow gave to him, Jack kept Red Dragon Archfiend and eventually, Synchro Summoned Majestic Red Dragon. With Majestic Star Dragon, Jack won and found out his counterpart was actually a robot. They couldn't analyze it because Jack destroyed the thing.

With his name clear, Jack took Yusei and Crow to a cave he was being held hostage, but it wasn't there anymore, like it never existed. Even though they didn't like it, they had to stop their search of finding out who created the robot Jack.

Later on, Zora, the woman who allowed Yusei, Jack, Crow and Bruno to live in the garage was feeling depressed because cuckoo clock that she has cherished was decided to be replaced. She did have good news, her son Lyndon was coming to visit, but the two were having an argument, so she was practicing on Crow.

Later on when the gang, along with Akiza, Leo and Luna were in the garage, were working on their Duel Runners. Out of nowhere, Lyndon came out of nowhere and he was excited to get to know everyone. The gang asked him why he and his mother were arguing and Lyndon explained because he wanted to be a Duelist, while Zora wanted him to follow in his father's footsteps.

Lyndon left to study clocks and has returned to repair the broken cuckoo clock. The gang helped him out a bit to make up with his mother, but things didn't go as planned. Zora and Lyndon had another argument with Zora revealing that it was Lyndon who broke the clock. Lyndon tried to run, but Crow wouldn't allow it and challenged Lyndon to a Duel.

Lyndon accepted the challenge and the two dueled. Lyndon managed to win thanks to a 'Time Wizard', a card his father gave to him. Although, Crow could have won because he had the Trap card Mirror Force, but allowed himself to lose. However, thanks to the Duel, Lyndon and Zora made up because Lyndon finally realized what he wanted to be. Lyndon even managed to fix the clock.

One day after waking up from a nightmare about Zero Reverse, Yusei went out, thinking about what happened all those years ago. Jack and Crow decided to have a Turbo Duel with their old friend to cheer him up, which worked a bit. However, suddenly some masked man riding a white Duel Runner came out of nowhere and challenged Yusei to a Turbo Duel. Yusei accepted the challenge and Dueled him.

The masked man was powerful, but was still losing. To finish things up, Yusei Synchro Summoned Stardust Dragon, however that was what the masked man wanted. He brought out a blank card and somehow stole Stardust from Yusei. Shocked at what happened, Yusei questioned who the masked man was, but somehow he disappeared in fast speeds.

The three Signers returned to the garage, trying to figure out just what happened. Then Akiza, Leo and Luna came in, they found something shocking. Luna showed Yusei an old article about the greatest Duelist in history.

Yugi Moto, the King of Games.

Ever since he heard of Yugi in his childhood, Yusei admired him a great deal. However the next page shocked him. In the past, Stardust Dragon appeared in Europe. Knowing that Stardust Dragon didn't exist back then, Yusei zoomed in on the picture and saw the masked man. Somehow, he time traveled to the past.

Suddenly outside New Domino City began to disappear right before their eyes. Yusei then remembers that Paradox gloating about how their era and time would soon be coming to an end. The Signers marks began to glow as the complete Crimson Dragon mark appeared on Yusei's back. Yusei's Duel Runner also began glowing with the Crimson Dragon's power. He decided to ride his Duel Runner, telling the dragon that he'll go wherever he takes him so long as it gives him a chance to stop the masked man.

The Crimson Dragon took Yusei back into the past, where he saved a male known as Jaden Yuki from the masked man. Jaden was an interesting boy, he had the ability to summon his monsters to life, communicate with a dead man and communicate with Duel Spirits like how Luna does. The two decided to team up to stop the masked man. However, Jaden's time began to fall apart, so Yusei acted quickly and took both him and Jaden further into the past.

There they met Yugi Moto himself and went back a little further because the masked man killed both Yugi's grandfather and Maximillion Pegasus. The three teamed up to stop whatever the masked man was plotting and unknown to Yusei was that in Yugi's Millennium Puzzle was the spirit of an ancient pharaoh, who agreed to help as well.

Jaden's friend Yubel used her powers to scare innocent bystanders off so that they wouldn't get caught in the crossfire, along with hoping that it'll keep Pegasus from coming. Then the masked man appeared before them and revealed his face and name. His name was Paradox and he has come from beyond Yusei's time to destroy Duel Monsters. And if that meant killing people, he was fine with it.

Refusing to allow this, Yusei, Jaden and Yugi all Dueled Paradox, who was a powerful opponent using monsters called Malefic, which were dark versions of monsters he stole from Duelist around time, including Yusei's Stardust Dragon. However, together Yusei, Jaden and Yugi defeated Paradox and his ace monster, Malefic Truth Dragon with their aces, Stardust Dragon, Elemental Hero Neos and Dark Magician.

With time secured, the three watched atop a building as people enjoyed a tournament that Pegasus was holding and how everyone loved Duel Monsters. The three enjoyed their time together and even though they might never see each other again, formed a bond that would exist forever, beyond time itself. Yusei took Jaden back to his time, before he returned to his timeline, where he reunited with his friends, who were happy to see that Yusei was unharmed and safe, who was happy that despite what happened, learned important lessons from Jaden and Yugi. At times, he would think about them and wondered if he'd ever see them again.

A few days later after the battle with Paradox, Yusei received a letter from a woman named Barbara, asking him to come to Crash Town to help an old friend of his. Yusei traveled to Crash Town, which looked like an old cowboy town, they even had cowboy themed Duel Disks. Yusei saw three men try to escape two Duelist, but failed. One of them threw a pendant at Yusei. Yusei saw the Duelists latterly shock the three men, who were wearing collars. Yusei questioned the Duelist what they were doing, who replied that they were keeping their workers from leaving. The two Duelist carried the three men away, with Yusei continuing to Crash Town.

The welcome comedy was VERY welcoming, three guys tried to challenge Yusei, but before the Duel could even start, a woman stopped it. The woman was actually Barbara, the one who sent Yusei the letter. Barbara and Yusei talked on the cliff overlooking Crash Town. She told Yusei that the time that the town's true troubles come is at sunset, which is soon to begin.

Two groups of Duel Runner gangs entered the town from opposite directions. Barbara explained to Yusei that the group with the red scarves is the Malcolm Group, led by a man called Malcolm, while the other group is the Radley Bunch, led by a man named Radley. Yusei questioned what was going to happen, and Barbara told him to just watch and see.

The two gangs were Dueling for something called dyne, which is used in the construction of Duel Runners. Yusei's old friend Kalin had joined the Radley Bunch because he wanted to die. Apparently, the losers of these Duels were sent to the mountain to work there for the rest of their lives, until they die.

Yusei watched as Kalin Dueled and defeated a man from the Malcolm Group, who was sent to the mountain against his will. When Kalin was leaving with the Radley Bunch, Yusei tried to call out to him, who didn't respond and left. Barbara explained to Yusei that she had a plan to 'help' Kalin.

First, Yusei needed to join the Malcolm Group and defeat Kalin. Deciding it was the best option, Yusei joined the Malcolm Group after defeating those three amateurs from before. The Malcolm gang accepted Yusei and hired him, and the next day, Yusei Dueled Kalin as a member of the Malcolm Group. Kalin was a strong as ever even without One Hundred Eye Dragon and Ccapac Apu, he had a new Synchro Monster called Infernity Doom Dragon.

However, Yusei still obtained victory and Kalin would be sent off to the mountains. With Kalin defeated, Yusei turned to Barbara for the next part of the plan. However, it turned out she deceived Yusei. She was actually Malcolm's fiancé and tricked Yusei into defeating Kalin for them.

It things weren't bad enough, Malcolm's little brother Lawton showed, challenged Radley in one turn and took control of Crash Town. Kalin, Yusei and Radley were sent to the mountain, but Yusei had no intention of staying. Kalin however had every intention of staying; wanting to suffer for everything he did as a Dark Signer. Yusei had to temporarily knock him out. When Kalin woke up and saw he was out of the mountain, he and Yusei had a fight, before they saw a graveyard full of Crash Town Duel Disks.

Two kids named Nico and West came up to them, having been pushing Yusei's Duel Runner with them. They were planning on breaking Kalin and Yusei out to help them save Crash Town and their father, who had been sent to the mine. West spotted the pendent that Yusei had, recognizing it as his father's pendent.

Yusei wanted to help everyone in the mine, but before he could try, Lawton showed up on his Duel Runner. Kalin, Nico and West ran to escape, while Yusei had a Turbo Duel with Lawton. Lawton was powerful even without Synchro Monsters, but Yusei adapted. Kalin soon joined in, using a Duel Runner he borrowed from one of the lackeys of the Malcolm group, with Nico and West riding besides him.

They came close to escape, but Lawton played a Trap called Explosion Wall and used dynamite to blow the mountain up. Kalin and Yusei were separated from Nico and West, who were captured by Lawton and taken back to Crash Town. Barbara was a sly woman, it turned out she was married to Lawton and was only pretending to be Malcolm's fiancé so that he'd give authority of the town over to her. She even kicked a table in his face. Even Malcolm's gang betrayed him to serve Lawton.

Yusei and Kalin were down, but not out. Kalin, fueled by his promise to Nico and West's father to protect his children, refused to give up. They grabbed a couple of Duel Disks from the graveyard and went to Crash Town to defeat Lawton and save Nico and West. The two teamed up on Lawton in a Duel and were beginning to defeat him.

Fearing for her husband's defeat, Barbara tried to stop the Duel. However, the people of Crash Town wouldn't allow it. Lawton proved to be a man without honour when he brought out a shock gun and tried to shoot Yusei and Kalin, but Crow came in and saved them by knocking Lawton's gun away with one of his cards.

Barbara tried to hold Nico and West hostage and chock them, but Jack saved them by kicking her whip away and shoving her to the ground. Together, the Enforcers were back together. Jack and Crow even brought Sector Security along, who quickly arrested Lawton's lackeys in the mountain and freed all the prisoners there.

In a last ditch effort to escape arrest, Lawton blew Crash Town up, even leaving Barbara and escaped on his Duel Runner. Kalin first checked on Nico and West, before he chased after Lawton. When he caught Lawton, Kalin continued the Duel with him and won through the effect of Infinity Doom Slinger. With Lawton and Barbra arrested, Crash Town began to heal and rebuild.

Kalin had decided to stay in Crash Town to look after Nico and West and help rebuild it. Yusei respected Kalin's choice and returned to New Domino City with Crow and Jack. A few days later, Yusei and Bruno met up with Trudge and Mina to discuss if they've found out who Bruno is, but still haven't found the answers, but promised to keep trying.

When they were leaving, a bomb went off in the building. An evacuation was announced to everyone inside, but Yusei spotted Sherry and her guardian Elsworth in the building. It turned out they were responsible for the bomb and wanted access to the central computer terminal.

Elsworth Dueled Yusei to distract him long enough for Sherry to use the central computer terminal, but Bruno managed to get through him. It took Synchro Summoning Stardust Dragon to defeat Elsworth, but Yusei won. Yusei didn't want to stop Sherry, having learned from Elsworth that she did this to see what the card that the people who killed her parents wanted, really was.

Yusei and Elsworth hurried to the central computer terminal to join Sherry and Bruno. Bruno wanted to help Sherry too so he assessed the central computer for her. The analysis has finished and Bruno and Sherry were surprised to find that no anomalous features have been discovered in the card. But even this surprise was surpassed when the terminal surged with a storm of energy. Yusei and Elsworth ran to them, before Yusei, Bruno and Sherry were enveloped in a burst of light.

The three find themselves in a cyber-like plane. Looking around, they saw a strange mechanical object with an eye staring right at them. Even as they look at it, they were scanned with a strange frequency and were rendered unconscious. They woke up back in their world, though they were now far from the headquarters.

Elsworth, who knew nothing after the burst, acknowledged his debt to Yusei for not turning them in to Security. He carried the still-unconscious Sherry away, leaving Yusei and Bruno to wonder what just happened.

A few days later, Yusei and Bruno were trying to figure out a strange problem that Crow's Duel Runner was experiencing. They were even resorting to use a chainsaw, a hammer and a flame torch. Trudge and Mina came in and requested to talk to Crow. They've found a lead on what happened to Crow's friend Robert Pearson.

On the night Pearson died, he was Dueling someone, who defeated with a card called Crimson Mefist. The owner of the Synchro Monster was a mystery, so Crow went to visit another old friend of Robert Pearson. A man named Bolton, who was Pearson's partner. Crow showed the Crimson Mefist card to Bolton, he got a reaction.

Bolton tried to get Crow to forget what happened, but he was determined. Bolton challenged Crow to a Duel and if he won, Crow would give him the Black-Winged Dragon. Crow said he didn't have the Synchro Monster, but Bolton didn't believe him. He made a bet if Crow defeated him, he'd reveal what he knew.

Crow accepted the challenge and two days later, they Turbo Dueled. Crow forced Bolton to reveal that he was actually the person who killed Pearson. He revealed at one point in the past, Bolton's and Pearson's Duel Runner research had been put on a halt since they did not have enough funds. Some men from New Domino City heard about this problem and came to them to offer the two men an enormous investment to continue their research. However, much to the shock and anger from Bolton, Pearson refused for he wanted the kids he looked after to learn that they could do anything without the City's help. Infuriated, Bolton stole the research, planning to go to the city and challenged Pearson to a duel, during which "Crimson Mefist" knocked down a lamp that started the fire that resulted in Pearson's death.

Angered, Crow continued the Duel, but was beginning to lose. Before Crow began his last turn, the children he looked after showed up and cheered him on, giving Crow more strength. Crow's mark glowed as a card came out of the Duel Runner. The card was Pearson's ace monster, the Black-Winged Dragon.

Crow Synchro Summoned Black-Winged Dragon and used a combo of its ability and the ability of Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite to defeat Bolton and Crimson Mefist. During Crow's last turn, he got through to Bolton and made him realize that what he did was wrong. Bolton turned himself in, but before he did, he gave his company an order to provide Crow and his friends with financial backing and technical support for the WRGP.

Rick, Bolton's assistant gave Yusei, Jack and Crow's Duel Runners new engines, which gave them all a major tune up. Later on, Leo and Luna burst into the garage to see the new upgraded Duel Runners and even Yusei and Crow's new Duel Runner outfits. It was there that they settled on the team's name.

Their name was Team 5D's.

5D's name came from the Signers' marks of the Crimson Dragon. The seven of them put their hands together and said that from today onwards they are Team 5D's. At the Turbo Duel lane, Yusei, Jack and Crow were testing their new upgraded Duel Runners out. Their Duel Runners had improved big time.

