It was another day in the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario, Luigi, and Violet were driving Mario's kart to Toad Town. They had been invited by Princess Peach to join the Origami Festival.

Mario told them, "I can't wait to start the Origami Festival."

Luigi added, "Yeah, Peach said that it is supposed to be a lot of fun."

Violet looked ahead, "I think I can see Toad Town from here."

As they entered Toad Town, they saw that the Toads had decorated everything in origami.

Mario replied, "Wow, it's beautiful!"

Luigi turned to Violet, "Not as beautiful as you."

To that, Violet blushed. "That's sweet of you, Luigi."

The red clad plumber told them, "We are finally here!"

The three of them looked around, seeing that there wasn't a Toad in sight.

The ghost hunter wrinkled his nose, "This is odd, where is everyone?"

The violet ice wielder admitted, "It's quiet, too quiet."

Mario stated, "Let's look around."

To that, both Luigi and Violet nodded. Mario drove up a little further. He was starting to get worried about his girlfriend, Peach. When they got to the castle, the drawbridge started to lower. Once the drawbridge was lowered, they drove towards the castle.

Luigi replied, "Here we are, Peach's Castle."

Violet responded, "It feels so ominous here… Maybe everyone's inside?"

Mario got out of the kart, "I'm gonna go ahead. You two go ahead and park it real quick, okay?"

Luigi told his brother, "Got it, just be careful fratello."

Mario sarcastically replied, "Aren't I always?"

Violet sarcastically pointed out, "No, never."

To that, everyone laughed. Luigi drove the kart up as Mario walked towards the castle. It didn't take long for Luigi and Violet to catch up to him. They entered the castle. They had noticed there wasn't a sign of anyone, not even Peach or Toadsworth.

Mario admitted, "Guys, I'm starting to get worried…"

Luigi replied, "Yeah, me too. Where is everyone…?"

Violet frowned, "Let's look around. Maybe we missed something?"

That's when the three heroes started to look around. They went forward.

"Mario… is that you?"

Mario perked up, from his name being called. Though, he didn't recognize the voice. Luigi and Violet didn't either.

Mario asked, "Uh…yes?"

That's when Peach came out, looking like she had been turned into origami.

Everyone breathed, "Princess?!"

Mario asked, "What happened to you…?"

Peach seemed to ignore that as she answered, "How good to see you… Answer me this… Shouldn't the Mushroom Kingdom…unfold…? And be refolded unto glory…?"

Luigi shivered, "Uh…Peach…are you okay…?"

Violet added, "Yeah, this isn't like you…"

Peach told them, "Oh…yes… I am fine. And what of those Toads? Shouldn't they be silenced for all eternity?"

Mario did a double take, "Silenced…? What's wrong, Peaci?"

Peach replied, "Nothing is wrong… Just one last question. Will you crease yourself and be reborn, like me?"

Luigi was shaking up a storm, "Malleo…"

Violet gulped, "That can't be Peach."

Mario stated, "I know, you guys are right." He turned to Peach, "You are not mi Peaci!"

Peach commented, "Wrong answer. Right answer. It matters not. Your replies are paper thin."

Mario activated his Firebrand. Luigi activated his Thunderhand. Violet activated her Aurora Nine.

Luigi stammered, "Y - you can't be the princess!"

Violet demanded, "Where's the real princess?"

Peach coldly pointed out, "But…I am the real princess. And whether you believe it or not, it is time for our goodbye."

Before anyone could react, the floor opened out from underneath them and they fell down.

When Mario did as he was told, the floor started to glow a white light.

Mario breathed, "What the…?" That's when he noticed that his arms had turned into origami. He further added, "Uh…"

Luigi admitted, "That's…new."

Violet told Mario, "Maybe you need to use that powerup to free the voice?"

"Yes, just move that wall!"

Mario moved the wall with his 1,000 Fold Arms. That's when they saw an origami girl stuck in the wall. Violet got her down quickly.

Violet told her, "I got you."

Luigi asked, "Are you okay…?"

Mario also asked, "Yeah, who are you?"

The origami girl answered, "First of all, thanks for freeing me! Oh, I was just stuck in that wall…? You must be Mario, Luigi, and Violet! My name is Olivia! You'd probably like to know more about me and how I got stuck in that wall."

Mario stated, "We were curious."

Olivia replied, "But we don't have time for that now. Maybe we should just get out of here."

Luigi stammered, "I - I am with her, fratello."

Violet responded, "I am too."

Olivia commented, "I like your friends, they are very smart."

Mario nodded in agreement, he did want to get out of here. He used his hammer to break down a box. They went through the hole. They went into a hall. Olivia looked in one direction and then another. She waved them through.

Mario stated, "Well, at least we are in the dungeon. We know the way from here."

Luigi pointed out, "But it still doesn't explain why Peach was acting that way…"

Olivia told them, "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Violet patted her head, "There's no worry, Olivia. Our princess was acting strange but there isn't anything we can take care of."

Olivia blushed at the physical contact.

"HEY! KNOCK IT OFF!"

Everyone perked up.

Violet asked, "Was that Bowser?"

Olivia attached herself to Violet, "S - sounded like it."

Luigi stammered, "W - why would he be down here?"

Mario told them, "Not sure but we should check it out."

They went up ahead and peeked into a crack in the wall. They saw Bowser had been caught and was folded up a bit.

"I can see what you are about to do my minion, so I order you to CUT IT OUT!"

That's when some shadows of origami shy guys took a koopa towards what seemed to be a bowl. They threw the koopa in there, turning him into origami. Mario had to turn away.

Olivia stammered, "T - that was awful…"

Violet placed her hand on Olivia's shoulder, "Hey, it's okay, you are safe with us…"

Olivia wound up crying on the violet ice wielder's shoulder. Violet rubbed her back, trying to calm her down.

Mario stated, "We better get in there and help Bowser before he becomes one of those things!"

Luigi stammered, "D - did you just say that you wanted to help Bowser?! Malleo, that's a very bad idea!"

Mario pointed out, "Maybe so Weegie but we could use his help."

Luigi groaned, "O - oh man, I hate when you are right…"

Violet told Mario, "We are ready when you are."

Olivia stated, "Y - yes we are." She turned to Violet and added, "Thanks Violet, I hate those Folded Up Soldiers."

Violet winked, "Anytime Olivia."

The sacred violet ice wanted to ask about how the origami girl knew that but decided not to ask. Luigi smiled at the girls as they went into the room.
