Alright I've been reading stories on this site for a number of years now and finally decided that it was about time I add some of my own, while hopefully sharpening my writing skills so we'll see how this goes.

So since this is my first story here I didn't want to be taken too seriously so I thought to my self whats the most ridiculous thing I can crossover with Percy Jackson were I can still have a serious plot if I want to, the answer I came to, Power Rangers. Specifically Lost Galaxy.

The Power Rangers side of things will be AU the extent of which will be apparent in a few chapters

Admittedly my goal here isn't to tell an epic story but to tell a fun one, but if I happen to pull off some epic moments in this story later on I doubt anyone will complain.

Also fair warning punctuation and grammar is probably gonna be less than stellar

Chapter One

Percy POV

I sat on my bed crying it was all I'd been doing for the last several weeks since the end of the giant war.

Confused?

Annabeth had been killed in the battle of Athens a tragedy only compounded by the reliance we had on each other after our recent vacation through Tartarus.

But that wasn't the end of it in an act of revenge for destroying Gaea, her monsters had set their sights on the seven's families with Leo and the romans it wasn't much of an issue Pipers dad already had security and their wasn't a real point in going after Annabeth's family anymore, that only left my mom and Paul who had both had been killed.

I stumbled into my mom and Pauls' apartment still numb from the loss of Annabeth, Immediately I sensed something was wrong it was too quiet,

My mom had been just as frantic as Annabeth to me again, she should've rushed to the door to see who it was, followed closely by Paul. But the apartment was eerily quiet, drawing riptide I crept through the hall towards his Mom's and Paul's bedroom,

Opening the door slowly I saw what was left of My mom's body hidden behind Paul's. He'd obviously tried to protect her in the final act of his life but in the end it had done little good and both of them looked like they had been torn apart by a wild animal.

I was pulled from these unhappy memories, when there was a flash of bright light as Hermes appeared.

"Perseus" he greeted.

"What's up." I asked standing up. His eyes were red and bloodshot.

"Zeus has called a meeting on Olympus and you demigods there."

Wearily, I asked. "Why has some new threat appeared."

"I have my suspicions on what this may be about but I don't know for certain." Hermes answered before grabbing my shoulder and teleporting us to Olympus.

"Heroes!" Zeus boomed. I glared at Leo as the other demigods arrived, our relationship had gone down hill after he took the physicians cure for him self.

"We have called you here because of a recent disturbance in an rather unexpected location."

Zeus waved hand summoning a giant iris message in the middle of the room showing, was that mars!

No no not the god, but the red planet but that wasn't the most interesting thing being shown at the moment some distance away there was a distortion in space.

There is an immense amount of power is emanating from this rift. Athena finally said. We need a quest of heroes to explore beyond the rift find the source of this power and see that it provides no threat to Olympus.

"Ok but how exactly are we supposed to get there?" I asked

"Oh easy Hephaestus has already built a spaceship." Replied Apollo, "also thanks for volunteering Perc."

"Wait what! No I'm not, no on second thought what the heck am trying to resist for. Let's go to space!"

When They'd said "spaceship" I'd honestly imagined a space shuttle or the millennium falcon, not a small gold pod so full of circuits and technology just to make it work that the three of us on this mission were left packed together like sardines.

The three of us were as expected rather irritated.

"So just to review up till now we've fought giants, monsters, gods, and now we're on our way to fight alien does anybody else think we crossed into a new territory of weirdness." Said Leo.

"Come on, be optimistic we might not get into a fight." Frank argued

Leo and I both just stared at him.

"And since when do we have that much luck." I asked

"Yeah I didn't believe it either but who knows we could get," said Frank.

"Hold on to that thought, Frankie boy because were about to pass through the wormhole." Said Leo

The space began to twist and contort around the ship and there was a flash of light,

A lush green forested world appeared out the viewport.

So what do guys think, someday mortals will come here to colonize it. "asked Frank."

"Who's to say that we're not alone in the universe and this is where the aliens live there already." Said Leo. "Never mind." He said moment later, his face falling. "Here they are."

Outside there was a colossal dragonfly like ship with massive curved mandible like blades near the head rippling toward them.

OK ominous spaceship check voting that we leave now. Said Percy.

"Agreed." Leo replied, throwing the ship into reverse.

Now would surprise you to learn that this action only allowed us to travel only one foot backwards, no I didn't think so.

"Leo why aren't we moving." Asked Frank.

"We're caught in some kind of tractor beam and in Star Wars apparently." Said Leo as we were pulled into some kind of a landing bay.

They saw human shaped beetles bustling about various tasks, including but not limited to cutting threw the hull of our ship.

"So what do you think the chances are that their friendly." Asked Leo sheepishly.