Soon their time on the lane came to an end, but Crow was too excited to stop and he ends up crashing with Team Unicorn's Jean. Angry at first, Jean forgave them. Yusei, feeling bad, asked if they was anything they could do to make up for the crash. Jean said he wanted to Duel Yusei, so he accepted.

Jean's teammate Andre was a powerful opponent, but before the Duel could be decided, the time limit went off, Yusei and Jean shook hands as a good show of sportsmanship. Later, Yusei was doing laps with Akiza watching him. Then Sherry came up to them and had a little talk with the two Signers before she left. The next morning, Yusei, Jack and Bruno were relaxing, until they received a call that Crow crashed and is now in the hospital.

The three quickly took off towards the hospital to check on their friend. They found out that Crow had fractured his shoulder bone and it will fully heal in a month, meaning he wouldn't be able to participate in the first round of the WRGP. Seeing her friends in trouble, Akiza volunteered to Duel in Crow's place. At first Crow was in misery that he wouldn't be able to participate, but cheered his friends on.

Soon the WRGP finally began with Team 5D's first opponent being Team Unicorn. Jean was really good, using a different deck he used against Yusei and tricked them into sending Jack out first, which he defeated him soundly. Jack was hurt from the Duel, but managed to pass the baton onto Akiza.

Akiza did really well, she Synchro Summoned both Black Rose Dragon and Stardust Dragon at the same turn. Yusei gave her his ace monster to use against Jean. However, despite her best efforts, Jean defeated her. However, she at least kept Stardust Dragon on the field for Yusei.

As the last member of Team 5D's, Yusei had trouble at first, but managed to defeat all three members of Team Unicorn. Andre gave up the rest of his Life Points to reduce Yusei's Life Points to 2000. Breo came close to getting Yusei to deck out by sending cards from his Deck to the graveyard, but Yusei countered attack with Junk Destroyer and won.

Jean was especially tough, predicting all of Yusei's moves. Yusei at first didn't know what to do, but seeing his friends and how Jack got back on his feet to support him, Yusei countered attack. Yusei used the Speed Spell – Speed Fusion to fuse both Stardust Dragon and Junk Warrior to Fusion Summon Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste, which helped him big time. Eventually, Yusei defeated Jean by reigniting his spirit as a Duelist, which caused him to attack Yusei's Rapid Warrior with his Hypnocorn, but Yusei used his Stronghold Guardian to increase Rapid Warrior's DEF Points, reducing Jean's Life Points to 0000.

Everyone cheered for Yusei's victory and for Team 5D's. Even Team Unicorn congratulated Team 5D's for their victory. Later that night in the garage, the gang had a party to celebrate their hard earned victory. However surprisingly Sherry came into the party and had a discussion with the Signers.

Since Yusei didn't join her team, she entered the WRGP with just Elsworth, but passed the first round. Team 5D's and Sherry discussed events that has happened so far, especially the ones involving the Meklord monsters, and the duels where the damage was real, especially with the absence of the Dark Signers. Trying to link the events together, the name of Yliaster comes to mind.

They even learned that Sherry knew they were Signers. Eventually they discussed about the strange mechanical object with an eye that Yusei, Bruno and Sherry saw. Finishing their discussion for now, Sherry left the Signers to their party. Later that night, Yusei was looking up at the sky, thinking about the floating eye he saw, which for some reason felt familiar to him.

The next morning, Yusei and Jack were working on their Duel Runners, before Crow came up and reminded them that Team Unicron's match against Team Catastrophe would begin again. They all hurried to the stadium, but the match was already decided when they arrived. Jean and Andre had both crashed their Duel Runners, giving Team Catastrophe the victory. Team 5D's had a bad feeling about Team Catastrophe, so they decided to investigate. Even Breo helped.

Breo retrieved the data from Andre's and Jean's Duel Runners, and Bruno analyzes it. They found out that they both experienced a rapid change in their functionality during their Duels. His diagnosis was that both Duel Runners crashed because their rear wheels were jammed. When Crow heard this, he explained that just before his Duel Runner crashed, the wheel felt weird. He agreed with the idea of a jammed wheel. But that still didn't answered what would cause the same malfunction three times over.

Just then, Carly brought out a tape she had of Team Unicorn's Duel against Team Catastrophe. Jack scolded her for not mentioning such a valuable clue earlier. They all watched it, slowing it down just before each of the crashes. Nobody can see anything unusual about the Duel Runners, but Yusei noticed something else: just before each crash, the same monster was on Team Catastrophe's field. Bruno looked the card up and found out it was a monster called "Hook the Hidden Knight".

It was a start to their answers, and since Team 5D's will be Dueling Team Catastrophe next, they had to be ready. This raised the question of what their opponents' next move might be. With a shock, they realize that one of them wasn't there. It was Akiza they targeted next.

Later, they raced to the hospital, where Akiza was recovering from a crash she had on the highway. When Yusei saw what Team Catastrophe did to Akiza, he felt unyielding rage at what they did to her. And the feeling was mutual for Crow. To avenge Akiza, Crow shrugged off his injured shoulder, determining that he will participate. The next day, Team 5D's and Team Catastrophe square off for their battle.

Crow faced off against Team Catastrophe's Hermann. Hermann started off Summoning Hook the Hidden Knight. It took everything from Crow, mentally and physically, but he defeated Hermann and Hook the Hidden Knight. With his goal accomplished, Crow passed the baton to Jack, who faced off against Team Catastrophe's leader Nicolas.

Nicolas used another Shadow Card called Doom Ray, but Jack was able to avoid the Trap's effect and obtain victory. Nicolas couldn't pass the baton, so Team 5d's were victories. However, celebrations would have to wait. Out of nowhere an army of Ghosts showed up and started a Battle Royal in the city, attacking other Duelists.

Refusing to allow innocent people to be hurt, Team 5D's, Sherry, Elsworth and Kaz all set off to stop the army of Ghosts. Yusei teamed up with Sherry and Elsworth, while Jack teamed up with Kaz. At first things were going well, until all the Ghosts began focusing on Yusei. The army of Ghost managed to take out Elsworth and Sherry and came close to getting Yusei.

However, out of nowhere Vizor joined the battle with T.G. Blade Blaster and took out all the Ghost using a combo of Blade Blaster and a monster called Buster Blaster. With the Ghost taken care of, Vizor began to lead Yusei to safety. However, a 'man' named Primo appeared out of nowhere riding his own Duel Runner. Apparently, he was the one controlling the army of Ghost.

Vizor kept Primo from challenging Yusei, before he began to explain to Yusei about Accel Synchro. The Ener-D of one's Duel Runner was connected to the feelings of one's heart, so to achieve an unlimited acceleration; one must have a Clear Mind. With this new knowledge and overcoming his fear of the Meklord Emperors, Yusei teleported to where another Stone Tablet crashed outside New Domino City.

When Yusei touched the Stone Tablet, he was taken to another plane, where he saw a machine. Yusei recognized it as the same one he has seen before with Sherry and Bruno. It gave him a blank Synchro Monster card, though it did say it wasn't his to give. The machine said that the card belonged to Yusei and saw many possible futures, but it was Yusei's choice to make. Yusei wanted more information about this, but he was transported back to the crater where he found the tablet.

With the blank Synchro Monster card, Yusei took off back towards New Domino City on his Duel Runner to stop Primo. He quickly found Primo and Vizor, who were in a Turbo Duel. Yusei took over for Vizor, who went to take care of the army of Ghosts. Primo was no joke, having Summoned Meklord Emperor Wisel in his Duel against Vizor.

Yusei had trouble, having failed his first attempt to Accel Synchro, Stardust was absorbed by Wisel, but eventually Yusei Accel Synchro Summoned his new ace monster.

Shooting Star Dragon.

It was a beautiful dragon, powerful and majestic. With Shooting Star Dragon, Yusei defeated Primo and Meklord Emperor Wisel. However, that was when Yusei met Primo's comrades, Jakob and Lester and together the three of them were the three emperors of Yliaster. Jack and Crow joined Yusei as Jakob explained their goal.

They were supposedly trying to guide the world in the right direction, but Yusei and the others didn't buy it. Sherry and Elsworth came out of nowhere and attacked Jakob and Lester, but failed their objective. If things weren't bad enough, another Stone Tablet came down, but Jakob stopped it. He absorbed the Stone Tablet and summoned his own Meklord Emperor, Meklord Emperor, Grannel.

Jakob and Lester took Primo and disappeared from view. Because of the Ghost Invasion, the WRGP would be on hold for some time, allowing the city to recover. With the faces of Iliaster's faces revealed, Team 5d's and Sherry knew who they had to defeat. Akiza and Crow had fully healed and were ready for the upcoming battle against Iliaster.

One day, Yusei and Jack received a message from Greiger, asking them to meet him. The two traveled to the Nazca region, where they saw sights they hoped to never see again. They saw the geoglyph of the Earthbound Immortals. It was a very unwelcoming sight, but they continued on. Jack had been having problems; having heard about Yusei's Accel Synchro and has been thinking of obtaining a new power himself. The only reason he came was because Greiger's letter said "If Jack Atlas does not acquire a new method of fighting, he will be overwhelmed by his own monster." Jack initially seems to dismiss the premonition but retains a firm belief in his power-pressure tactics.

Soon they met with Greiger and met his siblings Annie and Max. Both of Greiger's siblings were fans of Jack, Max even based his deck off of Jack's deck

Greiger had created a temple in order to appease the Earthbound Immortals, whose geoglyphs have returned to their rightful places. Greiger has been traveling with his siblings to escape from his crimes. Even though he knew that everyone makes mistakes, Greiger decided to move on knowing that he had done the wrong thing. So, he took himself and his siblings to where the Earthbound Immortal geoglyphs were, built a temple, and hoped to serve as guardians of the geoglyphs. Greiger noted that recently, villages have lost various livestock, and the villagers think a "crimson devil" is responsible for this, and is trying to resurrect something from the land.

Yusei asked if Iliaster was involved, while Jack was worried that the Earthbound Immortals would rise again. Greiger conceded that it may be impossible to seal the Earthbound Immortals away permanently. That's when he had the dream about Jack. Greiger believed that he was seeing a premonition, because he used to be controlled by an Earthbound Immortal himself. When Jack heard what Greiger described in his dream, he dismissed it as merely repeating the questions Jack himself had been asking. To give Jack a chance to prove himself, Greiger challenged him to a Turbo Duel.

However instead of him Dueling, Greiger had Max Duel Jack instead with him driving for his little brother. Before the Turbo Duel began, Greiger, Annie and Yusei light up a line of gas lights with fire torches. Eventually, it was shaped as the Killer Whale geoglyph. Greiger explains that it can be used as a lane for Turbo Duels. The Turbo Duel between Jack and Max began.

However, something was wrong. Max's deck had changed. The cards were different and Max had different monsters. Max used two Traps called Smoke Mirror, which increased the DEF Points of a monster called Ancestor Bird to 6000. When Jack attacked with Red Dragon Archfiend, he was damaged from Ancestor Bird's DEF Points being greater than Red Dragon Archfiend's ATK Points.

Jack was knocked off his Duel Runner, which interrupted the duel. Jack barked at Max, then left on his Duel Runner, more determined than ever not to abandon his ideals. Jack had road off to a village, where he met an old man. The old man was saying that 'the crimson devil' did something to his village because there was nobody else there, but him.

Jack figured out that this was the village Greiger told him about and asked what happened to the villagers. Thankfully, they all just left. Suddenly, Jack heard a chilling laughter before he saw some kind of shadow. Jack chased after the shadow, which looked like live flames, but found his way back to the old man. However, the old man was being controlled.

Jack saw the flames of a campfire turn into the crimson devil, before somekind of image appeared in his head. The creature controlling the old man was the Crimson Devil's servant, who told Jack that his master could grant his wish for more power. The Crimson Devil's servant told Jack to go to the shrine, where his master will grant his wish before the campfire returned to normal and the Crimson Devi's servant released the old man.

Meanwhile Yusei was discussing with Greiger why he let Max Duel Jack. Greiger at first didn't know why he had Max Duel Jack, but he realized that he was being controlled by the Crimson Devil the whole time. They rushed to the shine, where Max told them that Jack went inside of the shrine towards the Crimson Devil.

There, Jack met the Crimson Devil's servant who controlled the old man. The two had a Duel where if Jack won, the Crimson Devil would give him new power. However if he would lose, the Crimson Devil would take over his body. Yusei, Greiger and Max arrived in time to watch the Duel between the Crimson Devil's servant and Jack. It turned out the Crimson Devil was actually an Earthbound Immortal, that's been sealed away way longer than the others. The Crimson Devil's name was Red Nova and its come for Jack.

At first Jack was getting beaten very badly, but he began Dueling using a different approach. It was very effective as Jack began gaining ground. Apparently, Jack was the reincarnation of a legendary Signer who had a Burning Soul. The legendary Signer helped in Red Nova's defeat and sealed it away. This was the reason why the Crimson Devil wanted to take over Jack's body.

To do this, Red Nova appeared in front of Jack, but that proved to be a mistake. Jack's Burning Soul wasn't afraid of Red Nova and would fight to protect his friends. Jack unlocked the power of Burning Soul! Red Nova tried to stop Jack, but the Crimson Dragon appeared and aided Jack. With Jack's new power, he created a new Synchro Summoning called Double Tuning.

Jack absorbed the power of Red Nova into his Red Dragon Archfiend, allowing it to evolve into a new dragon called Red Nova Dragon, a truly powerful dragon. Together with Red Nova Dragon, Jack obtained victory and defeated Red Nova's servant. With their business done, Yusei and Jack went home. Yusei had Clear Mind and Jack had Burning Soul, new powers that will help them defeat Yliaster.

A few days after returning to New Domino City, Yusei, Jack, Crow and Bruno were shopping for Oshiruko Noodles. However, they ran into a disguised Lazar, which was a stroke of luck. The four tried to corner him to interrogate him, but the sneaky clown got away because Jack was still angry about Lazar having his noodles. The four met up with Akiza, Leo and Luna, who were disappointed in them for allowing Lazar to get away.

However Jack came up with an idea, which was sure to get Lazar's attention. They held a 'Red Demon's Noodles event, an event where people would Duel Crow and if they win, receive a year supply of Red Demon's Noodles. Crow had to wear an embarrassing costume, but that didn't stop his winning streak.

