Characters:
Sunny: In this version Sunny is even more alone and anti-social since he left Faraway town with his mother. Despite dropping out of school his mother whose name is Maria was able to homeschool him pretty well to the point that he was able to graduate with flying colors, during this time Maria wanted him to come out of his shell even a little so called an old friend to try and help her son. This man was a Mixed Martial Arts teacher named "old man" Bob yes Bob, Bob here actually taught Sunny's mom when she was a kid and is more than willing to teach Sunny especially after hearing his situation and the Truth. It was hard at first Sunny really didn't like the idea of spending his days training with an old man, but Bob was determined to instill in Sunny discipline, focus, and mental fortitude eventually both Bob and Sunny make a father and Son bond. However, tragedy strikes when on Sunny's last day at the dojo Bob tells him about an abandoned dock that he himself used to train and thus bestows it too Sunny, Sunny understandably goes to check it out and even sees some training equipment and the next day Bob is found dead. Sunny has moved out and has a job and an apartment he tells this to his dying mother trying to give her comfort, his mother picking up on this tells him that no matter what he has done he will always be proud of him and wants him to live his life she dies a few days later. Sunny alone wants to die with implications he's tried many times yet doesn't for some reason a small part of him keeps him alive and as a hobby makes a comic.
Design: The only real design change since this time he wears Long sleeve shirts for increasingly obvious reasons, he also has long hair, and most likely in parts 5 and 6 may have a moustache and goatee

Kel: As usual Kel has remained unchanged only this time he's taken his love of sports to a pro level and while he's on a small team he's come to Nearby city to scout out the area for a tournament that's in a couple years and maybe to find an old friend. He is (arguably) more mature than he was as a kid but still likes to have fun, help others, and definitely isn't afraid to tussle with the best of them.
Aubrey: It's not all a good change for everyone since for Aubrey more time is more time to fester in her already unstable emotional state, after her mom died due to malnutrition and alcoholism Aubrey and her gang scrounged up as much money as they needed and ran away to Nearby city, bought an apartment, and joined a gang yes the Venom gang (symbolic). Don't worry despite that they still haven't done anything too bad (or at least haven't got caught yet) and just do some odd jobs for the gang, however I may imply some drug and alcohol addiction and maybe abuse, of course I'll make them break out of it thanks to Hero eventually though alcohol maybe hard for Aubrey like mother like daughter.
Hero: Speaking of Hero by this point he should be in med school after graduating college and is interning at Nearby city in a Psych ward where Basil is (but he doesn't know yet), as for his personality he's also the same like his brother kind but very mature and nurturing yet there seems to be a coldness to his attitude and when he founds out the Truth things get...SOMETHING.
Basil: Has quite possibly suffered the most in this alternate story since Sunny never came out of his house and moved earlier than intended thus couldn't be with him which means he was bullied more by Aubrey (of course Kel and Hero helped as much as they could), lost his grandmother, and tried to kill himself. Thankfully Polly his caretaker along with Kel and Hero stopped him before he could and was taken to a psych ward in Nearby city, in the ward his mental state reverted to the memories of his childhood thinking everyone is fine even Mari. When Hero found out about this he tried to help Basil using what he learned in a psychology class (with some studying on the side) to see what's up, soon learning about the SOMETHING only he and Sunny can see and the Truth.