Soon enough we were being dragged through the ships corridors.

"So shouldn't you guys be demanding to see our leader." Percy asked.

The creature to his right buzzed.

"Ah so they're not conversationalists." Leo observed wryly.

"You know Leo while we're on the subject of sci-fi stereotypes in the movies, and granted I don't watch many but don't the heroes usually have some trick their sleeves to escape!" I snapped.

"Hay! what was I supposed to do, dad didn't put any auto escape gadgets in the ship."

They were separated into different holding cells and suspended in the air by their wrists.

Several hours later or at least it felt like it the beetles returned and began dragging me the ships corridors once again. They brought to a room where an alien with twisted red armor kneeled before a pedestal.

"The prisoner you requested lord Scorpius."

The figure turned revealing what sat on that pedestal. Percy was actually almost glad that Annabeth wasn't around to see this. In front of him was a giant spider with tentacles instead of legs.

"What is your name boy." It hissed.

"I am Perseus Jackson son of Poseidon and you are."

"Scorpius." He growled. "You would do well to respect your betters boy."

"Yeah the they've been telling me that for years it's never really sunken in though." I replied

Scorpius blinked several of his eyes in surprise it had obviously been quite some time since he'd encountered anyone with the nerve to talk back to him.

Apparently neither had his friend.

"How dare you speak to the mighty Scorpius in such manner, I should kill you where you stand." He roared. Raising his sword.

Percy was surprised to see Scorpius motion for him to stop with one of his tentacles.

"Stand down Furio, this one has the eyes of a warrior tempered by great sorrow, the sort who's respect you have to earn, I like that."

"Boy I will let you tell us your story and why such an obviously primitive species would dare venture through the rift into my space." "If you manage to impress me then you and the others from your pathetic vessel may live, if not than I will tear each of you apart with my tentacles." Threatened Scorpius.

Well we were sent because of the energy coming from the rift. Percy started.

"No boy, I want to about all the battles you've fought and what you've lost."

I felt a prick on the back of my neck, I turned in time to catch a glimpse of a dark figure retreating out of sight.

"I'd advise you to tell the truth not that you have a choice at this point." Scorpius said.

And so under the effects of what I could only assume was an alien truth serum, I told him everything about all of his quests from the Zeus lightning bolt to the prophecy of seven and finally about the energy that the gods had sent them to investigate.

"Scorpius the energy he spoke of it must have come from mirinoi which means that the-"

"Silence Furio." Scorpius snapped, turning his attention back to Percy.

"You have intrigued me child your comrades were far less notable guests and will soon be sent back through the rift whence they came in that piece of scrap metal you call a ship. You however, shall remain here on the Scorpion Stinger to act as a liaison to this Olympus of yours, and make yourself useful in any other way that I deem fit." Said Scorpius.

"Let me guess if I say no, you'll just kill us all right here and now." Percy responded.

"Yes given time you'll make an excellent, asset." Scorpius murmured.

I got the feeling that he'd intended to say something more like pawn rather than asset.

A teenage girl emerged from behind one of the pillars and walked over to Scorpius' side. Her garb and headdress gave her a gothic insect appearance. With a start I realized that it wasn't a headpiece but an actual part of her body.

"My daughter Trakeena. She will guide you threw our ship to your new quarters."

Trakeena and a squad of stingwingers as she called them lead him through the ships corridors in a grand tour of the Scorpion Stinger.

The interior walls seemed to be almost organic. No, not almost, it was feeling more and more like I was trapped inside a the belly of some giant monster.

"Percy!" Someone shouted.

Looking over I saw Leo and Frank still being pulled along by humanoid bugs.

"Guys!" I yelled rushing over

"Listen we don't have a lot of time but short of it is that these guys are sending you home but their keeping me here." I tried to explain quickly.

"What! Why?" Asked Frank.

"Take them away." Trakeena ordered the stingwingers escorting the other demigods.

As I watched my friends get dragged away I realized that my guide was leaning against an open door frame.

"And here are the guest quarters." Said Trakeena few moments later turning to face him. So you really are something to survive a meeting with my father and come out of it with such a generous bargain. She said, tracing his chin.

Generous! she calls it. I've just become a Glorified slave.

"Do you know what will happen to me now." Percy asked nervously.

"Hmm." Trakeena seemly paused think. "Well most likely my father will test you to see if your the warrior you say you are. Once that's done you'll be trotted out for all the little niceties with your friends, helping to make sure father gets everything he wants out any negotiations." She smiled at him and left.

I took in my new room it was cold metal and spartan about what I would've expected. I sat down contemplating the turns my life had taken the last twenty four hours.

I have a lot of ideas for different stories but I'm hoping reviews on this story will help keep me focused.