Eventually Lazar came out in another disguise, but it didn't fool the gang. They tried to capture him again, but the clown got away again, however Yusei acted quickly and threw a tracer on him. Yusei, Crow, Jack and Bruno went after Lazar and found his hideout. They tried to interrogate him about Yliaster, but he wouldn't speak.

Crow suggested a Duel between him and Lazar. If he won, Lazar would talk but if he losses, Lazar can go free, which the clown accepted. Lazar tried to use the same strategy he used against Crow in their last Duel, but Crow was ready. He made a comeback, however that was when Lazar's family came out of hiding. Seeing Lazar's son cheer for his father, Crow tried to lose on purpose, but Lazar didn't allow it and let Crow defeated him.

Lazar wouldn't run or hide anymore and would help defeat Yliaster. Yusei called the rest of the gang, plus Sherry over and they began the interrogation. At first Lazar told everyone about his life, on how his family used to run a circus, but closed down and how noodles had an important impact on his life. Jack was moved by this as he remembered in his childhood how he, Crow and Yusei all enjoyed noodles themselves.

However, they got back on track. After Lazar had told them everything he claimed to know, he asked if they need any help. Crow noted that Iliaster's goal was to destroy the place, while their goal is to reveal their identities. Crow thought Iliaster was weird as Yusei reflected on his meeting with the Three Emperors of Iliaster. Jakob said that their goal was to change the future. In the present, Jack repeated that their goal was to change the future and recreate Ener-D. To achieve that, they needed to erase New Domino from existence. Lazar was shocked to learn that this horrible thing was Iliaster's true motive. Crow pointed out that that is why they told him to listen. Fed-up with Lazar, Jack started taking back the ramen he gave to the clown, unless he starts talking. Lazar desperately apologized and claimed to remember something else. He told them about a time when he got a phone call from an outside company who sent the three directors.

Yusei asked what their name is. Lazar informed him that most of the stuff had been recorded in a database by the Public Security Maintenance Bureau. Bruno asks where the database is, which Lazar replied with a grin. He took the gang to a arcade called Game Paradise, apparently what they wanted to know had been stored in game that resembled a Duel Terminal with three levels and they had to clear them.

Lazar, Jack, Akiza and Yusei took chances at the Duel Puzzles, but Jack and Lazar failed at their attempts. Yusei and Akiza were successful, though only with help from Jack and Lazar after watching their attempts. They learned that the company that sent Iliaster was the Moment Express Development Organization.

Yusei, Bruno and Sherry went in the Moment Express Development Organization undercover to learn about their connection to Iliaster. Eventually Bruno was able to hack in, but didn't find out their connection to Iliaster. To learn more, they decided to check a Level 10 doorway that Yusei spotted.

To do this, they needed an access key, so they went to the owner's officer. Yusei was separated from Sherry and Bruno when the owner, a man named Clark appeared and had a Concentration Duel. Yusei Dueled him to buy Bruno and Sherry time. It was tricky with this different type of Duel, and unfair because Clark cheated, but Yusei won thanks to his every trusty Stardust Dragon.

However Clark set off the alarm as Yusei hurried to join up with Bruno and Sherry. They managed to find a file about Iliaster. Yusei caught up with his friends, who showed him that they have gotten hold of a file on Iliaster. They were spotted by Momentum Express employees. They ran and Yusei lead them into a large room containing a shuttle. Sherry suggested that they hide inside the shuttle, which the two males agree to.

When they got inside, the door quickly closed behind them. They realized that they've been tricked and ran up to the front of the shuttle. They started banging on the window as the shuttle was transported across the room. Clark watched on his monitor and said that Yusei will now disappear between two time periods. The shuttle stopped over a device called Infinity, which activated, causing Ener-D to swirl around the shuttle.

Clark Smith appeared on a screen, where he identified Yusei and Sherry by name and called Bruno their friend. Sherry questioned how he knew her name and Yusei informed her that Clark had already been aware of their identities. Clark explained that they have fallen for his trap. The fact that Momentum Express would do such a thing was proof enough for Sherry that they were connected to Yliaster. She questioned Clark if he knew the man who murdered her father. Clark explained that Dr. LeBlanc was a good human being, but he asked too many questions. He was in charge of creating control cards to complete the Infinity device, but asked too many questions, and came to know Infinity's true power to traverse time, which Yliaster will use to falsify history. This was taboo not yet known to the world. Dr. LeBlanc realized this so he tried to get rid of it. Upon discovering this, Clark authorized the execution of Dr. LeBlanc. Sherry was enraged at finally knowing the reason for her father's murder.

Since they had that conversation, Clark couldn't allow Yusei, Sherry and Bruno to return safely. He explained that their shuttle lacked a control card and will thus be thrown out of the wormhole and into a dimensional distortion. Clark mockingly bids them farewell, before the screen shut off. Infinity activated, and the ring of Ener-D circling the shuttle changed to an infinity symbol, and a beam of Ener-D was shot through it into the sky.

Yusei, Sherry and Bruno's trip started off badly, they were knocked unconscious and the shuttle was starting to be torn apart. To save them, Sherry used the Z-One card that her father left for her, which stabilized the shuttle. However, the glass broke apart and Sherry was lost in the wormhole. Yusei tried to save her, but Sherry made the ultimate sacrifice to allow Yusei to live. She let herself go into the wormhole, allowing Yusei and Bruno to escape.

The shuttle took Yusei and Bruno to somekind of apocalyptic future, where Yusei met his father's spirit once more. Dr Fudo told Yusei that he couldn't allow this future to come to pass, for it would lead to mankind's destruction. Dr. Fudo disappeared, leaving his son with unanswered questions. The shuttle's controls are active, meaning that Yusei and Bruno could go home.

Unknown to them was that Iliaster used some kind of mysterious power to alter the world, erasing the Moment Express Development Organization from existence and allowing them to enter the WRGP. The Signers' marks kept them safe from the mysterious power and allowed them to keep their memories from the phenomenon. Lazar and Elsworth were with them, enabling them to be protected as well.

The shuttle took Yusei and Bruno home to New Domino City, where they reunited with the rest of the gang. However, the island that Yusei and Bruno saw in the future had appeared in the sky with only the Signers able to see it. The island was called the final moment, which lead humanity to destruction.

They tried to return to Moment Express, but it was gone, as if it never existed. The gang returned to the garage with Yusei and Bruno telling Elsworth of Sherry's fate. Elsworth refused to believe that Sherry was dead and set out to find her. Crow showed Yusei that Jakob, Lester and Primo were part of the WRGP as a team called 'Team New World' and Sherry and Elsworth's team had disappeared.

The three emperors of Iliaster even changed the tournament so that their team could be a part of it. Yusei revealed that Iliaster had the power to change the past and present, and they recently did it to allow them to enter the WRGP. Despite these changes, Team 5D's were determined to battle Team New World and know what their plan is.

Trudge and Mina came in, needing to talk with the Signers. Trudge and Mina explained that the World Racing Grand Prix might be canceled. Lazar listened from inside a box he was hiding as Mina explained that there have been complaints from the public against the tournament after the preliminary rounds and the steering committee decided it would be best to cancel the tournament. After what happened before with the Ghost Army, Trudge doesn't find it impossible that it had come to this. He tried everything he could, but they wouldn't listen. Mina explained that Goodwin's seat has been vacant and nobody knows where Lazar was, thus leaving Sector Security too weak to convince the tournament committee. Yusei and Jack grumble that if it is canceled, they will lose their chance to fight the three emperors.

However, Lazar decided to step out into the light and take the director's seat and allow the WRGP to continue. He told the Signers that he would fight his own way against the three emperors. Later that afternoon, Yusei was watching the sunset, wondering what his father meant by "the place which leads to the destruction of mankind and the last Ener-D". He recalled the time when his father saved him from the souls of the Netherworld in the old system, before coming to a sudden realization of a possibility concerning his father.

The next day, Leo met with Team 5D's next opponent, Team Sun, with three members. Three young men called Taro Yamashita, Yoshizo Hayashi and Jinbei Tanigawa. They lived in the countryside with their families, until Taro heard of the WRGP and decided they should have a shot at it. They created one Duel Runner for all of them to use in the WRGP. They were also fans of Team 5D's

Leo brought Yusei and Bruno to Team Sun, who helped make their Duel Runner better. Taro, Yoshizo and Jinbel reminded Yusei of himself when he was creating his Duel Runner back in the Satellite. They even understood that low level cards had incredible potential if played right. They earned Yusei's complete respect. The two teams looked forward to their Duel and promised that no matter the outcome, they'd have no regrets.

However during their time with Team Sun, Yusei, Bruno and Leo missed Jack's Exhibition Duel against Team Ragnarok's Dragan. Dragan had the choice to pick any opponent and he chose Jack for some reason. Jack's Red Dragon Archfiend clashed with Dragan's Thor, Lord of the Aesir, creating a powerful shockwave which canceled the Duel. Soon the day came for Team 5D's to face Team Sun, though they were surprised to see that they would face each other so soon. Yusei told the team that he saw Team Sun's deck when they asked for his autograph and didn't even see one rare card, but that didn't mean the match would be easy.

Jack didn't consider them a threat, thinking that Team Ragnarok was who they really needed to watch out for. He recalled his Duel with Dragan and how powerful his Thor, Lord of the Aesir was. During his match, he saw somekind of mark appear on Dragan's eye. Soon the time for the Duel to begin came.

Jack went first and faced off against Yoshizo. Yoshizo Dueled in an interesting way, using low level monsters and only using them in DEF mode with the only effect monster being Hand-Holding Genie, and relying on Speed World 2 to deal damage. However, they seemed to be drawing out the Duel for some reason.

Eventually, Jack defeated Yoshizo and went on to face Jin. Jin proved to be a tougher opponent than Yoshizo, proving that by both outsmarting and defeating Jack. Jack passed the baton over to Crow, who avenged Jack and defeated Jin. Only Taro remained and he had to face Crow and Yusei alone, with cards he inherited from his friends. However, Yusei began to understand what Team Sun's plan was for the Duel the whole time.

They were waiting to summon a powerful monster, a monster called Zushin the Sleeping Giant. This monster was known to have powers that rival the Egyptian God cards, but could never be summoned because the condition to summon it was high. In order to summon it, a Level 1 monster needed to remain on the field for 20 turns and Team Sun had kept Key Mace for a very long time.

Team 5D's warned Crow, who quickly tried to stop Taro, but failed. On Taro's turn, Team Sun's hope, Zushin the Sleeping Giant appeared, and the counterattack began. Zushin proved to be too much for Crow and was defeated. Now it was up to Yusei to once again do the impossible and defeat Zushin.

And once again, Yusei accomplished the impossible. He used an incredible combo of his Shooting Star Dragon, Jack's Monster Baton and Crow's Blackwing – Boreas the Sharp to defeat Zushin and win the match. Despite their lost, Team Sun celebrated with the crowd cheering for them.

Team 5D's next opponent was to be Team Ragnarok and their ace monsters, the three gods of Aesir. Yusei, Jack and Crow met the three members of the Rune Eyes, Halldor, Dragan and Broder. The three had come to stop Iliaster, Halldor, their leader had gathered his teammates from around the world to accomplish this goal.

Yusei tried to form an alliance with them, but Halldor's Odin, Father of the Aesir wouldn't allow it. Odin thought Yusei was curse because his father caused Zero Reverse and it wouldn't ally with the Crimson Dragon. Dragan revealed what his connection to Jack was. Dragan Dueled Jack a long time ago when he was the Turbo Dueling champion and purposely lost against him because Goodwin blackmailed him into doing. Goodwin promised Dragan if he lost to Jack, he would pay for Dragan's father's recovery, who was hurt when they went searching for Thor, Lord of the Aesir.

It was settled that their Duel would decide who would face Team New World and save the world from them, and for Jack and Dragan's score to be settled. Jack didn't believe what Dragan told him so he went to Lazar to find out if what he said was true. It was true, Dragan lost to Jack on purpose and Jack's pride as a Duelist took a blow. Yusei had a talk with his rival and told him that to prove to himself that he was the Duelist he believed he was, he needed to defeat Dragan.

The next day the Duel between Team 5D's and Team Ragnarok began with Jack and Dragan going first. It was a hard fought battle against Dragan and Thor, but Jack and Red Nova Dragon defeated them. However, Thor would be sticking around because of his ability. Team Ragnarok's Broder took over and instantly defeated Jack. Jack passed the baton over to Crow and he battled Broder.

Crow and Broder were actually very alike, they both fought for children. Broder used to be a treasure hunter, but changed after seeing island children suffer. Broder was reminded of the kids he looked after when he saw Crow's kids cheering for him. The two Duelist respected each other and fought with everything they had and it ended in a draw.

Both teams' leaders, Yusei and Halldor battled with Halldor starting off with Dragan's Thor and Broder's Loki, two lords of the Aesir cards and Yusei had nothing. Halldor didn't waste anytime and Summoned Odin, leaving Yusei to fight all three Aesir cards by himself. The Duel was incredible; Yusei had to use both Majestic Star Dragon and Shooting Star Dragon, but once again he accomplished the impossible and won.

Everybody cheered for Yusei and Team 5D's victory. Halldor and the Aesir cards accepted Yusei and the rest of the Signers as friends and allies and trusted them to defeat Team New World. The next day, Yusei, Jack and Crow were discussing their upcoming battle with Team New World. The three were determined to defeat the three emperors and make that temple that appeared in the sky disappear.

While the three were thinking about their upcoming battle, Leo, Luna and Akiza helped Carly with an article about the WRGP. They started off by introducing their team's name, its members, about their pasts, what's happened, the Crimson Dragons, their status as Signers and their dragon monsters. They even talked about Bruno. However that all went down the drain.

Back with the guys, they went to the stadium and met up with the rest of Team 5D's. They stared at the black temple in the sky. Leo was able to see it by making hand contact with Luna. Jakob, Primo and Lester appeared on the hologram before Team 5D's and explained that the island they see is called the Divine Temple. They explained that its purpose was to destroy New Domino City and recreate the world.

Team New World disappeared; leaving Team 5D's restless. Team Ragnarok came out of nowhere and confirmed that to save the world, they needed to defeat Team New World. With their goal clear, Team 5D's was ready. The next day, the WRGP's final match between Team New World and Team 5D's and the battle for the fate of the world began.

Things were going well at first. Jack went first and defeated Lester and Primo, but something didn't feel right to Yusei. They were being protective of a Trap Card called Infinite Aura. Yusei warned Jack to try to destroy it, but Primo kept him from doing that.

When Jakob went out, everything went wrong. Team New World spent the whole Duel preparing for when Jakob took his turn. Jakob didn't waste time and summoned Meklord Emperor, Grannel. It's ATK Points were equal to Jakob's Life and Infinite Aura was used to gather counters so that they could increase Jokob's Life Points all the way up to 12000.

Jokob defeated Jack instantly, Grannel absorbed Red Nova Dragon, and then Crow went out. Crow did his best, but he was defeated as well. Once again, the fate of the world was in Yusei's hands again, thought Crow left Yusei with his Black-Winged Dragon and a face down card, while Jack left a face down card. Jack and Crow's battles against Jokob left them injured so badly that they were sent to the infirmary.

Black-Winged Dragon was destroyed by Grannel, but Yusei used Crow's face down, Shadow Impulse to summon Stardust Dragon. Yusei was determined to keep fighting, but that spirit made Jakob show Yusei, Bruno, Akiza, Leo, Luna, Crow and Jack the future, the same chaotic one that Yusei and Bruno saw before.

The stone tablets stabbed on the ground were actually Synchro Monster cards. Then, things turned horrifying when they saw the center New Domino's bridge network, meaning that this future was New Domino City's future. Then Jakob, Lester and Primo appeared before them, who explained and showed what happened.

Before Armageddon, New Domino City had advanced very much and people became obsessed with Synchro Summoning. They taught, Dueled and lived by Synchro Summon, and that evolved the world. Synchro Summons were the symbol of prosperity, and helped the evolution of the world. Then one day, the world was invaded by Meklord Emperors.

They attacked New Domino City and killed millions of people. Team 5D's was in disbelief at what they were seeing. They also saw that Primo, Lester and Jakob 'were from' the future. Lester lost his parents, Primo lost the woman he loved and Jakob was alone at the end. The Ener-D from that area began rotating backwards as if it could feel the people's hearts and destroyed the world.

Team 5D's and New World returned to the present with Yusei and Jakob continuing their Duel. Yusei refused to believe that was their future and continued to fight. Yusei believed that their bound will open the future and Accel Synchro Summoned Shooting Star Dragon. Yusei used Shooting Star Dragon's ability and drew five Tuner monsters, allowing Shooting Star Dragon to attack five times.

Shooting Star Dragon attacked, freeing the captured Red Nova Dragon, reduced Jakob's Life Points and destroyed Grannel. However, Jakob, Lester and Primo weren't finished yet. They merged to form their original person, Aporia. Aporia's Duel Runner was a combination of Primo's, Jakob's and Lester's Duel Runners. Aporia was more powerful than Jakob and summoned the ultimate Meklord Emperor, Meklord Emperor Astro Mekanikle.

Astro Mekanikle was so powerful that it created lightning and attacked New Domino City. It even absorbed Shooting Star Dragon. Thinking his victory was assured, Aporia told the tale on how he separated himself into three. He showed Team 5D's his past, when he was in his Jakob stag and was in despair from being alone, he was saved from that pain by three cloaked figures.

Aporia joined them on their mission to bring back hope to their future. They searched for ways to restore humanity and their destroyed world, but they all failed. Two of the four passed away, soon Aporia was going to join them. He requested a request from the last member, a person he called Z-one.

His heart was made of three despairs, losing his parents, the woman he loved killed and having no one left to love. He asked Z-one to split his heart into 3 despairs and use them as his minions. He entrusted his hope to his remaining friend Z-one, who honoured his request and promised to do it.

They all returned to the present, where Aporia revealed that Jakob, Lester and Primo were his three despairs and created Iliaster. Aporia planned to wipe New Domino city from history, he demonstrated his power by destroying more of New Domino City and forcing the Turbo Duel off the circuit. They Dueled on public road.

However Yusei wouldn't give up hope and continued to fight. Yusei lured Aporia to the old BAD area so that innocent bystanders wouldn't get hurt. Yusei fought, having needed to destroy his beloved Shooting Star Dragon to survive. However he managed to resummon it to fight again, and in a way to keep it safe from being absorbed. However, Aporia had a counter measure for this.

Seeing Yusei in danger, Jack and Crow left the hospital, boarded their damaged Duel Runners and went off to join Yusei. Jack reminded Yusei about his set card, giving Yusei hope. Jack's Trap Twin Soul increased Shooting Star Dragon's DEF Points and saved Yusei. Aporia summoned both Red Nova Dragon and Black-Winged Dragon to Yusei's field and absorbed them.

Yusei fought back with everything he had. He summoned Black-Winged Dragon, Red Nova Dragon and Shooting Star Dragon, the three dragons that represented him, Jack and Crow.

Once again, Yusei accomplished the impossible and defeated Aporia. Aproia was sent into the ocean from the force of the attacks from the three dragons, and Team 5D's was declared the winner of the WRGP. Team 5D's, Team Ragnarok celebrated their victory, even Elsworth came back to congratulate them. However, things weren't over yet.

Aporia may have lost the Duel, but he completed what he was really aiming for. He summoned the Divine Temple. Lazar come dashing over to Team 5D's, warning that they must hurry over to Sector Security, so they can come up with a strategy. Elsworth joined them and they all went to Sector Security headquarters.

A large group of workers were analysing the situation. The power level from the Ener-D was going down and continued to drop. At this rate, the workers estimate that the Ener-D will reach a standstill. Lazar ordered a check be run on the system's program, asking them to search for any strange patterns or disturbances in the system. They tried, but the power went off, along with the whole city's power. They quickly switched to the backup power.

They learned that the old Ener-D had reactivated in the old BAD area and was spinning in the opposite direction. A man named Zigzix made contact and told the gang that three Planetary Particle gears were producing a large amount of Ener-D. Zigzix explained that since it's rotating in reverse, it is producing minus Ener-D. Jack hypothesised that it is using that to take control of Ener-D in New Domino, which Zigzix confirmed.

However, Zigzix added that that wasn't the most frightening problem at the moment, as the Cradle was slowly descending onto the city. He calculated that if things continue as is, the structure will hit ground level within twelve hours, producing a shock wave, destroying everything within a radius of several hundred kilometres, including the entire city.

Everyone was shocked at what they learned. Lazar quickly ordered an evacuation for everyone in New Domino City, but it would take 24 hours, not enough time. Still, Lazar decided to try anyway and evacuate as many people as he could, but he would stay. Team 5D's used Sector Security's monitors to learn as much as they could about the Divine Temple, but learned something shocking. The Divine Temple was actually the old Satellite!

They tried to find a way to stop the Divine Temple, until Bruno explained a way that could work. They needed to turn the Divine Temple's negative spin into a positive spin, but without Ener-D energy, they couldn't do it. However, Team Ragnarok came with a solution.

Their Rune Eyes allowed their Duel Runners to function, so Team 5D's Duel Runners would still function as well because of the Crimson Dragon's powers. They tested it out and they were right. Yusei decided to go to the Divine Temple and stop this. However, Sherry appeared on Yusei's screen and warned them to not try to stop it.

She told them if Yusei went to the Divine Temple, he'll die.

Everyone was in disbelief at what Sherry said, some refused to believe it. However Sherry told them that Z-one, the god of the Divine Temple showed her the future. She revealed that Z-one was the floating eye that she, Yusei and Bruno met before and was the one that 'gave' Yusei Shooting Star Dragon.

Worse of all, Sherry joined Z-one and was fine if New Domino City was destroyed, because in her words, thousands of lives will be saved. Yusei tried to convince her to change her mind, but she was firm on her decision. However, despite her warning, Yusei was determined to save New Domino City.

The others didn't want Yusei to go to the Divine Temple because they didn't want Yusei to die, especially Leo, Luna and Akiza. It really warmed Yusei's heart to see that everyone cared so much for him, but he couldn't agree to their request. He remembered what his father told him and set off to stop the Divine Temple. Team Ragnarok agreed to help Yusei with the power of their Aesir cards to create the Rainbow Bridge Bifrost to take Yusei to the Divine Temple.

Team Ragnarok would use the old Ener-D reactor to create Bifrost at the Daedalus Bridge. To accomplish this, Yusei asked Bruno for his help without telling the others. Yusei was willing to go to the Divine Temple alone, but the others wouldn't allow it. They quickly chased after Yusei to aid him.

Soon it was go time. Team Ragnarok summoned the three gods of Aesir and created Bifrost for Yusei. However, the rest of Team 5D's came along for the ride. Yusei tried to convince them to evacuate, but the others wouldn't budge. Instead they convinced Yusei to let them go with him to the Divine Temple. Soon they were heading towards the Divine Temple on Bifrost, however they had an unexpected ally join them.

Vizor joined them on their adventure to the Divine Temple. They arrived safely, though barely. They all journeyed to the center of the Divine Temple, where Z-one welcomed and separated them.

The gang was split into three teams. Yusei was with Vizor, Jack was with the twins and Akiza and Crow were together. Vizor showed that the separate paths they'd take would lead them to three separate Planetary Gears. If they don't shut those Planetary Gears down, the Ener-D's main gear would keep rotating and they won't be able to change it to a positive rotation. Vizor explained that they don't have much time, so Yusei told the others that they'd have to split-up and stop the gears.

Although they didn't like it, everyone agreed and set off, though Crow told Yusei that he better not die. The gang set off to stop the Planetary Gears and save New Domino City, though opponents awaited them at their destinations.

Akiza and Crow faced off against Sherry, but not before Crow gave her the Z-one Spell card. Sherry tried to use trickery and false promises to both turn and defeat Crow and Akiza, but the two remained strong and soon defeated Sherry. During the Duel, they learned that Sherry joined Z-one so that he could change the past and revive Sherry's parents.

Crow managed to convince Sherry that her parents wouldn't want her to kill thousands of people just to have them back and to believe in the future that they can bring. Sherry, after remembering something important her father told her, decided to aid them in stopping the Divine Temple and joined Akiza and Crow to the central gear.

Jack, Leo and Luna battled Aporia, who Z-one had retrieved and healed back to 100%. Things were going terrible as Jack, Leo and Luna's life force were connected to their Life Points. If they were defeated, they would die. Leo did many moves to help his teammates, but Aporia used every chance to instead make things worse for Luna and Jack.

Leo began to doubt himself and thought he shouldn't have come, but Jack and Luna helped him. In order to protect his friends, Leo was willing to give his life. He started his counterattack, giving up Life Points and his life. He summoned both Power Tool Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon, but that activated Meklord Astro Dragon Asterisk's effect.

Leo's Life Points dropped to 0 and he died.

Jack and Luna tried to call out to Leo, however Luna started to slowly die as her Life Points dropped slowly. However, Leo's Morphtronic Lantron's effect activated. It was a chance through luck. If successful, Leo would come back with 100 Life Points. And they were successful and Leo come back to life.

However, something unbelievable happened. The Crimson Dragon's marks appeared on Leo's back as a new mark was formed. The mark of the heart was created. Leo was revived and evolved into the first sixth Signer, something Leo had always wished he would become someday.

At seeing Luna's Life Points dropping slowly, Leo called on the power of the Crimson Dragon to save her. Leo tuned his Power Tool Dragon to his Morphtronic Lantron. The Crimson Dragon appeared before them, surprising everyone as the Crimson Dragon freed Power Tool Dragon from his mechanical binds and returned him to his real world.

The final Signer Dragon, Life Stream Dragon.

Life Stream Dragon turned everything around. He stopped Aporia from inflicting Effect Damage and restored Leo, Luna and Jack's Life Points to 2000. Life Stream Dragon had restored hope for them all, but Aporia didn't believe in hope and said their actions were a waste because there was no hope.

But the three Signers' resolves were unwavering as they continued to fight. Aporia tried to stop them from Synchro Summoning, but Ancient Fairy Dragon destroyed his plan. With Synchro Summoning secured, Jack first summoned Red Dragon Archfiend, then Synchro Summoned Red Nova Dragon.

Red Nova Dragon battled Meklord Astro Dragon Asterisk. Aporia tried to increase his monster's ATK Points to destroy Red Nova Dragon, but Leo and Luna stopped him. Red Nova Dragon destroyed Astro Dragon Asterisk and reduced Aporia's Life Points to 0000. With Aporia defeated, the Planetary Gear shut down. The room began to collapse, so the three Signers quickly escaped.

However, during their Duel with Aporia, they returned hope to him. He disappeared from the three Signers' sight with a smile full of hope. Now only one Planetary Gear was left.

Yusei and Vizor arrived at their Planetary Gear, but unlike the others, no one awaited them there. Four glowing orbs of Ener-D appeared and went towards Vizor. They engulf him and made him remember who he was. Vizor revealed two things to Yusei that shocked him.

Vizor was Bruno the whole time and he was an ally to Z-one. He was to be Yusei's opponent. Bruno's real name was Antinomy and he is the one, who shall protect the Planetary Gear and the Divine Temple. Yusei told him not to joke around; he was their friend, Bruno. However Antinomy told that Yusei he was wrong; he is Z-one's friend, Antinomy.

Antinomy refused to let Yusei pass, so the two of them Turbo Dueled. The setting suddenly changed to outer space with the two of them racing along a white path. The loser would disappear forever. This Duel was unlike their last Duel because Antinomy was Dueling to win and Yusei had to dodge leaping flames.

In their Duel, Yusei questioned Antinomy just who is Z-one. Antinomy began by explaining his past. Antinomy used to be a pro Turbo Duelist. His hope derived from the dreams he had of showing people all over the world the magnificence of Dueling and he had never doubted his beliefs.

One day his manager tried to tell him to stop using Synchro Summoning, but he refused. He believed that Synchro Summoning was their salvation, but was wrong. The Meklord Invasion happened and Antinomy wondered if Synchro Summoning was what caused this. A Meklord Emperor Grannel appeared before him and was about to kill him, but Z-one appeared and saved him.

He was lost in despair and when saw Z-one fighting with hope, it gave him hope. He joined Z-one in his quest to save the future. It took him his whole life and when his life reached its end, he asked Z-one to revive him as his servant. Z-one granted his request.

Once revived, Antinomy was given the mission to protect Yusei and aid in his growth. He admitted that he didn't think Yusei would progress this far and didn't think that he himself would be the one to crush him himself.

Yusei questioned if Antinomy considered him to be no more than a gear in his plans. Antinomy replied that the Divine Temple had surfaced and New Domino City's destruction is as good as confirmed, so the creation of a new future was all but assured. However the completion of that plan allowed no room for Yusei to advance any further.

Yusei demanded Antinomy to not talk like that and pointed out that it wasn't just him Antinomy deceived, but everyone in Team 5D's. He asked if Antinomy honestly saw hope in this future he was trying to create by sacrificing this world. He demanded Antinomy to answer. Antinomy replied that similar to how Team 5D's were connected by a strong bond, him, Z-one and his friends have formed a strong bond within the pit of despair and his very mission is to aid Z-one.

Yusei asked if that was what Antinomy really wanted to do and called him Bruno one last time. He repeated that his name was Antinomy. Yusei vowed to defeat him for the sake of the future and his friends. The two continued their Turbo Duel, with Yusei's Accel Synchro Monster Shooting Star Dragon going up against T.G Blade Blaster.

But then Antinomy revealed something shocking, an advanced form of Accel Synchro called Delta Accel Synchro and summon a monster called T.G Halberd Cannon. Yusei was in disbelief that there was an advanced Accel Synchro. Things started going from bad to worse for Yusei as Halberd Cannon pretty much sealed all his moves before he made them and to put the icing on the cake, a black hole appeared and wouldn't disappear until it got one of the two Duelist.

It seemed hopeless for Yusei. His Life Points had been reduced to 100 and Shooting Star Dragon's ATK Points had been reduced to 100 as well. However, Yusei wouldn't give up, he continued on. Yusei used an incredible combo of his Shooting Star Dragon, Balance Blaster, Necro Defender and Enduring Soul, which won him the Duel.

However both Yusei and Antinomy was absorbed into the black hole, where they had their final conversation. Antinomy begged Yusei to save both the world and Z-one. Antinomy explained that after seeing Yusei do the impossible so many times, he made a decision, to believe in Yusei's potential. He believed in Yusei, so he Dueled him to show him the power beyond Accel Synchro, thinking that he can find his own Delta Accel Synchro.

Antinomy wished he could have met Yusei in different circumstances and believed they could have been true friends. But Yusei told him that they were friends and called him Bruno. Antinomy was in disbelief as he remembered the days he spent with Yusei and Team 5D's, those were the best days he ever had.

Bruno used the last of his Duel Runner's power to push Yusei out of the black hole and to safety. Yusei cried out Bruno's name, who disappeared with a smile on his face, happy that Yusei would be safe. Yusei was teleported back to the Divine Temple as the Planetary Gear stopped spinning. He got back on his feet, before he spotted Bruno's broken visor. He saw an image of Bruno in them, causing him to weep over his friend's death.

Yusei carried on to the main Planetary Gear, where he met up with everyone. He saw that Leo became the sixth Signer, but he was still feeling heartbroken because of Bruno's death. Akiza asked where Vizor was, and Yusei told them the truth about their friend Bruno and what happened between them.

Of course everyone was in disbelief at what they heard. Yusei told them that despite their battle, Bruno was really their friend and only battled him to show him a new power. Their resolve remained firm as they continued on to Z-one and finish this.

Team 5D's and Sherry drove up a long spiral stairway, filled with gears, where Crow spotted the old Ener-D reactor. They pressed on and found themselves in what appeared to be a junkyard, where they met Z-one. Sherry was correct when she told Yusei that he was the one he met in the other dimension.

Z-one revealed that he was behind everything, including Zero Reverse. He even revealed that he was the one that sent Paradox to destroy Duel Monsters. Enraged at everything he did, Yusei swore to stop the Divine Temple and Z-one. Z-one told Yusei that all he needed to do was defeat him in a Duel and the final gear would shut down.

Yusei was ready to Duel Z-one, but surprisingly Aporia came out of nowhere. He was damaged by his Duel against Leo, Luna and Jack, but was still alive. However, to everyone's surprise, he challenged Z-one. He learned something in his Duel against the three Signers, despite all his sufferings, he kept holding onto hope.

Everyone was surprised by Aporia's answer. Aporia explained that even though he was in despair, he believed there was still hope. He wanted to help his friend remember the hope he had for Yusei, once again surprising everyone. Aporia believed that Team 5D's could continue to evolve enough to save the future, and that was what he believed Z-one believed when he sent Bruno to Yusei and everyone, he entrusted his final hope to humanity's potential.

Aporia questioned his friend why he was trying to kill Yusei and everyone, which Z-one answered that he saw hope as nothing but an illusion. Aporia didn't believe him and believed that Z-one kept holding onto hope. He was damaged, but was still willing to Duel Z-one. Before his battle, he told Leo that he saw hope in him.

Leo's bond with Team 5D's was the hope he searched so long for, and now that he has hope, he would fight for it. Leo tried to stop Aporia from endangering himself, but Jack told him to let Aporia fight his friend. A device shot up from inside the scrap heap, causing Team 5D's and Sherry to be thrown back. The device separated into three components. Two of them floated next to Z-one as arms and the third floated just in front of him. The Duel Monsters tablets in the scrapyard flew towards the third device. The stone shattered from around them, making them large, but otherwise regular cards. The cards stack up in the device, ready for Z-one to use as his Deck. Aporia told Team 5D's to watch closely and see Z-one's strength.

Z-one was powerful, but Apoira continued to fight, keeping the hope that Leo gave him close to his heart. Things started to get bad when Z-one started summoning monsters called Timelords. However, Aporia continued to fight. He used a unique strategy to use a card called Afterglow.

He destroyed his own deck so that Afterglow could be his last card and use its effect to deal 4000 points of damage to Z-one, but Z-one stopped the strategy and defeated Aporia. Team 5D's rushed over to the defeated Aporia. He apologised for not being able to defeat Z-one, but Team 5D's reassured him that he gave them hope to defeat Z-one.

Their words gave Aporia hope. With the last of his strength, Aporia transferred his power over to Yusei's Duel Runner, granting it wings and the ability to fly. Aporia then died with hope for the future. Leo shed tears for Aporia, forgiving him for what he did to him in their Duel. Leo questioned Z-one why killed his friend, who replied that the 'Aporia' he Dueled was a copy and not the real thing.

Angered, Yusei challenged Z-one to a Duel, who accepted. Z-one caused the dome they were inside of to disappear. Up above them, they all saw New Domino City and realized that they were upside down and the Divine Temple had a separate source of gravity, holding them on. Z-one introduced himself to the people of New Domino City by having monitors show him to them.

Z-one explained to the people that New Domino will be destroyed by the Divine Temple soon and a new future shall be created. He advised the citizens to prepare themselves for the moment of their death. Z-one told Yusei that their battlefield will be the sky, telling him that Aporia gave his Duel Runner the ability to fly.

Team 5D's gave Yusei encouraging words, before something unbelievable happened. Jack, Crow, Akiza, Leo and Luna gave their dragons to Yusei, entrusting their hopes to him. Yusei accepted his friends' wishes and took their dragons, before he took flight on his Duel Runner and began his Duel against Z-one.

Z-one spoke to Yusei, saying that he was like Yusei's god. He changed Yusei's life by causing Zero Reverse. He said that all their accomplishments was to summon the Divine Temple, but Yusei's resolve remained firm. He swore to overcome Z-one, before their Turbo Duel began.

Z-one didn't waste time and summoned a Timelord straight away, but Yusei wouldn't back down. He Synchro Summoned Black-Winged Dragon, then Red Dragon Archfiend. Their Duel had the evacuating civilians stop evacuating, and they wouldn't move. Then, MC appeared and broadcasted the Duel for the civilians, allowing them to watch the Duel and evacuate.

The monsters Yusei used to summon Black-Winged Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend kept him from attacking and negated Red Dragon Archfiend's destruction effect. Z-one began to speak, saying that Yusei doesn't want to attack him. Everyone was confused by his words, before Z-one made his move.

Z-one revealed that Yusei wasn't gonna attack and wait for a chance to attack him directly, which Yusei revealed it was true. Z-one began shaving away at Yusei's Life Points slowly, but Yusei stayed strong. Yusei next Synchro Summoned Black Rose Dragon and using a combination of it and a trap called Synchro Barrier Force to damage Z-one by 1500 points.

Z-one was slammed into a building, but he came out unharmed. However his mask was damaged, before it crumbled away and showed his face to the world.

Z-one's face was…Yusei's face!

Z-one 'explained' that he was Yusei from the future, much to the disbelief of everyone. Z-one took his turn, summon three Timelords, restored his Life Points to 4000 and returned Yusei's three dragons to the Extra deck, leaving Yusei's field empty and damaged him by 1500 points. Z-one began to tell more of his back-story, on how he came to the past and how he's Yusei Fudo.

Z-one was both Yusei Fudo and not Yusei Fudo. Z-one was a scientist looking for a way to save the world from destruction. In order to stop the machine army, he had to make people behave and not wish destruction. However, he believed that he couldn't do it. He thought about Yusei, who was New Domino's savior, a legendary hero who never gave up despite what he faced.

He decided to become Yusei Fudo to save humanity.

Z-one did science to transform himself into Yusei and succeeded. He became Yusei Fudo. Everyone was in disbelief at what Z-one was revealing, Yusei especially. As Yusei Fudo, Z-one began to change things, saving people and fighting back with Shooting Star Dragon and Clear Mind. Z-one tried to spread the power he acquired to the people.

Eventually, his people remembered to help one another, understand one other and the machine army stopped attacking. Z-one began to feel hope. However, there wasn't enough time for other people to learn. Due to people's negativity, the Ener-D spun negativity towards destruction.

The Ener-D destroyed the machine army, the world and thousands of people. In the end, Z-one couldn't save even one person. He believed it wasn't possible to change people's hearts and he reached his current conclusion. For him to save humanity, he will destroy Ener-D.

Everyone in New Domino City was in disbelief at what they learned. Yusei, though shocked, continued to fight against impossible odds and save the future and the people of New Domino City. Yusei took his turn, but all he could do was set a face down. Z-one took his turn and replenished his hand, but that allowed Yusei to use the trap Tailsman of Reversal. Yusei's Trap allowed him to replenish his hand, giving him more of a fighting chance. Yusei used a combo that allowed him to Synchro Summon Ancient Fairy Dragon to his field in DEF Mode.

Z-one countered by summoning 5 Timelords, much to the disbelief of everyone. Z-one attacked with all five Timelords, one of them returned Ancient Fairy Dragon to the extra deck, but despite that, Yusei survived and summon Power Tool Dragon thanks to a monster called Synchro Keeper.

Despite surviving Z-one's assault, pieces from the Divine Temple began to rain on New Domino City, meaning there wasn't much time left. Yusei remained strong and kept holding onto hope, however Z-one made things difficult when he played a trap called Infinite Light, which kept his Timelords on the field.

More pieces of the Divine Temple began to fall; a few of them hit Yusei and forced him off his Duel Runner. Everyone gasped in fear for Yusei. Lazar, Elsworth and the MC arrived on a rooftop just in time to see Yusei falling. As Yusei fell, he wondered if there really was no way for him to save everyone. He closed his eyes and apologised. Over at the Old Ener-D, a light shot out from the generator, heading towards Yusei. The light hit Yusei and sent him somewhere. Yusei awoke to see his father Dr. Fudo before him.

Yusei asked if he lost, but Dr. Fudo told him that the Duel wasn't over yet. Yusei tried standing up, but said it was impossible; his body just wouldn't move. Dr. Fudo tried encouraging his son not to give up. Yusei had fought with all his might, but this time it was impossible and he could no longer fight.

Dr. Fudo suddenly slapped Yusei in the face and reminded him that he still had work to do. Like how the Planetary Gear linked gear to gear, Dr. Fudo told Yusei that he connects people's feelings and in the end, he will reach a new stage; that was his role. Yusei smiled at his father's words and called him strict. He stood up and thanked his father for bringing him to his senses. He vowed to return to his friends and fight without giving up. Dr. Fudo said "That's my son" with a smile. He advised him to believe in the future. He began to vanish, saying that this will be the last time he will be able to help his son. Yusei tried grabbing him, but Dr. Fudo disappeared and told his son that he will always be by his side.

Yusei returned to reality, where he was still falling. His Duel Runner flew towards him, allowing Yusei to hop back and flew up right before he made contact with the ground. Yusei thanked his father as he picked up his card from the Duel Runner's monitor. Tears run down the MC's eyes as he told New Domino City that Yusei had been resurrected. Everyone throughout the city started to celebrate his survival.

Yusei flew towards Z-one and told him that the fight was not over yet. He began his turn and summoned Power Tool Dragon's true form, Life Stream Dragon. Life Stream Dragon restored Yusei's Life to 2000, having been reduced to 750 earlier.

Z-one called Yusei's straggling pointless and that it was New Domino City's destiny to be destroyed. However, Yusei refused to believe that. In order to save the future, Yusei explained that everyone's hearts must go in the right direction and have a future which can be changed alongside Ener-D. Yusei told Z-one that with no present, the future cannot be saved and asked him if that was correct.

In order to save the world, Yusei vowed to find a new stage. He remembered what his father said to him about connecting people's hearts. Yusei thought of everyone depending on him and asked them to lend him their strength. He heard everyone's voices calling out to him, supporting him and giving him strength. He flew upwards towards the sky and realized that in order to pass his limits and advance to a new stage, his strength alone was not enough. He needed to connect Team 5D's bonds. He remembered Bruno's words that he can find his own Delta Accel Synchro. He found his answer as he flew above the Earth's surface.

Yusei activated "Speed Spell - Synchro Panic". Since he had more than seven Speed Counters, it allowed him to Special Summon as many Synchro Monsters as possible from his Extra Deck that were used in the Duel with their effects negated and ATK reduced to 0. He Summoned Ancient Fairy Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, Black-Winged Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend back to the field.

Using the effect of Life Stream Dragon, Yusei changed the Level of all his other Synchro Monsters to 1. Yusei called out to Jack, Crow, Akiza, Luna and Leo, telling them that in order to save the future, he will connect their bonds. Jack, Crow, Akiza, Leo and Luna all raised their arms as they lend Yusei their power. Their marks disappeared from their arms and relocated on Yusei's back, forming the full Crimson Dragon mark.

Yusei and his Duel Runner turned gold as Yusei finally entered his new stage, Over Top Clear Mind. The Crimson Dragon appeared alongside Yusei as he tuned Ancient Fairy Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, Black-Winged Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend to the Synchro Tuner Monster Life Stream Dragon.

Yusei Limit Over Accel Synchro Summoned his new monster, Shooting Quasar Dragon.

It was the most beautiful monster Yusei had ever seen in his life. He returned back to the Duel with his new monster. He told Z-one that this was Team 5D's final stage and their evolution's proof.

Z-one was in disbelief at seeing Shooting Quasar Dragon, having never heard of it from his time. With his new dragon by his side, Yusei began his counterattack. Shooting Quasar Dragon first destroyed four of the Timelords, before attacking Sandaion, destroying it and itself.

However, that allowed Yusei to summon Shooting Star Dragon and direct attack Z-one, reducing his life points to 700. Yusei ended his turn by placing a face down. Though Yusei's direct attack seemed to tick off Z-one as he summoned the most powerful Timelord.

Sephylon, the Ultimate Timelord.

Just as Yusei brought his ultimate monster out, so did Z-one. Sephylon brought out four more Timelords with all of them having 4000 ATK Points. Sephlyon's effect allowed it to power up by the Timelords' ATK Points, powering him up to 20000. Selhlyon attacked Shooting Star Dragon and destroyed him.

However, that wasn't the end of the Duel. Yusei activated a Trap called Converging Wishes, it negated the damage and allowed him to summon his ace monster, Stardust Dragon. Converging Wishes' second effect powered Stardust Dragon up by the ATK Points of the Synchro Monsters in Yusei's graveyard, powering the Synchro Monster all the way up to 23000, not to mention super sized him!

Converging Wishes' last effect allowed Yusei to return Ancient Fairy Dragon, Black-Winged Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, Life Stream Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend to his extra deck and in exchange, Stardust Dragon could battle Sephylon. Sephylon's last effect allowed Z-one to remove from play Timelords on his field to negate its destruction and battle damage, but it was pointless.

Stardust Dragon battled Sephylon five times with the fifth being the last one. As Yusei prepared for the final attack, he remembered all his friends, opponents, rivals, enemies, Bruno and even Jaden and Yugi, before he declared his final attack. During its final attack, beams of energy from all over the planet travel towards Stardust Dragon. Using that energy, Stardust Dragon launched a powerful Cosmic Flare at Sephylon, destroying it and many of Z-one's mechanical parts. Z-one was in disbelief that he lost as his Life Points dropped to 0.

Everyone in New Domino City cheered for their hero Yusei, who watched Z-one fall down the sky. Remembering what Bruno asked him, Yusei rushed over to help him. The Ener-D in the Divine Temple went out and it stopped moving downwards. However, the buildings on it started to break off and fall towards the city. Team 5D's and Sherry ran to their Duel Runners to try and get to safety, but the ground below them collapsed and they start to fall. However, the Crimson Dragon suddenly appeared and saved them.

Yusei landed his Duel Runner to where Z-one had crash landed and rushed over to his opponent, asking if he was okay. He tried to help Z-one, but he told Yusei that it was no use as the device that prolonged his life will soon shut down. He told Yusei that it was okay since his life was already at its limit. He told the truth that he wanted the future that Yusei was going to change, but didn't had the time to do that. Z-one's mouth started to bleed, as Yusei tried to tell him not to talk.

Z-one told Yusei that he was lonely for a long time, but by remembering the bonds that he had with his comrades; Paradox, Aporia and Antinomy, he tried to fight alone. He asked Yusei if the things he did were wrong. Yusei shook his head and told Z-one that all he was doing was trying to open up his own future and now, the warnings that he gave out has been inscribed in people's hearts and as long as they don't forget them, the future will change. In the final moment of his life, Z-one told Yusei that he was able to see him open a new future. He believed with all his heart that Yusei can lead the people to this future.

After feeling a tremor from the Divine Temple, Yusei knew what he had to do to save New Domino City and all his friends. Z-one asked Yusei if he was planning to die. In order to save his home, Yusei explained that he must attach an Ener-D rotating in a positive direction to the Divine Temple's Ener-D, even if it meant dying. It was his final role to the city. Z-one closed his eye as Yusei flew to the top of the Divine Temple, where he previously entered it.

Yusei knew if he did this, there was no coming back, but was fine with it as long as his friends were safe. Yusei flew through a chute and soon, the old Ener-D reactor was in sight. Suddenly, Z-one broke through a wall and joined him, much to Yusei's surprise.

Z-one explained to Yusei that inside his body, he was equipped with the same Ener-D Yusei had and will insert it into the negative rotating Ener-D himself, much to Yusei's surprise. He explained to Yusei that he had been entrusted with a new future and must live on. He grabbed Yusei with one of his large hands and threw him back up the chute, with Yusei calling out his name. Z-one entered the old Ener-D reactor and was enveloped in it, dying with hope for the future that Yusei could bring.

Everything has lead to here with Yusei flying as fast as he could with debris falling on him and a bright light on his tail. 'I won't let Z-one's sacrifice go to waste! I won't die here!' The 19-year-old thought to himself, determine to not let Z-one's sacrifice go to waste. Suddenly, a huge debris began to fall towards Yusei at a fast pace, getting him to look up in surprise.

He wouldn't be able to dodge in time, meaning this might be his end. However, suddenly the aura round Yusei's Duel Runner that allowed it to fly wrapped around Yusei and his Duel Runner, making him widen his eyes. The aura fully covered Yusei and his Duel Runner from sight, before it disappeared, leaving no trace of Yusei.

Yusei slowly opened his eyes, only to widen them in surprise at what he saw. Yusei was in somekind of white void like how he first met Z-one, only it was completely different. "W-Where am I?" Yusei questioned in surprise at seeing this mysterious void as his Duel Runner still had the aura that allowed it to fly.

Suddenly, a bright light appeared in front of Yusei, making him gasp in surprise. The light forced him to close his eyes, before it died down, allowing Yusei to open his eyes. To Yusei's surprise, flying in front of him was actually the Crimson Dragon, who was facing him. "The Crimson Dragon!?" Yusei called out in surprise to see the sacred flaming dragon.

'Yusei Fudo…' A male voice spoke Yusei's name, coming from the Crimson Dragon itself. 'You have done well, my chosen Signer'. The Crimson Dragon continued to speak, surprising Yusei even further. "You can talk?!" Yusei called out in surprise that the Crimson Dragon had the ability to speak the whole time.

The Crimson Dragon nodded to his Signer. 'I apologize for not communicating with you sooner. You've pleased me by defeating Z-one, saving your home and stopping the Divine Temple, but now I must ask much more of you'. The Crimson Dragon told Yusei, making him look a bit slightly curious on what the dragon meant.

"What do you mean?" Yusei asked the Crimson Dragon on what he meant. 'I will explain in a moment, but first an old friend of yours should be joining us by now'. The physical embodiment and cosmic manifestation of the mighty Dragon Star told his Signer as another bright light appeared next to Yusei, getting him to look in wonder at who the Crimson Dragon was calling.

The bright light died down and Yusei gasped in surprise to see that flying next to him was his ace monster, Stardust Dragon. "Stardust Dragon!" Yusei called out in surprise to see his favourite Synchro Monster.

Stardust Dragon looked surprised himself, before he turned to look at his Duelist, looking happy to see him. 'Yusei, I'm glad to see you unharmed'. A voice came from Stardust Dragon, surprising Yusei even more. "I…can hear your voice!?" The 19-year-old called out in surprise, with Stardust Dragon now looking surprised himself.

'You…can understand me now!?' The Synchro Dragon type monster asked in surprise that his Duelist can hear his voice. 'This space allows Yusei to both understand and communicate with us, Stardust'. The Crimson Dragon told his loyal follower, getting Stardust Dragon to finally notice the Crimson Dragon.

'My lord!' Stardust Dragon called out in surprise to see his master as he bowed his head a little, however the Crimson Dragon held up its right claw. 'There is no need to bow, old friend. Raise your head'. The Crimson Dragon told his follower, who slowly raised his head.

"Crimson Dragon, why have you brought us here?" Yusei questioned the embodiment of the Dragon Star, getting the Crimson Dragon to look back at him. 'I have called you and saved you from dying in the Divine Temple because I have need of you'. The Crimson Dragon told his Signer, much to his curiosity. "Have need of me? Do you mean there's another threat to New Domino City?" Yusei questioned, but the Crimson Dragon shook its head.

'No, New Domino City is safe now. This threat that I speak of is threatening a different world'. The Crimson Dragon revealed, making both Yusei and Stardust Dragon widen their eyes. "Another world!?" The 19-year-old questioned in disbelief that there was actually another world.

'Yes, a threat that could destroy that world. Yusei, what I'm asking you is to leave your world, friends and home behind to travel to this world to stop this threat'. The Crimson Dragon told his Signer, making Yusei and Stardust gasp in disbelief. "Hold on, you can't just expect me to leave my friends behind to travel to another world!" Yusei exclaimed, refusing to just up and leave especially if his friends think he's dead.

'The situation is dire Yusei, every second cannot be wasted. To understand this threat, you must see the past of this world'. The Crimson Dragon told his Signer, sounding a bit annoyed. Suddenly the entire area changed. The Crimson Dragon, Stardust Dragon and Yusei were floating above what appeared to be a futuristic city with trees and bushes.

Yusei and Stardust Dragon saw flying vehicles around the city and domed towns floating in the sky. Most of the buildings were round or oval shaped and coloured in different shades of grey, blue and purple. There were even birds coming out of nowhere like holograms.

Yusei and Stardust Dragon were amazed at the sight of this futuristic city. "Incredible, this place looks like the future that Aporia showed me". Yusei said in amazement, looking around the city. 'This used to be the United World'. The Crimson Dragon told the two, getting Stardust Dragon to notice something about what he said.

'Used to?' Stardust questioned his lord, getting Yusei to finally notice how the Crimson Dragon described it. 'In this world, technology was highly advanced and the people of this world lived in peace. Like your world, Duel Monsters existed here with four different Summoning methods. Ritual, Fusion, Synchro and Xyz'. The Crimson Dragon began to explain to his Signer and loyal follower, getting Yusei and Stardust to widen their eyes at the last one mentioned.

"Xyz?" The Signer questioned, having no idea what Xyz Summoning was. 'They are a new brand of monsters called Xyz Monsters. Like Fusion and Synchro, they are special kinds of monsters that go to the Extra Deck in a Duel. In a Duel unlike Fusion and Synchro Monsters, these creatures don't posses Levels, but what's known as Ranks instead. The monsters used to Summon them aren't sent to the graveyard, but become what's known as Overlay Units, which allow Xyz Monsters to use their abilities'. The Crimson Dragon explained to both Yusei and Stardust Dragon, telling them about Xyz Monsters and how different they were compared to Fusion and Synchro Monsters.

Both Signer and dragon were amazed at what they've learned about Xyz Monsters. "Incredible. Monsters like those exist? Unbelievable". Yusei said in awe after hearing about the Xyz Monsters and what they can do. 'There is more to Xyz Monsters, but now isn't the time'. The Crimson Dragon stated as the scenery around them changed. They appeared to be in a lab of some sort, where they saw a man there.

'This man is called Leo Akaba, he is a citizen of this world, the one responsible for creating what ended this world'. The Crimson Dragon told his Signer and follower, making them widen their eyes even more. 'Ended the world?! How is that possible my lord?' Stardust questioned the Crimson Dragon, who faced his follower.

'All will be revealed in time. In this world, they created what's known as the Arc System. Leo Akaba was a scientist in this world, searching for a way to advance the Arc System, and he found his answer in Duel Monsters'. The Crimson Dragon explained, getting Yusei more curious by the second.

They all watched as Leo attached wires to an activated Duel Disk, a more advanced one than Yusei's, and summoned Hazy Flame Sphynx. 'He discovered that Duel Monsters had spirits as humans did, and that was where he found his solution. The Arc System granted Duel Monsters real bodies in that world, as if they were in the Spirit World'. The embodiment of the Dragon Star continued, increasing the disbelief of Yusei and Stardust.

"That's…incredible…" Yusei said in awe at Leo's achievement, something he never thought possible. 'Indeed. However, that world had no knowledge of Duel Spirits, so he dismissed his discovery. And like that, a new era of Dueling began'. The Crimson Dragon continued as the scenery around them changed to a stadium.

Yusei and Stardust Dragon watched in awe as Duelists Dueled alongside their monsters, who were granted real life bodies just as the Crimson Dragon said. 'Unbelievable, something like this existed'. Stardust Dragon said in disbelief at what he was seeing. 'As the creator of this new era of Dueling, Leo was worshipped by the people of the United World. However, one day that all changed'. The Crimson Dragon said as the scenery changed in a way.

They were still in a stadium, but there was a Duel happening. Yusei and Stardust Dragon watched as a red dragon smack Ignition Beast Volcannon into his Duelist. However, one of the spikes of the monster had stabbed the Duelist, making Yusei and Stardust Dragon gasp in horror.

The stadium was silent as the audience was in shock, before it was broken. Slowly, the crowd applauded, not caring about the injured Duelist. Yusei and Stardust were disgusted at this. "They're cheering? Why on earth are these people cheering for something like this!? A person was just hurt and they don't care!?" Yusei questioned in anger and disgust at what he was seeing.

'An abomination like this shouldn't be applauded for, it should be disapproved!' The Dragon type Synchro Monster growled in rage at seeing these humans approve of something like this. 'That's not all. Look at the injured Duelist's opponent'. The Crimson Dragon told the disgusted Signer and Synchro Monster, who looked at the unharmed Duelist.

It was a young human male around Yusei's age. He had yellow eyes, silver hair with light green highlights wore a blue and gray jacket, thick red-brownish gloves, black pants with brown chaps, faded gold knee pads, dark-blue suspenders with faded gold buckles hanging from a red-brownish belt with two large holsters, a large faded gold buckle, and brown shoes with dark-blue outlines and straps.

'This young man's name was Z-arc, a young talented Duelist gifted with the ability to communicate with Duel Spirits. At first he wanted to bring joy to people through Dueling. However, after this Duel, the new 'era' became a bloodbath'. The Crimson Dragon told Yusei and Stardust Dragon as the scenery continued to change, showing more Duels where more people were harmed.

Yusei and Stardust became more disgusted and enraged as they continued to watch these blood baths happen. Soon the scenery stopped changing; though they were still in the stadium. Z-arc was standing in the middle of the stadium with thousands of Duelists lying injured around him. However, the crowd didn't care about them, demanding more violent Duels.

"Who wants to battle!? There must be someone who'll challenge me, or are you all too frighten to lose!? Come on, challenge me! Someone step up and challenge me!" Z-arc called out to the thousands of people watching him. 'He defeated every challenger, took every title and soon, he stood at the top of the Dueling world. If only someone like you existed in that world, Yusei'. The Crimson Dragon told his Signer, getting the 19-year-old to look at him.

"What happened?" Yusei questioned with the deepest frown on his face. 'Continue watching'. The dragon replied to the Signer, who went back to watching Z-arc. The people kept demanding more violent Duels, making Z-arc let out an evil smirk on his face as he brought out four cards in his right hand.

"Yes! Yesss! Duel me, challenge me, let me crush you! If no one will challenge me, then I will challenge you! I challenge the whole world, I will destroy you all!" Z-arc exclaimed as he held up his left arm as his Duel Disk activated. "Yes, yes I will destroy you all! My four dragons thirst for a fight!" Z-arc called out as he placed his four cards on his Duel Disk. Four dragons covered in shadows appeared above Z-arc in a circle formation.

Then, chaos happened.

The four dragons began unleashing destruction on the people of the United World, making both Yusei and Stardust Dragon gasp in disbelief. True they disapproved of these people enjoying violent Duels, but they never wanted this. They watched in stunned silence as everyone evacuated in hopes to avoid this bloodbath.

'People's greed for more violent battles corrupted such a pure Duelist, creating a demon who began a path of destruction'. The Crimson Dragon said as Yusei looked at the evacuating people, who were terrified. Yusei felt pity towards them at how their lives were changed because of their greed.

Z-arc's dragons attacked innocent people, either injuring or killing them. 'The humans' greed angered Z-arc's dragons so much that they wished to bring destruction upon them. Z-arc didn't control them, they obeyed him willingly'. The Crimson Dragon told Yusei and Stardust, making the Dragon-Type Synchro Monster frown. 'These four younglings were subjected to these humans' greed and were corrupted by it. Though I understand their anger, they shouldn't have resorted to this'. Stardust Dragon said in sadness for the four dragons of Z-arc, feeling pity for them for what they went through.

The three continued to watch as the humans of the United World tried to fight against Z-arc's dragons with military weapons, but couldn't even faze them because of the Arc System. 'Given real bodies, Z-arc's dragons were able to fight against humanity without worry, who couldn't do anything to stop them'. The Crimson Dragon explained as the four dragons returned to the stadium to their Duelist. The four flew above Z-arc and howled into the air in unsatisfaction.

"Yes, I agree. We do need a bigger challenge. Let us become one and challenge the whole universe! Now let us merge!" Zarc called out with a crazy grin on his face as he held up a card, making Yusei widen his eyes at one of the words he used. 'Merge!? He can't possible mean merge with his dragons!' The Shooting Star of Satellite thought to himself in disbelief.

"Astrograph Sorcerer, master of time and space!" Z-arc called out as a dark blue Spellcaster monster appeared and created a column of light. "I call on you to use your mystical powers to reshape us into a single, unstoppable force! It is time, to become one!" Z-arc called out as the Spellcaster casted a huge cluster of light above and drew in all the dragons and Z-arc himself, much to Yusei and Stardust's shock.

The light changed to a great darkness accompanied by red lightning. From inside the darkness, an earth shattering roar was heard as a shape could be seen in the darkness. The darkness was then caste aside to reveal a horrible sight. A massive black dragon with green strips throughout its body appeared. Everything about the dragons screamed out 'death', as if it was the embodiment of death.

Yusei and Stardust Dragon stared at the black dragon in total disbelief. That dragon reminded them of the King of the Nether World, only a lot worse. 'What is that monstrosity!?' Stardust Dragon called out in disbelief at what he was seeing. 'That is the merged form of Odd-Eyes Dragon, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and Z-arc, Supreme King Z-ARC'. The Crimson Dragon revealed as Yusei and Stardust continued to stare at Supreme King Z-arc in disbelief.

They watched as Supreme King Z-arc continued to rain destruction down on the United World. The buildings were burning in flames as Z-arc continued laughing. "Hahaha, what's wrong humans? I thought you wanted a more brutal Duel, hahaha!" Z-arc laughed out as the head of the dragon fired a beam, destroying more of the United World.

"STOP IT!" Yusei yelled out at the Supreme Dragon Z-ARC, wanting to stop this carnage. 'It's no use, Yusei. All of this has already happened, there's nothing you can do'. The Crimson Dragon told his Signer, looking just as disgusted as Yusei and Stardust Dragon. Yusei gritted his teeth as he watched millions of people run for their lives.

Then, aboard vehicles were Duelists with activated Duel Disks, willing to fight Supreme King Z-arc. 'Brave souls were willing to battle Z-arc to protect their world. However, they were all defeated by the Supreme King'. The Crimson Dragon said as Z-arc easily defeated the Duelist who challenged him. 'There must be a way to stop this abomination!' Stardust Dragon roared out in defiance, believing that there was a way to defeat the Supreme King Z-ARC.

'There was'. The Crimson Dragon answered, getting Yusei and Stardust Dragon to turn their heads so fast towards the dragon god. "What was it?" Yusei asked, wanting to know what could stop this nightmare. 'Leo Akaba felt responsible for being the cause of what created the Supreme King Z-arc. He travelled around the world and following the theory of Duel Monsters with souls while researching different natural environments, Leo Akaba was able to create four cards from natural energy that he believed would be able to stop the monster he created'. The Crimson Dragon revealed to Yusei and Stardust, surprising them at his answer.

'Four cards made of natural energy?' Yusei thought to himself, wondering just what Leo created. 'Through analysing and studying the desire of plants that were destroyed, but sprouted with the seasons and animals that endured winter to spring, he was able to realise his ambition. The strong desire to live that has manifested in the United World for millennia. This allowed Leo Akaba to create four cards that would bring hope to the world and defeat Supreme King Z-ARC. The Spell cards, En Moon, En Winds, En Birds and En Flowers'. The Crimson Dragon continued, making Yusei and Stardust Dragon gasp as they realised something about the four spell cards.

'Moon, Winds, Birds and Flowers? Could it perhaps be…?' Stardust Dragon said in disbelief, but couldn't finish his sentence. The Crimson Dragon nodded as the scenery changed to outside a ruined building, where they saw through a broken wall, Leo Akaba opening a briefcase, showing four glowing cards.

Leo looked pleased as he reached out to grab the cards, when suddenly someone snatched them. Yusei and Stardust's eyes widened in surprise as the thief ran away with Leo chasing after. "Someone stole the cards!?" Yusei exclaimed in surprise, but the Crimson Dragon shook his head.

'No, the cards weren't stolen. They were taken by Leo Akaba's daughter, Ray Akaba'. The Crimson Dragon revealed, further surprising both Signer and Dragon. The scenery changed to a ruin street with Leo chasing after his daughter. "Dad, I'm going to stop Z-arc, not you. The people need you to rebuild the city". Ray told her father as she turned to face Leo, allowing both Yusei and Stardust to see her for the first time.

Ray looked to be around Yusei's age. She had gray eyes, long, maroon and dark red hair held by hair clips. She appeared to be wearing a purple and white suit like a riding suit, a thigh strap and high heel shoes. What drew Yusei's attention was her eyes, she had the look of someone not just ready to save the world, but the eyes of someone who lost a person they loved.

"Ray, don't be silly. I created Z-arc, so I, not you, will defeat him. Now give those cards back. I will not let you risk your life. I don't want to lose you Ray". Leo pleaded to his daughter, hopping she'll give the cards back. "And I don't want to lose you either, dad!" Ray replied as she slotted a card into her Duel Disk.

A card appeared, before a bright light appeared. The light pulled in two rubbles from separate buildings, blocking Leo from Ray. Seeing the path blocked, Ray continued on to face Z-arc. 'That girl Ray… she didn't just steal the cards to save the world, right?" Yusei questioned the Crimson Dragon, who didn't look surprised at his question.

'I knew you'd figure it out'. The Crimson Dragon said, making Yusei frown at him. "The look in her eye wasn't just the look of someone ready to die to protect the world. It was the look of someone who had lost a love one. Why?" Yusei questioned, wanting to know why Ray had that look in her eye.

'It is simple; Z-arc was the man Ray loved'. The Crimson Dragon answered, surprising both Yusei and Stardust. 'She loved him?!' Stardust questioned in surprise at what his lord has revealed. 'Yes. She and Z-arc had known each other for years. They had met because of Dueling. She was a pro Duelist and met Z-arc in a Duel one day. She was quite smitten with him, and Z-arc felt the same with her. They quickly became friends, then lovers, without Leo ever knowing of this. However when this carnage started, she was forced to end her relationship with him'. The Crimson Dragon explained to the Signer and dragon, getting both Yusei and Stardust to frown in sadness for Ray and Z-arc.

The scenery changed again, this time revealing Ray standing on one of the floating islands with a look of determination on her face as she faced off against the Surpeme King Z-ARC. Yusei, Stardust Dragon and the Crimson Dragon watched her as she activated the four En cards, creating a bright light.

All around the destroyed cities, flowers bloomed instantly, before somekind of power was transferred over to the four cards. Yusei watched in awe, before he noticed Leo running to Ray, trying to stop her. "Ray no! Don't do this!" Leo called out to his daughter as he tried to run over to her; however somekind of force field kept him from getting to his daughter.

"Ray, no". Leo said in horror as he could do nothing, but watch. The energy from the four cards transferred over to Ray. "Those cards contain all the forces of nature. Your body can't withstand all that energy. Stop it Ray, please! You aren't going to survive!" Leo called out to his daughter in hopes she'll stop, but she kept going.

Then, four bracelets appeared on Ray's right arm that she was holding up, surprising Yusei even more because he wasn't expecting this. "Bracelets!" The 19-year-old called out in surprise as the bracelets on Ray's arm unleashed powerful glows from them, like that of a rainbow. The glows affected the Supreme King Z-ARC as the giant dragon howled in pain.

Yusei, Stardust and the Crimson Dragon saw the four shadow covered dragons briefly for a few moments as they looked to be being pulled apart from each other. 'Those younglings are being pulled apart'. Stardust pointed out as he could feel the four dragons separating. "Stop it! Stop it now! Or you will suffer the consequences!" Z-arc shouted out as Yusei could see a part of the giant dragon that looked human and saw Z-arc's yellow eyes.

Ray kept her determined face, willing to do what needs to be done. A bright light appeared around the dragon as the four dragons were separated from it. Then to Yusei and Stardust's shock, Ray glowed as well as she split into 4 pieces, each a different color before a bright light appeared all over the planet.

Yusei and Stardust were forced to shut their eyes from the glow. The glow died down, allowing Yusei and Stardust to open their eyes as they saw that they were back in the void they were in before the Crimson Dragon showed them the Original World. The Crimson Dragon was still in front of the two.

"Unbelievable... How can something like this happen?!" Yusei questioned as he looked down in disbelief at what he's witnessed. 'Humans' greed can change people, for the worse'. The Crimson Dragon told his Signer, who gritted his teeth in frustration. 'At least the Supreme King Z-ARC was stopped'. Stardust commented, thinking that the abomination that killed so many people was gone.

'You're wrong, Stardust'. The Crimson Dragon told his loyal follower, getting Yusei and Stardust's attention immediately. 'Z-arc wasn't defeated, only temporarily stopped. The En cards split Z-arc, Ray and the United World into four pieces'. The embodiment of the Dragon Star continued, making both Signer and dragon gasp in disbelief.

'Split into four pieces!?' Stardust roared in surprise, having never thought the En cards would split the world, the destroyer and savior into four. 'Indeed. The United World split into four dimensions, all with a different summoning method. The Fusion Dimension, the dimension of Fusion Monsters. The Synchro Dimension, the dimension of Synchro Monsters. The Xyz Dimension, the dimension of Xyz Monsters'. The Crimson Dragon began to explain to Yusei and Stardust as three sphere like planets appeared around them.

"And the fourth world? What about that one?" Yusei questioned about the fourth piece, wanting to know about the last world. 'The fourth world is called the Standard Dimension. It actually doesn't have its own summoning method; instead it has Fusion, Synchro and Xyz'. The Crimson Dragon answered, surprising his Signer and loyal follower again.

"How is that possible? Three out of the four dimensions have their own Summoning method, so how is it that Standard has all the Summoning methods?" Yusei questioned, wondering how Standard has Fusion, Synchro and Xyz Summoning. 'I regret to tell that I cannot answer, unfortunately. There are more pressing matters you need to know. Like the United World, Ray and Z-arc was split into four pieces'. The Crimson Dragon told Yusei and Stardust, getting them to widen their eyes.

Appearing in front of one of the worlds was a boy and a girl, with the girl having Ray's face and the boy having Z-arc's face. The girl had indigo hair tied into a ponytail with a large yellow ribbon, and green eyes. Her hair also features two light blue bangs that fall to either side of her face. She wore a red jacket with a yellow stripe and a green-and-yellow star emblem on each sleeve, which was worn over a black shirt with a purple-brown collar. She also wearied a red skirt held up by a brown belt with a silver buckle and ring connecting to two straps going over her torso, while her thighs were covered by biker shorts and finally brown boots. What's more, one of the bracelets that Ray had was around her right wrist, the one with the blue gem.

The boy had very short, thick, pink eyebrows and purple eyes. His hair was two-toned, in his case being uniformly violet with pink underneath. His outfit appeared to be an officer's uniform of sorts, consisting of a purple and light blue waistcoat, pink cravat, a two-part cape of red and purple, a purple abbreviated coat with thick cuffs and gold shoulder bands with an amber-colored setting, fastened at the collar bone, and light blue pants tucked into silver-tinted leather boots.

'These are Ray and Z-arc's fusion pieces, Yuri and Celina, the pieces of the Fusion Dimension'. The Crimson Dragon told Yusei and Stardust Dragon, who were staring at the two in disbelief at how their faces strongly resembled Z-arc and Ray. 'Next is the Synchro versions of Ray and Z-arc'. The Crimson Dragon said as two people with identical faces to Ray and Z-arc appeared in front of the second world.

The female had orange eyes, shoulder-length aqua-green colored hair with a lock of hair sticking up over the head. her hair also had two light green side tails. She had fair skin. She had a pair of blue studded earrings and a black choker with a blue jewel. The girl's outfit consisted of a blue and white jacket with pink pads on the shoulders and elbows, pink shorts, and white and pink boots that reach up to her thighs with pink kneepads. Like Celina, she had one of Ray's bracelets, the one with a green gem.

The boy had dual-colored girl, with yellow bangs swept to the right and blue in the back. He had greenish-blue eyes. He wearied a white jacket with red borders and yellow stripes on the sleeves, along with a white jumpsuit that had red, blue, and yellow stripes that meet in the center in a chevron pattern, white gloves, shoulder, elbow and knee pads, and white, red, and gray boots.

'These are Ray and Z-arc's Synchro pieces, Rin and Yugo, the Synchro pieces of the two'. The Crimson Dragon revealed to the Signer and Dragon, who were staring at the two Synchro pieces more than the Fusion pieces. Yusei looked at Rin and was reminded of Leo and Luna because of her hair. The 19-year-old then looked at Yugo and couldn't help the sadness he felt as the blond and blue haired teen reminded him of Bruno.

'We've reached the pieces of Xyz now'. The Crimson Dragon continued as two more people appeared in front of the third world, representing the Xyz Dimension.

The girl had pink eyes, long dark purple hair, which extended past her lower back even when tied up in a bow-shaped style and had shorter, lilac side tails. She secured her hair with a wing-shaped barrette and donned large, feather earrings. She wore a cream vest with an under dress that split into three, worn out pants, brown boots, two brown belts, and a red sash on her hip. Like her counterparts, she had one of Ray's bracelets, the one with the yellow, diamond-shaped jewel.

The boy had duel-colored hair, black in the back with light purple in the front. He wore a punk-style outfit, with a dull green formal shirt and dark blue tie, as well as a black cape-like garment with ripped sleeves and edges, plus dark blue pants and black boot-like shoes, plus a choker and wristbands.

'These are Ray and Z-arc's Xyz pieces, Lulu and Yuto, the Xyz pieces'. The Crimson Dragon revealed as Yusei and Stardust looked at the Xyz pieces, noticing that compared to their counterparts, their clothes seemed wracked as if they've gone through a war zone.

'At long last, the Standard pieces of Ray and Z-arc'. The Crimson Dragon continued as the last pair appeared in front of the world of the Standard Dimension. The girl had blue eyes and dark pink midback-length hair, which she wore, tied up in pigtails, clipped down by blue, spherical hair clips. Her hair also featured two lighter pink bangs that fall to the side of her face.

She wore a sleeveless light-blue and white shirt with a green musical note on the right collar, along with a pink tie. She also had a maroon skirt, dark stockings, and pink sneakers. Like her counterparts, she had Ray's last bracelet, the one with two pink stones.

The boy had crimson eyes, and dual-colored green and crimson hair of average length sticking out in downwards pointing spikes all around his head with the exception of one short upwards pointing spike of green hair. He had a buckled choker and a pair of golden goggles with orange lenses on his forehead, with a blue star obscuring the right lens.

The teen was wearing a simple orange t-shirt with a thick, silver-buckled brown belt over it, green pants with what appeared to be "Deck pockets" on each leg, and magenta shoes, as well as crimson wristbands. He wearied a gold and red lined white jacket over his shoulders like a cape. What really drew Yusei's attention was the pendant around the boy's neck because unlike his counterparts, this crimson eyed boy had something the others didn't.

'These are the Standard and original pieces of Ray and Z-arc, Zuzu Boyle and Yuya Sakaki'. The Crimson Dragon revealed the last two pieces' names, getting Yusei to notice another difference about these two compared to the others. "They have last names; does that mean they have families?" Yusei questioned the Crimson Dragon, who nodded to him.

'You could say that'. The embodiment of the Dragon Star replied to the Signer, getting him curious on why he said it like that. 'My lord, you said you needed Yusei's aid, yes? So far I don't know why though. These four dimensions seem to be living in peace, so why do you need Yusei?' Stardust Dragon said to his lord, wondering why his lord needs Yusei's aid.

The Crimson Dragon however, shook his head at Stardust's question. 'No, these dimensions are not at peace'. The Crimson Dragon answered, getting Yusei and Stardust to frown a bit. "They aren't?" Yusei questioned with a frown on his face, getting the Crimson Dragon to look at him.

'Despite the creation of the Four Dimensions, Leo Akaba still lives. He has made it his goal to return the four dimensions back into one and have his daughter back. To do this, he has travelled to the Fusion Dimension and created an army he calls Duel Academy'. The Crimson Dragon explained, making Yusei widen his eyes at the word 'Duel Academy', remembering Jaden mentioning it and it being the name of Akiza, Leo and Luna's school.

'His pursuit to retrieve his daughter has made him do irredeemable things. Watch and you'll see'. The Crimson Dragon told Yusei and Stardust as the pieces of Ray and Z-arc disappeared as the scenery around them changed. They were now above a city filled with people and a tower with what appeared to be a heart at the top.

'What is this place?' Stardust questioned as he looked at the park, where countless humans were engaging each other in Duels with happy faces. 'This is Heartland City of the Xyz Dimension. It is here where Leo's cruelty was shown'. The Crimson Dragon answered with a look on anger on his face.

Yusei and Stardust watched as everything seemed normal with everyone enjoying their peaceful lives. Suddenly a bright flash appeared to reveal several Duelists in different coloured uniforms of red, yellow and black. Then out of nowhere…they attacked Heartland. The Duelists activated their Duel Disks, summoned monsters that looked like Ancient Gear monsters and lay siege to Heartland City.

The innocent people of Heartland tried to run away to safety, however dark purple beams shot out of the Duelists' Duel Disks and connected with several people. The people were covered in purple lights, before they disappeared with a card replacing where they were. The cards floated down to the ground with the surface showing the people of Heartland, only with terrified looks on their faces. The Duelists laughed at this, seeming like there was nothing wrong with what they did.

Yusei and Stardust had looks of pure horror on their faces with their mouths open. They couldn't believe what they were seeing right now. "W-WHAT IS THIS INSANITY!" Yusei yelled out in rage at what he was seeing, glaring at the laughing Duelists. 'It is exactly what you just called it, insanity. Leo Akaba will use the life force of the civilians of the Four Dimension to revive his daughter, and to do that, he seals people into cards. His soldiers consider this a game'. The Crimson Dragon answered his Signer, looking just as enraged as he is.

'Leo Akaba, how could he, who was willing to give up his life to save the world, become a madman!?' Stardust questioned in rage at how Leo could commit such insanity. 'He does not consider the four dimensions, its people or the pieces of Ray and Z-arc to be real. To him, they are not real, and because of that, he cares not for their lives'. The Crimson Dragon told his loyal follower, who roared out in rage.

'He's infiltrated both the Xyz and Synchro Dimension, kidnapped Lulu and Rin from their homes and holds them at Duel Academy. With them and Celina, he has three pieces and only needs Zuzu to have all four. However because of his actions, Z-arc's revival has slowly begun'. The Crimson Dragon told Yusei and Stardust, getting them to snap towards him.

'Z-arc's dragons call out to each other. Because of that, Yuri, Yuto and Yugo have made contact. It won't be long until they make contact with Yuya Sakaki as well. If all four of them Duel, they will merge into Z-arc once more and his reign of destruction shall begin again. If that happens, all hope is lost for the Four Dimensions'. The Crimson Dragon finished as the scenery changed back to the void that they were previously in.

'Now you know what's at stake and how many lives are at stake. Yusei, you must travel to the world of Four Dimensions, stop Leo and Z-arc's revival and keep Ray's pieces safe'. The Crimson Dragon said to Yusei, who was silent as he was looking down at his Duel Runner with gritted teeth, feeling deep unyielding rage for what Leo has done.

'My lord, just how does Leo intend to bring his daughter back?' Stardust asked his lord, wanting to know how the mad scientist will bring Ray back. 'He has a device called the ARC-V Reactor, which he thinks will 'merge' Ray's pieces back into her, bringing an end to the lives of Celina, Rin, Lulu and Zuzu'. The Crimson Dragon answered his loyal follower, making both the Synchro Monster and 19-year-old man widen their eyes.

"It isn't enough to turn people to cards, but to even go as far to kill four innocent girls! Even if it's to bring his daughter back, that's unforgivable!" Yusei yelled out in rage at how far Leo was willing to go. 'Yes, no cause that requires sacrificing innocent peoples' lives should be unacceptable and must be stopped. Yusei, I know what I'm asking of you is personal, but Leo Akaba needs to be stop'. The Crimson Dragon told his Signer, knowing how personal if was to ask Yusei to leave his world behind.

Yusei was silent for a good minute, before he raised his head and gave one of his famous glares at the Crimson Dragon. "A man, who takes peoples' lives, turns them into cards, kidnaps people from their own homes and thinks that he has any right to do it needs- no, must be stopped! I won't walk away when so many people are suffering because of one man's selfish wish! Crimson Dragon, I will stop both Leo and Z-arc!" Yusei swore to the embodiment of the Dragon Star, swearing an oath to stop this nightmare.

The Crimson Dragon looked pleased by Yusei's answer. 'Thank you Yusei'. The Crimson Dragon thanked his Signer for accepting his request. "You're welcome, so what do I need to do?" Yusei replied to the Crimson Dragon, wanting to know what he needs to do to stop Leo. 'That is up to you'. The Crimson Dragon answered, making Yusei raise an eyebrow at him.

"What do you mean it's my choice?" The 19-year-old man questioned, wanting to know what the Crimson Dragon meant by that. 'Yusei, I will give you four choices. The first: I can teleport you to the Standard Dimension to protect the Standard piece. The second option: I can take you to the Xyz Dimension to help a force known as the Resistance to fight against Duel Academy. The third option: You can go to the Synchro Dimension to create your own force to fight Leo. And the final option: You can go to the Fusion Dimension to start a rebellion to defeat Leo. The choice is yours'. The Crimson Dragon explained to Yusei, making him widen his eyes in surprise at how the choice was his.

Yusei closed his eyes as he thought on the best option to stop Leo Akaba and Z-arc's revival, however his mind kept going back to Ray's Synchro and Xyz piece being held captive at Duel Academy. As much as Yusei tried to think of anything else, he kept thinking about how Lulu and Rin were waiting for someone to rescue them. He made his decision.

Yusei opened his eyes, which were full of determination, and looked at the Crimson Dragon. "I choose to go to the Fusion Dimension to save Lulu and Rin from Leo Akaba! I'm gonna save them from that prison!" Yusei declared out loud, his resolve to save Ray's Synchro and Xyz pieces strong.

Stardust smiled at his master's words, while the Crimson Dragon was silent for a few moments before he chuckled. 'I should have known you'd make your own choice. Very well, I will send you to the Fusion Dimension. But before that, it is time you two are rewarded'. The Crimson Dragon said to both Yusei and Stardust, getting them a bit curious.

'Rewarded? Reward us for what, my lord?' Stardust Dragon questioned his lord, wondering what he meant by rewarded. 'You are being rewarded for stopping the Divine Temple and saving New Domino City. Of course. Yusei, you will be rewarded first'. The Crimson Dragon said as the aura around Yusei's Duel Runner became more intense and powerful, surprising the Signer.

'I've added a bit of my power to your Duel Runner as Aporia did. Now your Duel Runner has the power of flight permanently. It will aid you in your battle', The Crimson Dragon revealed as a crimson aura appeared around both Yusei's Duel Runner and Duel Disk. Yusei's Duel Disk then underwent a transformation.

It looked similar to how it was before, but now more advanced, only the blade part of it wasn't there. It reminded Yusei about the Duel Disks apart of the world of the Four Dimensions. 'I've installed your Duel Runner and Duel Disk with the Arc System, not to mention gave them an upgrade'. The Crimson Dragon revealed what happened to Yusei's Duel Disk and Duel Runner.

'Now for something I believe you'll like'. The embodiment of the Dragon Star continued as a bright light appeared around Yusei's deck, making him widen his eyes. The glow quickly disappeared as Yusei brought his deck out of the wrist dealer and looked through his cards, before he widened his eyes at something unexpected.

There were new cards in his deck that he's never seen before.

There were new Junk cards, new monsters, Synchron cards, Synchro Spell and Traps and even new Synchro Monsters. 'I've acquired cards from the world of the Four Dimension for you to add in your deck. I trust you'll use them to their full potential as you have before'. The Crimson Dragon told his Signer, pleased with the amazed look on Yusei's face.

A flash appeared on Yusei's Duel Runner where his Duel Disk was attached, showing a briefcase. 'I even acquired more cards to aid any allies you make in your battle against Duel Academy. Give these only to the ones you trust most'. The embodiment of the Crimson Dragon added as Yusei looked amazed at how his new cards worked well with his Dueling style.

"This is amazing, thank you". Yusei thanked the Crimson Dragon, really grateful to the Embodiment of the Dragon Star. 'Your thanks is unnecessary, it is time for your last gift'. The Crimson Dragon replied to Yusei as a crimson aura appeared around the 19-year-old's body, before disappearing. Yusei looked at his arms as he couldn't feel any different.

'What I've given you is the gift to communicate with Duel Spirits, like your fellow Signer Luna'. The Crimson Dragon revealed to Yusei, much to his surprise. 'Then that means…' Stardust said in disbelief as the Crimson Dragon faced his loyal follower and nodded. 'Yes old friend, now you and Yusei can always communicate now'. The Crimson Dragon said to his loyal follower, much to his joy.

'My lord, thank you'. Stardust thanked the Crimson Dragon as he bowed his head in gratitude. 'Raise your head Stardust, it is time you are reward'. The Crimson Dragon told his loyal follower as Stardust raised his head to look at his lord. Suddenly, crimson flames appeared around Stardust, surprising the Synchro Monster as he could feel a new power inside of him, waiting to be unleashed.

The crimson flames disappeared with Stardust looking down at his claws in awe. 'I've granted you a bit of my power, allowing you new forms to unlock. Treat this gift well Stardust'. The Crimson Dragon told his loyal follower, who bowed his head in gratitude.

'That is all I can do to help you in your battle. Whenever you need my aid, call me through your mark. We shall meet again Stardust, Yusei Fudo'. The Crimson Dragon bid farewell as he turned around to leave. "Crimson Dragon, wait!" Yusei called out to the Crimson Dragon, stopping the embodiment of the Dragon Star.

Yusei took six cards out of his deck and held them up, revealing them to be Red Dragon Archfiend, Black-Winged Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, Ancient Fairy Dragon, Life Stream Dragon and Power Tool Dragon. "Can you return these to my friends?" Yusei requested, wanting the Signer Dragons to return to their owners.

'Of course'. The Crimson Dragon replied as a crimson light appeared around the cards, before it died down to reveal that the cards were gone. 'Now Yusei, Stardust Dragon, your new adventure begins!' The Crimson Dragon roared out as a bright light appeared around both Signer and dragon. The bright light lasted for 5 seconds, before it cleared to reveal Yusei and Stardust gone.

And just like that, the future heroes of the world of the Four Dimensions set off on their new journey.
